List Building Lifestyle Review ([year] Update): Is This Email Marketing Program Right For You?

List Building Lifestyle is a program designed by a popular email marketer – and affiliate marketer – named Igor Kheifets,

The first thing he teaches you is how to say his name...

...but the second thing seems to basically be a fancy way of describing one method of affiliate marketing.

You've gotta ask yourself: is one marketing niche enough for you to earn money online?

Do you want to spend your life sending out cold-call emails for a living?

Let's dive in and find out what Igor offers, and if his material makes sense for you.

DISCLAIMER:

This List Building Lifestyle review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Igor Kheifets claims to be a successful guru
  • Email marketing could make you some money
CONS
  • Paying a lot of money per lead, likely thousands overall
  • The cost is not justified by the content
  • If you stop the big monthly payments, you lose everything

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

In this List Building Lifestyle review, we’ll dive into the pros and cons of the program.

But before that, let’s ask ourselves: Is email/affiliate marketing even a worthwhile business model?

On the one hand, the promise is great…

You don’t have to create products, worry about fulfillment, customer service, or bad reviews.

Your only job is to get the right customers in front of the right offer, and take a commission when they buy.

And - theoretically - you can do it all in an hour a day from the beach.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, not really. Driving traffic (that’s internet speak for getting customers) is single-handedly the hardest part of the entire marketing process.

Later in this review, we’ll talk about all the different skills you need to drive traffic successfully.

For now, let’s just say the promise doesn’t really match up with reality.

At best, affiliate marketing is a job. You’re working for someone else, selling their products, and at any time, they can change your commission structure or block you from selling their stuff entirely.

In this business, you don’t really own or control anything. Since - for the most part - you’re driving traffic (again, the hardest job of all) and sending it to someone else, you don’t even get to keep the customers, who are the most valuable piece of the puzzle.

At worst, affiliate marketing is a pyramid scheme. There are certain - ahem - programs that charge you a monthly “membership fee”, under the guise that you will learn how to be a “wealthy affiliate marketer”.

Once you join, however, you find out the only way to really make money is by being an affiliate for that program.

That’s pretty much the textbook definition of a pyramid scheme.

Now, let’s say you really want that hour-a-day-work-from-the-beach lifestyle.

Living The Beach Lifestyle

What if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours before seeing your first dollar
  • Doing all the hard work of driving traffic to only get a tiny commission
  • Running your business on someone else’s terms

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day testing, tweaking, and risking your money in the hope you can finally start making sales?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

Still Getting Paid This is like taking all the good parts from affiliate marketing (however few there are), and putting aside all the bad.

However, if you’d still like to know more about List Building Lifestyle, keep reading.

What Is List Building Lifestyle?

Elite Affiliate Reviews Training

List Building Lifestyle Club

I should note that List Building Lifestyle isn’t being marketed as a full email marketing course. It’s supposed to be like a secret society of a ‘list-building community.’

In the List Building Club, you’ll be able to tap into Igor’s inner circle and make connections with people you might not have met outside of the club otherwise.

When you pay your high monthly fee, you are paying for access to a network of other list-builders.

This means that you’ll be able to compare notes with other list builders to discover what worked and what didn’t.

I’m gonna be honest with you though – this feels like paying for a service that can be accomplished through a well-maintained Facebook group at lesser cost.

But What's Inside List Building Lifestyle?

Other than acting as a glorified Facebook group**, List Building Lifestyle** is all about building email lists, as the name implies.

That is all there is to it. You won’t be able to use any other component of internet marketing.

The only ‘transferable’ information you will gain from this course is how to run advertisements and the different forms of traffic generating he discusses, and you lose all that once the monthly expenses stop.

Here’s some more details on what you’ll get if you join the program:

Monthly AMA’s With Igor

online business 1

Every month, Igor will speak on a live stream where you will be able to ask him questions on how to achieve marketing success.

I am not sure if it’s possible to really get one-on-one coaching with Igor. I suppose it all depends on how popular the program becomes and how many people tune in to the livestreams.

Somehow, I doubt he will make time unless you are willing to shell out ungodly sums of money.

This concept would be great if you had the opportunity to have all of your questions answered all of the time, but these sorts of streams often do not allow users to comment or discuss.

"The Hot Seat"

Your website or marketing plan is examined and evaluated when you’re on the hot seat.

This is a designation that is given seemingly at random to users of the program.

This sounds helpful, but it is not clear about the frequency of the evaluation, and how the follow-ups go. If it really is an in-depth look at issues within your marketing program, then great.

But that remains to be seen.

As far as we are aware, it will not be Igor personally examining your material.

Community

As aforementioned, the program’s key selling point is where you get to rub elbows with industry’s leading vendors.

One of the most effective methods to improve and succeed is to surround yourself with like-minded people.

The caliber of the members here determines how much value you receive. Is the community composed of beginners or successful people in the industry?

Seems like mostly other beginners, as far as we can tell.

Real Training

Elite Affiliate Pro Reviews This course doesn’t provide much training, however – you’re mostly paying for a fancy Facebook group.

There is, however, some real training available.

You’ll get the 6-step affiliate checklist Igor used to produce 11 different affiliate paydays, for example.

Email Swipes

Finally, you’ll have access to ten "email swipes" (techniques and messaging) Igor uses in his campaigns.

But because you need to adapt emails to your audience and your offer, this isn’t very useful. They may end up beings very different from the “swipes” provided.

What Is Igor Kheifets' Book?

Igor Kheifets wrote a book and worked on a course with the same namesake: List Building Lifestyle.

List Building Lifestyle Book Is It The Best In Internet Marketing

List Building Lifestyle: Confessions of an Email Millionaire was published in 2019, which reviewers received somewhat well.

At the beginning of the book, it paints a picture of two individuals as if living in a parallel universe. One of them enjoys vacation and works for a few hours in coffee shops and has his own business, and the other one is still jailed in the rat race of nine to five.

If you’re the first, you may have finally figured out how to unlock the doors to freedom and limitless possibilities.

The digital age economy has the potential to break the link between hours and dollars, allowing you to earn a disproportionate amount of money for your time commitment from anywhere in the world, a fact which Igor tries to tap into within his book.

According to Igor, his story was written for people who desire to increase their income while increasing their freedom.

With permission-based email marketing, he claims that you’ll be able to generate more money in the next 12 months than you did in the previous 12 years – of course, only if you use the ideas in the book he’s pitching…

Who Owns List Building Lifestyle?

Igor Kheifets of List Building Lifestyle Club

Igor Kheifets claims to be one of the highest-paid email marketers out there.

Igor specializes in assisting regular people in breaking the relationship between their time and their earnings.

igor solo ads review

He’s the founder of Igor Solo Ads, which consistently rank high on the list of elite traffic agency. It has helped thousands of people without any prior experience develop a massively profitable email list.

He’s been around for a while, and at first he claims to have been exclusively into solo ads and paid traffic until he finally discovered email marketing.

What Is Elite Affiliate Pro

He also launched a popular course called Elite Affiliate Pro, which teaches you how to generate money by doing the following:

  • Identifying specialized audiences in need of solutions to anything (pain, difficulties, issues, etc…).
  • Using paid ads to direct these specific audiences to your landing pages (pay per click networks).
  • Email list building and offering bonuses on those landing pages.
  • Then, using email marketing, promoting it in such a manner that affiliate sales are generated.

List Building Lifestyle Show with Igor Kheifets

Igor has a YouTube Channel and podcast titled, guess what? List Building Lifestyle Show.

In his YouTube Channel, it doesn't even look like he's concerned about the size of the channel at all and just posts videos about things he wants to talk about in the internet marketing space.

How Much Does List Building Lifestyle Cost?

list building lifestyle cost

Your membership will cost you $97 each month! This is justified by Igor since you will receive 'benefits' monthly...

...but some folks are calling out these "perks" as nothing of much value.

Should you want to cancel your subscription, you can no longer access any of the material that you invested in all those months.

However, at $97 per month, the cost can be justified as long as the content is good as long as your business is up and running on its own.

If you’re years into this thing and still not seeing profits, then it’s safe to say the value is not there at all.

It is also rumored that there are upsells that cost thousands of dollars each time if you want to “unlock” the next batch of info…

In fact, one customer claimed to be quoted at $22k for cold email leads!

No good.

Refund Policy

list building lifestyle refund policy

It's worth noting that List Building Lifestyle comes with a free 7-day trial.

You must, however, pay for the entire month upfront.

You can get a refund "no questions asked" if you don't like the course within the first seven days, although some customers dispute the ease of actually receiving that.

List Building Lifestyle: What Does The Internet Have To Say?

What Does The Internet Have To Say

It starts off a little rough for Igor's program, according to these reviews:

"One Upsell after another...

I am half way through the training and my heart continues to sink - pay $197 to get started and then, you get one upsell after another. Now I am starting to feel suspicious. I looked for online reviews of happy students bragging about their new income ... I can't find any.

I found these reviews here and skimmed through the 300+ 5 star reviews and no one is in there stating how great the money is ... no one is talking about it being hard work, but that it paid off. Also, I wondered how hard it would be to post a review here - its as simple as making a comment. No one verified my purchase - I think bogus reviews are easy to make on here.

I wish Igor's program would just disclose upfront that the investment is going to be $XXXX for Dean's program and $XXXX for John's program - as a new person, I feel fear building... did I get into a system that I cannot afford?

I understand monthly fees for tools etc, but with all of the upselling, I now question whether I can be successful without signing up for all of the 'bonus' programs that cost an additional $1000 here and another $1000 there etc... with no end in sight, I am reluctant to move forward now.

Can I truly afford to do this $197 program? What is the total cost for success in this? CAN I afford it, will it be worth it?? The answer is a secret I guess... Where are all of the happy students posting their success????"

Not good so far!

"FAKE GURU TRYING TO SELL YOU ANOTHER USELSS COURSE!!!

Most of the reviews here are fake, the E-Farm course is not the price they advertise in their YT ads, you have to buy extra email templates and end up spending hundreds of dollars...Once you're in the course there are more upsells, including the opportunity to have them build you a list...

They ask for $1000 upfront to build you a 10,000 email list, they booked a call with me, and turns out the $1000 was just for the funnel building, if you want the 10,000 mailing list you will need to pay them $22,500, yes you heard me right, about $2.25 per lead, something which is not mentioned from the beginning of course..

The sales guy I had the call with was a bit aggressive and seemed desperate to get me to spend as much as possible, didn't feel comfortable at all...CLEARLY A SCAM, THEY MAKE MONEY BY ''TEACHING'' OTHER PEOPLE HOW TO MAKE MONEY AND USING FALSE ADVERTISING!!!"

Wow, that's pretty damaging if true. But let's be fair and check out a more positive take:

"3-Stars Due to Repeated Follow-up Offers Causing Confusion for Me as LBL Family Member

I gave 3-stars so Igor may know that once I became part of the LBL family, as I am relatively knew to the correct way to do affiliate marketing and list-building, I find it difficult to know which step to take next because I am constantly bombarded with daily offers from Igor for new products and services, and it is difficult to tell from the headlines/emails which of those offers I have already watched (leading me to watching some multiple times before realizing I've already watched), and which offers are not the right time for me to pursue before I complete whatever product or service I've bought but have not yet completed.

As an example, when I logged into my LBL account today, I had to click through a "new" landing page from Igor that said "Would you like me to build your list for you?" My option was to click "Yes", or "No, even though I won't get a second chance."

Well, I don't want to miss out, so I clicked "Yes", not knowing whether it is the same DFY program I have already purchased. Is there any way for Igor to turn off offers to LBL family members who have already bought the offer that is being presented to me? I can't tell anymore whether I've already bought the offer or already watched the (sometimes long) video, or whether it is a new offer for me? Thanks."

It can certainly be annoying to receive upsells, it's probably even more annoying to be told to buy the same thing again too...

Is List Building Lifestyle A Scam?

Scam or Legit

List Building Lifestyle is a legitimate program, and appears to have helped some loyal fans of Igor and his products.

My main issue with this product is that it is one-dimensional - it just focuses on list development as his internet marketing niche...and those monthly fees will rack up over time.

So, is List Building Lifestyle a scam?

Not technically.

You can make money with this program, but making money with affiliate marketing definitely isn’t as easy as the company makes it sound.

Driving traffic is extremely difficult. In order to do it successfully, you need to at least understand all these things, if not be a ninja at them:

  • Copywriting
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads
  • Content Writing
  • Website Building
  • Conversion Optimization
  • Automation
  • Email Marketing
  • Click Tracking
  • Retargeting/Remarketing
  • SEO
  • Backlinking

And a lot more.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and - most importantly - the actual commissions are pretty small.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months and then your reward is a $50 commission, it’s not really worth it.

What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you only needed 1 or 2 of the above skills to get started, instead of mastering all 12 before seeing your first dollar?

And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

Are There Alternatives To List Building Lifestyle?

alternatives

Yes, there are plenty of Affiliate Marketing programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Affiliate Marketing, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own customers.

Look at the fine print for most affiliate agreements. At any point, the company can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

Feeling Blessed

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

Scott Lead Gen

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with affiliate marketing, you’d have to double your traffic, double the average order size of each customer, OR double your commission rate. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

Lance Lead Gen 1

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With affiliate marketing, you’re selling the product with the best commission rate, NOT the one that’s going to improve the most people’s lives.

And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.

But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like List Building Lifestyle which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
