TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Business 101 For Creators?
Business 101 For Creators is the latest in a line of self-development courses that Thomas Frank has started up over the years.
Thomas’ roots are in helping high school and college students become more productive, but as he’s gotten older, he’s branched out into the “real world” as well.
And now, Thomas Frank wants to help you become a proficient content creator as well!
That could mean anything, really. He’s gained most of his success by positing hundreds of YouTube videos over the years, but it seems like he’s open to his students trying their luck all over social media. That’s probably a wise decision, with so many young people spending their time on TikTok or Instagram these days.
His course is an interesting idea. There has been an uptick in YouTube “automation” courses where gurus tell their students to churn out generic stock-videos to make money, but that’s not what Thomas is doing here at all.
YouTube Automation is a terrible business model, by the way.
But Thomas is going the other way with it – he’s actually targeting the content creators out there who are really funny, or creative, or provide a useful service of some kind.
It seems like he’s specifically going after those of you who actually already have a channel or page going already and just need to learn more about handling the business side of things, from what I can tell.
In other words, it doesn’t seem to me like this is really the course for anyone who’s looking to learn more about going viral or gaining a bunch of followers – it’s about mastering the next steps after that.
It seems like you can certainly make a bunch of money if you have a big following, but I do agree with Thomas that you have to do it smart. Taxes can be a killer, and there are all sorts of boring technicalities that a creative free spirit might overlook.
Now, if you’re reading this and were hoping to learn how to get started as an online content creator…well, I won’t leave you totally hanging.
If you really wanna find a way to make some money online, then take a look into Digital Leasing.
I stumbled onto it and it really looks like it could be a life-changer…something that finally gives you that financial freedom you’re looking for.
All you gotta do is bring in customers for local businesses, and the money rolls in every month!
The students seem extremely passionate about what they’re doing – not just getting by, but creating their own future.
That said, if you’d like to hear some more about our Thomas Frank review, let’s keep on rolling.
Who Benefits From Thomas Frank’s Course…And Who Is It Wrong For?
Area | Score | Description |
---|---|---|
Time Investment | 4/5 | The course is very short, however some of the legal paperwork can be a hassle. |
Level of Control | 3/5 | You get to control what you post, but social media is getting more and more controlling these days. |
Ease of Implementation | 4/5 | It’s a little tedious to handle the business side of things, but as long as you already have a good following, it won’t be too bad. |
Profit Potential | 4/5 | This is not for beginners, but if you have a top channel, then of course you can make money. |
Thomas Frank has made a bunch of money from teaching young folks the basics of getting more efficient with their time and money.
But can he really teach other people how to make money off their content creation?
All that said, Business 101 For Creators might be for you if…
- You’ve built up a strong following on social media, but have no idea how to monetize
- You’ve watched some of Thomas Frank’s other videos and liked his energy
- You’ve tried YouTube automation courses and they didn’t make sense for you
On the other hand, it probably doesn’t make sense to join up if…
- You thought Thomas was gonna help you start a new channel
- You’re looking for something more stable and reliable
- Having no reviews is too risky for you
Business 101 For Creators At A 1,000 FT View
Business 101 For Creators is basically just a quick course on the ins and outs of all the boring stuff that most creative types have no interest in – however, it’s very important to learn this kinda stuff.
One of the worst things is to stumble into tax season and suddenly realize that you don’t have all your business tax stuff ready, and then the IRS is on your case.
I’m pretty sure you can get a lot of what Thomas is offering for free, but maybe some people just like the security of having it all in one place, or wanna support what he’s doing.
However, there are probably a bunch of you reading this who are not super famous influencers, so his course doesn’t really make sense for you anyway.
If that’s you then dig into that Digital Leasing thing – instead of years, you’ll have your online business up in weeks and helping out your community. The cool thing about this business model is that you can stack cash from home while actually making a difference – and then you get to spend more time with your loved ones.
If it’s financial freedom you’re after, give it a shot!
Who Is Thomas Frank?
Thomas Frank is an online content creator who pumps out uplifting videos to help people with productivity and personal development.
He got his start back in 2010 with something called College Info Geek, a still-active website that is basically the same as everything else he does – productivity training – but aimed specifically at college-aged kids so they can create better habits and get things done faster and with more efficiency.
Now he has offerings on YouTube, Nebula, Notion, and his own personal website.
It’s a weird niche to hit, but his websites are all pretty slick and he seems like a nice enough guy.
How Much Does Business 101 For Creators Cost?
So, how much does Business 101 For Creators cost?
It looks like the website is very cheap, running for $5/month, $50/year, or $300 for lifetime access.
This price actually allows you to check out a whole bunch of other courses too, so it’s a pretty great deal…although, at some point you’ve gotta ask yourself if this may be a “get what you pay for” sorta thing since you don’t really get any sense of community with Thomas Frank’s course.
Business 101 For Creators’ Refund Policy
Again, transparency is always nice.
It looks like you can get a 30-day refund from Nebula…however, if you access Thomas’ course, then they might consider it a “used product”, making you ineligible for a refund.
At the end of the day, it’s not gonna cost you much anyway unless you really want the lifetime access bundle.
Personal Opinion On Thomas Frank’s Course
Thomas Frank is an interesting guy, and definitely knows how to market himself. After all, I don’t know a ton of gurus who sell coffee mugs and shirts with their own quotes on them!
Finding a guru with the right fit for you is a tricky game…so, how do you make sure you pick the right program?
- Ask yourself if you can really see this helping your content creation business
- Think about the gurus out there and see which one fits your energy best
- Go out and see if a paid course offers info that’s already free
Thomas Frank seems like a decent guru, all in all.
How about a quick 3 things I like about him:
- This guy has been around for a while now
- Understanding the business side of things can be tricky for creatives
- He doesn’t charge too much
…and, to be fair, 3 things I don’t really like:
- Doesn’t appear to offer one-on-one coaching
- Not ideal for beginners
- Basically zero reviews out there
Is There A Business 101 For Creators Scam Going On Here?

“Business 101 For Creators scam” is one of the top searches out there, probably because there just aren’t a lot of reviews, and sometimes people are worried if something is too good to be true.
So, is Thomas Frank running a scam?
I seriously doubt it.
Usually a scammer will take a ton of money and offer basically nothing in return, like a lot of MLMs.
First of all, it seems like Thomas offers a very cheap and limited course and uses a lot of fluffy language, so I get the concern. But he clearly knows how to get subscribers and make money from it.
Usually a scammer will charge way more than he does.
I’m more concerned when I see YouTube gurus bragging about how they can help anyone go viral…but then their own channels only have a few thousand subscribers.
That’s not Thomas Frank.
Now, even though it’s not a scam, that doesn’t mean it’s still a good idea for you to dive in headfirst. If you’re not running a successful social media page already, then you probably shouldn’t waste time with this course.
It’ll take you years to build up a loyal following, so if you’re looking for some passive income online, then just find the right mentor and the right business model to make it happen. Try something that helps those around you, and can snowball into something where you’re making a ton of income from a few clicks of a mouse…
…Digital Leasing provides that financial freedom you’re really looking for, where you can stack some cash and watch it roll in every month!
What’s Inside Business 101 For Creators?
Thomas Frank’s course features 16 lessons, each chopped up into 3-9 bite-sized portions.
Here’s a some of what you’ll learn:
- Business Setup
- Business Finance
- File Organization
- Hiring and Delegation
- Income Diversification
In other words, a lot of the boring nitty-gritty stuff that most creative folks don’t like thinking about. But it is important!

It depends.
If you’re going viral and building up a crazy following on your YouTube channel, and you don’t know where to begin on the business side…yeah, the way Thomas Frank explains things might work for you. Heck, maybe you’ve even worked with his College Info Geek program before and feel safe with him.
But if you’re a newcomer who just wants to start making some killer income to take you and your family out of “survival mode”, then you need something that has way more stability, AND way more upside. Try Digital Leasing, and you can thank me later.
