Fast Start Side Hustle Reviews (Updated [year]): Is Adam Holland Legit?

Introduction To Adam Holland Marketing

Adam Holland is an affiliate marketing guru who claims his Fast Start Side Hustle program can give you that online business that changes your life forever.

If you're reading this, you were probably scrolling through social media when you saw an ad from this guy, talking of all the ways you can sit back and make money by basically doing nothing!

Those ads often target people who either happen to fall under a certain demographic (age/sex/race etc), or sometimes the algorithm picks up whatever you've been searching online...

...and if that's you, I get it.

The economy has been in rough shape, everything feels more expensive, and grinding out a 9-5 job keeps you away from the people and things you love.

But is affiliate marketing the answer?

Maybe.

I know you've been clicking around on different Fast Start Side Hustle reviews, trying to figure out what's really going on here. You might have even checked out some other affiliate marketing programs like Online Blueprint to see if you're missing out on something better.

If this is you, you're in luck: I've been writing these reviews for years, covering all kinds of stuff from affiliate marketing niches to how to become a real estate investor!

As you probably guessed, over time I've figured out where to spot red flags with these gurus, and what are some signs you might actually have found a lifehack for your bank account.

So what I'll do for you is highlight the best (and worst) parts of Adam Holland's program, as well as how much money all this will cost, and what else is really out there for you.

Now, let's rock n' roll with our Fast Start Side Hustle review!

DISCLAIMER:

This Fast Start Side Hustle review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Affiliate marketing is basically just posting links around the internet, which means it's really easy.
  • If you can make a big income from people clicking your links, then that means you're living big.
  • Adam Holland has been marketing since the 2007 market collapse, which means he's got some experience.
CONS
  • This is the most expensive affiliate marketing program I've seen in a long time, which means you'll have to make TONS of sales to make that money back.
  • There are awful reviews calling the course a scam, which might be a red flag for you.
  • Adam gets into fields like real estate and cryptocurrency in his more expensive courses, which means he's teaching things he doesn't even specialize in.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - Is There A Fast Start Side Hustle Scam Going On Here?

fast start side hustle scam or legit

"Fast Start Side Hustle scam" is a very heavily searched phrase on places like Google, so let's figure it out real quick:

Is Adam Holland running a scam?

It's not super clear, to be honest.

Now, technically a scam doesn't offer any real product or service, and just takes a big chunk of money out of their students for all they're worth...but it seems like Holland does offer some services.

The question is just how high-quality those services really are. Personally, I don't really care for affiliate marketing as a whole, so it's tricky for me to really rate Holland's courses since he's already off to a poor start.

I will say that his program has a lot of content, and he covers some useful topics like lead generation and Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which I love! If he just focused on those, I think it would unlock his full potential.

Unfortunately, I think Adam Holland gets a little greedy along the way.

He focuses far too much on selling affiliate marketing through online ads, where it's tricky to make any kind of profit unless you've already got really popular social media pages ready to be manipulated.

And then, if you pay a lot of extra money to join his higher-level tiers, he'll start teaching you about real estate, AirBnb businesses, and even automated forex trading service...

...that's where it gets really weird for me.

If Holland was starting a huge collaboration system with specialized coaches from each of those industries, then I think that would be pretty cool. Unfortunately, it looks like he does it all himself, which means you'll probably be paying a lot of money for very shallow (maybe even incorrect) teaching of complicated industries.

So yeah, I don't think Fast Start Side Hustle is a scam, but is that really what you wanna settle for?

"Not a scam?"

If you're really into making money online where you're get some valuable insights into an industry that's taking off like a rocketship right now, then check out Digital Leasing.

I stumbled onto this thing recently, and it seems like there's a ton of students who have achieved remarkable success - and it didn't take years to do it either.

Some people have generated eight figure revenue from lead generation, which makes a lot of sense..it's recession-proof, after all. I can't really see a world where local businesses don't want more customers, right?

Anyway, I think you should check it out unless you're really committed to the idea of affiliate marketing.

Level of Control2/5You can pick which items to sell, but that's about it.

There are lots of affiliate marketing systems out there, but what program is the right one for you?

Fast Start Side Hustle might be for you if...

  • You can wait months before seeing any money
  • You've tried some other courses (like Affiliate Marketing Mastery) and want something bigger

  • You don't really have the upfront investment, and don't want a high-interest loan
  • Some of the bad reviews are concerning to you
  • You just wanna stick to one really good business model

Fast Start Side Hustle At A 1,000 FT View

adam holland marketing review

Affiliate marketing is mostly about bringing traffic into a sales funnel, where you hope people buy some products that you can get commissions for. In other words: you post links around the internet and hope people click on them, and then buy the stuff.

It's really not that hard to do...which is actually a red flag. Be careful of anyone who promises a ton of money off doing something that barely requires you to do anything.

But the bright side is you don't need much experience as an affiliate marketer - which is probably why you see so many out there who type their little ads in broken English. Sure, it's easy, but you have to have the right things in place for you to make any kind of money off your own business.

As you might have guessed by now, I'm not really a huge fan of affiliate marketing. Spending all day posting links around the internet doesn't really sound exciting to me, no matter how nice your affiliate page looks.

Some people have been trying affiliate marketing for almost a decade and still struggle to get by.

That's doubling down where you messed up.

And listen, I think Adam Holland is probably a fantastic marketer - he's been doing it since 2008, so there's no way he doesn't know a thing or two about a thing or two.

But when your business model sucks, there's only so much your program can be worth.

And things get even weirder, since he starts to get into other business models like real estate and forex trading if you pay him enough money.

Frankly, if I'm really committed to affiliate marketing, I'd go get free resources somewhere else. And if I wanted to get into real estate or crypto, I'd go to a coach who specialized in all that.

Personally, I find those markets too volatile, basically the opposite of recession-proof. But I did stumble onto a cool thing recently, where you just generate leads online, then local businesses pay you to send 'em on over to them.

You're in control, you choose your niche, you choose who to work with.

Who Is Adam Holland?

who is adam holland

Adam Holland is a self-described "serial entreprenuer".

He lost his job back in the market crash of 2007, and decided to start his own business. It took him a few years, but in 2014 he finally got one going: Adam Holland Marketing. Not super creative, but it worked for a while.

It's not clear if AHM got a bad rep or what happened, but now he's shifted his branding from Adam Holland Marketing to Fast Start Side Hustle.

He now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and 2 kids.

How Much Does Fast Start Side Hustle Cost?

how much does fast start side hustle cost

So, this is where things kind of go off the rails for me.

I don't think affiliate marketing is good to begin with, but the pricing involved here is a little wild.

I'll get into the specifics of each tier later on in the review, but here are the price points:

  • Bronze Level: $1,000 + $199 admin fee
  • Gold Level: $3,000 +$247 admin fee
  • Platinum Level: $7,000 + $447 admin fee
  • Diamond Level: $14,000 + $647 admin fee
  • Royal Level: $21,000 + $847 admin fee

There are also rumblings that there is a $1000 "marketing coop" fee that you have to pay every month on top of this...

...really, it just seems like a lot of money for something that seems like it doesn't have a lot of profitability.

It looks like there is no refund for Fast Start Side Hustle.

If you decide to hand over your money to Adam Holland, you're risking not getting it back.

Be careful!

Is Adam Holland legit?

Depends what you mean.

I can't outright call him a scam artist, because there is technically a bunch of info he provides.

Now, I don't think that info is very useful, and I don't think anyone should be spending tens of thousands of dollars on affiliate marketing tips, especially when other gurus like Invincible Marketer put out tons of free YouTube content.

It seems like an awful idea to pay this guy all that money for not a whole lot of value.

Hey, if you could really make six figures, that'd be excellent!

is fast start side hustle a scam

But check this out. This is actually from Holland's own website, and it's supposed to be a positive testimonial of his program...but let's do some math here.

Apparently this student signed up for the "Ultra Royal level", which means he might have actually paid closer to $30,000 for the course...and he's happy to make his first "four-figure month".

That could mean only $1,000 per month, on a 30 grand investment!

If the positive testimonials are concerning then I'd hate to see all the negative feedback we don't get access to.

At the end of the day, you gotta go with another industry that'll stack some cash for your wallet, without putting you in debt on the way to getting there.

One of the best things about making money online is that you don't need a ton of storage space or all those big physical expenses...so there's no need to dive into the red (debt) when you can be in the black (profits).

Digital Leasing is calling your name. Give it a shot, I have some friends who are absolutely killing it right now - and it didn't take them months to get paid after making a deal, unlike with affiliate marketing.

Personal Opinion On Fast Track Side Hustle

is adam holland a scam

So...how do we find the right program for you?

  • Think about if you can see yourself doing this ten years from now
  • Make sure it's something you can afford
  • Check out reviews to see if you can find any red flags

I will say this is one of my least favorite affiliate programs.

But to be fair, here are 3 things I like about their style:

  1. Adam Holland is a strong marketer
  2. He offers a wide range of education, if you pay enough
  3. Could be a good way to make money if you have big social media accounts

...and, on the other hand, 3 things I don't really like:

  1. Way too expensive
  2. Affiliate marketing is rough unless you have a built-in audience
  3. Takes month to get paid even when you do make a sale

What's Inside Fast Start Side Hustle?

fast start side hustle business and mindset mastery wealth generation mastery

Adam Holland has a long and complicated set of tiers, with very different price points for each.

It appears that he divides the first three levels - Bronze, Gold, and Platinum - into something called "Business & Mindset Mastery".

He considers the next set of tiers - Diamond, Royal, and Ultra Royal - as "Wealth Generation Mastery".

As you might guess, the costs go up as the names sound cooler and cooler.

Tier 1 – Bronze

This level gives you what you'd figure, "fundamentals" and templates you can just copy/paste. It's unclear how much is different between this stuff and the free content Adam puts out there.

For only about $1,200 (before the monthly fees), this is by far his cheapest program, but it might also be a case of "you get what you pay for".

  • Affiliate program access
  • TikTok paid traffic tips
  • Fundamental training
  • TokTok organic traffic tips
  • Sales funnel templates
  • Email templates
  • Spam-text templates

Tier 2 – Gold

This level features two separate courses. The first focuses on mindset, marketing, and how to follow up with leads on the internet. It's called the "Fantastic Follow Up" course, and it has 21 modules instead of it, with features like:

  • Mindset tips
  • Marketing formulas
  • How to follow up on social media
  • How to follow up on live events
  • How to follow up on Skype

Uhh...does anyone even use Skype anymore?

Adam Holland says this entire course is basically optional, however, since he doesn't care if students generate their own leads or not.

Lead generation is very important to online business, so I'd disagree with him there.

His next course (which you get as well as part of the $3,247 Gold level) is a lot smaller with only 7 modules, about 20 minutes worth of content.

He claims that this "Setting Up Your Business" course would have saved him 100k in taxes if he had used it before starting out, so it's basically all about the technical stuff like:

  • What kind of corporation you want
  • Ways to pay yourself
  • Company name
  • Finding your EIN
  • Filing your corporation
  • Hiring an accountant to make sure you don't mess anything up

All in all, it sounds like some people won't even be pushed to try generating their own leads, so the first half of this tier might not apply. The second half is all easily available info you can find for free about doing your taxes and setting up a business.

Not sure this one is worth thousands of dollars.

Tier 3 – Platinum

With the Platinum level's $7,447 price tag, you get everything that comes with the Gold level, but you also get four new features.

One of these is the Operation List Building course, a 26-module training regimen focusing on sales funnels and marketing, as well as building up a big email-list so you can send cold emails to people.

OLB contains:

  • Email, autoresponder, and page builder setup tips
  • Tips on building your email list
  • "Tools of the trade"
  • Landing page info
  • How to steer traffic
  • Solo ads and sponsored ads
  • Branded reports, interview swaps
  • Facebook Ads and how to use Facebook audiences
  • YouTube advice

The next offering is a list of 125 follow-up email templates

After that, Adam introduces another course called Traffic Lightning, containing the following features:

  • Traffic 101
  • Tips on gaining subscribers/followers
  • How to make money from your email list
  • How to work Facebook ads
  • SEO (search engine optimization) tactics
  • More YouTube advice

I'm getting basically all this from Fast Start Side Hustle's website, so don't blame me if this is all starting to sound redundant.

It does seem like he's repeating a lot of the same teachings here, which is a little concerning that Adam Holland might just be adding filler to justify the higher price tag.

The last feature of the Platinum level is something called "Buying Decisions", which seems to be a general, quick overview on how to close sales deals with people.

Tier 4 – Diamond

is fast start side hustle legit

We are now entering the "Wealth Generation Mastery" section of Holland's program, which is worded in a way where he thinks you should do the other part first. However, at a price tag of nearly $15,000, the Diamond sounds like it's costly enough already.

In this tier, students will receive everything you'd get in the Platinum level, in addition to:

  • Real estate investing tips
  • AirBnb investing advice
  • Tax-free retirement strategy

So...for an extra 7 thousand dollars, you get some random real estate and tax advice.

Really?

This seems like it's going beyond just filler...Adam Holland has no experience in real estate as far as I can tell, and appears to simply be throwing things out there at this point.

If his affiliate marketing premise really works, then people wouldn't need to divide their time and energy into brand new industries to make big money.

Tier 5 – Royal

Here, you get everything that Diamond-tier gives you, except the cost will now be over $20,000...

For this high-ticket program, you'll also get:

  • Crypto trading advice
  • Mining cypto tips
  • Forex trading tactics

Adam Holland claims his "automated" Forex trading service delivered nearly a 500% return last year, which is preposterous.

If he had a program that guaranteed 5xing your money from simply investing, then he would scrap all of the affiliate marketing/real estate/other stuff and become a Forex guru.

All in all, this is the craziest filler I've ever heard of.

Tier 6 – Ultra Royal?

Oddly enough, there is no listing for "Ultra Royal" on their website, but they did share a testimonial from a guy named Doug on their website that describes his program level as "Ultra Royal"...so I guess we have to believe it exists.

If it's a higher level than Royal, then that could mean this tier will take you over $30,000 in investment, with potential to work alongside Adam Holland himself.

Conclusion: Fast Start Side Hustle Reviews

adam holland fast start side hustle

Should you hand over your money to Adam Holland?

I wouldn't.

The program would be better off if he just focused on something tried-and-true, but the more fluff he puts in to justify super-expensive courses...the more I wonder if he's not really thinking about the students' best interests here.

And frankly, I don't really see much upside to affiliate marketing to begin with.

Even if you're really into it as a business model, I think there are better courses that have high value than this one.

All in all, just keep your eyes peeled for better opportunities like Digital Leasing, whose model is straightforward and to the point: bring customers into local businesses, and don't wait months at a time to see if you get paid or not.

Personally, I think there is at least one company that stands out in comparison.

What's My #1 Way To Make Money In 2024?

Digital Leasing

I’ve spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business,” the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online or been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full-time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Adam Holland, you don’t really own anything.

You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own customers.

Look at the fine print for affiliate marketing terms and conditions. At any point, the company you're working with can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

And then your tens of thousands of dollars are all down the drain, because these guys are usually heavily legally protected by their terms and conditions.

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Adam Holland swings way in the opposite direction - you'll have to invest a ton of time and energy before seeing a dime...if you ever make a profit, of course.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple of keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

This is basically the opposite of Fast Start Side Hustle.

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 monthly in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with affiliate marketing, you’d have to double your traffic, double the average order size of each customer, OR double your commission rate.

In other words, doubling your expenses, time, and money spent on this thing.

And, guaranteed, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Fast Start Side Hustle, you’re selling the product with the best commission rate, NOT the one that will improve most people’s lives.

And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.

But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Adam Holland's marketing program, which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms, thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
