Affiliate Escape Plan Review (Updated): Is Brian Brewer Legit?

By: Joel & Josiah
affiliate escape plan review

Brian Brewer has been grinding away with affiliate marketing for years now.

He got his start with the notorious Legendary Marketer program, and then decided he was ready to start some of his own projects.

His latest move?

The Affiliate Escape Plan 2.0.

You might have seen Brewer’s program pitched on social media as the 90-Minute Affiliate Challenge, which is the basically the catchy marketing lure to get some clicks.

It seems like Brewer doesn’t really focus much on Facebook anymore (his last post was from 2020), so it’s more likely you saw his ad on somewhere like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube…and if you saw it, then that means you’re right in the target demographic for Mr. Brewer.

Now, that could just mean you’re a certain age, ethnicity, sex etc…

…or it could mean you’ve been looking up some ways of making money online. Maybe you’ve been thinking about starting your own affiliate marketing business, heck, maybe you’ve even been looking up some of Brewer’s competition like Zach Crawford.

It’s kinda tiring, right?

It seems like everyone’s got an opinion, and some reviews just flat-out suck.

Well, I’ve got some good news: instead of wasting hours searching for the info you’re after, just spend a few minutes with me here and I’ll get it to ya in one spot.

By the way, this ain’t my first rodeo. I’ve been grinding these kind of of articles for years now, and after you do a few hundred of ’em, you start noticing patterns…red lights and green lights, you might say. If it’s affiliate niches you’re after, I’ve done it. I’ve covered other industries too, so I know what it takes to become a real estate investor.

So, what about Brian Brewer and his Affiliate Escape Plan?

I’ll take you through the pros and cons, how much all this costs, and we’ll go over some alternatives to see what’ll really give you a nice taste of financial freedom.

Now, let’s rock n’ roll with our Affiliate Escape Plan review!

It seems like Brian Brewer's affiliate marketing training course has a decent amount of material in it, and he's a guy who has been there and done it before. He's a real guy, with a real family, and seems to be legit...however, it's still affiliate marketing at the end of the day. And that means no matter how good the training is, the industry will always be tricky. As for the mentorship, it seems solid, but it'll cost a lot for you to get a lot of access to Brian. There are basically no student reviews of the AEP community yet, so it's hard to give out a negative or positive grade there.

Affiliate marketing has been around for a while, which means it's not some new experimental way of making money online.
If you do it right, you'll be getting paid just for people clicking on your links, which means it could be easy.
Brian Brewer has proven himself to be a successful affiliate marketer, which could mean he'll be a solid coach.
Running an affiliate business often leads to low commissions, meaning you'll have to sell a high quantity for your online business to succeed.
Affiliate marketing campaigns can take a long time for you to get paid, which means you won't know how well you're doing for months at a time.
Because it's easy to sell affiliate marketing courses as "easy", this means the industry has become oversaturated with way too much competition.

Why Listen To Us?

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online
  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it
  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR – What’s The Verdict I Came To In My Affiliate Escape Plan Review?

is brian brewer legit

Brian Brewer’s Affiliate Escape Plan course is a the latest endeavor from the man who once made some big stacks of cash in Dave Sharpe’s Legendary Marketer affiliate marketing course.

It’s cool to know that some people can actually make it work, since the industry of affiliate marketing often gets a bad rap for being hard to make any money from.

In fact, people often ask: is Affiliate Escape Plan a scam?

I wouldn’t say so.

While affiliate marketing isn’t the best, it’s pretty clear that Brewer has been able to master it, and he doesn’t charge outlandish rates to learn from him. This is another sign he’s probably legit – he even allows for Affiliate Marketing Mastermind replays, something other gurus may not offer.

It does seem like he charges a lot for more focused one-on-one access, but that’s fairly common with most gurus.

I would say that you should still be wary of affiliate marketing in general, but if you’re really dedicated to trying out this business model, then you could do a lot worse than Affiliate Escape Plan.

Something I really do like about his affiliate marketing training program is that it doesn’t just focus on paid ads. He emphasizes the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which is the way you get organic traffic moving to your sales funnel.

In other words, Brewer focuses on getting your business onto the first page of Google search results, and doing it in a way that isn’t just churning out money into paid marketing efforts.

But I gotta ask…if you’re gonna go all out and learn all the ins and outs of driving traffic…then why waste it on an oversaturated industry?

I’d rather put that knowledge into something like lead generation, where you bring in clients for local businesses – which is a great way to reduce competition in the first place.

I recently stumbled onto a program that’s putting their own spin on it, calling itDigital Leasing.

Seems like students are loving what they’re seeing so far, especially when they’ve come from affiliate marketing where they’re used to selling low-quality products blindly to anyone willing to click their links on the internet.

And if you do it right, you’ll be building up relationships with real businesses, getting recurring paychecks every month, all online…meaning you could actually do this from the beach if you nail it!

Who Benefits From Online Blueprint…And Who Doesn’t?

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment2/5Takes a long time to see profit with affiliate marketing, but can be easy to set up.
Level of Control1/5It seems like Brian will push students toward only selling his course…
Ease of Implementation3/5Easy to set up, harder to make money though.
Profit Potential1/5Tricky to make a lot of money in this oversaturated industry, especially with the sneaky fees.

There are lots of affiliate marketing systems out there, but is it the right one for you?

Affiliate Escape Plan might be for you if…

  • You’ve done some marketing before and really wanna try the affiliate thing
  • You don’t mind waiting months for a paycheck
  • You’ve tried some other courses (like Affiliate Marketing Mastery) and enjoyed them

But Brian Brewer probably isn’t for you if…

  • You want something that has more long-term upside
  • You’re concerned there aren’t any student reviews out there
  • You can’t afford to wait months at a time to get paid

An Affiliate Marketing Campaign At A 1,000 FT View

Affiliate marketing is all about scoring clicks and sending ’em toward sales funnels, and from there you’ve gotta hope they buy whatever it is you’re selling! You job is to basically to make those sales funnels convincing, and pasting URL links around the internet in the right places…

…and if all goes well, you get a little slice of the pie for your work.

I just have a hard time imagining myself spending the rest of my life copying and pasting links everywhere…and with affiliate marketing, often the program you’re working with will only give you a few products that you have to pick from, further limiting your control.

Frankly, it’s not an industry where you get to actually feel like you’re the boss of anything.

I can see why Brian Brewer spread his wings and decided he wants to be his own man, instead of working for Legendary Marketer forever.

It seems that’s how it goes with this business – the best way to make money is to eventually become a coach and teach other people your affiliate marketing courses.

That just doesn’t feel right to me.

If you’re gonna be charging students a bunch of money to learn from you, then it’s gotta be worth it…not like those colleges out there charging six-figures for kids to learn about underwater basket-weaving.

They need to enter into an industry where it’s not just the rare Brian Brewer who makes it big – there should be tons of winning businesses.

With affiliate marketing, that’s just not possible.

You’re facing off against the entire internet, all the time.

With Digital Leasing, you get to pick who you’re bringing customers to – ideally, it’s in your hometown, in a niche that makes sense and nearly guarantees a win.

If you live in Louisiana, a tree service company makes sense with all the hurricanes. If you live up north in Minnesota, a snow plowing company would be cool.

You get to decide, and all you’ve gotta do is find the right mentor to lift your business above a handful of lead generation companies around you – if there are any!

Almost sounds foolproof, if you ask me.

Who Is Brian Brewer?

Who Is Brian Brewer?

Brian Brewer is an affiliate marketing guru who, as I’ve mentioned a couple times, got his start learning from Dave Sharpe over at Legendary Affiliate. Given Sharpe’s reputation as a solid coach, this goes to show the power of a good mentor.

If a guy like Sharpe can help one of his students succeed in an awful industry like affiliate marketing, then imagine what a quality coach could do for you in an industry that’s got more opportunity to stack some cash for ya.

Considering some of the shady characters that I’ve come across in the affiliate marketing coaching world, I will admit that Brian Brewer is definitely not the worst guy.

He seems like a family man who loves to shoot guns and smoke cigars, which honestly seems pretty cool.

He’s been grinding in the affiliate marketing for years now and isn’t some teenage dropshipping guru just trying to score a quick buck. He’s a middle-aged man who probably understands that it doesn’t make sense to rip people off and get a bad reputation.

He does have a silly thing that he likes to promote: his patented L.D.T. Formula is what he claims sets him apart.

Learn.

Do.

Teach.

He has been throwing down a little “TM” icon next to it whenever he types it, which would be hilarious if he actually trademarked something like that. Very boomer move.

Other than that and the fact that affiliate marketing is basically an awful business model, Brewer isn’t the worst guru you could work with.

Maybe one day he’ll realize he can make even more money with Digital Leasing!

How Much Does Affiliate Escape Plan Cost?

how much does affiliate escape plan cost

Affiliate Escape Plan is mostly transparent in their pricing, which I like.

It’s gonna cost you $997 to get access to Brian Brewer’s course, along with lifetime access to coaching. It’ll set you back about $1,490 if you take the 10-month payment plan, but even then, that’s nothing compared to some affiliate programs I’ve seen that’ll charge you over $20,000!

Crazy stuff.

Anyway, it will cost you $6,000 more (as seen in the screenshot above) for two months of one-on-one coaching with Brian Brewer himself. While this is expensive, it isn’t that out of line with what most gurus charge for their time.

And of course, none of this is including the ClickFunnels service that’ll charge you $97/month for the basic bundle, or $297 per month for their premium offering…which means up to $3,564 every year in addition to whatever you’re paying Brian Brewer.

As the cherry on top, Brewer will eventually push you to join Legendary Marketer like he did, which will be at least another $2,500…

…suddenly, this ain’t so cheap after all.

Again, it’s probably better to just spend that money in a better industry without the hidden fees.

Affiliate Escape Plan Refund Policy

affiliate escape plan refund policy brian brewer

This one may be a little hard to swallow for some students who like the safety net of a 7, 14, 30, or even longer money-back refund window.

With Affiliate Escape Plan, it’s all gone. No refunds. Once you pay that money – barring extreme, tragic circumstances – it’s gone forever.

Be careful before investing this kind of money!

There are a lot of bad eggs out there, and this whole “scam or legit” question comes up a lot, especially when Brewer’s lead-in 90-Minute Affiliate Challenge sales pages advertises a “free course”.

Of course it’s free, but the whole premise is to get you hooked and then sell you on the real deal!

So…is Affiliate Escape Plan legit?

Well, Brian Brewer isn’t running a scam or anything.

You’ll definitely get some information, some real coaching, and I’m hoping you’ll actually learn a thing or two about affiliate marketing…

…but learning about affiliate marketing just seems like a waste of time.

Did you know that it takes months to see any of your earned commissions?

For some people, that kind of thing can be a deal breaker. There are bills to pay, mouths to feed, and waiting that long can be nerve-wracking. And if you’re selling low-priced products, you’re gonna have to sell a LOT of them to make any profits at all.

Tons of students enter these kinds of programs with high hopes, and leave with wasted time and an empty bank account.

Of course, if everything goes just right – maybe you can make six-figures like Brian Brewer!

But the odds will always be against you in an oversaturated field, plain and simple.

So keep your options open, and look around to see what else can give you some real financial freedom without having to fork over a big cut to your coach every time you make a sale.

Affiliate marketing got big about 10 years ago, which means you’re about 10 years too late…

…instead of trying to squeeze into a crammed elevator on the thirteenth floor, try to get in on the ground level and ride it all the way to the Penthouse Suite.

From what I can tell, Digital Leasing allows you to keep things local while still sitting back and watching the money roll in online. If you’re looking for that “next big thing”, this could be it.

Personal Opinion On Affiliate Escape Plan

90 minute affiliate challenge

It’s pretty clear that Brian Brewer knows a thing or two about marketing, but then again, Michael Jordan never coached an NBA team…

…which is to say, there is a big difference between Doing and Teaching.

So, what should you look out for when hunting for a program?

  • Think about if you can see yourself doing this for the rest of your life
  • Consider the guru you’ll be working with, and if it’s a right fit with their energy
  • See if there are any student reviews to make you feel better about buying

I’m not a big affiliate marketing guy, but you could do worse than AEP.

In fact, here are 3 things I like about their style:

  1. Brewer has made some money this way before
  2. The costs aren’t super high compared to some others
  3. Seems like they’re introducing a Done For You side to things

…and, on the other hand, 3 things I don’t really like:

  1. Affiliate marketing is so oversaturated
  2. Often don’t have many options on which products you’ll be selling
  3. Hard to find student reviews anywhere, which is odd

What’s Inside Affiliate Escape Plan?

whats inside affiliate escape plan

First thing’s first, if you’re like me you might have been confused by another course out there by the exact same name: a young coach by the name of Damien Belak is pushing his very own Affiliate Escape Plan and even seems to have his own links to Dave Sharpe’s Legendary Marketer…

…but from what I can tell, Belak and Brewer are not connected, and the programs are both separate affiliate marketing programs.

Now that we’ve got that covered, you may have some level of confusion with regards to the name of Brian Brewer’s program…after all, if you go to any of his social media pages (even the ones named after AEP), you might notice that he always links out to the 90 Minute Affiliate Challenge, and not the actualy AEP website.

So, let’s briefly discuss the differences between these two courses.

90 Minute Affiliate Challenge

90 minute challenge what is it

Alright, so the 90-Minute Affiliate Challenge is basically an intro to Brian Brewer’s main course.

You enter your info on his sales funnel, he sends a link to your email, and you’re in! It really is a free course, so there’s not a whole lot to lose, and you can always check out his YouTube channel for some more free content before Possibly wasting any time with this.

In the 90 Minute challenge, you’ll get 8 videos that unsurprisingly add up to about 90 minutes worth of content.

It’ll start off with going over some things about who Brian is and some hype/motivational videos, and then after a few of these warmups, he’ll actually get into the content:

Is Affiliate Marketing Any Good?

While I have my own opinions, Brian still thinks affiliate marketing is cool because of how easy it is to get started. I do agree with that – it’s not like Amazon FBA or dropshipping where you have to get all sorts of supply chains figured out.

He also dodges one of the typical problems with affiliate marketing – low profit margins. Apparently, Brian advises his students to go for high-ticket sales, as opposed to selling a lot of a little.

That said, if high-ticket sales were easy, everyone would do it.

How Many Products Should You Sell?

In this section, Brian talks about how he used to run four different sites selling four different products, and it ended up just making him work too hard and getting too distracted from just building up one great sales page.

I think there’s probably some wisdom to this, and clearly it worked for him.

How Many Funnels Do You Need?

If you’re following Brian’s advice to this point, then you’re only gonna need to worry about pitching one product, which is nice.

But how many funnels do you need?

brian brewer 2 page funnel

Brian thinks that you can use one or two funnels, whatever you prefer, but the main point of either is to build an email list (that you can send marketing emails to), and to send people to the website to hopefully buy a product.

If the sale is completed, you’ll get a commission…

…now your commissions can shift from 1% to 75% which is HUGE difference in revenue. Pay attention when you sign up to these kinda things.

What Kind Of Product Works Best?

Brian Brewer starts off explaining that you should really focus on staying away from physical products to avoid expenses like storage and shipping. I agree here, keeping it digital is usually best.

However, this is where Brian starts to seem a little slippery, in my opinion.

Any guesses what his recommendation is for his students to sell?

…his own course, the Affiliate Escape Plan.

This is where it gets a little tricky for me. He wants to enlist a student army to sell his own course, which just seems like a snake eating itself.

The students all give Brian their money to learn how to sell his own course, giving a big percentage of sales back to Mr. Brewer.

Are you starting to see why affiliate marketing isn’t my favorite recommendation when it comes to being your own boss?

Best Ways To Drive Traffic

This is the meat and potatoes of online marketing – getting people to click on what you’re selling.

So what’s the best way?

Brian recommends using social media, especially the kind that is short and to the point:

  • Facebook/Instagram reels
  • YouTube (preferably shorts)
  • TikTok

This makes sense, since today’s attention span is no where what it used to be. People will click somewhere else if you can’t keep their attention.

Brian lays out the following steps for how to shoot your videos:

  • Learn what you need to know about what you’ll be talking about
  • Share that knowledge with the audience
  • Attract clicks by being engaging
  • Refer people to the next step…the sales page

To Clone Or Not To Clone

cloning funnels brian brewer

That’s it for the educational part of the free 90 Minute Affiliate Challenge, but Brian Brewer does what a good salesman does before you leave – he tries to close you on a higher ticket sale.

He offers the opportunity to clone his funnel (which obviously worked to get you there) and get on the inside track to Affiliate Escape Plan.

Brian does say that you can become an affiliate of his on your own without buying his course, but he claims that it might take a while since he has a ton of “applications to sort through”…but if you pay for AEP, all of a sudden you’ll be approved as a Brian Brewer affiliate.

Well, that’s it. As you can see, the 90-Minute Affiliate Challenge is basically just something that covers the fundamentals of affiliate marketing, and is more or less one big pitch to join Brian Brewer’s higher ticket course.

Speaking of which, let’s dig into that.

Affiliate Escape Plan 2.0

affiliate escape plan 2.0

The layout of AEP is a little complicated, as there are 5 “Phases”, which are usually referred to as “modules” in these kind of programs.

To add to any confusion, the first phase is basically the entire core training for AEP 2.0. The other four phases are from the old version of AEP (1.0), and are basically just given new updates.

Phase One: Your First $100k

There are fourteen core lessons in Phase One, so buckle up and let’s plow through ’em!

Lesson 1: Crossing the Valley

can you really make money with affiliate marketing

This one is all about mindset.

Brian admits that there will be struggles and failures when it comes to affiliate marketing, and that it won’t be easy to become an affiliate marketing wizard like him.

He even has a chart to explain how you might be feeling during the process of failing with affiliate marketing:

  1. Uninformed optimism – buying the pitch, hoping for the pitch just because it sounds good.
  2. Informed pessimism – running into real problems that can’t be denied, start wondering if this is really gonna work or not.
  3. Valley of Despair – this is where most students will cut their losses and find something else in their money-making journey.
  4. Informed optimism – some small wins start trickling in, start to see hopes of actually getting out of debt with this whole affiliate marketing thing.
  5. Success – actually making a living through affiliate marketing.

As you can see, it’s a tricky thing to get through. Only very few students actually make it through to see any kind of money with affiliate marketing.

Lesson 2 : Why Affiliate Marketing?

This one is pretty obvious, it’s just a simple pitch on why people should give affiliate marketing a shot.

Brian Brewer likes to promote the model’s simplicity, how you just have to post links around the internet and hope people click it.

He points out that in other business models, you may have to do things like:

  • Fulfill orders on demand
  • Handle nitty-gritty problems when it comes to customer service
  • Deal with suppliers, including any delays

All of that sucks for sure, but again, Digital Leasing avoids all that stuff as well, but without all the struggles that comes along with affiliate marketing.

Lesson 3: Choosing Your Niche and Product Selection

affiliate escape plan niche

Brian says this is the most important part of the whole affiliate marketing industry, mostly because people have a hard time picking out the right niche for them.

In this lesson, he’ll help you pick the best niche that’ll work for you, year-round. He wants to avoid things like snow plow services that might not be needed for most of the year.

His top 3 niches are:

  1. Wealth
  2. Health
  3. Relationships

These are pretty broad areas to focus on, and not really “niches”.

I’m not sure I’m entirely on board with Brian’s pitch here, because he says things like this, and then turns around and strongly suggests you spend your life selling his course…sure, I guess that covers the “wealth” niche, but it feels a little weird.

If you ask me, I think you need to actually do something you care about. It doesn’t have to be your favorite thing – it’s hard to make a lot of money for drinking beer or smoking cigars, for example – but you should at least care about what’s going on.

That’s why I like local lead generation, you can have more control and help small businesses around your town or city. This both gives you something to have more pride in, and helps reduce competition.

Because think about what you might be in for if you go down the affiliate marketing path…working on a sales funnel, putting out a ton of ads on social media, and not seeing a dime for a year.

If you don’t have a passion for the niche on top of all that struggling, there’s no way you’ll last.

Make the right decision.

Lesson 4: Copy and Messaging Success

This is where Brian tries to teach his students about finding consistency as they go with their new affiliate marketing business.

You wanna reduce the amount of luck you’re banking on with this thing. Chucking a ton of links around the internet and just hoping they score some clicks isn’t likely to make you rich.

Brian insists that it all comes down to these three factors:

  1. Attraction and Introduction – catch the reader/viewer up on what they might not know about the product, get them hooked.
  2. Conversion Sequence – once the fish is on the lure, pull hard! Convince them why they won’t be able to make it any other way.
  3. Sale – watch the dollar signs roll in.

Lesson 5: The 6-Figure Framework for Converting Leads

Even though Brian offers for you to be able to clone his funnel page, he also has a whole section here on how you can whip up a 2-pager wep page.

He also calls this a “bridge” page, walking your potential client across the bridge from the wild-west internet to the safety of your sales funnel….

This is where he will give you some instruction on how to use some sample templates eh has for you:

  • funnel clones
  • sample sales scripts
  • email follow-up templates

While some of this might be useful, he also hits you with a sneak-attack of hidden fees you will have to pay if you wanna be able to set up a proper sales funnel.

clickfunnels affiliate escape plan

This is no cheap proposition, since the premium package could set you back $3,564 every year!

This is mandatory for every AEP student, and of course, Brian Brewer gets an affiliate commission.

Lesson 6: Traffic and “Omnipresence”

“Omnipresence”…that’s a fancy word. It basically means how to be everywhere all at once.

This is about social media and how to run effective ads on them to drive more clicks to your sales funnel.

This part of the course focuses on:

  • Facebook/IG reels
  • YouTube shorts
  • TikTok

It seems that even though Brian Brewer may be middle aged, he knows that these short-attention-span media outlets are what you need if you wanna get your affiliate marketing up and booming.

it’s fairly well known that China’s TikTok has been manipulating impressionable viewers for a while with their short-form videos, so Instagram and YouTube (and to some extent Facebook), have been trying to make sure they don’t lose too much of the market by boosting their Reels and Shorts, respectively.

Go ahead, try posting a long-form YouTube video these days, and then compare it with a similar short video…they are pushing these shorter formats way up in their algorithm, which shows you all you need to know.

Lesson 7: Social Media Strategies

This kind of feels like a filler lesson, since it’s basically the same as the last one.

However, in lesson 7, he dives into his predictions for each form of customer outreach:

  • He thinks YouTube has done a good job adapting to TikTok, and will probably stick around a very long time
  • Brian has concerns about TikTok’s long-term value, especially since it often comes up as a security risk to the USA; however, he admits it’s great for right now
  • Facebook groups are another good relationship builder; this one is weird because it seems Brian has abandoned his public Facebook page for years now.
  • Email is concrete; it will basically never go away as long as the internet exists

Lesson 8: YouTube Advice

AEP YouTube channel brian brewer

Brian likes to hype up YouTube as “the most powerful media tool” for drawing in the right traffic to buy your products…but the funny thing is (as you can see above), even Brewer himself has struggled to build a following over one thousand.

If a guru who claims to know YouTube inside and out is struggling with his channel, then how are you supposed to compete by learning from him?

His last video (as of this writing) was over a year ago, and has less than a thousand views…

…this is why in addition to getting the right industry down, you also need to make sure you pick the right mentor who can really elevate your game.

Lesson 9: TikTok Tips

While Brian acknowledges that TikTok may not be around forever with its alleged security risks against the USA, he also says it’s great to use it in the meantime.

The Chinese-based app is very fast-paced and known for its ability to keep users hooked. One downside is you have to have over 1k followers if you wanna put any links up…which is, you know, very important for an affiliate marketer.

Here are some tips from Brian Brewer:

  • Find out what successful TikTokers are doing and copy them
  • Don’t just ramble on, come up with some kind of story within each video
  • If you ever get asked questions about affiliate marketing or the product you’re selling, make a video about it

Brian then provides a 3-step TikTok process:

  1. Hook – “wanna make some passive income online?”
  2. Story – tell your followers how easy it was for you, and how good things are now
  3. Offer – this is where you tell them that they have to click your link to win big as well

At the end of the day, lessons 6-9 all cover social media, and some of it feels like they could be merged. I like to avoid filler, and saying “hey guys I’ve got 14 lessons” when it could really be 10-12 is a little misleading.

Lesson 10: Connecting With Your Audience

This one is all about being able to personally connect with the people who will be watching your videos/ads around the internet.

Catchphrases and buzzwords will only go so far. If you wanna stand out among the crowd and really make a splash, then you need to tell your own unique tale of how you got here, and why it’s working for you.

If people connect with what you’re saying, then you’re more likely to win over their trust.

Lesson 11: Close The Deal

After you gain the trust of your audience, be sure to close the deal and point them in the direction of your sales funnel.

Again, this feels like it could have been included in the previous lesson, as it’s not really too complicated.

I’m really thinking this course is more of a 5-10 lesson thing rather than a 14 lesson experience, which is fine…I just don’t like silly filler nonsense.

Lesson 12: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

7 habits of highly effective people

So…this lesson is all about how much Brian Brewer likes this book from Stephen R. Covey.

Listen, I understand that this book could be valuable, and offer decent insight into what can help you build proper mindset…but is it really worth a whole lesson of Brewer’s affiliate marketing program?

I dunno about that.

Filler?

Lesson 13: The Slight Edge

Filler.

This makes it back-to-back “lessons” where I am sure Brewer discusses some useful ideas, but he’s directly referencing two separate books for two separate lessons on mindset. I think he could have just included the books at the end of the course as part of his reading recommendations, personally.

And now, for the grand finale…

Lesson 14: Overcoming Objections

In this lesson, Brian Brewer gets into how to handle people who question the validity of what you’re offering, or maybe even people like me who poke holes in the affiliate marketing industry based on some bad experiences in the past…

…and then he pitches Legendary Marketer.

Yes, it appears that this lesson is actually just a way to pitch yet another program.

You see, when you become an affiliate marketer under someone else, you’re basically stuck with that program for life. That’s why even though Brian has branched out and started his own courses, he still refers people back to Dave Sharpe’s Legendary Marketer program.

Kinda makes me wonder if you just paid Brian Brewer a bunch of money to learn how he’s selling you on another affiliate program.

But now you’re “14 lessons deep” and paid up a chunk of change, so it’s hard to admit you might have been tricked out of another $2,500.

The good news is – if you’re still reading this – now is the time to change your direction in life. Don’t be beholden to any affiliate program for the rest of your left…be your own boss.

AEP Update

Alright, so that was a TON of info on what is your primary content for AEP 2.0.

As I mentioned before all that, that section is just one out of five “phases” for the AEP program…but the other four are just updates on the original AEP course, so let’s briefly go over what these other sections have to offer.

  • Phase Two: You Are Your First Avatar
  • Phase Three: Mindset, Motivation, and Momentum
  • Phase 4: Conversion Optimization and Omnipresence
  • Phase 5: AutomatedConversions at Scale

Affiliate Escape Plan Review: Conclusion

Well, we finally made it to the end!

So, should you buy into the Affiliate Escape Plan?

Probably not.

I started off thinking Brian Brewer was a little different from some of the other affiliate marketers out there, and I do think he’s still not nearly as bad as a lot of them…

…but do you really want “not nearly as bad”?

This is your livelihood, and both the business model and mentor will decide your fate, along with your work ethic.

There are all kinds of hidden fees with affiliate marketing that are not unique to Brewer’s program either.

How about you just try something that’s proven, to-the-point, without any weird strings attached?

Give Digital Leasing a shot before it becomes too oversaturated…can you imagine getting into affiliate marketing 10 years ago when there was still a ton of opportunity.

That’s where lead generation is now, and there’s at least one company that stands out, in my opinion.

What’s My #1 Way To Make Money In 2024?

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online - Digital Leasing

I’ve spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business,” the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online or been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full-time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Brian Brewer, you don’t really own anything.

You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own customers.

Look at the fine print for affiliate marketing terms and conditions. At any point, the company you’re working with can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

And then your tens of thousands of dollars are all down the drain, because these guys are usually heavily legally protected by their terms and conditions.

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Affiliate Escape Plan swings way in the opposite direction – you’ll have to invest a ton of time and energy before seeing a dime…if you ever make a profit, of course.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple of keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

This is basically the opposite of AEP.

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 monthly in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with affiliate marketing, you’d have to double your traffic, double the average order size of each customer, OR double your commission rate.

In other words, doubling your expenses, time, and money spent on this thing.

And, guaranteed, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Affiliate Escape Plan, you’re selling the product with the best commission rate, NOT the one that will improve most people’s lives.

And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.

But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Brian Brewer’s affiliate marketing, which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms, thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
