Stupid Simple SEO Review (Updated [year]): Is Mike Futia The Best At SEO Blogging?

Introduction

Mike Futia thinks he knows Search Engine Optimization (SEO) better than anyone else out there, and he wants to use that knowledge to take your blogging game to the next level.

His course's name is a good one, "Stupid Simple Seo"...but is SEO really that simple?

It can be when the right coach is leading, but we'll have to dig in and see if Mike Futia has what it takes to overcome SEO's reputation as complicated and tricky to master.

Speaking of SEO, it's probably what brought you to our article. We're a blog, after all, and we know how to get our articles to the top of Google's search algorithm. So it would seem you came to the right place to get some help figuring out if SEO courses are worth it or not.

But BEFORE you went searching up Mike Futia and his Stupid Simple SEO course, you probably saw one of his ads on social media, right? Something hyping up his ability to analyze keyword data, analyze backlink data, and all that fun, SEO-optimized stuff.

To the average Joe, that sounds boring and dry as heck...but for someone who understands the Google SEO game, I understand the attraction.

And now you're clicking around, trying to figure out if this guy's actually worth it. You might even be looking up some of Mike's competitors like Iman Gadzhi!

Luckily for you, I've written a blog post or two (thousand) about all kind of stuff - everything from best affiliate marketing niches to how to become a real estate investor. In other words, I've been through this kind of thing before, and I know who the good guys look like...along with some warning signs on the folks just trying grab a little money from ya.

So, what I'll do for ya is go through the pros and cons of what Mike Futia has to offer with his keyword ideas, we'll check out how much all this costs, and then I'll compare his program to some other alternatives.

Sound good?

Alright, then let's kickoff our Stupid Simple SEO Review!

DISCLAIMER:

This Stupid Simple SEO review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Learning SEO tools not only helps bloggers, but it also means you can learn other high-upside plays like local lead generation.
  • If all you want to do is boost your blog's rank in search engines, then that means you need SEO training - unless you wanna bleed money in less-effective paid ads.
  • The pricing isn't awful, which means you can save money for other business investments if you're interested.
CONS
  • Very hard to find real student testimonials out there on pages like BBB or Trustpilot, which means you'll be taking a risk with SSS.
  • Their refund policy is full of holes, which means you might have to claw and fight for your money back if anything goes wrong.
  • Unlike learning how to operate an SEO agency or lead gen agency, Mike seems to only focus on blogging - which means you may be leaving some money on the table.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - What's The Verdict On Blueprint Training?

what is stupid simple seo

Stupid Simple SEO is a - you guessed it - Search Engine Optimization program ran by a guy named Nike Futia.

He uses his SEO training to help you turn your blog into an affiliate marketing empire overnight. Basically, you find a niche that can make you money (cars, fashion, finance), and post links throughout it where you can make money from it if someone clicks through and buys something.

These commissions can range from 1-75%, which means there is a wide array of outcomes. And these cuts can change, often out of your control, which is why I'm not the biggest fan of affiliate marketing.

That said, I do love the world of SEO, so Mike Futia's SSS is on the right track there - but he misses a few key things that I think other courses do really well.

Mike is onto something in his belief that organic search traffic is the way to go. Not only does it save you money on paid ads expenses every month, but it actually works better than paid ads anyway!

But is his SSS program worth it?

Maybe.

For a start, while he doesn't post much on his YouTube account lately, there are still a ton of older free videos out there from Mike. And that's just one account.

So what you have to do is figure out if you're able to really get enough info on nitty-gritty stuff like guest post links from all that free content, or if you need to dive into the next level with the SSS program.

It might be a little different for everyone, frankly.

Some people are self-starters who get things done without much help, while others prefer a strong mentor to help guide them to success.

There's no shame in either - as long as you've actually picked a strong mentor! There's nothing more frustrating than wasting time and money on a guru who just doesn't work for you, even if they pick a solid industry like teaching SEO.

Another interesting thing to think about is what exactly you're blogging for? Maybe it's for something that's been generating you some solid income. But if you've been struggling, finding it hard to hit targets, and are starting to wonder if there's a stronger business model out there...

...maybe there is.

I found out about something called Digital Leasing, and it's an absolute game-changer. They teach all sorts of SEO knowledge, and then use it to bring in clients to local businesses. And, of course, all businesses love new customers, so they keep paying you every month!

It's a pretty sweet deal, and it's one of those rare things where if you do it right, you actually could do it all from the beach one day once you put the early work in.

The Digital Leasing students seem extremely passionate about what they're doing - not just getting by, but creating their own future.

Digital Leasing Legit

Now, if you'd like to hear more about my Stupid Simple SEO review, then let's get back to it.

Who Benefits From Stupid Simple SEO...And Who Doesn't?

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment2/5Takes a lot of time to get going - sleepless nights, sore necks. Trust me!
Level of Control2/5Commissions can fluctuate on the affiliate marketing side.
Ease of Implementation3/5SEO is easy enough once you figure it out...hard making money with affiliate marketing though.
Profit Potential3/5The SEO part is solid for profits, but the affiliate marketing-only focus loses a little for me.

Growing up, did you ever think a Google search could be so powerful?

What seemed like a cool little toy as a kid now decides how billions of dollars move every day, between ad spending, search results determining who buys what and where.

The thing about these kind of programs is that they can deliver a ton of value, but they have to be done right. If you have a great coach with tons of charisma, but he's in the wrong business model, then it's not very useful.

On the flip side, if a course is focused on a really good way of making money, but the coach just isn't the right energy level for you, that won't work either.

It can be tricky out there, but I'm gonna help you find the right fit.

SSS might be for you if...

  1. Your blog promotes a quality business model and just needs a boost
  2. You're looking for something that doesn't cost too much but might be able to help
  3. You've tried all the free stuff, but just want a little more in-depth analysis

On the other hand, it probably doesn't make sense to join it if...

  1. You are looking to upgrade your business model AND pair that with SEO
  2. You'd like a guru with a stronger online presence; Mike doesn't post much
  3. You understand that SEO factors change all the time, so the material may become redundant

All in all, I'd say the SSS program is for people who have interests in certain niches like:

  • Restaurants/food
  • The latest in cutting-edge technology
  • Travel and tourism
  • Fitness + health
  • Trends in fashion
  • Photography and videography

Basically, you have to have some real interests, and you shouldn't be easily scared off by "techie" language.

On the other hand, if you wanna expand your knowledge on things like marketing or your writing craft in general, then SSS doesn't really get into all that and you should probably look elsewhere.

Mike Futia's course is anything but a "quick-hitter".

You're gonna have to commit to a year or more of growing your blog, and that means a TON of writing. You're gonna need somewhere between 100-200 articles for Google to start taking you more seriously.

It kinda takes a special person to both have a sense of creativity, but also understanding the rigid order that SEO falls under...well, it's at least rigid until Google changes things again, which means you also have to stay adaptable.

Stupid Simple SEO At A 1,000 FT View

stupid simple seo mike futia

Learning Search Engine Optimization skills is one of the best things you can do for yourself as an online entrepreneur. In fact, some people just go out and start their own SEO agencies and focus entirely on that!

While some operations focus on teaching students about how to run an agency, Mike Futia is perfectly fine with whatever business model or product you choose to promote - as long as you have a blog than needs SEO help.

I think that's a bit of a black hole here as far as the program is concerned. You can boost someone's SEO ranks all day long, but at the end of the day, a dropshipping blog is gonna have WAY different results than a local lead generation blog.

Think about it: if an industry is dying out and disappear, then it won't really matter how well your SEO works if less people are searching for "Amazon FBA courses" in general.

It would be nice if Mike's SSS program advised his students of which industries work and which don't, but that's not what you're gonna get with this program.

Oh, and you're gonna have to have some patience if you're gonna go purely down the SEO path. While some mentors have a process that can get you up and operating faster, it seems that Mike expects it to take his students at least 3 months for Google to properly rank your new stuff on the first page.

That's a huge difference!!

Here's a few things that Google takes into account when establishing your SEO status:

  • How long your website has been around for
  • Your page's "Domain Authority", which is basically how legit Google thinks you are
  • How high quality the writing is on your blog post
  • How good your keyword game is
  • Whether your site is safe and secure, or if it may be vulnerable to harmful malware
  • The speed it takes to navigate around your website

So, to be clear:

Mike's business model is all about SEO, although he does offer "Stupid Simple SEO bonuses" that include affiliate marketing tips.

Personally, I'd prefer if he took the bull by the horns and was more of a firm mentor, figuring out the best things to blog about as well. Instead, he seems to be fine with just finding the best niches to get clicks, and letting the students do whatever they want (likely some kind of affiliate marketing).

On the flip side, I'll recommend you try out this Digital Leasing thing. It's pretty cool, and you will learn everything about SEO that you'd learn from Mike Futia anyway - except they take you one step further and actually put it to good use with lead generation.

Instead of paying for multiple programs and taking more time out of your life, why not just hit two birds with one stone?

Who Is Mike Futia?

who is mike futia mike pearson

There are a few weird stories about Mike Futia out there, with the strangest one being that he used to use a fake name!

Apparently, he once went by "Mike Pearson", which was a plan to avoid being caught building an online business while still working in his corporate 9-5!

Mike actually worked for the controversial drug company Pfizer for nearly a decade, working with things like analytics, which seems to be a good fit for him transitioning over to SEO full-time.

He actually worked for Pfizer until 2021, and before that he was a paralegal at a law firm in New York City. His secret affiliate marketing started in 2016, and he quickly took a liking to being his own boss, selling his site for six figures.

He realized he could probably keep doing this for a living, so he quit his job and decided to make even more money by selling his advice through his Stupid Simple SEO program.

It's an interesting career he's had. I'm glad he has separated himself from big pharmaceutical companies, and I hope he's able to help people in the future.

What's The Stupid Simple SEO Price?

stupid simple seo price

So, how much does Stupid Simple SEO cost?

While Mike does offer some free training, his main course can be bought for $497 or $588 on a payment plan.

This is a relatively cheap course, so I'm curious just how deep it all gets.

He also has a side program that he'll pitch ya called "Nichefinder.io", where you'll charge you another $297.

Altogether, The Stupid Simple SEO price point could be closer to $1,000, which is still not a terrible deal.

Stupid Simple SEO Refund Policy

stupid simple seo refund policy

This refund policy is all over the place, in my opinion.

Mike Futia starts off promising a 30-day money back guarantee, and then his terms and conditions gets confusing. First, he lays out all kinds of steps you'll have to go through if you wanna get your money back, but then (as you can see in the screenshot above) they have the out of saying "all refunds are discretionary".

In legal language, that means they can actually do whatever they want on a case-by-case basis.

If you hand over your cash to Mike Futia, don't expect to get it back without a fight!

Personal Opinion On Stupid Simple SEO

mike futia google ranks seo

SEO is critical to making money online, if you wanna do it the right way.

Organic traffic not only saves you money in comparison to paid ads, but it also performs better.

But when you're picking a course or a guru, they have to check all the right boxes. After all, learning something the wrong way can totally alter someone's path in life.

You can learn chemistry and figure out how to make cars run on water...or you can cook drugs with that knowledge like on Breaking Bad! It all depends on the way you learned it, and who guided you along.

So, what are some things to consider when you're on the lookout?

  • See if the course just covers the technical stuff, or offers more about starting a business
  • Think about if the guru's energy lines up with what works for you
  • Ask yourself: do you feel like you're ready to start a business after learning this?

Mike Futia's not the worst coach out there, as far as I can tell at least.

In fact, how about a quick 3 things I like about his program:

  1. Offers free YouTube content and an intro course, so you can "test-drive"
  2. He's lived the corporate experience, and still chose the online business life
  3. He offers a private Facebook group for students

...and, in all fairness, here are 3 things I don't really like:

  1. He doesn't guide students into any particular business model
  2. Weird refund policy
  3. Mike basically takes you all the up to the lead generation door, then doesn't walk in

Is Stupid Simple SEO Legit Or Not?

Social PagesLink
InstagramSource
Twitter/XSource
YouTubeSource

Sometimes you've gotta weigh it all out, looking at the red lights and green lights of a company to figure out what's really going on, and if it's really worth your time and money.

...people often ask, is Stupid Simple SEO legit?

Well, Mike Futia isn't a scam artist or anything like that.

Usually a scam is something where someone will take your money and leave you empty-handed when it comes to any kind of goods or services provided.

Mike seems to really know and care about SEO stuff, and I think he could provide some value if that's the kind of info you're after.

But do I think his program is up their with the top dogs when it comes to making money online?

Probably not.

He gets a lot right, but at the end of the day he won't really help you "land the plane" when it comes to figuring out which business model to excel with.

This is what Digital Leasing does so well. They don't leave you hanging in the balance - they've got a mentor who pushes you to not only master SEO, but to build an empire for yourself in the world of local lead generation.

It's easy to feel lost in the world of making money online, so why make things harder than they need to be?

Score some financial freedom, and make it easy on yourself!

What's Inside Stupid Simple SEO?

whats inside stupid simple seo

As you might already know from some of your own research, Mike Futia offers a bunch of free info on his YouTube page about SEO and basically gives an intro to what's in his course.

He also provides some other free content in his SEO Bootcamp, where he says you'll learn things like:

  • Using SEO to drive traffic and stack some cash
  • Why picking the right niche can boost your bottom line with Google
  • "Domain Authority" and why it matters a ton
  • Keyword research
  • How to create quality content that hits the front page

...but really, the goal of all this stuff is to get you to opt-in to his paid, full course.

With Stupid Simple SEO, you'll get a bunch of important things like:

  • Key strategies to separate you from your competition
  • Keyword research tips and tricks
  • How to audit your own content to make sure it's top-notch
  • Backlinking 101

I'd assume and hope that that some interactions with Mike himself and/or some coaches help make it worthwhile as well.

I do know for sure that you'll be getting 10 modules along with 12 "bonus features", which are basically just extra modules that Futia is promoting to sound fancy.

Anyway, let's dig deeper into this course and see if Stupid Simple SEO really has what you need:

Module 0

stupid simple seo ahrefs

This is where Mike Futia's students will take on the fundamentals of what his Stupid Simple SEO course has to offer.

There are eight different videos inside, teaching things like:

  • How to become an affiliate marketer, revealing Futia's preferred way of making money
  • Highlighting the difference between Ahrefs and UberSuggest, two different SEO software tools
  • Mike gets into how you should best track your SEO progress

This all starts off with Mike Futia pointing you toward affiliate marketing as the best way to make money from your SEO endeavor, which isn't my favorite point.

Affiliate marketing can be a little dry with low profit margins (and commissions as low as 1% to as high as 75%), so it's not my favorite in the slightest.

As for the software, keep in mind that whatever Futia recommends means he likely receives an affiliate marketing cut from them, so he may not recommend the best option for you as much as it'll be about giving him a cut.

Modules 1+2

I'm just gonna combine these two modules since they share a lot of crossover. Sometimes one subject crosses over into the next and it's just best to separate them, and other times this kinda thing can be seen as "filler" to stretch out the course longer - justifying the cost.

Here's what you'll dig into with Mike Futia:

  • Keywords are the key here, and Mike goes into the importance of competitor research
  • How to figure out a competitor analysis spreadsheet
  • Keyword data analysis
  • How to identify your competition via Google
  • "Finalizing your competition" systematically
  • Develop a content strategy

Some people consider competitor research "spying on your rivals in the most ethical way", which isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as you do it right.

It's important to know what you're up against in times of war...or in sports leagues...or basically any industry of business, really. Mike Futia understands that, and it's a huge part of these modules.

As for his "content strategy", this is basically a way of explaining what you're gonna wanna write about, how often you'll do it, and the style in which you're gonna do it.

It's gonna be something you'll be writing about over and over again for hundreds of posts, so it better be something more interesting than spatulas or you'll be feeling a little rough after a while!

Modules 3+4

stupid simple seo mike futia instagram

Another situation of two modules that basically have the same things in both - and that's entirely cool, as long as both have value instead of wasting time and space.

The big focus here is "content strategies", something that was touched on in the last two module, but will be repeated again a little differently here. You'll figure out stuff like:

  • A "proven framework" that helps act as something like a template for writers' content
  • The importance of keeping your readers happy, and willing to keep on reading
  • "Primary intent vs Secondary intent"
  • Finding the right keywords and knowing when and where to use 'em

This is all good stuff, as long as you keep the template as just a template and don't copy it too much - Google will pick up that kinda stuff with ease.

Some readers will just be coming in to skim and go, but others will be looking for a deep dive to decide whether or not they should be investing with whatever it is you decide to pitch them.

Strategy is everything.

Module 5

Stupid Simple SEO's fifth module is different enough that I won't bother grouping it together with the next one.

There are 6 videos in this module, and it primarily talks about doing a "content audit". Mike Futia explains this as basically figuring out which pages are losing traffic and not closing sales, and how you can plug those holes before your ship sinks.

He gets into how you can improve certain problems, and knowing when to just move on from certain pages that are dragging your entire site down.

Futia also pitches the Yoast SEO plugin, one of his various affiliate relationships that he likes to sprinkle in throughout his lessons.

A true hustler never stops!

Module 6

mike futia is he mike pearson

So you wanna be a boss, huh?

Then you'll have to learn how to become an authoritative master of your domain, in that case...

...or at least sound like you are.

Here's some things that Mike's SSS will teach you in module 6:

  • How to produce quality content that Google defines as "expert-level"
  • Ways you can convince your reader that you are trustworthy in the world of writing
  • Exploring ways on how you can get the Google Search Quality Evaluator to prop you up in the rankings

In case you didn't notice, all three of those points are kind of the same. This one is a little redundant after a while, but in the end, it's gonna help you beat out your competition if Mike Futia teaches it correctly.

Module 7

This module is all about backlinks.

These are one of the pillars of engineering a great page for SEO - providing little links throughout that will bring people to other places around your website.

He goes over domain authority again, which runs the risk of being considered filler, but backlinking is worth its own module if Futia goes in-depth about it.

You'll get 5 videos in this module, which should give you plenty of explanation of how it all works.

Frankly, the more that I think about it...this is a lot of time to spend on simply copying and pasting links from your own website.

Might be a little bit of filler, I guess.

Modules 8+9

These two modules dive into the world of "link building":

  • You'll learn about "guest posting" which means you let someone from another site post on your blog and give links to their page, which is a favor that is usually returned on their site as well
  • HARO is a huge part of this module - Help A Reporter Out
  • When it comes to HARO, you will figure out how you can get better-performing links for you
  • If you've ever seen a blog with "as seen on", or "featured in" places like Forbes, then that was probably HARO

Of course, Mike Futia says he will help you find the best tools to land the best HARO deals, and his team will help you talk to the reporter if you get a response.

All in all, these modules will give you 10 lessons on how to use all these tactics to give you an edge on your competition.

Bonuses?

stupid simple seo make a course

Alright, we made it to the end of the modules!

Right?

Well, kind of.

You see, sometimes gurus will say they have "10 modules and then some really cool bonuses!" or something like that. But to me, a bonus should be something that you get in addition to what you're paying for, or should be a limited time offer, or something like that.

But that's not what's going on here.

These are just things that every person gets if they pay Futia for the course, and there's no limit on the time they're available for...

...so, it's basically just a fancy way of extending the course, and marketing it so that people feel like they're getting something nice.

Anyway, here they are - whatever they are!

Bonus One: 6 Figure Marketing Formula

In this "bonus", Mike Futia goes into how you can make your blog into a hive of affiliate marketing, which is odd because he doesn't explicitly mention his interest in affiliate too often on his website - he just markets the SEO side of things.

I think SEO is great, and it works in a ton of great industries, but affiliate marketing is just an industry that's oversaturated and really requires something different to succeed.

Anyway, he focuses a lot on the art behind a sales funnel here, which is something that really matters if you're gonna get into affiliate marketing...without it, you won't make any sales, which means you won't make any money.

The way Futia wants you to think about your sales funnel is through "user intent", which means figuring out why your reader is there, and what they're after.

In his 6-figure affiliate marketing formula, he's gonna help you find the keywords and writing styles that'll make you the most money possible.

Sounds good, if it all works according to plan!

Bonus Two: Mastering MediaVine Advertisements

mediavine mike futia

This one is a little more cut-and-dry than the first bonus.

In bonus two, Mike Futia pitches you on what you should choose to punch up your website with SEO and AND paid advertisements.

A video from MediaVine's Eric Hochberger is featured here, and you can expect that Futia will get a nice commission for every student he gets to sign up through his affiliate link.

That doesn't mean it's a bad product, but I figure it's good to have full transparency when it comes to this kinda thing.

Bonus Three: Site Speed For Bloggers

Have you ever clicked onto a site and thought something was up with your internet because it wouldn't load?

Now, if you're really committed to the website (something like feeding your addiction to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram etc...) then you might try re-loading a few times.

But if you just clicked around and got there basically by random chance? Unless you're a really obsessive person like me, then you probably won't be that determined to keep trying to deal with a slow, laggy website.

This bonus is taught by someone named Grayson Bell, who is a notorious pro at getting sites running smooth with the latest strategies.

After all, it makes no sense to waste time writing quality content if no one's ever gonna be able to load the site to read it!

Bonus Four: Sponsored Post Scaling

tracie fobes stupid simple seo

A woman named Tracie Fobes helps teach this bonus module of expanding your reach by paying for sponsored posts on social media.

This will set you back in monthly expenses, of course, but it might help give you a solid boost of new faces to your blog.

Bonus Five: Niche Site Explosion

Alright, I gotta admit...that's a pretty cool name for a bonus.

It sounds like a metal band for SEO geeks! "Niche Site Explosion, with their latest album, Authority Master!"

This one comes back to Mike Futia, and he takes this time to figure out which niche blogs will bring in the most money for you, while giving your readers the vibe of a really professional website.

He goes back to talking about content strategy again here, re-emphasizing how important it is that Google believes your website has a strong authority on the internet.

Lastly, this "bonus" module goes into the importance of hiring a great team of writers around you. I think this is interesting, even though it isn't something you'll come up with right away.

You'll have to make sure you have a really good team of writers, without being too cheap and getting the least expensive you can find on Fiverr.

The reason I say that is that I've read plenty of articles from those types of blogs, and trust me, you can tell they don't even speak English have the time.

Finding the right people who can help churn out the articles while keeping quality high will definitely help you focus on the bigger picture, running the business, while those under you handle the nitty-gritty work that'll really be the first thing a reader sees when they stumble onto your page.

Bonus Six: Site Structuring

Mike has a very specific way he structures his sites, so in this "free lesson" (that you paid for), he'll give you some examples of layouts that work for him, including areas of the site like category pages that'll make it easier for your readers to find what they're after

This one probably seems redundant, but hey...it's free!

Bonus Seven: KeySearch Keyword Tool

If there's anything Mike Futia likes, it's selling products with affiliate marketing links - even if it's during a course about selling affiliate marketing links!

This one in particular is called KeySearch, and apparently it's a powerful way of "establishing an SEO Powerhouse". I do agree in general that if you're gonna be writing a blog, then you need to know what keywords are all about, and which ones are needed.

Futia claims that this thing is one of the cheapest keyword tools out there, so it'll cost you less than other keyword tools that he wouldn't get any commission for selling.

Bonus Eight: Google Search Console

google search console stupid simple seo

While Mike Futia has been promoting tools and tricks to make things work the best for you and your blog, he doesn't think you should really take any shortcuts when it comes to increasing organic traffic - he wants you to use the Google Search Console directly.

In this bonus module, he guides you through three videos of the ins and outs of this whole thing.

It will give you a ton of insight, so it's important to have a good handle on how to use this tool.

Bonus Nine: Let Other People Grow Your SEO

Even though Mike Futia just went over the importance of hiring a team of writers under his 5th bonus (remember the Niche Site Explosion?!), he thinks it's so critical that he should repeat himself once again.

You've gotta scale up your traffic if you wanna make more money, but you've also gotta make sure you don't spend too much money...but you've also gotta make sure your quality doesn't suffer, either.

Virtual assistants are often people from other countries who lack English skills, so even if they have great work ethic and work for cheap, you've gotta make sure to find the right people to make up your team.

English-speaking writers may cost a little more, but if the writers can make it seem like they actually know about (and care about) the products you're selling, then you won't have to type up another article again - leaving you with your choice of free time, or using that time to come up with more money-making ideas.

Bonus Ten: Advanced Ahrefs

I told you about this program all the way back in Module 0, which must feel like a lifetime ago, huh?

Basically, it's another affiliate program that Mike Futia gets a cut from, and this time he goes into even greater depth on ways the Ahrefs software can boost your website's traffic activity.

You get 6 lessons in total this time.

Bonus Eleven: Competitor Backlink Analysis

This bonus is about backlinks.

Does it feel like Groundhog Day to anyone else? You know, that Bill Murray movie where he has to keep living the same day over and over again?

Mike Futia is definitely guilty of some filler by this point, but at least he gives his bonus another fancy name: Advanced Link Building Lessons.

This one will get you the best intel on your rivals' backlinks to see what they're doing right and doing wrong.

Mike gives you some times on making spreadsheets and merging them, all the nitty-gritty stuff.

Bonus 12— Selling Your Site For A Ton Of Money

When Mike Futia first started making these blog sites, he made sure to sell 'em when they gained enough value, and then went to work on his next operation.

Here, he teams up with one last affiliate (from EmpireFlippers.com) named Greg, who will pitch you on how he can help you sell your website at peak value, no questions asked.

Well, actually there will be many questions asked. But it should all be pretty easy.

Conclusion Of My Stupid Simple SEO Review

mike futia is he a scam or legit

Wow, that was a way deeper dive than I was expected.

So, after all that, should you fork over your money to Mike Futia?

Eh, probably not.

Mike clearly understands this industry, and he has a very solid grasp on the SEO world...

...but in the end, he keeps pushing his students toward affiliate marketing.

And affiliate marketing kinda sucks.

The course, as you might have noticed, has a lot of strong points, but also has a ton of filler. And while the price for the course is not bad, your personal costs start to creep up more and more with each affiliate product that Mike tells his students they're gonna need to succeed with his program.

What affiliate marketing does is take a lot of time.

You won't get any money from any affiliate sales for over a month at a minimum, so you'd better be ready to do a lot of waiting. And that's on top of your 3-18 month wait for your site to rank anyway.

On the other hand, local lead generation is something where you can get your business off the ground pretty fast if you have the right guru.

I like the mentor over at Digital Leasing. He seems to help students who are just starting out with no experience, all the way up to seasoned veterans who just want a solid boost to get their business off to the next level.

It takes all the best parts about learning SEO, and leaves out the worst parts of affiliate marketing.

And if all goes well, it's got the kind of upside where you might even be able to work from the beach...

What's My #1 Way To Make Money In 2024?

Digital Leasing

I have spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Mike Futia's program, you don’t really own anything.

You're just sitting around, linking out to other people's products all day, hoping for a bite. Oh, and let's not forget that your commissions can be changed at any moment...

With Digital Leasing (a passive income stream), you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

With Stupid Simple SEO, you're learning SEO just to learn how to do affiliate marketing, which seems like a waste of a good talent!

It's like someone is the fastest runner in school, then decides to play golf.

And if you wanna double your income with Mike Futia, you'll have to double your blog posts, double your writing team, which means double expenses and time...

And remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

Sure, Stupid Simple SEO helps a little with SEO. But they just wanna help people sell courses or software tools to go along with courses about affiliate marketing.

The world won't change for the better.

With Digital Leasing, you make money by helping local businesses make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Mike Futia's program, which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
