Ready to explore dropshipping?
I’m not exactly sure why you’d want to in this day and age, to be honest.
The industry had its moment in the sun and is now just clinging on.
It’s riskier than ever with powerful corporations like Amazon and Wal-Mart taking bigger and bigger cuts, and shutting down your page without a second thought.
But hey, gurus like to say that dropshipping offers an opportunity to grow your business at minimum capital.
What’s not to like about an offer like that, right?
Let’s see as we dig deeper into dropshipping and an app called Spocket.
We’re going to review Spocket to decide if it really is the best dropshipping course out there, and explore whether there are any alternatives for making passive income online.
Let’s dive in.
DISCLAIMER:
This Spocket Review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.
Spocket isn’t too different from most dropshipping courses.
Sure, their marketing makes some great promise you haven’t heard from the other dropshipping gurus, but at the end of the day, no magic bullet overcomes the massive pitfalls of this business model.
Let’s get something clear:
There is NOTHING passive about dropshipping, no matter how well most course creators sell the dream.
If you want that travel-the-world-making-money-while-you-sleep-laptop-lifestyle, dropshipping isn’t for you.
To run a successful dropshipping business, you need to be constantly on the lookout for new products.
Scouring the internet for hot trends and trying to find the next fidget spinner will take hours out of your day.
Not to mention, it’s not enough to just have the hot new product…
You also need to get the customers.
That means ads…
Lots and lots of ads…
Testing, tweaking, targeting, spending thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars before breaking even.
Not to mention, Facebook hates dropshipping, meaning one of your top traffic sources could shut you down at any time.
All of this leads to a very stressful life, not a lot of money, and a lot of time wasted.
Time that could be better spent so you can actually live the life you want.
Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000).
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day running ads, researching products, and trying not to get banned by whatever platforms you’re using?
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Real Estate.
This is nothing like dropshipping, and that’s probably a good thing.
However, if you’d still like to know more about Spocket, keep reading.
Before we go into the details of this Spocket review, it is essential you understand what a “dropshipping platform” really is.
In a nutshell, this is a business model which enables entrepreneurs to run an eCommerce shop with no warehousing their inventory or sometimes even avoiding paying high upfront costs for their inventory.
Rather, with drop shipping, you put items for your online shop, and once you are making a transaction, the order is then sent to the supplier to be fulfilled – sometimes you can even set up automated order fulfillment.
In a nutshell, the Spocket app works with both Woocommerce and Shopify stores, among others.
With a few clicks of a button, you can launch a dropshipping online business selling goods from suppliers located in the U.K., U.S., and the E.U. (you might, in addition, discover a couple of merchants located in New Zealand & Australia).
It does appear that Spocket is one of the more reliable suppliers in this field, although that’s not saying a whole lot.
Spocket is somewhat different from most other dropshipping apps available on the market, as most other solutions focus on things sourced from Aliexpress dropshipping – although Spocket hosts services for them as well.
Moreover, Spocket claims to have an enormous marketplace to journey around in; there are hundreds of thousands of items in there (including print-on-demand goods).
This is where you can research potential suppliers who may be in a position to assist you to better meet up with your clients’ requirements.
Additionally, you can purchase sample products from a range of vendors on Spocket. You can also use these samples to check the pace of delivery and take your very own product photos.
After you are satisfied with your product(s) choice, you can import them into your eCommerce shop.
Spocket’s high-quality goods come with pre-negotiated discounts of as much as 60% from the retail price. In that way, you’ve got the chance to create much more of a profit on each product sold.
70% of Spocket’s vendors are located in Europe or U.S., not just China.
That’s why your customers usually receive their orders between two and five days (not the normal one-month waiting period that is very common with some other drop shipping companies).
Here are the features that Spocket boasts about:
Spocket can be integrated with the leading eCommerce platforms.
60% of Spocket’s vendors are based in the U.S. and E.U.
Spocket seeks to allow profit margins between 30% to 60% (although this means they can still take a large cut)
Spocket’s vetting process helps vendors provide reliable and high-quality products.
When you include Spocket items in your shop, they convert immediately towards your Shopify store’s currency.
Spocket allows you to use branded invoicing.
“Wonderful feedback.”
You can ask for product samples for quality management.
Automatic order processing assures you do not need to manually send orders from your shop to the proper Spocket supplier.
The Starter plan is reasonable enough to get going.
Spocket comes with a great variety of items to select from, and new vendors are added frequently.
Spocket updates its inventory levels automatically with real-time info.
While both Oberlo and Spocket hold impressive positions on the Shopify app store, Spocket has swiftly covered ground that Oberlo lost.
Oberlo can be utilized for impulse buy products and a fast buck.
For sustainable business growth, Spocket has targeted some pain points that retailers faced when operating dropshipping businesses on Shopify.
Spocket claims to offer further assistance through their customer support, too. Spocket also uses cookies to improve the user experience and functionality of the site, for whatever that is worth.
Then again, there are also reports that they ignore user emails and do not provide strong support at all, which is not good.
So, we prefer Spocket than Oberlo, although there are much better alternatives to the industry as a whole.
So, is Spocket dropshipping a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as the Spocket team and their fancy website makes it sound.
There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – you need to do a ton of volume to make any real money.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.
But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months, $3-5k in the hole on ads (because that whole “get started with $5 a day” thing is total BS) and then your reward is 15% profit on a $12 product (which comes out to $1.80), it’s not really worth it.
What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?
And what if you could double it next week?
Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate.
And, unlike dropshipping, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.
Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.
Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:
A camper in the middle of the woods
A beach chair on the water in Mexico
A small villa in Greece
They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.
Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.
So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.
And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.
If this sounds more like the type of life you want to lead, just click here to find out more about Digital Real Estate.
When dropshipping, you are dealing with the danger of teaming up with unreliable vendors, problems with shipping, bad products, delivery times, and whatnot. And this is often a serious pain, particularly for aspiring beginners.
Spocket tries to get rid of that pain by offering you the way to guarantee the speed of delivery and quality of products.
For example, there is the sampling ability you receive as a customer. It’s been made very simple to evaluate the items of vendors by getting samples.
If you’re not happy, just don’t drop ship the item you’re looking at.
And maybe get out of dropshipping altogether while you’re at it.
Spocket pricing comes with a range of options.
Apparently, you can start free, but it’s pretty bare-bones at that level.
The free plan used to offer you a bunch of these features, which you now have to shell out at least $30 per month to receive:
As your business expands, there is a pretty good possibility you will wish to market more of Spocket’s products. At this point, you will need to buy the “Pro Plan” for $49 monthly. This lets you import as many as 250 products.
Nevertheless, in case you need more, you will be much better off with the “Empire Plan” which entitles you to a limitless amount of products. The only thing is, this is the most costly option and can set you back $99 monthly.
With the Pro Plan, you will get everything in the free package, along with:
Both the Pro and the Empire bundle provide exclusive products. These work wonders to help you stand out from a progressively competitive marketplace.
You can also send branded invoices to your clients. Spocket will instantly create them on your behalf, and they will include:
You will also get access to phone-based support.
Apparently the Spocket phone staff isn’t half-bad, but talking to call centers is rarely enjoyable.
You must also note: each Spocket product has an instant currency exchange feature. Thus, in case you are promoting to clients across the world, it shouldn’t matter.
As previously stated, Spocket enables you to choose products and print-on-demand items (which you can make use of alongside Oberlo and Printful).
You can pick from a bunch of merchandise categories, including:
You can look through their array of products by typing search phrases into their search engine bar or using their price filter.
When you would like to stop your Spocket subscription, you are free to do this at any time.
You are not locked into any lengthy contracts.
Some customers complain that they are refused their refund – it’s hard to say what’s true.
Yes, you can make money with Spocket through your online store – though it may be more of a slog than their talking points make it out to be.
Just understand that there’s a lot that comes along with dropshipping that many people struggle with.
In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Drop Shippers Fail.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with dropshipping, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become a drop shipper (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month teaches some of the same dropshipping skills but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.
“Should you use Spocket?
Hey folks, I thought I’d take some time to give you some information about Spocket, and whether or not you should use them. I had the opportunity of working closely with Spocket and know quite a bit about the company both through working with them and my own research. Since I often see people post here asking if they should use it or not, I thought I’d share some things I think the dropshipping community should know about spocket.
I’d like to note that many of the things I’m going to say here are at least partially verifiable, especially if you seek out negative reviews of them.
Q: What is Spocket?
A: Effectively an Oberlo clone.
Q: Should I use Spocket?
Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: Your mileage may very but you are better off sticking to more traditional method of dropshipping. Spocket’s platform is not designed to make your life as a dropshipper easier. It works in a functional sense, product imports, sellers, that kind of thing, but it’s by far the best option. Here’s what you should know:
Products: Spocket’s products are basically average. Essentially on par with ali express. You might get lucky and find a good porduct, but it depends on the seller. Products are usually overpriced, as Spocket upcharges.
Sellers: There are some sellers on spocket that are as they advertize. “Local and High Quality”. In reality, most of spocket’s sellers are dropshippers themselves. Some are even just amazon sellers. The tools to find good sellers are hard and it’s essentially hit or miss if you get what they advertise or just your average, cheap, chinese stuff.
Shipping Time: As with sellers. It’s totally hit or miss. A lot of the shipping is done from china (whether they say so or not), so shipping time is usually long.
Refunds: Spocket makes it very very hard to get your customer a refund. Because A) they don’t want to give out refunds, and B) because of the next point.
Customer Service: Spocket has absolutely terrible customer service. There are a lot of reasons for this, but the main one is that they really don’t care about their customers. This is where things get really frustrating with Spokcet. The only thing spocket cares about is your (the dropshippers) money, not the success of your business, or the quality of their service, they just want your money.
Paid Plans: This is the big one. Spocket’s main business model is their paid plans. Their goal with every customer is to get them onto their highest tier paid plan. This wouldn’t be an issue except for the fact it is EXTREMELY HARD to cancel your monthly plan. I’m not talking about having to click through a bunch of menus, no. In most cases, you’ll have to email them and get them to cancel it, and even that is a headache. What’s worse is that they have a no refunds policy for their plans, and mixed with their bad customer service, if they charge you, you’ve just lost over $100. In fact, this is how spocket generates most of their revenue. They offer a 14 day free trial, but ask for a payment method first. Then, once the 14 day free trial is over, they immediately charge you. There are hundreds of 1 star reviews detailing this exact issue if you don’t believe me.
Reviews: Speaking of reviews, sprocket knows their model is shitty and relies on naive users, so they fake reviews. Almost every site you go to (trustpilot, shopify, etc.), spocket has thousands of shallow, 5 star reviews. They get these by offering free trials for good reviews, botting, and through other deceptive means.
Image: As with reviews, most of spocket’s brand image is fake. Youtubers and bloggers who “Tried and Loved Spocket” were paid to say that. Even Spocket’s corporate image is the result of coercing employees to write good things about their employer. Furthermore, I’d bet some poor employee will comment under this post asking to contact support or apologizing for a “poor experience”.
Conclusion: Spocket is a company that is superficially interested in dropshipping and actually cares very little about the quality of their service or their dropshipper customers. If Spocket has worked for you, awesome! I’m glad you’re making your business work. If you’ve tried spocket, I’d check your bank account to make sure they aren’t still charging you for that free trial you signed up for. To everyone else: avoid Sprocket and stick to traditional dropshipping.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions in the comments.
TL;DR: Spocket isn’t good. Fake reviews and subpar service overall.”
“So I am a dropshipper as well as a Shopify Partner and Expert. I design Shopify dropshipping and eCommerce stores as well through my studio Franky’s Studio. Ill give you a bit of my dropshipping history. I have been in the game for a few years now, and the one thing i can tell you is its not just about your products.
I built my first, second and third stores quite a while ago and used both Oberlo & AliExpress with no success. The failures were not because of the the great site design, or lack of customer service or anything on that front. Where I ran into the biggest problems was shipping times, product quality, and the horrible customer service i received from both Oberlo and Ali. Its great to be selling products, but if you do 10k in a month and 8500 gets charged back because the product is crap or the delivery time was 6 weeks you’ll never get ahead and you’ll work until your dead.
I don’t know about you but I want ed to be in the position to make money while I sleep. When I found Spocket and Modalyst I checked them both out. Both offer US and EU products, both claimed to have fast shipping times, but they varied in price. I chose Spocket because they offered great suppliers, that when i did my research i noticed lots of people had great things to say about them.
When I opened my 4th and 5th stores, i went with Spocket! I entered the Women’s Fitness/Streetwear Niche (most saturated niche in the game), and the dog/puppy niche. Although I’m not quite where i want to be yet,(i am making great money though) probably because of my design studio, it gets better every month and ill tell you why. The products are better, the shipping times are way faster and if i have a problem Spocket has exceptional customer service.
I had a billing issue that was really weird and approached them with my issue. Saba the CEO/Founder contacted me within 20 minutes of my post and complaint and made it right. Not only did he fix my billing issue but he took care of me and my business like it was his own and made me feel like i was part of the family.
Spocket now has a great community for learning called Spocket Academy! This added with all of the other great benefits makes it a no brainer. I suggest you check it out. There are a ton of great people that contribute to the Academy and can virtually help you with anything from logo design and layout, to marketing, and product selection.
So to answer your question. Get away from what 90% of the industry does, (aliexpress because its easy) and get serious about your dropshipping store and go with Spocket. You won’t regret it.”
“Misleading Subscription plans. Unauthorised Transactions
I saw an advertisement on facebook for sprocket.co and this ignited my curiosity of what this website is about. When you go to their website, the only option that is apparent to view what they do is to subscribe for a 14 day free trial. I was charged USD 1,380 straightaway. If you guys/girls read the comments you’ll see that a lot of the negative reviews have had billing issues. IT looks like their business model revolves around misleading customers into paying money they didn’t think they needed to pay for services that they don’t understand. I’ve started a dispute with Paypal and my credit card company, but after reading the other comments I’m not so hopeful about recovering my money. Well, If i don’t get my money back, all I can really do is go on all the forums, review sites and improve awareness of spocket.co and their practices to make sure nobody else has the same problems.
Update 10/01/2021
They’ve emailed me in a robotic monotonous message using buzzwords like “Policy” “Best Interest” and said they won’t be refunding the US$1,380 that they’ve charged. This reiterates the fact that they make their money from subscription errors. Try looking at spocket.co’s negative reviews on shopify. there were 157, 1 star reviews on 10/01/2021, not sure if they have the clout to change that in the future. You’re actually better off investing this money in the share market or even on gambling and casinos because there’s a remote possibility that you’ll get some use out of it.
I’m also doing a google review today with pictures showing that the products listed on their website are 50%-300% more expensive than retail. Also FYI they’ve suspended my premium access even though they’ve taken money for my premium access up to 9/01/2022.
Update 24/01/2021
Still haven’t recovered a single dollar of the USD1,380 they charged me. Was sick of dealing with customer service denying any obligation to refund, so I told them I’m going to raise a complaint with the ACCC, they immediately said they’ll refund half my money. I didn’t fall for that strategy, I said I want the whole thing back and pressed on with a dispute through PayPal. What was surprising was that spocket.co have very few people in customer service, most of their people are employed in fighting billing disputes and censoring negative reviews, because they’ve put a lot of effort in building a case to not refund me through PayPal. PayPal hasn’t had a verdict yet, but we’ll see what happens. I have a few other avenues after that. Not posting it now to make sure spocket.co aren’t aware of my next move. Also, STILL NO PREMIUM ACCESS. I’ve paid For a service that they’ve suspended, and they’re refusing to refund the money.
Update 10/02/2021
Finally got my money back. The whole lot. Spocket.co fought it TILL THE END.
I tried disputing it through ANZ (totally useless) and PAYPAL, was thinking of ACCC as well but that’s slow.
THANKS TO PAYPAL I have my money back.
I’m now going to start a Vlog about how scammy spocket.co is and why you shouldn’t deal with them.”
Yes, there are plenty of Dropshipping programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:
100K Blueprint
Oberlo
The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.
Why?
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With dropshipping, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own the products because they go straight from the supplier to the customer.
Yes, if you’ve got a Shopify store, you technically own that. But if every ad platform suits you down, you’ve got a store with no customers. Which is literally worthless.
With Digital Real Estate, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) No Inventory: Ok, so technically you don’t have to worry about inventory since you’re not filling up your garage or a warehouse with products.
But, you still have all the headaches of a physical products business.
Since most dropshipped products come from China, you already have a 2-3 week wait time from when a customer places an order.
But right now, with global supply chain issues, your customers would be lucky to get anything in less than a month.
Imagine finally landing your first customer after months of experimenting, and then getting hit with a refund request or chargeback because they had to wait 6 weeks to get their order.
With Digital Real Estate, a 100% online business, you never even have to think about that risk.
5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you’d have to double your inventory, your profit margins, OR your average order value. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
6) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. 99.9% of the time, dropshipping provides no value to anyone but the seller.
In a lot of cases, it has a negative impact on the customer because of poor product quality and an overall bad experience (i.e. waiting 6 weeks to get your order).
And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.
But with Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Spocket which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Real Estate.

What action does spocket take if the suppliers do not deliver the goods within the promised time line? They donot even have a proper policies in place for this. They donot give 24 hrs service. Sayi g I a looking into it every time I write to them is not giving 24 hrs service. They are unable to get in touch with their suppliers and have been only apologizing for the delay I responding or coming up with a solution for more than 10 of my orders and I have been following up with them for the past 15 days. By far Spocket is the worst dropshipping company I have come across.
I made an account with them picked a plan and they didn’t give me the trial advertised. I immediately sent them a message ande it’s been a back and forth thing for over a week. Refusing to give me my trial and my money back.
They have used my credit card information without my approval and charged me for a membership even though I have canceled everything before the trial period ended. Further more, not only they used my credit card which was initially entered and then DELETED at the time I cancelled my plan under trial period, they still charged that credit card and did not represent any official invoice. I still did not receive a refund confirmation and would not be surprised if they charge my credit card again!!! Plus…to made sure they did not charge me anything at the time I deleted my account, on purpose I entered an unvalid credit card number for my account information and they went back and charged the one I initially entered. These falls under criminal financial activity actually, as an IT Auditor I know how apps works and there is no problem for them to see activity that each user makes under their account, so there should not be any problem for them to see and admit they made a “mistake”. I also sent them screenshots as a proof of my standpoint, the time and frame I cancelled the account, and what information was entered. At this point I don’t want a refund I want to contact their legal representative but nobody replied to that question.
i tried it i tried oberlo I AM DONE DROPSHIPPING THEUY BAN MY ACCOUNTS
IT DOESNT WORK ANYMORE
WIL LTRY ANYTHING ELSE LOL literally
Okay so I read all the nice things about them and their website seems professional – but they are liars. No help, overpriced, oversaturated.
This is the first review with some critical substance to it – I will try your recommendation based on that alone. We’ll see how that goes, can’t be worse.
dropshippin is dead bruh
