Generating high-quality leads entails more than simply creating a website or running campaigns.

Jason Wardrop was a paid ads guy when he first started out.

He knew he was good at bringing leads in the door – but after attending a Mastermind and seeing what others were doing on YouTube and other social media platforms, he realized he was ready to go all in on local lead generation.

It seems that lead generation is stronger than other business models – but is Jason’s course better than other lead generation models?

Let’s find out.

UPDATE: This company is now out of business, as far as we can tell. We will let this review stand as proof of our warnings and recommendations throughout the industry.

This Jason Wardrop Review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Table of Contents

  • Lead gen is a great industry

  • The right mentor is essential for lead gen courses
The Bad

Arsenal Marketing is an ad agency course. The basic premise is that you’ll learn how to build your own ad agency, land clients, and get them results.

Running an agency (even though they’re a bit of a commodity nowadays) isn’t a bad way to get your feet wet in the world of online business.

That said, there are a lot of moving parts with this business model:

  • Prospecting – you need to know how to find potential clients
  • Sales – you need to know how to convince those clients to give you money
  • Media Buying – you need to know how to run ads profitably
  • Copywriting – you need to know how to tailor your ad messaging for the right customers
  • Design – you need to know how to design ads/landing pages to maximize conversions
  • Email Marketing – you need to know how to follow up with prospects and customers
  • Automation – you need to know how to connect everything properly

Now, most course-sellers will try to make this easier on you by telling you they’ve managed to “automate everything”, offering “plug-and-play” campaigns, and “pre-built templates”.

Here’s the thing though:

Markets are always changing. They get more savvy as time goes on.

If you buy a program with thousands of other students, where everything is built out for you, there’s an almost 100% chance those templates don’t work.

Because if thousands of other students are using those exact same “plug and play” campaigns, tens of millions of people have already seen them, reducing their effectiveness.

Not to mention, with most agency programs, the templates are actually built by some virtual assistant in the Philippines or India, and have never actually been tested in real life.

And if they have, there’s a good chance they’re extremely outdated, since most programs don’t bother updating their templates after launching. The course creator gets too busy just trying to sell to more and more students, instead of focusing on quality education.

Now, here’s the most sinister part of this whole thing:

Most course creators market their agency courses as something you can do anywhere in the world. You might hear them say things like “The world is my office” or “This is a simple passive income business”.

That’s just plain false. Running an effective agency is in no way passive. Look at the list above, and remember that you can’t rely on pre-built templates. You’re responsible for every part of the process.

Does that really sound like a business you can do from a laptop on the beach?

See how this could be a problem?

passive income

Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Mastering 100 different roles
  • Needing to be a technology wizard
  • Working round the clock just to keep things from blowing up

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

Arsenal Marketing: Overview

jason wardrop scam or pyramid scheme

Jason Wardrop is all over YouTube, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads – and now he says he wants to offer the framework, templates, tools, and strategy to clients so that others can do the same.

He claims to be crushing it in the leads game with his business Arsenal Marketing.

When you’re searching for business strategies to create more leads, Jason Wardrop wants his ad agency online business model to be the first place clients to reach out to.

His stated mission is to service clients in generating more leads, email and text follow-ups (customer relationship management), and close more sales.

This article will review Jason’s agency course and all his claims about his agency resources and services

What Is Arsenal Marketing?

Arsenal MKG is a simple lead generation & CRM course for clients such as Real Estate Agents & Loan Officers.

They simplify the lead generation & follow-up process for clients with simple landing pages, Email & SMS follow-up, lead notifications, templates, and a mobile app to manage leads on the go.

They have now worked with over 4,200 real estate agents and loan officers across the world.

Arsenal MKG cost begins at $199.00 per month per user, no small fee. There is a free version available on a limited basis.

Who Is Jason Wardrop?

Is Jason Wardrop's interest on SEO led to starting his own business

All his life, Jason has always aspired to be an entrepreneur. He was always hustling to make money from his several side business

He saved up for college expenses using earnings from his party organizing business which drew up to 8,000 customers to one of their private events.

Then he became interested in digital marketing and began experimenting with SEO, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, and other digital templates and strategies.

In 2015, he co-founded his own business with a software developer – a software company. Between 2015 and 2020, he was able to attract over 15,000 customers for his software business by using the digital marketing templates and strategies he now wants to sell.

In 2018, he began a YouTube channel to sell what he was learning from his software business and his following has risen to 100k subscribers.

This agency offers a free course too

Jason’s Linkedin profile says that he teaches real estate agents how to use Facebook ads to create more leads, book more appointments, and close more sales.

Jason says he has worked with over 4,200 real estate agents, brokers, personally generating over 52,500 real estate leads while educating other agents on how to get 2-5 leads per day on a constant basis.

They have created software (Arsenal MKG – www.arsenalmkg.com) to help simplify and automate much of the lead generation process and have landing sites, email, templates, & SMS follow up, and lead alerts in under 60 seconds.

Jason Wardrop, Facebook Ads, and Instagram

Jason Wardrop uses Facebook Ads

You’ve probably heard about the Facebook Ads algorithm and how it’s always changing. Keeping up with what Facebook ads want may be difficult for business companies.

We now know that the Facebook ads algorithm prefers larger viewers. Facebook ads targeting has grown increasingly narrow.

Every new inclusion or exclusion raises your cost per 1000 impressions, making it difficult for small business companies to have a generous ad spend budget for Facebook.

Jason’s Facebook ads plan begins with “housing” as the special ads category. If you are a brand new business, many of your Facebook ads will be cold. It doesn’t matter, go ahead and promote using your Facebook business page.

Once you’ve gathered people who have engaged with your Facebook page in some manner (liking, commenting, sharing, etc.), you can start retargeting them with your Facebook ads.

You may establish custom audiences and even upload your current database to guarantee you are delivering the correct message to the right buyer at the right time and to guarantee a better return on your ad spend.

Is Jason Wardrop Legit? Or Is He Running A Scam?

This course offers leads generation with free templates

So, is Arsenal Marketing a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as Jason Wardrop makes it sound.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – running an agency is extremely active income (NOT passive).

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re getting into this game to live life on your terms, travel the world, and generate passive or semi-passive income from anywhere, then this isn’t for you.

What if, instead, you could put in a couple hours a day (in your spare time) to build a single digital asset, and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate

And, unlike a traditional ad agency, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.

Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.

So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.

And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Can I Make Money with Jason Wardrop’s agency?

local lead generationYes, You can! But…

There’s a lot that comes along with digital ads that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea… It’s not impossible to make money with digital ads, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket many online businesses to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Jason Wardrop Online Reviews

reddit modern millionaires

Let’s hear what the people have to say:

“I was very disappointed in the service provided by Arsenal MKG.  The best part of the software is the landing page element, which is pretty good.  The worst part is pretty much everything else.  Here is a review of what I sent to their customer service group requesting a refund based on their “100% Money Back Guarantee”, which never happened.  Denise, who is their customer service manager replied to my request pointing me to a refund policy that essentially was 0% after 24 hours.  Who can evaluate a platform in just 24 hours?  Yeah, so here you go.  Caveat Emptor….

Greetings – This note is to request the cancellation of my Arsenal account and to process a full refund per your 100% money back guarantee.  I’m disappointed with the whole process.  Here are a list of my reasons:

First, the facilitator of the webinar consistently talked about a system that would generate leads from the ads and automatic sequences which would result in prospects scheduling appointments with the agent.  All of this seemingly without the agent having to do much of anything except fund the ads and monitor the sequences.  I knew that was going to end up being a bit of a stretch, but then got into the “training” after I signed up only to find an almost hard sell that phone calls had to be early and often.  The gentlemen in FL may enjoy spamming people with 9 contacts a day, 3 of them being phone calls, but I certainly do not.  Really seems like bait and switch to me.

Now, let me describe what I found the deliverables of the package to actually be.”6-figure Agent 2.0 Masterclass”:

This is partly rudimentary sales training, and the most of the remainder are help videos on using the Arsenal or FB ad system.  Sure, there’s a few beneficial nuggets in there outside of the scope of the product, but “$2000 value” for mostly sales 101 training and videos on how to use the tool?  I may be an anomaly, but this was not at all useful.

The following were marketed as separate items, but are actually a part of the Arsenal software that you sell for $99 per month (confirmed in a conversation with the coach who set up my ad)
– Social traffic secrets
– Quickstart templates
– Lead generation templates
– The automated email template.

The alleged “secret” appointment scheduling app is no secret at all.  It’s Calendly and I’ve had an account for a long time. The Arsenal MKG UNLIMITED for 3 months.  That’s the afore mentioned software subscription that you sell for $99 per month, which is a net value of $298, not $1194 that you state in your marketing. Your software has some decent features.  The landing pages work pretty well, but everything else is pretty basic or fall short in user experience.  For example:  For a text conversation that took place on the mobile app to not be accessible on the desktop version (or vice versa) of the software is a bad user experience.  The mobile app is really buggy.  It was released too soon.  There are bugs in the auto sequence system that your support couldn’t explain

At $99 per month, I would expect a LOT more.  If almost $1000 wasn’t being charged to me above the $99 per month, I may have considered sticking with it.  However, this program as a whole was completely over sold and subsequently under-delivered.”

Dang, not the best start. Let’s hear a few positive spins on things:

This course lures clients with a 6-figure income

“Arsenal has been an amazing system for my business. I have a consistent source of leads for my business that I’ve never had before joining Arsenal AND I have appointments booked on my calendar every single week. It has seriously been a game changer for my business!”

“Arsenal MKG’s support team is amazing! They are very responsive and have helped me every step of the way. They do a great job answering questions when they come up. Love the service and the software!”

“As many of you know, it’s hard generating leads and can be very very costly.  Relying on major platforms cost me so much money and I  was locked into crazy contracts.

With arsenal, I was able to generate 25 leads in one day on my first day and was able to sell a $900k equestrian property from the those leads. I also was able to generate leads for my commercial side of business and secured a buyer for a 7.8 million light industrial building.

With arsenal I have reduced  my marketing expenses to less than $1k when before I was spending well over $3500 while struggling to get quality leads. All leads from arsenal aren’t perfect but you get quanity which is better than what agents normally pay for on OTHER major home search engines and leads that they claim to provide”

“I’m surprised there are bad reviews here for Jason and Arsenal MKG. I  find the system well explained, easy to set up, and I got instant leads from the few quick ads I have put on Facebook so far using this system. And at a great price. I don’t even want to think about the work I would have had to do to figure out the ads to place, the landing page design, and the follow up system on my own.

And you get a great CRM all for a minimal investment. Someone from their company helped me set up my first ad and literally a half hour later I was getting notifications and requests for information. As for the reviewer who says they were “not qualified” leads – Arsenal is NOT providing leads.

It is providing you with a system to generate your own leads on social media. Then you spend a few minutes to qualify them yourself. Even if the lead is not ready now, the leads are effortlessly put on a drip contact system. What could be easier?”

Hmm, a few of those seemed like they may have been paid for. Let’s see what the rest look like:

“My review is just like all the others and I’m sure they will post bogus reviews that are good to cover the bad ones.  I was with them 3 days and my card thought it was suspicious activity and txt me for approval.  Within 1 minute I approved it but they put it on me to call my card, who already told me to tell them to re charge or to call facebook because now it was their problem.

They had no means to get the ad going again without telling me I had to do something.  And it took 2 days before they realized my ad was down.  They never told me that I was to spend a ton of money on ads and that I was the one that was going to be doing all the work.  Then they quoted their contract or something like that.

This isn’t a fine detail. This is a major component of what they do and should be disclosed while they are dangling the shiny new object in our faces.  After 3 days, they agreed to terminate my contract but refused to issue me a refund for the $367 I just paid less than a week before.  Thieves!  If they were successful, they would treat their clients this way.  Run!!!”

“DON’T DO THIS PROGRAM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Jason Wardrop’s system is tricky to navigate. The Done for you model came riddled with mistakes and had to correct and scrutinize the work when I paid to not have to scrutinize the mistakes. I lost momentum and eventually gave up. There are other hidden costs like maillgun and go high level you need the $500 monthly plan. This trap and withholding of the extra costs are unreal.

There is no such thing as Done for you, you still have to go through every 60 videos to grasp the concept on go high level and the rest. I would have been better off not doing the DFY and building it myself. I paid almost $4000 and he gave me back like $1000. What a doucHe bag. This guy would rather keep your money and say go f$ck yourself. DON’T DO THIS PROGRAM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!”

“I was very disappointed in this lead generating platform. When I was first learning the program, I wanted to speak with a live person. I could never speak to a person on the phone even though I requested this numerous times. All communication had to be during their business hours and communication was only by email. T

hey would send me a link to read when I had a question. I regret ever signing up for this. It was a large financial loss for me.   Yes, I received leads, but the leads were not looking to buy or sell a home. Most clicks were just curious about the house. I never sold one house as a result of this program. I have been in real estate 27 years and am a top producer. I did work the leads, unfortunately it was a complete waste of time and money and I would not recommend.”

“Company has the worst customer service. You watch a video that Jason goes through and tells you how the system works.  He tells you that you get the system for 3 months free, but they charge you right away.  If you have a problem with the set-up of the system, support will not call you and talk you through the problem or look into it, they just say “oh we only communicate through email, we don’t call anyone”.

You are told to just watch the videos. You cannot talk with anyone; all communication is done through email only. You are told they guarantee leads from the Facebook ads or your money back. Their system is to have automatic email replies to leads, but when I had family and friends try it, they received no emails like the company says the system does. (Which you are paying for). They apparently don’t guarantee their system which you are paying $$$ for.

I purchased a system that didn’t work and no one would assist in correcting and when complained and told them after using it for a month to cancel was told no refund
Several complaints on BBB and several bad yelp reviews.”

When it comes to building a business through internet marketing, you have plenty of options. And even if you’re dead set on becoming a digital ads marketer, you’ve got way better options than Jason Wardrop’s agency.

Keep in mind, we don’t get paid to promote any of the programs we review. We personally think digital ads is a great business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.

Are There Alternatives To Jason Wardrop’s Own Business?

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online.  Here are just a few:

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2023?

Digital Real Estate

Our team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With an ad agency, you don’t really own anything. You’re a hired gun for clients, and entirely at their mercy.

Sure, you own your agency, but if your business grinds to a halt once you stop working, all you really have is a self-created job.

With Digital Real Estate (a passive income stream), you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with an ad agency, you’d have to double your clients OR double the monthly payment of your existing customers. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Arsenal Marketing which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Real Estate.

  1. No, jason wardrop is a scam. I was sold a $199 course through a click-bait link after his website collected my card details for sample $7 trial pdf book. No confirmation or approval for buying the course was taken from me.
Soon I claimed for refund which was backed by 30-days 100% money-back policy which he never refunded. It has been over 6 months and he replied only once saying he will check and always evading.
People have also complained that they were charged monthly from their credit cards once their information was collected by him!!!
He is inaccessible, He deletes all the comments on youtube asking fir refunds. There is no calling no. which can connect to him. Lose your hard earned money to join his course.
