Brook Hiddink Review (Updated [year]) Is Ecom With Brook Legit?

Introduction To My Brook Hiddink Review

If dropshipping is dead, then someone must have forgotten to tell Brook Hiddink!

He's been promoting his Ecom With Brook program all over social media these days, and there's a good chance that his latest Google Ads campaign is what's brought you over here.

Brook pitches his world of selling high ticket dropshipping products, and it's easy to see why people could be attracted to opening their first ecommerce store.

The economy isn't great, the 9-5 sucks, and everyone wants more time to spend with their family and friends...

...but is Ecom with Brook the answer?

That's why you're really here. You're probably clicking around trying to see who this guy really is, and you might have even checked out some of his dropshipping competition like Ecom Good Life.

It can be stressful trying to navigate the world of courses and gurus, because let's face it - there really are scammers out there trying to rip you off.

Luckily for you, I've been grinding through these guys and their programs for years now, and after a while I've started to figure out some patterns red lights and green lights. I've written about everything from dropshipping niches all the way to how to become a real estate investor.

So I'll take you through what exactly selling high ticket products looks like, we'll see how much this all costs, and we'll even search around to see if there are quality alternatives for ya.

Now, let's roll on with our Brook Hiddink review!

DISCLAIMER:

This Ecom With Brook review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Looks like Brook Hiddink has made some good money through his services, which means he might be able to help you as well.
  • He went to law school for a while, and that means he might be able to help you with the legal side of things like handling refunds.
  • Hiddink offers 9 hours of free training, which means you might learn all you need without spending a dime.
CONS
  • Brook has only been dropshipping since 2021, which means he might not have the right level of experience to already be teaching other people how to do it.
  • Dropshipping accounts get banned from places like Amazon a lot, which means you might lose everything overnight.
  • This business model is getting oversaturated, which means you will have a ton of competition with little room for profits.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - What's The Verdict On Brook Hiddink?

what is ecom with brook

Brook Hiddink specializes in driving traffic to his high ticket dropshipping Shopify store, and now he wants to teach you how to do the same.

But is it worth handing over your hard-earned cash to him?

Well, it's gonna be a tough sell.

Brook has a very limited website - it's just one page that aggressively blocks you from seeing anything of substance unless you check some boxes and give him your email.

He does have a decent presence on social media, where YouTube has some solid value in terms of what he provides...

...but the main concern for me here is that it's still dropshipping.

Dropshipping has been dying since it peaked in the late 2010's, seemingly becoming oversaturated in 2020 when more people were forced to stay home and hustle for an extra buck or two.

If you really wanna give dropshipping a try, then Brook is probably the way to go since he provides a free course on YouTube, and some people say that one has all the info you need in it anyway.

The thing is, Brook could be the best guru in the whole world, but it wouldn't matter since he's chosen the wrong industry for people to succeed in.

I recently stumbled onto this Digital Leasing thing, where they find clients online for local businesses. It reduces the competition you'll face and increases the money you'll keep bringing in every month.

Their students seem extremely passionate about what they're doing - not just getting by, but creating their own future.

That said, if you'd like to hear some more about our Brook Hiddink review, let's keep on rolling.

Who Benefits From Ecom With Brook...And Who Should Avoid It?

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment2/5It doesn't take too long to learn, but you'll be grinding it 24 hours a day to keep your business alive.
Level of Control2/5Can get your account banned overnight.
Ease of Implementation2/5Easy to start, hard to maintain.
Profit Potential1/5Dropshipping has become very difficult to profit from with all the Chinese sellers undercutting you.

Ecom with Brook might be for you if...

  1. You're not scared of having thousands of other eCommerce rivals
  2. You didn't get enough out of the free course, and you want the full Brook Hiddink experience
  3. You did some e-commerce programs before (like Skup) and had a good time

On the other hand, it probably doesn't make sense to join up if...

  1. You're concerned you'll get your account banned overnight
  2. The lack of online reviews from students is a red flag for you
  3. You want your coach to have more than a couple years of experience

The Business Model

Ecommerce is kind of like a way of saying "I sell things on the internet". Primarily, people use sites like Amazon, Shopify stores, or eBay for their shopping needs.

Dropshipping falls under this category. The upside is that you don't have to pay for storage or send any physical products yourself. Instead, you get a supplier to handle all that stuff and pay them for it.

However, as you could imagine, this can get a little complicated when people want orders for different products from different suppliers. And refunds can especially be a headache.

I did write an article on how to start a dropshipping business, but frankly, the best way to start one is to stop before you even start and find something better.

I'm just tellin' it how it is.

Personally, I just have a real hard time recommending an industry that's so oversaturated, and where Jeff Bezos can randomly alter his fine print and have your account removed overnight.

And if that happens, good luck getting it back.

Instead, I'm gonna recommend you find an industry where the peak wasn't 5-10 years ago...you want "the next big thing", instead of trying to cram into a full elevator that's out of service anyway.

Who Is Brook Hiddink?

who is brook hiddink

Brook Hiddink was born in Canada, and has taken an unusual path to the life of an entrepreneur.

Hiddink was actually drafted 21st overall (out of 303 picks) into the Ontario Hockey League in 2012, which is when 16-year-olds are trained before they are potentially drafted into the National Hockey League, the highest level of professional hockey in the world.

To put this in perspective, he was only drafted 20 spots behind Connor McDavid, unanimously considered the best player since Wayne Gretzky.

Unfortunately, Hiddink didn't stand out in the OHL, and he decided to go to law school instead of continuing his playing career...

...but I guess his entrepreneurial spirit kicked in, because in 2021 he discovered dropshipping and hasn't looked back since.

Some people question whether or not someone can really teach you something after only a year of doing it, but that hasn't stopped Brook from selling his program to anyone interested.

How Much Does Ecom With Brook Cost?

how much does brook hiddink cost

Brook Hiddink offers a free 9-hour YouTube course, which is nice. But if you want more in-depth help, it seems like he charges around $6,000 for his program.

I wish he was more transparent on this, as his website is very bare-bones and I had to find out from former students.

What's Brook Hiddink's Refund Policy?

It appears that there is no refund policy if you decide to hand over your money to Brook Hiddink.

Be careful!

So, is Brook Hiddink legit?

It's hard to tell since he's so new to the coaching game, but I don't think he's a scam artist.

As much as I think some people are natural talents in some areas, Brook started coaching others only a year after jumping into dropshipping. That seems way too fast, in my opinion.

To compare, Michael Jordan was very good at playing basketball...but to this day, he's still never coached an NBA team. And I'm gonna guess he wouldn't have been very good just one year after picking up a basketball.

The dropshipping industry is dying out and is sketchy enough, but I definitely advise against joining up with a guru who just started in 2021...

...try something more stable, with more upside, and with a mentor that's been in the game for many years.

Maybe Brook Hiddink will grow and become a great coach one day, but I just don't think he's on the same level as Digital Leasing yet.

Personal Opinion On Ecom With Brook

is brook hiddink a scam

So, how do we choose the right course?

  • Make sure the coach has a good amount of experience
  • Check the business model to see if it's still profitable
  • Ask yourself if you can see yourself doing this ten years from now

Brook Hiddink might not the worst guy, it's too soon to tell.

Let's go over a quick 3 things I like about his program:

  1. Offers a free course on YouTube
  2. Brook is young and energetic
  3. He recommends high ticket products

...and, in all fairness, here are 3 things I don't really like:

  1. Very inexperienced for a guru
  2. No refund policy
  3. Dropshipping has been dying out since 2019

What's Inside Ecom With Brook?

whats inside ecom with brook

Brook Hiddink's program offers a 9-hour free course on YouTube, and if you read the little screenshot above, you'll see that even people who have paid $6,000 say that 90% of the material in the paid version is the same as the YouTube course.

Here's some of what you'll learn:

  • how to find profitable products
  • designing your store for higher sales
  • finding the right suppliers to make sure everything works smoothly

In other words, the basics of dropshipping will be covered, and this might be a decent course for a beginner who really wants to get into the world of eCommerce.

Something I don't really like about his course is that he focuses a lot on paid ads (PPC) instead of driving organic traffic through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

SEO saves you a ton of money, and it actually drives more traffic than paid ads anyway.

Speaking of which, local lead generation is all about SEO, except it uses it to help local businesses instead of competing against Chinese-based rivals who can always afford to sell something cheaper than you.

Conclusion

So, do I recommend sending your money over to Brook Hiddink?

Nah.

He might be a solid guru one day, but he's still too new in the industry, and I can't responsibly recommend anyone to be a guinea pig for his program.

And as I've mentioned, it doesn't really matter even if he was an amazing coach - he's in the world of dropshipping, so you're already facing an uphill battle.

Getting your account banned overnight without warning? Endless, intense competition? Dealing with supplier problems with people who don't even speak your language?

And here I thought making money online was supposed to give you some of that "financial freedom"...

...if you really want something powerful, check out my top recommendation.
