TLDR - What’s The Verdict On FBA Queen Academy?

I know that some of you are the type that likes to go straight to the dessert bar of an all-you-can-eat buffet first, so this section is for you. 

What do I think of FBA Queen Academy? 

Well, it isn’t much different from any other FBA courses. They want you to buy into the idea of being able to make a killing online with very little effort on your part. 

This is what they refer to as “passive income”. 

But is it really? 

Now, I’m not suggesting that passive income is an impossibility – in fact, there are many people who are making millions with Amazon FBA.  

Of course, I'm not one who reached the million dollar mark with FBA, but there were days when I was making money hand over fist, before I found something else that gave me a quicker path to my financial goals. 

So when it comes to making money online, I can't knock Amazon FBA, but there are some hurdles that can trip you up if you don’t see them coming. 

But, I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself. 

When you look at getting into a business, you should weigh it against something that’s proven to be successful rather than saying, “Well, it’s better than this or that program.” 

That’s no way to determine if it’s something that will actually make you money over the long-term. 

What I’d like to do is pick apart the FBA Queen Academy business model and help you determine if the program is really for you or not. 

Over all the reviews I’ve written, I've come to one overall conclusion – and that is that you should never try to fit yourself into a box. 

That’s just a recipe for disaster!

What you should do instead is determine if a program fits with the type of person you are. 

So, let’s take a look at a few issues that everyone has to consider when working with Amazon FBA: 

• How It Works
• Selecting Your Product
• How Long It Takes

Now, keep in mind, you can absolutely make money with Amazon FBA, it’s just gonna take quite a bit of “non-passive” effort on your part. 

How It Works:

First, FBA teachers will spin this tale that you can do this business in your sleep because Amazon will do all the hard stuff for you. 

Which is awfully nice of them to offer, but you first have to get your foot in the door – and that can be a little more difficult than Araceli and Mayra would have you believe. 

Amazon has a lot of hoops for you to jump through before they allow you to use up their warehouse space.  Even if you are accepted into their “elite” group of dropshippers, it doesn’t come Free – I’ll touch on that later. 

Is this any reason to NOT work with Amazon? 

Not necessarily. I just want to give you a heads up before you buy FBA Queen Academy thinking that everything will be smooth sailing. 

Selecting Your Products:

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the “Pet Rock”, right? 

If not, here’s a quick summary… 

The pet rock was a popular “toy” that was created back in 1975 by a genius marketer named Gary Dahl. 

It was a smooth stone that came with its own cardboard pet carrier with bedding, ventilation holes, and a manual on how to take care of your new pet. 

Sound ridiculous? 

Well, Gary sold over 1.5 million of these rocks within about six months. People bought them as gag gifts and stocking stuffers, while Gary was featured on many TV programs including the Tonight Show… but within a year nobody wanted it any more.

My point is that even though you might stumble across something that you believe will set the world on fire – that fire will eventually go out and you’ll be left with trying to find the next “pet rock”. 

How Long It Takes:

Regardless of what Araceli Valezquez might teach you in her course, the best case scenario is that you’re looking at about three months of testing products and ads (which means a lot of money out of pocket) before you start seeing a profit… I’m not talking about a huge profit either. 

In fact, you could be losing money for months. 

Does that mean that Amazon FBA is a bad choice? 

No, it just means that it’s a regular business, with real expenses that you need to be aware of. 

Now, what if you could start a business that’s nothing like Amazon FBA, and build real passive income in less than a week?

Every now and then I’ll have someone hit me up in a text message or an email asking whether or not they should join programs that push Amazon FBA. 

When that happens, I usually get a chuckle because I don’t have the first clue what to tell them, mainly because I don’t have the first clue who they are. 

In these situations, I usually take a step back and respond back with a way for them to figure this out for themselves since their gut reaction to something is much better than any advice I could give them. 

So, if you can relate to any of the following, FBA Queen Academy might fit:

• You believe that starting your own business is a good way for a woman to take back control of her future and achieve her goals in life. 
• You have a desire to be creative, pursue your passions, and believe that entrepreneurship can help with that. 
• You have other female business owners who have more control over their work-life balance and you want that. 

Now, if any of these scenarios give you anxiety, then FBA would not work for you: 

• You’ve heard from people that you know in the industry that there’s just too much competition which makes it hard for beginners to get their footing. 
• You don’t like the idea of spending so much of your time and effort on a business model that only has a 10% success rate. 
• You’re concerned with shipping from overseas. This Reddit user caught flack from a customer because he had to wait so long for an order, but when it finally arrived the product was damaged. 

Now, let's take a few steps back.

FBA Queen Academy: A 1,000 Ft View

In this section, I'd like to give you a more broad view of FBA Queen Academy starting with the business model.

How Does The Business Model Work?

Let’s say that you’ve found a product that you believe will sell like hotcakes, may women’s clothing or shoes. 

The problem is that you live in a two-bedroom apartment and don’t have to stockpile anything. So you enlist the help of Amazon FBA which stands for “Fulfillment By Amazon” and it works like this: 

1. Send Products To Amazon: You have your supplier ship your shoes and clothes to Amazon to store for a relatively small fee. 
2. Customer Orders From You: When someone places an order on your site, you send the order to Amazon so they can pick it up from the warehouse, then ship it to your customer. 
3. Amazon Fulfills Order: Amazon takes care of all the customer service issues if anything goes wrong on their end. In fact, they take care of everything except sales. 
4. You Get Paid: Once the product is sold, Amazon will send you the money minus their inventory and shipping & handling fees. 

How Much Does Amazon FBA Cost?

Amazon will include the following services: 

• Picking and Packing your customers order
• Shipping & Handling
• Customer Service and Returns

Amazon will also charge you for stocking your products which is broken down into two main categories: 

1. Apparel (ie, clothing, shoes, etc): This will cost you anywhere from about $3.43 to a little over $161 per item. 
2. Non-Apparel (ie, games, toys, electronics, etc): You’re looking at just over $3 to about $161 per item. 

Amazon will also charge you storage fees which can cost you $0.75 - $2.40 per cubic foot.

There are some extra fees that may not be outlined in the program.  

For example, your products will need to have barcodes and that will run you about $15 for a package of ten. 

Also, many FBA sellers use Jungle Scout for services like: 

• Finding and tracking products
• Inventory Manager 
• Sales Analytics
• Keyword Research
• Product Database

These services can cost you anywhere from anywhere from $49 to $129 per month. 

Lastly, in order to be a successful amazon seller and get priority listings, they will charge you an extra $39.99 for your trouble.

As you can see, working with Amazon can be rather expensive.

How Much Does FBA Queen Academy Cost?

Depending on the which program you choose (Gold, Platinum, Diamond), you're looking at between $1,997 to $4,997.

Who Is Araceli Valezquez?

Araceli Valezquez is a well-known figure in Amazon FBA. She, along with Mayra Martinez, created the FBA Queen Academy, a three-month coaching program designed to help people build successful online businesses through Amazon arbitrage.

This program offers three different packages: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, each tailored to different levels of experience and commitment.

The FBA Queen Academy stands out because it includes access to a special software called Sellers Hideout, which makes it easier to find products and suppliers.

Students who have taken the course speak highly of it, saying that they've learned a lot about selling on Amazon and have received great support from Araceli and Mayra.

However, they also say that making money through Amazon FBA can be tough due to high competition and market saturation.

Before becoming a successful Amazon coach and wholesaler, she worked in a coffee shop and in debt.

Mayra Martinez, Araceli's partner in FBA Queen Academy, is also a successful Amazon wholesaler and FBA seller. Together, they say that their program can help turn a small investment into a booming business.

How Is FBA Queen Academy Different From Other Similar Programs?

Now let’s take a look at how FBA Queen Academy squares up against similar programs. 

Let’s recap. The FBA Queen Academy is a three-month Amazon Seller coaching program that comes in three packages costing from $1,997 to $4,997. 

The Rainmaker Challenge is an FBA course taught by Stephen and Chelsey Diaz and is more geared towards the beginner and stay-at-home mom. The cost for this course can range from $47 to as much as $421. Chelsey does say that you should have at least $1,000 to $10,000 in funds to hit the ground running. 

Sophie Howard teaches a similar Amazon FBA course that focuses on selling obscure or unique products. Her course costs anywhere from $3,000 to over $6,300. Recently she’s moved into the Amazon Kindle Direct publishing arena.

Tom Wang FBA Masterclass is a more extensive program covering many topics of FBA. The cost of his course is $6,997 and has 320 lessons. Tom also suggest you have a budget ($10,000 to $20,000) to get your first product up and running

My Personal Opinion About FBA Queen Academy

As we’re getting close to the end of this review, I’d like to make our way back to Araceli Valezquez for just a few moments. 

During this review, I covered some of the reasons why you might like the idea of getting involved with Amazon FBA, and a few reasons why you might not. 

So, now I’d like to help you out with a checklist that I use when there seems to be too much noise in the background:

1. Experience: Does Araceli (and Mayra) have adequate, real-world experience with Amazon FBA? 
2. Mentorship: Does this duo offer mentorship along with their training? 
3. Value: Does the value of their training match or exceed the price tag? 
4. Honest: Is there anything that Araceli and Mayra aren’t telling you about FBA? 
5. Community: Do they offer a community for their students to network together?

The FBA Queen Academy Scam Question:

So, Is FBA Queen Academy a scam? 

I don’t believe so. 

I mean I can’t picture Araceli and Mayra scheming in a corner somewhere, counting your money, waiting on a flight to an uncharted desert island in the middle of the Caribbean. 

Then again, you never know – just joking!

On a serious note though, even though it’s possible to make money online with Amazon FBA, it’s just not as simple as Araceli says it is. 

As I mentioned earlier, there’s just way too much work to be done on the front-end with little to no guarantee of making money on the backend. 

Let’s also not forget that other programs mention that you need upwards of $10,000 to $20,000 just to get on your feet with your first product. 

Speaking of your first product – do you have any answers to questions like: 

• What should you sell? 
• How much will it cost to buy in bulk?
• Are you on the beginning of its popularity or the end? 

I would hate to spend even a fraction of the marketing costs on an item that might fall off the face of the Earth 30-60 days from now. 

Now, I’m not necessarily opposed to spending money (even a lot of money) and marketing and advertising, but if I do, I’d like to have a guarantee that I’ll be making that money back… preferably in spades. 

That’s why I believe that Digital Leasing is the best route to go, especially for someone new to the game. 

Picture this – it’s three months from now and you’ve been building digital assets in your spare time, making anywhere from $500 - $2,000 per month for each asset.

Over the last 3 months, you’ve been able to build ten of these little gems and you're conservatively making $10,000 per month, and it’s all passive income! 

How does that make you feel right now? 

This is exactly how I and thousands of other individuals are feeling. 

It gets better though, because the money we’re making is an after-thought.  What I mean is that we’re living life on our own terms without having to worry about money issues. 

How would you like to live this “laptop-lifestyle”? Because, that’s all you need… a laptop and connection to the internet. 

In fact, I know people first hand who are making 5-6 figures per month in places like:

So, if you’re ready to jump off the 9-5 merry-go-round and take control of your future, then it’s time for you to take a look at Digital Leasing! 

Would I Recommend FBA Queen Academy?

For a quick moment, I want to refer back to my checklist and see if this program is one I would recommend. 

What I like: 

From what I can see, it does seem that Araceli and Mayra have a good grasp on the Amazon FBA business and are able to relay that information well to their students with mentorship, a private community and one-on-one coaching. 

What I don’t like: 

The price of the program is a little on the high end, especially if you're thinking about the $4,997 version.  

Is this a bad thing? 

No, not if the value of the program is there – which might be the case given some testimonials from a few of their students. 

There are, however, other programs that are much less expensive that would be a better way to go if you're a beginner, at least to get a better understanding of the business model without jumping into the deep end. 

Also, they don’t offer refunds.  Instead what you’ll receive is a “Results Guarantee” meaning that they will still keep your money, but will work with you for as long as it takes to make sure you succeed. 

Now let’s look at what’s inside the program. 

What's Inside FBA Queen Academy?

The program is broken down into 3 different levels: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. 

Gold:

The Gold program is for individuals that want to be more pro-active when running their business. Inside you get: 

• Lifetime access to all of their course modules
• Up to a 50% discount on all their software and tools
• Access to community chat support
• Pre-made spreadsheets and cheat sheets for product verification

Platinum:

In the Platinum program you get everything from Gold plus the following: 

• Mastermind group calls: The FBA Queens offer live calls two times per week where you can ask questions and address concerns.  All calls are recorded. 
• Private Mentorship: For 3 months, you’ll work side-by-side with Araceli and Mayra in group calls and chats to strategize and grow your business. 
• Master Guide: You’ll have access to their Master Ungate Guide for big name brands like Nike and Starbucks. 

Diamond: 

In the Diamond program, you get all of the above plus: 

• Access to the suppliers and distributors Araceli and Mayra use. 
• Advanced training on hiring employees and VAs. 

My Conclusion: Should You Join FBA Queen Academy?

We’re in the home-stretch of this review, so I’m going to keep this simple. 

I know the appeal of running an Amazon FBA dropshipping business. 

• Being your own boss
• Making more than enough money to live a luxury lifestyle
• Taking back control of your future

But is this the best Amazon FBA course to achieve these goals? 

If you’re looking at a program that costs $1,997 to $4,997, I would say it’s a little dicey especially given that you’ll also need at least another $10,000 just to launch your first product – and you’re not even guaranteed it’ll be successful. 

So is it worth it? 

Well, I would much rather look at a program where you have a better chance at success. 

I just don’t think Amazon FBA is it.

Let me first say that I've seen some of the best Amazon FBA courses out there, and I’ve made a lot of money with many different business models, and while no business checks off everything on the list, there is one business that gives you the best chance for success as a beginner, and that’s Digital Leasing

Now, the choice is yours – FBA Queen Academy could be the solution you're looking for, but trust me, I’ve been down that road and it’s a bumpy one. 

OR, you can think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other people like you and me.
