Locked In Leads Review (Updated 2024): Is Gabriel Ansel A Legit Facebook Ads Guru?

TLDR - What’s The Verdict On Locked In Leads?

For anyone looking for the short answer on whether you should buy Locked In Leads – I wouldn’t say I’d close the door on it, but I would definitely keep my wallet in my back pocket for the time being. 

I honestly don’t think Gabriel Ansel is in the business of scamming people, and I believe his course is certainly unique in its approach to combining affiliate marketing with local lead generation. 

My issue is that I’m kind of torn between these two business models.  I’m a huge fan of local lead generation, but not so much of affiliate marketing even though I’ve made money with both. 

If you’re a beginner in these industries, trying to figure them both out, become efficient at them, then merging them together sounds like an impossible task even to someone like me who’s been in this business for a while. 

Let’s take a look at a few stats… 

Roughly 79% of Lead Generators talk about how their number one priority is the quality of the leads they generate, but 80% of marketers say that the quality that they received are only minimal to somewhat effective at best.

Clearly there’s a disconnect here and there needs to be something that can bridge that gap. So, getting his course and shortening that learning curve would sound like a good decision to make. 

There’s also the issue of competition. Back in the day when I was doing affiliate marketing, there were times when I would run across an affiliate link for a Dog Training program and I could tell you who the person was promoting it.  

It’s crazy to think just how saturated a market like dog training can get. 

Think of it this way, imagine making plans to go to the dog park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but when you arrive it’s like Doggy Disneyland because everyone and their uncle has made the same plans with their playful little pooch. 

Unfortunately, this leaves you with only a few options: 

• You could try your best to find a corner in the park where you and Fido can get your wiggles out.
• Settle for a nice leisurely walk on the trail.
• Go home to play in the backyard again. 

As a pet owner myself, none of these options are all that great. 

That’s why I think that Digital Leasing is the best way to go if you want to create a business that is both passive and profitable. 

Taking on a new business venture can be a huge monkey on your back, especially when you’re brand new and still have a lot of wrinkles to iron out with lead quality.

So if you believe that Locked In Leads would be a great way to help you get the ball rolling, then you should seriously consider it given the coaching that Gabriel Ansel provides. 

However, if the jury is still out and you’re looking for something that can give you more control and a better grounding in the principles of lead generation, then Digital Leasing would be the better way to go.  

I’ll touch a little bit more on that later, but for now I’d like to take a closer look into who would get the most out of a program like Gabriel’s and who wouldn’t…

Who Should Consider Locked In Leads And Who Should Look Somewhere Else?

Since I’ve seen both sides of the coin for this course (affiliate marketing AND lead generation, any opinion that I have on the matter is going to be slightly biased. 

I believe that affiliate marketing is a great way to make money, so long as you’re able to thread the needle through the competition. 

So, if you see yourself in any of the following scenarios, Locked In Leads might be a good fit: 

• You’re a hard worker and determined to be successful in affiliate lead generation because of the success you’ve had with your personal affiliate sites.
• You’ve read that the conversion rate for paid ads is close to 2.35% which isn’t bad if you can translate to generating leads.
• You saw a YouTube video of a dancer who was responsible for $1 Million in sales for a Female-only fitness brand. 

Like I said, though, competition is a hard issue to overcome in affiliate marketing

Here’s a few stats to hammer that home… 

When you look at the number of times that affiliate links get clicked in any given year, it comes up to over five billion.  

I know I’ve been around the block with this business model, but that number just flat out floored me.  Not so much about the number of clicks, but for the number of marketers who own those links. 

Two, If we just assume that .1% of all of those links are generated by the same entity, whether it be a person or company, that comes out to five million. 

That’s a lot of competition just from one outfit. 

So if you see yourself in any of the following, you may want to pass: 

• You really like the idea of creating a passive income business, but this Reddit user paints a different picture of AM being more hands-on than what you read on the internet. 
• This Reddit user talks about how he tried Amazon FBA, affiliate marketing and lead generation, and found lead generation to be the easiest. 

Locked In Leads: A 1,000 Ft View

Next, I’d like to step you through this program and show you how this type of business model works. 

Let’s start from the ground up.

In order for most businesses to stay in business, they need a constant flow of customers who aren’t just willing to pay them for their services, but actually NEED the services they provide. 

As we go through this, I want you to keep the following situations in mind: 

• Your toilet is overflowing, and you have guests coming in an hour.
• You have a flat tire, with no spare, in the middle of a back country road. 
• It’s January, 30 degrees outside, and your HVAC unit just died. 

Let me give you a quick rundown of each side of the business, then I’ll show you how they work together. 

In affiliate marketing, you promote someone else’s product or service, and when someone buys it you get a small commission. 

For example, you have a website about Gardening with links to books on Amazon. When one of your visitors clicks on your link and buys a book, Amazon sends money to your bank account. 

In lead generation, you get paid for leading customers to someone that provides a service. 

In my first example above, you’ll probably Google something like “Emergency Plumbers near me”. You click on the link for the first site you see and call that phone number at the top. 

You get paid either a flat fee for each lead you send to that plumber, or you make an arrangement with that plumber to pay you every month to rent your site. 

In his course, Gabriel Ansel teaches you how to be the middle-man to the middle-man by bringing him leads that you generate. He then pays you a percentage of the money he makes when he sends the lead on to a small business owner. 

Honestly, the premise sounds good, but there’s one issue I have with it.  

The turn-around time. 

This would work great if let’s say you have a lead for someone who needs a kitchen remodel or an overgrown tree in their backyard. 

You can get their information, send it on to Gabriel, he sends it to his small business owner and they call the customer to give a quote. 

If they fit into any of the three situations I mentioned earlier, the two middle-men concept kinda gets tossed out the window because in emergency situations, there is no turn-around time.  

It has to be taken care of immediately, and people spend over $23 Billion per year on emergencies. 

So, you can see that you’d be leaving a lot of money on the table.

Who Is Gabriel Ansel?

Gabriel Ansel is a successful internet entrepreneur from Vancouver, British Columbia where he lives with his wife, Rebecca Cann. 

One day he ran into a guy wearing a flashy watch and spending money like crazy. Gabriel did some digging into the guy and found out that he made his money through email marketing. 

So he partnered up with man (Gabriel is keeping the man’s name to himself). After a few years of success and living the high life, Gabriel decided to venture out on his own. 

When he turned 25, he met up with Tyler Devin who he still works with to this day on their podcast, 7 Figure Entrepreneur.

Locked In Leads Review: Legit Or A Scam?

Now comes the big question…

Well, I can tell that it’s definitely not a scam. Even with all my concerns regarding the affiliate marketing angle, I still believe that Gabriel Ansel is a good-hearted guy and his course is legit. 

When you take into consideration that he’s willing to partner with you, you at least have a decent chance of making money with it. 

Although, when you consider your odds and all the competition, wouldn’t it be better to look at a program where you could pick up deals like fresh apples off a low-hanging branch? 

That’s why I’m such a huge fan of Digital Leasing.

Affiliate Marketing Mastery

In this Affiliate Marketing Mastery review, I talk about how Stefan James goes into detail about all the basic and advanced training of traditional AM.  Gabriel touches on the main points enough to get you working with him. 

Douglas James Training

My Douglas James Training review goes over his method of lead generation using Facebook Ads which is similar to Gabriel, but he doesn’t pay you to bring him leads. 

Google Maps Gold

This Google Maps Gold review doesn’t use Facebook at all and focuses mainly on generating free traffic by optimizing a small businesses Google Business Profile (GBP).

My Personal Opinion About Locked In Leads

As I've said before, I'm not a big fan of Affiliate Marketing mainly because it's difficult for the newbie to get his or her feet under them when starting out which is why nearly 95% of affiliate marketers fail.

But I don’t want that stat to scare you off from doing any sort of affiliate marketing, especially if it’s tied to lead generation which I believe is one of the best business models you can do.

2. Coaching: Is he available to you for one-on-one mentoring whether through Facebook or other venues? 
3. Value: Does the value of his course match or exceed the price tag? 
4. Honesty: Does Gabriel have anything up his sleeve like hidden course fees or extra overhead costs? 
5. Student Success: Is there any evidence that his methods actually help people to make money?

Would I Recommend Locked In Leads?

Based on the five criteria that we just outlined, let’s look at some reasons why I would or would not recommend this course: 

Why I would

It seems like the course is sound and you don’t need to go out on a limb and take crazy risks that could put you in a financial bind, that is if you can handle the $3,497 cost. 

It also comes with a money-back guarantee, although I would feel a little better about it if it were 30 days, rather than just 3. 

Why I wouldn’t

I know I sound like a broken record here, but I still can’t get away from the amount of competition that you’re going to be dealing with.  

Not just in the industry, but think of all the students who will be getting the same training as you. 

It’s like running a 400 against 10 other athletes who are just as fast as you.

Mainly because he’s paying his students to find leads for him.  

Sure he teaches how to do the same thing, but wouldn’t it be better to be in a position where solid leads are coming your way that you can take directly to your small business owner. 

For that reason, Locked In Leads just isn’t my best choice…
