So, should you fork over your hard-earned cash to Marcel Fernandes’ Chat Money System?
I definitely would not.
It just doesn’t make sense for me to send any kind of money over to a guy who can’t be bothered to keep up with his social media pages. After all, his program is supposed to be all about helping businesses with marketing…
…how can he help with marketing, if he can’t consistently market himself?
I personally prefer much safer programs, but if you’re really into the idea of being a “digital marketing broker”, then let’s keep going.
Marcel’s idea is somewhat unique, in that he seems to see the value of the lead generation industry, but doesn’t want to actually do the digital marketing work behind it. Instead, he offers his services as a way of getting those marketers hooked up with the right businesses over Instagram DMs.
Usually, people who have their own lead gen business will call up local businesses they know need the help, which saves them wasting time or money with someone in the middle.
Is it a legitimate online training program? Maybe. Maybe Marcel really does make a ton of money per month with this kind of business model, but it seems tricky to me.

- You’ve heard some people calling him a scammer and got a little spooked
- You’d rather avoid being a “middle man” and get the job done yourself
Chat Money System At A 1,000 FT View
Digital marketing (especially lead generation) is a great industry, with lots of upside in many different ways.
That said, it’s like Marcel is “so close…yet so far” from doing this right.
Instead, he wants everyone else to do the work, while him and his students send out a few Direct Messages on Instagram to put everything together.
I’ll tell you right now – if someone is willing to have the courage and willpower to go out and start up their own marketing business, I’m gonna bet they’re not so lazy that they can’t go out and reach businesses on their own.
This whole business model of being a lead gen middleman is super flawed, as far as I can tell. Digital marketers make money every month from their work, and the businesses bring in more clients and more money…but what happens when they get together and start wondering why they keep paying the middleman, when he doesn’t actually do anything anymore?
Making connections is very important, but it’s something that marketers need to be doing from within themselves or within their own company.
I suspect that Marcel has eventually realized this reality, which is why you don’t see him posting much on social media anymore.
I’d say stick with lead generation, but find the right mentor for youwho does it the right way.
Who Is Marcel Fernandes?
Marcel Fernandes has a classic “rags to riches” story that you might have even read in other Marcel Fernandes reviews.
He doesn’t reveal too much about himself, but we do know that around the time he turned 20 years old, he found himself broke, with a negative balance in his bank account.
Not good.
Apparently around this time he started looking up everything about making money online – from learning how to use cookies, to wondering why there aren’t more digital marketing brokers out there.
And that’s when Chat Money System was born.
He decided to build up a decent TikTok following, mostly from his fellow Brazilians, and he’s been using that to try to push his online program ever since.
How Much Does Chat Money System Cost?
It appears as if Marcel charges a $97 one-time fee to join up with his program, which is an extremely low price when it comes to most courses.
However, there are more fees that he throws in once you land on the checkout page:
- $9 for “lifetime access” instead of having to pay again next year
- $19 “lifetime guarantee” so you can get a refund at any time past the original 7 day policy
- $27 per month daily coaching call rate
The last one is the number that will add up quickly ($324 over a year), but realistically even paying 500 bucks for everything over a year is still kind of on the low side.
While this seems great as a consumer, you might start wondering at some point: am I going to receive a lot of value if this guy’s course is a thousand dollars cheaper than everyone else?
The other possible reasoning is that Brazilians are his primary target, and from what I understand, their economy is weaker than countries like the United States; Marcel might just be pricing himself so that his students can afford him.

Marcel Fernandes offers a 7-day refund policy, but after that it sounds like he will fight you pretty hard – so you’d better make your mind up early if you want your money back!
You have to prove you have made 1,000 cold DMs in order to get your money back under the 60-day money back guarantee.

So…is Chat Money System legit?
I’m not really a fan of this program at all, but I won’t go so far to say it’s a scam
Digital marketing is a real industry, and a great one. It sounds like he basically wants to score some money from it without doing any of the actual marketing.
Personally, I recommend just doing the whole Digital Leasing operation by yourself, that way you can keep 100% of your profits, and not have to slow yourself down by dealing with a middle man.
Personal Opinion On Marcel Fernandes
So, how do you choose the right program?
- Make sure it’s in an industry that makes sense for you
- See if there are any student reviews that actually vouch for the guru
- Ask yourself if you can see yourself doing this for ten years
Marcel’s pretty rough as far as gurus go, if we’re being honest.
But to be fair, how about a quick 3 things I like about him:
- Knows how to reach a younger audience via TikTok
- Seems to understand that lead generation is a strong industry
- Not too expensive
…and, to be fair, 3 things I don’t really like:
- He hasn’t posted on Facebook in years
- Gets close to digital marketing, but doesn’t jump all in
- Has some bad reviews on his own Facebook page
What’s Inside Chat Money System?
As you can see in the image above, the CMS program is so easy that even a 12 year old can do it…I’m not sure what Brazilian labor laws are like, but good for that kid!
Chat Money System features 13 modules, but they look like there’s not a whole lot in them.
Some of the lessons include:
- Mindset training
- Teaching you how to DM strangers and ask for their money
- Lessons on how you can overcome targets pushing back against your offer
- Tips on how you can make some money by promoting Marcel’s course
- There is an entire module on how to have a Rest Day; I guess it’s a Rest Module
Next up, Marcel throws some “bonuses” your way:
- Texting people you know for their email addresses, so you can try to make money from them
- Go to garage sales and re-sell the cheap or free stuff for a higher price
- Take free things on Facebook Marketplace, then put them back on FB and sell them for money
There really are great options out there when it comes to making money online…but I’m not sure this is one of them.
Marcel Fernandes Reviews: Conclusion
So, should you fork over your money to the CMS program?
I wouldn’t.
Marcel Fernandes doesn’t seem to even post on social media much anymore, and in his old stuff just shows him talking into the camera from his bed…seems lazy.
If you’re looking to get into digital marketing, then don’t try to do it halfway. Jump all in, without relying on a middleman to find the right businesses for you.
And even if you find the right business model, it won’t matter unless you’ve got the right mentor leading you to success.
