Do you understand the compensation plan?
Honestly, I’m totally lost…
My understanding is you need to maintain recruits to go up the ladder. And this raises a red flag for the focus on recruitment rather than product selling.
Why?
Because sadly, affiliates have no option but to recruit to pay for auto-ship — and these recruits also need to get people into their downline to pay for their auto-ship.
Looks like a pyramid scheme in disguise, right?
Let’s look into commissions and bonuses if they can cover the auto-ship….
Retail Commission
For product purchases by a retail customer, Executive Promoters get a 10% commission, 25% for Direct Promoters, and 10% higher for each succeeding level.
Residual Commission
Unilevel Plan: An affiliate’s recruit is directly placed in his downline (Level 1). Once a Level 1 affiliate has a personal recruit, it is placed on Level 2 of the original affiliate.
Gold Bonus
The Gold Bonus is exclusively for 3-Star Promoters (and higher ranks). How to qualify? Just maintain a $299 personal auto-ship and 10 retail customers who buy at least $99 every month.
All-Star Matching Bonus
An Executive Promoter gains $700 if he recruits 7 direct promoters in his first month.
Fast Start Bonus
An Executive Promoter enjoys $100 for each personal recruit who becomes a Direct Promoter.
Frontline Bonus
Executive Promoters (and all higher ranks) enjoy 10% commission on the product orders of Direct Promoters who are recruited personally.
Luxury Car Bonus
The Luxury Car Bonus is especially for 2-Star Promoters and those with higher ranks.
The Clincher
Looks promising, huh? But, but do you think it’s that easy to hit those levels?!
Think hard — you need to spend a hefty $400 monthly, plus other qualifications for each commission type. That’s a whopping $4,800 annually! Do you have that much dough?
And do you know enough people to convince and recruit who can also afford that? I doubt it.
So, most probably, to hit your target sales volume, you’ll be forced to buy the products yourself with stacks of product inventory!

Here comes the ugly part. Let’s go through some of the disadvantages of the firm.
Owner’s Sketchy Past
With the owner’s shady track record, it will be difficult for you to sell, much less recruit into the company.
Expensive Membership and Products
Why buy exorbitant health supplements at PureTrim when you can get it cheaper with other companies with established brand names and clinically tested products?
Unproven Product Effectiveness
Despite PureTrim’s claims that some of their products underwent clinical studies, the results are not publicly presented.
There are no established records of test results showing the efficacy of their products.
Thus, the company has not been true to advertising disclosure although they said that their statements are not evaluated by the FDA.
Difficult Auto-ship Requirements
Are you willing and financially capable to meet all the auto-ship qualifications? $4,800 is no joke.
Pay to Play
Simply put, lay down your dough or leave the table. Only people with financial capability can play the PureTrim game.
Bottom Line: Is PureTrim a Scam? Is it Worth It?
We can clearly see that PureTrim is basically not a scam. It sells real and legit products and now pays affiliates properly.
It also uses a legit multi-level marketing system. But the need for recruitment still makes it somehow into a pyramid scheme in disguise.
I wouldn’t mind recommending it to a friend — especially to one who values health and wellness.
