Grow Channels Review (Updated 2024): Is Razvan Paraschiv's YouTube Automation Legit?

Razvan and his team aim to deliver the best "faceless YouTube channel ideas" to their students who want to learn how to make money from YouTube full time.

More and more people join the site all the time, and pretty much everyone likes to click around watching videos all day...so why not make some money on it?

Should you really trust Grow Channels to deliver you a "YouTube Cash Cow channel"?

Not really.

I get it, it sounds cool, and today's economy sucks. Inflation makes everything more expensive, and no one can afford a house...you want out of that 9-5 rat race, and that makes a ton of sense.

Just don't jump at the first big shiny object that you see.

Think about the concept that's actually being pitched here: automated YouTube channels. What does that really mean?

It means you pay foreign workers basically nothing per video, receiving questionable quality in return. If you wanna stand out from all the crazy viral videos going around - not to mention the already-established mega-channels with millions of subscribers.

Oh, and there's a huge problem I have with this kind of thing:

Bribing people to give fake reviews before they've even finished the course and tried to start their own channel?

Brutal.

This kind of thing makes me throw out all the bad reviews and just look at the bad ones, which are not pretty...

So yeah, normally I like to start these reviews by giving the guru the benefit of the doubt and trying to weigh it all out, but Razvan has a lot to learn if he wants a long career in the coaching industry.

He also needs to work on his English skills - this is not an insult, it's a reality. It's already difficult learning new concepts for a lot of people, so they at least need to be able to understand the words you're saying.

Let me be real here: I just don't see a lot of upside with the Grow Channels YouTube Automation program. If you want to learn how to make a YouTube video to succeed, it needs to be made with passion, and you can't just hand it off to random workers for fifty bucks.

But I'm not gonna leave you empty-handed here.

I recently stumbled onto something called Digital Leasing, which is basically a form of lead generation where you bring in clients to small, local businesses.

It's not a typical course - this one actually has a seasoned mentor with extensive industry knowledge who passes the torch onto you, which I think is pretty cool.

YouTube money sounds awesome, and it is technically recession-proof...but it's also something that'll take years to succeed with, if it happens at all.

In the meantime, try something that could have you working from a beach.

Grow Channels might be for you if...

1. You aren't patient enough to wait years to get paid
2. The sketchy fake reviews have you a little concerned
3. You need something real and reliable

Business Model

It's easy to look at e-celebrities like Jake and Logan Paul and think "man, if these knuckleheads can get rich off YouTube, why can't I?"

But as silly as those guys can be sometimes, they had one really important thing going for them: timing.

I don't mean comedic timing, or timing of boxing punches - although they're not the worst at either.

I'm talking about joining the YouTube Partner Program way back before it got so crazy oversaturated! They were teenagers back then too, not having to worry about paying bills or supporting a family or anything like that.

I'm not trying to crush your dreams or anything like that, but if your dreams involve faceless YouTube channels...well, you're a little weird, no offense.

Usually if someone really has a passion for making cool, interesting YouTube content, they won't outsource all the work to foreign workers or try to rip off other people's content for a buck.

If you really wanna be on YouTube, then I think you should do it - but you don't need a YouTube course for that. Figure out what you're really into, and just start putting things together. One step at a time.

But I don't think that's why most of you are here.

You're here for that financial freedom, and you're wondering if the Grow Channels course has what it takes to get you rich. Well, even if Razvan's online course was the best in the world, I'm not sure it would really matter...

...because the business model just doesn't make sense.

I've actually done some YouTubing back in the day! It was a lot of fun, and you can see some solid growth over time. But sometimes that's a long time!

If it's your passion and you're doing it on the side, then that's not a big deal. But if you're really looking for a solid source of income that can get you out of the rat race, then you probably don't have years to waste hoping that you can see some money here.

Take a look at the quote above from an article about how much people actually make on YouTube.

If a 1 million-view video makes $5,000 for you...that won't even cover the cost of Razvan's full course.

Now consider that Razvan, a supposed YouTube guru, has a little over 30k subscribers, and his most-viewed video is a little over 100k views.

Now, 100k is not terrible at all! But most of his videos have less than 10k views...so you can do the math, and realize you'd have to be uploading all the time and spending a lot of money on your workers to design great content for you at a low wage.

And if a guy like Razvan can't get a million views - what chance does a newcomer have, especially when they're just starting out?

It just seems like an uphill battle to me, one that can be avoided if you look at some other online industries out there.

Instead of putting your entire destiny into algorithms and all of your time into a pipe dream, why not take control of your life?

Do something where you don't need to wait years to see profits, and where you can reduce competition by focusing on small businesses local to you.

It's bad odds to try to jump on something when it's already too big - look at NFTs, nobody even cares about that anymore.

Instead, you should be looking for the next big thing before everyone else jumps onboard.

Imagine where you'd be if you started a YouTube channel before 2010? Or if you bought bitcoin back when it first came out? I'm telling you, Digital Leasing might just be that next wave...

Who Is Razvan Paraschiv?

Razvan Paraschiv is a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit, and a very annoying name to spell out repeatedly!

He also doesn't mention much about himself.

It appears he is of Romanian descent, and I'm guessing he was born there since his accent is so thick! He now lives a luxurious Dubai lifestyle.

Usually gurus will have those "rags to riches" stories, some of which are actually true.

While I'm glad Razvan didn't make anything up, his Grow Channels website doesn't have us entirely sure about who he is, and I find that a hard sell, personally.

On one hand, it's nice that he focuses on the course and doesn't waste time...on the other hand, if you get the wrong mentor, then it can totally wreck an otherwise nice idea.

Unfortunately, you're pretty much gonna have to gamble on this mysterious kid, and hope he has your best interests at heart.

One thing I can say is that he clearly knows how to market himself. He barely has any info online, can barely speak English, but apparently he charges a ton of money for a course that might not even work!

That doesn't really make me like him more, but it does make me think he has some brains and could improve in the future.

I also found it weird that he doesn't really have a huge YouTube following, considering his entire program is about how easy it is to get rich off of the site...

How Much Does Grow Channels YouTube Automation Cost?

It's really hard to find any pricing on the Grow Channels website, which I don't really like. Usually transparency is a good look, and I don't see it here.

In this case, I did some digging and found out that Razvan will tempt people with a $47-$97 price tag for an "intro course" that basically just teaches everything he already puts out on his free YouTube channel...

...but then comes an upsell. As you can see in the screenshot above, Razvan now charges $6,800 for YouTube tips.

This is a very high price for the value you are receiving, in my opinion.

As we saw earlier in this review, a 1 MILLION-VIEW video might only get you $5,000...and Razvan himself has never come close to getting a viral video like that.

In other words, the odds aren't high you'll even make the money back, never mind make a profitable career out of all this

What Is Grow Channels' Refund Policy?

Razvan got very defensive when former students began calling out his course on Reddit, which is somewhat understandable.

He claims to have a money-back guarantee if you can "show the evidence", which is usually a way for gurus to say "you didn't try hard enough" and deny a refund.

Maybe I'm wrong, but there's no terms-and-conditions page on his website, so I don't see anything that legally protects your money via a formal refund policy.

So...is Razvan legit?

It depends what you mean.

Technically, a scam artist doesn't provide any value at all, just taking your money and leaving you with nothing. Razvan probably does teach you a thing or two about YouTube...but I'm just not sure it's worth all that money.

If this really was a sub-$100 course, I could see some value in that, but even then I still wouldn't recommend this business model.

It's just basically impossible to get any sense of financial freedom from low-quality videos you make by paying for cheap labor.

So if the course is basically worthless based on the business model alone, then that's not a very strong start.

I also think bribing students (who haven't even done the course yet) with a hundred bucks for giving him 5-star reviews is very sketchy. If a coach has a quality program, it will speak for itself. Maybe you can ask your students to go give a review if they're enjoying themselves...but any kind of financial incentive, especially when they haven't even tried using the knowledge yet?

It's just a very bad look.

Stick to a stable industry that'll pay the bills, and might even make you rich. One where you're not pouring in work, hoping for some kind of miracle lottery ticket. You just bring clients in for local businesses, and the companies will hand you a nice stack of cash every month...

...personally, I don't think new customers will ever be out of demand!

Personal Opinion On Grow Channels

So, how do I recommend you choose the right program?

• Check to see that the guru has been doing this for a while
• Can you picture yourself doing this for the rest of your life?
• How long will it take you to see any profits?

Razvan is one of the worst gurus out there, in my opinion.

But to be fair, how about a quick 3 things I like about him and his program:

1. YouTube is definitely a place where you can make money if you do it right
2. Hiring cheap workers on Fiverr might save you time
3. If you already have a popular channel, then maybe this makes more sense

...and, to be fair, 3 things I don't really like:

1. Razvan bribes his students to write fake reviews
2. TONS of competition on YouTube these days
3. Could easily take years for you to see any profits

What's Inside Grow Channels' YouTube Automation?

There is very little info out there about how many modules (if any) there are in Razvan's program, or how it's all organized, or what kind of help you really get.

Here is a quote I found:

"I myself unfortunately fell in to their trap and paid them $6800 of my hard earned money and joined their course. All they do is, to teach you to find a successful YouTube channel and exactly copy them! And that is a so called "automation system" so I had to spend a lot of money to hire people to make the contents for me from script writing, voice over, video editing and thumbnail design.. on average I spent around $700/month to create contents and guess what! I made NOTHING! Stay away from these charlatans and save your money for something else.."

So, it sounds like Razvan will instruct you to go out and hire people to work with:

• Script writing
• Voiceover work
• Video editing
• Thumbnail graphic design

And the people who do one of those things, probably don't do the other stuff.

In other words, you might have to hire a bunch of separate people who all need to get paid.

This user sounds like they actually took a lot of time and effort to follow Razvan's program, and it didn't get him anywhere except deeper in debt.

$700/month in addition to the $6,800 course fee is an absurd level of expenses, especially considering it sounds like this student didn't make a dollar in revenue.

Conclusion: Grow Channels YouTube Automation

So, should you fork over that cold-hard cash to Razvan's team over in Dubai?

No, I seriously doubt it.

Come on now, there are so many better industries to get started in.

YouTube is cool if you're really passionate about something, but the moneymaking scheme he's talking about doesn't make sense - the numbers don't add up.

It's super difficult to make money on YouTube even off of one viral video, and it's even harder to consistently score huge viewership numbers.

You're setting yourself up for failure with YouTube automation, plain and simple. And while it's clear Razvan is a great marketer, his tactics of bribing students to leave nice reviews leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Your mentor is everything, so you don't want to start off with dishonesty. Maybe Razvan will get better one day, but for now he has a lot to learn.

In the meantime, you should check out what Digital Leasing has to offer. It's basically the opposite of YouTube automation: stable, tons of financial upside, and you're not gonna have to beat out thousands of other channels when it comes to building a relationship with small businesses online.

Take control of your future build up something you can be proud of, giving you more time to spend with family and friends. It doesn't take long to get rolling, and the mentor of my favorite lead gen course actually cares about his students' success.

...and if you do it long enough, you can sit back on the beach and watch the numbers roll in.
