Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR: What's The Verdict On SEO For Writers?

What's The Verdict On SEO For Writers

Exploring SEO is a fantastic idea for writers aiming to elevate their skills and income. If you have a business, SEO becomes your ally, given that 68% of online experiences kick off with a search engine.

Larry claims to have "cracked the Google code" after years of trial and error. He said he has mastered the art of "consistently building up traffic." He asserts achieving top-ranking results even with Google's frequent algorithm updates.

Well, as they say, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But sticking to old rules may not be the best approach today.

SEO is ever-changing, requiring constant adaptation to modern algorithm shifts. Staying informed and learning to adjust ensures your online ranking remains secure.

Another thing is SEO for Writers only teaches on-page SEO. They don’t teach link building because that’s a “skillset not typically required by a writer.”

Google highlights backlinks as one of its top three ranking factors so it's also a valuable skill to have. If you’re planning to take this course to run an agency, it may not be what you need.

The lessons are all about basic copywriting and a background on how SEO works. It explores topics like writing the perfect headline and creating a good URL slug. These are things you already know if you are a writer.

If you’re okay with just learning keyword research, then by all means, go for Larry Ludwig’s course.

However, if you want to learn some real skills to start an online business, you should look elsewhere.

I know a program that could bring in anything from a few thousand to over $10,000 every month, practically on autopilot.

The best part is you could build this income stream in just a few hours per day and scale it as big or as small as you want.

If that piques your interest, you might want to explore Digital Leasing.

Who Benefits From SEO For Writers And Who Should Stay Away?

Who Benefits From SEO For Writers

According to the information on the SEO for Writers site, this course is designed to enhance your content to make it more discoverable by search engines.

Larry Ludwig is enthusiastic about assisting business owners in effectively utilizing technology and digital marketing.

Yet, it's essential to recognize that this course may not be suitable for everyone.

Let's narrow down who might benefit from it and who might need to reconsider.

SEO for Writers could be the right fit for you if:

  • You're a total beginner who wants to learn keyword research & SEO.
  • You're a freelancer looking to elevate your skills.

But, you might want to explore alternative options if:

  • You value external reviews. The program currently lacks reviews beyond its own website.
  • You're seeking a quick fix. SEO requires time to yield results.
  • You don’t believe that Larry “cracked the Google code.” Google's algorithm evolves constantly. SEO strategies need to adapt to keep up with these changes.

Business Model

Search engine optimization or SEO helps you to increase your website's visibility on search engines. The goal is to put you on top so when people look for products or services, you'll have a greater chance they'll pick you.

The goal of SEO is to draw in website visitors. They could potentially become customers, clients, or a loyal audience.

SEO is not a business model in itself. But you can use it as a strategy for different business models.

Here are the best business models for SEO:

Local Lead Generation:

Making money through local lead generation involves creating and ranking websites. This is done by targeting specific areas and keywords. For example, you might focus on offering services to a plumbing business in Brentwood, TN.

As a lead generation expert, your task is to build a site from scratch. Then go on improving its search engine rankings using proven SEO practices. Once at the top, reach out to local businesses in the area.

This business model can generate passive income. Especially in areas with lighter local competition.

What's My Personal Opinion On SEO For Writers?

If you've been following my journey here at ScamRisk, you know that I don't just talk. I've actively participated in various online money-making programs, earning income along the way. My recent exploration of the SEO for Writers course is no exception.

In the realm of online income businesses, negative reviews are prevalent. You see them on platforms like Reddit, Trustpilot, and the BBB. This negativity is often due to people with less-than-pleasant experiences being the most vocal.

It's crucial to bear in mind that a negative experience doesn't automatically label the course seller as a scam artist.

Navigating the confusing world of online reviews requires a strategic approach.

Here's how I go about choosing a program like SEO for Writers:

  1. Guru's Real-World Experience: Check if the guru, Larry Ludwig in this case, has genuine experience in running an SEO business.
  2. Supportive Community: See if the program offers a private Facebook group or coaching. You need a supportive network during the challenges and successes of running a business.
  3. Value for Money: Go beyond the program's price tag and assess what you're receiving. Check out the videos, assets, templates, and bonuses. It's about the value received, not just the cost.
  4. Transparency on Costs: Ensure that Larry Ludwig is upfront about ongoing costs and upsells. Make sure he provides clarity on what's required for success.
  5. Peer Success: Explore financial success stories within their private Facebook community. Public opinion matters, but it should be considered alongside the criteria mentioned above.

My Recommendation

My Recommendation

Now that we have our criteria, let's apply these to SEO for Writers and see how it measures up.

Larry is a veteran with 20 years of experience in creating websites. He even sold one of his sites for $6 million. So the experience of the guru is positive.

However, here are the top reasons why I can't recommend SEO for Writers:

  1. Limited Facebook Group Access: One notable drawback is the restricted access to the Facebook community. It is apparently free for only one year.
  2. Lack of Reviews and Testimonials: The absence of TrustPilot, Reddit, or BBB reviews makes it challenging to gauge external opinions and experiences.
  3. Dynamic Nature of SEO: It's crucial to understand that SEO is not a one-size-fits-all solution. While Larry Ludwig claims to have cracked the Google code, the dynamic nature of SEO requires continuous adaptation. Strategies must be adjusted regularly to align with modern algorithm changes.

Is There A Potential SEO For Writers Scam?

Potential SEO For Writers Scam

Time to address the million-dollar question: Is there any truth to the SEO for Writers scam allegations?

No, it's technically not a "scam." Making money with SEO optimized content is possible. And to be honest, if you’re already stuck in some 9-5, it’s not a bad gig.

But, it's important to understand that you're not building a lasting business. You're essentially trading one job for another.

The luxury of leisurely sipping coconuts on the beach might not be in the cards because you'll always be exchanging your time for money.

This doesn't mean SEO for Writers is inherently bad. It just requires a realistic perspective on what you're investing in.

Consider this: A significant portion of your day is spent writing for a few dollars per hour. That time could be better spent establishing a reliable recurring income stream.

Imagine dedicating a few hours of your free time each day to generate a consistent $500-$2,000 check that continues to arrive month after month.

What if you could receive that first payment within a week and double or triple it by month's end?

That's what's achievable with Digital Leasing.

I have friends who run six-figure Digital Leasing businesses while:

  • Camping in the wild
  • Lounging on a beachfront in the Maldives
  • Backpacking through Southeast Asia

They prioritize living an enjoyable life first and work second, all thanks to this program.

They can take extended breaks, and money keeps rolling in.

If the idea of living perpetually at your dream vacation spot intrigues you, Digital Leasing might be the perfect fit!

Conclusion: To Buy Or Not To Buy SEO For Writers?

So, should you consider joining SEO for Writers?

No, I wouldn't recommend it.

Learning SEO can be a valuable asset in any business. No doubt about that. However, SEO for Writers only tackles SEO and won’t teach you how to start an online business.

There are other programs out there that can teach you SEO and a couple of other skills to make recurring monthly income.

My preferred method is Digital Leasing. You can learn more about it here.

What's My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Alright, time for me to get real with my lovely readers for a moment:

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify
  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

THAT BEING SAID: I would at least recommend you implement something that is tried and true, because I’ve seen TOO MANY people (including friends and family) get burned by stuff like SEO for Writers.

They come out of left field with some random idea, make it seem attractive, and then make themselves a quick buck by luring in unsuspecting people.

I’m not saying SEO for Writers itself is a piece of trash, I’m just saying you need to be very, very careful.

This is a big reason why I only recommend proven, tried and true business models, like Lead Generation & Ad Agencies.

There are a bunch of programs out there that teach you those skills, but my top choice is Digital Leasing.

Why? It has proven leaders with their own 7-figure businesses implementing exactly what they teach you.

I’ve also got over a dozen personal friends in there, so I feel comfortable telling you it works.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, their program works.

Here’s Why:

1)Time: SEO content creation takes time. It takes at least four hours on average for a 1,000 to 1,500-word article. You are essentially trading time for money in SEO writing.

That's why I love Digital Leasing.

If you’ve got a spare hour-or-two each day, you can do this. If you want to drop everything and go all-in, you can do this. More time obviously means faster results, but even putting in a few hours per day is enough to see real success.

And because of that flexibility, you don’t need to trade your time for money. Once the income starts, it’s recurring (for the most part).

That means you can take a month off, travel the country, pursue a passion project, chill on the beach, or charter a boat across the world.

But you can only do that once you’ve created an income stream that doesn’t require YOU to be there all day, every day.

2)Big Margins: SEO writers usually earn per hour. You need to clock in many hours a week to have a decent income.

With Digital Leasing, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on “auto-pilot”.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income with SEO writing, you would need to double the hours you put in.

And I can guarantee you, that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with SEO writing is that you’re basically only helping yourself.

But when you’re talking about Digital Leasing, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy - and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other off the wall business models like SEO for Writers and maybe hit it big one day.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.

If this sounds like you, click here to see how it all works.
