Revenue Tactics Review (Updated [year]): Is Tom Bell Legit?

Hi there! Thanks for joining me for my Revenue Tactics review. I’m excited to bring you this program and my personal opinions on it.

The world of affiliate marketing is constantly evolving, with new strategies and training programs popping up all the time. However, some fundamentals remain constant, and mastering them can lead to long-term success.

Revenue Tactics, founded by Tom Bell, aims to provide comprehensive affiliate marketing education to help students achieve their income goals.

As someone who has reviewed numerous affiliate marketing training programs, I've noticed a few common trends:

Many courses focus on a single traffic source or strategy

Income claims can be exaggerated or misleading

Instructors often portray their success as easily replicable

By the end of this honest and simple review, I want you to have a clear understanding of whether Revenue Tactics can genuinely help you build a thriving affiliate marketing business or if it's just another overhyped program.

You’ll also see, out of those three main differentiating factors, whether or not this program ends up traveling down the same path as a lot other options out there.

Let’s get into it!

DISCLAIMER:

This Revenue Tactics Review review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Revenue Tactics offers comprehensive training in a number of traffic methods so you can diversify your affiliate traffic.
  • The program offers coaching and mentorship from experts in various industries so it’s a nice blend on education.
  • There is a specific focus on learning how to choose a niche and establish authority which is becoming more and more important in the eyes of Google.
CONS
  • Becoming a jack-of-all-trades in different traffic methods isn’t always better than becoming an expert in one. You may find the education to be thin in places.
  • Many of the programs are not available yet so while they boast different training on traffic types, you can’t access the courses yet.
  • There isn’t a ton of information regarding the authority and expertise of these coaches so you can’t be entirely sure the education is valid and up to date.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - The Ultimate Verdict on Revenue Tactics

TLDR - The Ultimate Verdict on Revenue Tactics.webp

Revenue Tactics, founded by Tom Bell, offers a comprehensive affiliate marketing training program designed to help students succeed in the ever-evolving world of online marketing.

I like to think of a good affiliate marketing course as a toolbox. Without the right tools and guidance, your business may struggle to get off the ground. But with a well-stocked toolbox and expert instruction, you can build a solid foundation for success.

After reviewing Revenue Tactics' course content and student testimonials, I believe they provide the necessary tools and knowledge to help aspiring affiliate marketers thrive.

However, the success of your business still depends on your dedication and application of the strategies taught.

So because of that, I can’t recommend Revenue Tactics.

While Revenue Tactics offers legitimate training that has proven useful for many students, it's important to recognize that affiliate marketing comes with its own set of challenges, such as:

  • Choosing the right niche and products to promote
  • Mastering various traffic sources (e.g., social media, SEO, paid ads)
  • Creating compelling content and offers
  • Adapting to changes in the industry and consumer behavior
  • Dealing with constant algorithm changes that decimate businesses overnight

Not to mention the pure saturation of the most common and popular niches people prefer to target.

These issues are hard to look past.

Instead of solely relying on affiliate marketing, why not consider Digital Leasing as an alternative?

Digital Leasing involves creating digital assets that attract customers for local businesses, then leasing those assets to the businesses for a monthly fee.

This approach allows you to generate hands-off, residual income without the need to constantly find new products to promote or worry about complex marketing strategies.

This straightforward business model is built on providing value to brick-and-mortar businesses in your community, making it a more stable and predictable source of income compared to the often-volatile world of affiliate marketing.

Who Benefits From Revenue Tactics and Who Doesn’t?

Who Benefits From Revenue Tactics and Who Doesn’t.webp

Right out of the gate, Revenue Tactics is a comprehensive affiliate marketing and overall online marketing program that could cater to a wide audience.

That said, it’s still important to question whether or not this is the right program for you when there are so many that offer the same training.

Who Benefits

  • Individuals with a strong interest in general marketing: Revenue Tactics is an excellent fit if you’re looking for a lot of information in various disciplines without getting too deep into anything.
  • People able to self motivate: Affiliate marketing requires consistent effort and the ability to stay focused on your goals, even in the face of challenges.
  • Those playing the long-game: No matter how you cut it, affiliate marketing is always a long-game. You’re never going to make money right away so you need to be able to invest the time and money.

Who Doesn’t Benefit

  • Individuals seeking a "get-rich-quick" scheme: Affiliate marketing is not a shortcut to overnight wealth. While this program doesn’t make any false promises, don’t expect quick wins.
  • People unwilling to learn SEO: The program teaches about a lot of free traffic methods like SEO but it requires you to create a lot of content to generate traffic to your website.
  • Anyone without an ad budget: The other element here is the PPC ads through Google and Social Media. You’ll need to have a little nest egg to be able to afford it.

While you may not feel like you’re the perfect fit for this program, there are plenty of other great affiliate marketing programs that we can recommend like Wealthy Affiliate.

Now let’s dive a little more into the program and take a look at the business model of affiliate marketing, who created this system, and a few more details about it.

Business Model

Revenue Tactics teaches the affiliate marketing business model, which involves promoting other companies' products or services and earning a commission for each sale or lead generated.

Affiliate marketers leverage various online platforms and marketing strategies to drive traffic to their affiliate links, with the goal of converting that traffic into revenue growth.

This business strategy requires a few moving parts like a website or landing page to drive traffic to and a means of getting the traffic there whether it’s SEO or paid ads.

Affiliate marketing is a tried and true business model that has been popular for years for boosting revenue and demonstrating profitable growth of passive income.

As a result, it’s become increasingly competitive and with constant algorithm changes from Google, more difficult to do.

The goal of Revenue Tactics is to help you break through that glass ceiling and learn up-to-date techniques that can help you outpace your competition.

About The Guru

about tom bell.webp

Tom Bell, the founder of Revenue Tactics, is a successful affiliate marketer and internet entrepreneur. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Tom has generated millions in sales and has been recognized as a multiple-time Clickbank Platinum winner.

He has generated over $8 million online, coins himself an expert in paid and organic traffic, and claims to have personally coached hundreds of successful clients.

One thing I found interesting about this program is that there are actually multiple coaches involved that each specialize in their own discipline.

They have a Google and YouTube ads mentor, an organic traffic mentor, and a Facebook ads mentor all to provide specialized training in their respective industry.

Revenue Tactics Cost

revenue tactics cost.webp

The overall Revenue Tactics program is made up of multiple courses that all center around different types of traffic. So, there are courses for Google Ads, Facebook, Native ads, and so on.

The only publicly listed program cost is their Native Ad program which focuses on learning how to make up to $1,000 per day driving native ad traffic to affiliate offers.

This Revenue Tactics cost is around $997 so based on my experience and research, we can assume that most of the courses will run about the same cost.

What Makes This Program Different… Or Not Different?

There are two main things I like about this program right away:

  1. Comprehensive curriculum: The program covers a wide range of topics, from mindset and niche selection to advanced traffic generation strategies, providing students with a well-rounded education in affiliate marketing.
  2. Emphasis on multiple traffic sources: Unlike many courses that focus on a single platform or strategy, Revenue Tactics teaches students how to leverage various traffic sources, such as SEO, paid ads, and social media, to diversify their income streams.

One thing I notice as someone who has reviewed dozens of affiliate marketing programs is that many of them focus on a single area of expertise like SEO, content, PPC, and so on.

Revenue Tactics offers a wide variety of options so you’re not cornered into one specific way of driving traffic to affiliate offers.

The only downside there is that you’re not likely to gain as immersive of a knowledge on a specific traffic method.

For example, if you wanted to learn more specifics about SEO affiliate marketing, Stupid Simple SEO is a great option. If you’re more concerned about PPC, Rapid Profit Machine is a solid option.

It may help to diversify and become a jack-of-all-trades in each.

My Personal Opinion In This Revenue Tactics Review

My Personal Opinion In This Revenue Tactics Review.webp

Area of ImportanceScoreTakeaway
Time Investment2/5While affiliate marketing can be passive in the long-term, paying to run ads to affiliate marketing offers will require ongoing ad supervision and adjustment.
Upfront Cost3/5The program is somewhat affordable but you need to factor in ad spend, tools, and software as well.
Learning Curve3/5Affiliate marketing is not necessarily difficult, but there are many moving parts to learn which can make it challenging to catch on quickly.
Profit Potential3/5As you scale, profitability increases but competition only continues to become more fierce and the potential for lower commissions exists every day.

my personal opinion of revenue tactics

Having explored numerous affiliate marketing programs and digital business models, I understand the difference between reality and inflated promises.

Revenue Tactics shows strong potential, but the problem is, success in affiliate marketing is not as straightforward as many courses suggest. You need a solid understanding of the industry and a willingness to adapt to changes.

You also need to realize you’re competing against giant monopolies that buy up websites, drive traffic to them, and have millions of dollars in ad spend to appropriate across their sites.

It’s difficult to compete no matter what program or guru you’re following.

So how do you evaluate if Revenue Tactics is the right choice? Here's what I'd analyze:

  1. Research the founder's expertise and student results. Tom Bell is positioned as a successful affiliate marketer, but it's essential to verify his background and proof of success.
  2. Seek tried and true feedback from past students across online communities. While many testimonials on the Revenue Tactics website are positive, it's crucial to find unbiased opinions from various sources like BBB, Trustpilot, and Reddit.
  3. Check for transparency around course pricing and content. The exact cost of the program is not publicly disclosed, which may raise concerns for some potential students.

While you might think I'm being too skeptical, it's important to look out for yourself when investing in your education and future. Revenue Tactics appears to be a legitimate training program but you need to realize that affiliate marketing isn’t as easy as they may lead you to believe.

Is This a Revenue Tactics Scam?

I wouldn't call it a Revenue Tactics scam since they do seem to provide comprehensive affiliate marketing training as advertised.

The content is legit, the value is there… I’m not arguing that.

So in that sense, you likely gain insights into various aspects of affiliate marketing and strategies to build your online business. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a smart investment for everyone.

The bigger question is whether Revenue Tactics delivers enough practical value to justify trying to break into the highly competitive world of affiliate marketing.

This is a world full of uncertainty while you lay at the mercy of Google and all the advertisers you plan to run ads through.

For most aspiring entrepreneurs seeking a reliable path to online income, I believe the answer leans towards no.

Between the challenges of:

  • Choosing a profitable niche
  • Mastering multiple traffic sources
  • Constantly adapting to industry changes
  • Waiting months or even years to have revenue growth

All the while, there’s no guarantee of success.

There seem to be better alternatives that don't require such a steep learning curve or leave you at the mercy of factors beyond your control.

A focus on building and monetizing your own digital assets keeps startup costs low while allowing you to create a more stable and predictable income stream.

This is where Digital Leasing comes in.

It lets you leverage the power of digital real estate to generate semi-passive income based on your own efforts. Yes, there is still a learning process that can take some time, but you can generate income right away through Digital Leasing without a significant upfront investment.

Once your assets are established, revenue growth increases month over month. And you maintain full ownership and control. You never have to rely on the success or failure of others to secure your financial future.

Pursuing affiliate marketing without a clear understanding of the risks and challenges simply requires too high of a risk tolerance for me.

If I'm going to put resources into sales and marketing efforts, I want to put it towards something that focuses on maximizing revenue generation, rather than trying to squeak out commissions wherever possible.

I recommend evaluating if Digital Leasing is a better opportunity for you and deciding before you invest your time and money into Revenue Tactics.

Well, what do you think about this Revenue Tactics review?

Before diving into any affiliate marketing course, it's crucial to evaluate your goals, resources, and risk tolerance. Are you prepared to invest significant time and effort into mastering the strategies taught by Revenue Tactics?

Can you afford the course fees and the additional expenses for building a website, running ads, and all the research tools and software you’ll need?

While Revenue Tactics provides valuable insights and training, the world of affiliate marketing is highly competitive and constantly evolving. Success is never guaranteed, and it may take months or even years to generate substantial income.

Because of these factors, I don’t recommend dialing into the Revenue Tactics program and system.

What is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online in 2024?

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online - Digital Leasing.webp

We've explored the potential and pitfalls of affiliate marketing through programs like Revenue Tactics.

While the idea of generating passive income by promoting other people's products may seem appealing, the reality is often far more complex and challenging.

The affiliate marketing landscape is highly competitive, constantly evolving, and heavily dependent on a series of scary factors that can decimate your business overnight.

What happens when:

  • The products you're promoting become obsolete or lose their market demand?
  • Affiliate programs change their terms, reduce commissions, or shut down entirely?
  • You struggle to generate consistent traffic and sales despite investing countless hours and dollars into marketing efforts?

It's time to take off the rose-colored glasses and recognize that affiliate marketing may not be the most reliable or sustainable path to online success.

That's why I want to introduce you to Digital Leasing - a business model that allows you to create a stable, semi-passive income stream by building and renting out digital assets to local businesses.

1. Predictable Income - With Digital Leasing, you generate revenue through ongoing lease agreements with businesses that benefit from your digital assets. This creates a more predictable and consistent income stream compared to the volatility of affiliate sales. 2. Greater Control - You maintain full ownership and control over your digital assets, giving you the flexibility to adapt to market changes and make strategic decisions without being at the mercy of affiliate programs or product creators. 3. Scalable Growth - Digital Leasing allows you to scale your business by creating additional assets and leasing them to multiple clients. This enables you to increase your earnings without the need for constant product searches or promotional campaigns. 4. Making a Real Impact - By providing valuable digital solutions to local businesses, you're not just earning money for yourself – you're also helping entrepreneurs and communities thrive. These assets can make a genuine difference in the lives of real people, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment in your work.

Imagine being able to support your family, pursue your passions, and achieve financial freedom without the stress and uncertainty of relying on affiliate commissions or the whims of product creators.

Digital Leasing offers a path to building a sustainable online business that puts you in the driver's seat, empowering you to create the life you've always dreamed of.
