Norwex MLM Review ([year] Update): Scam or Legit?

Norwex Review: Pyramid Scheme, Scam Or Legit & Is It Worth It?

You may have recently come across Norwex and heard about its business potential, claiming to generate a huge income in two ways... selling environmentally sustainable cleaning products and by recruiting others.

It’s another one of those MLM Programs whose main purpose is to sign you up, buy a product kit, then get you to sign up your friends, family, and co-workers to do the same thing.

In my opinion, it’s promoted by quite a few high level MLM member who only gets paid mostly from signing people into the program.

It’s supposed to show you how to become a successful “Network Marketer” but, from what I can tell, most members barely make any money promoting their knives.

As I see it…you won’t get rich off a 50% commission from over-priced products that you can get for half the price at you local department store.

If you want to build wealth online, (at an average of $1,500 per sale PER MONTH), check out our #1 recommendation here.

Now, I want to be completely honest in this review, so…

Norwex does come with some very helpful information to make money online and land some decent commission checks…

But it’s methods are outdated in my opinion.

At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Norwex and network marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off Network Marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

But more on that later.

For now let’s hop into all things Norwex!

DISCLAIMER:

This Norwex review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Replicated website
  • Established company
  • Money-back guarantee
CONS
  • MLM business model, not ideal
  • Complicated compensation plan
  • Expensive membership

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

What Is Norwex About?

norwex reviews

Norwex is a multi-level marketing business that sells household cleaning products.

In 1994, Bjørn Nicolaisen founded the company in Norway after discovering that a microfiber cloth could clean a very filthy and bug-splattered windshield with only water which gave him a brilliant idea of cleaning homes the eco-friendly way with the use of this microfiber cloth.

To make it happen, he launched the Eidsvoll Miljøprodukter. This was, at the time, a pioneering method in Norway which quickly became widely popular.

Its popularity continued to grow and eventually was launched in Canada By Debbie Bolton as Norwex Enviro Products in 1999. Debbie is, until now, the company's global sales manager.

It then expanded to Australia, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, England, Sweden, and the USA.

Bjørn Nicolaisen worked in the Norwegian Ministry of Environment as a lawyer before Norwex was formed. He was a representative of the Nation of Norway in the Office of the Attorney General. He set up his own law practice in 1988.

In spite of Bjorn's lack of experience in the MLM sector before Norwex, it appears to be running smoothly year after year

Its mission is “Improve the quality of life by radically reducing chemicals in homes.”

On the company's official website, you'll learn more about the owners, management staff, brands, strategies, opportunities, etc. of Norwex.

Norwex Sells Through Home Parties

Norwex is a multi-level marketing enterprise which focuses entirely on home parties to sell. Here's how it goes:

  • A consultant from Norwex comes to your house and give a presentation of their products.
  • Since you're hosting the party, you're given a discount depending on the number of items your friends buy.
  • You may also be considered for certain free gifts based on how many products your friends buy.
  •  The Norwex consultant who gave the product presentation will receive a commission for every sale he makes.
  • The Norwex agent who recruited the person who gave the presentation also gets a commission, as well as the person who recruited that Norwex agent, and so forth up to the top line.

Norwex Household Products

Norwex produces and sells a range of products as in the following:

  • Microfiber Cleaners
  • Household Supplies
  • Products for Kids & Pets
  • Personal Care

Norwex

Of the 80,000 chemical substances used today for home cleaning, only a handful were screened and considered safe for humans according to Norwex.

The majority of these chemicals add up to the emissions in indoor air which, at a chemical level of up to 70 times greater than outside, is one of America's major environmental problems.

The objective of all Norwex items is to mitigate this environment and health concern and help people live more responsibly.

The flagship product of Norwex is known as the "EnviroCloth."

The Little Red Cloth is one of the special microfibre cloths launched by Norwex.

EnviroCloth is a cleaning material that can eliminate up to 99% of bacteria from any surface, whether they are dry or wet, avoiding the need for chemically loaded cleaners.

The Little Red Cloth is made of microfibers that's equivalent to 1/200th the size of a human hair, in combination with "BacLock," an antibacterial agent incorporated in the microfibres. This product costs $18.99.

There are also several similar products produced using the same BacLock technology, such as:

  • Sheets
  • Hand & body towels
  • Window cloths
  • Mops
  • Dusting mitts

Norwex Compensation Plan

Most MLM firms use incredibly complex compensation plans that are extremely difficult to understand. And Norwex is one of those MLMs that employ such a complicated pay scheme.

Nevertheless, in order to make it simpler for you, I will do my best to keep you up to speed.

Norwex uses seven methods to compensate their consultants:

  1. 4-Star Free Host Program
  2. Personal Retail Sales Discount
  3. FreshSTART Rewards Sales Plan
  4. FreshSTART Rewards Team Building Plan
  5. Qualified Recruit Bonus
  6. Uni-Level Commissions
  7. Monthly Car Bonus

1. 4-Star Free Host Program

In this program, the consultants receive free products based on how much sales are made during a house party and how many people bought them.

2. Personal Retail Sales Discount

Consultants get a discount of up to 35% on any product they purchase. And for your retail sales whether in person or online, you also get a 35% commission.

3. FreshSTART Rewards Sales Plan

  • Step 1: You get free products worth $140 for every $400-worth of sales you make.
  • Step 2: You get free products worth $190 for $1000-worth of sales you make in the first 30 days.
  • Step 3: You get free products worth $235 for $2000-worth of sales you make in the first 60 days.

When your new recruit accomplishes the first step, you get an extra $150-worth of free Norwex products.

4. FreshSTART Rewards Team Building Plan

  • Step 1: You get a custom-made Norwex Demo Bag when you bring in a new recruit in your first 45 days.
  • Step 2: You get a custom-made Norwex Mop Bag when you bring in two new recruits in your first 60 days.
  • Step 3: You get a custom-made Norwex Carry-On Bag when you bring in three new recruits in your first 90 days, plus the chance to become a Team Coordinator.

To become eligible for the FreshSTART Rewards Team Building Plan, you would need to make a total sales worth $250 within the month of your joining.

5. Qualified Recruit Bonus

For every new Qualified Personal Recruit, you get to choose $300-worth of free products.

A Qualified Personal Recruit is a Norwex Consultant that you've personally recruited and is earning a retail sale worth $2000 in the first 90 days upon joining.

6. Uni-Level Commissions

Uni-level commissions are earned via the sales made up to five levels deep in your downline using a unilevel pay structure.

  • 1st Level = the recruit you've personally brought in
  • 2nd Level = the recruits brought in by your 1st Level Consultants
  • 3rd Level = the recruits of your 2nd Level Consultants

The higher you get in your rank means the more levels of consultants there are in your downline and therefore, the more uni-level commissions you earn.

Can You Really Make Money With Norwex?

There's a lot that comes along with Network Marketing that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don't get me wrong...

You can certainly make money with Network Marketing, but if you're gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn't easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you're learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Is Norwex Really Worth It?

Though Norwex products come with hefty price tags, the Norwex cloths in particular, in my opinion, are worth your investment since they are durable and are really effective.

Does Norwex Really Remove Bacteria?

It doesn't kill bacteria. In fact, a certain Science teacher did an experiment to disprove the Norwex claim of removing 99% of the bacteria.

What it does is it deactivates the bacteria through the silver component of the Norwex clothes. It's still the hot water and soap that kill it.

Is Norwex Worth The Hype?

The products of Norwex are really nice and are of high quality. When you invest in them, you just can't go wrong, quality-wise. If you take care and use them as directed, they can last for a very long time. Because of this long-term benefit, your investment is all worth it. Alternatively, you could throw a party and win free stuff, like I did.

Norwex Reviews: Is Norwex A Scam?

Scam or Legit

Absolutely not!

Norwex is a legit MLM company just like any other MLMs out there. The major downsides, in my opinion, are the very expensive price tags which not all can afford upfront and the free gifts and commissions come with very stringent terms and conditions.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful network marketing business... But there are better ways to build a business other than with network marketing.

My #1 pick proves this.

Because unlike network marketing, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Norwex falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline...you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with Norwex... You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota...

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Norwex group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Norwex, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

TESTIMONIAL - Scott Lead Gen

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Norwex, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
