Course From Scratch Reviews: Easy Way To $10K?

Have you ever considered earning money with the skills you already possess?

Do you want to turn your talents into a lucrative business?

So, Danielle Leslie claims to be able to teach you how.

You're probably looking for this review because you stumbled upon her ads on Instagram.

Is it good? Probably too good to be true? Let's find out!

This review will go over Course From Scratch to see if it really is the best coaching course out there.

You'll learn whether coaching is the right online business for you.

And at the end, you'll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Course From Scratch and coaching in general.

But most importantly, you'll see the exact system many others have used to build their own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made them swear off coaching for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

This Course From Scratch review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

  • Course From Scratch is a simple process that can be quickly adapted
  • It is a business that you may start from the comfort of your own home
  • Teachable offers you two free months for this course; this is the same area where you will launch your course
  • It's pricey and overhyped in my opinion
  • It is quite unfair to pay $2,000 and not receive sufficient instruction on how to increase traffic
  • It is highly theoretical; it can just tell you how to construct a course, but what about where to sell it?

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Course From Scratch Review Overview

Course From Scratch Review Overview

Name: Course From Scratch

Creator: Danielle Leslie

Cost: $1997 or 6 installments of $394 (a $367 savings if paid in full)

Creating courses is one of the best methods to make money on the internet, and Course From Scratch teaches exactly that. With its high price tag, it's only smart to conduct your own research, as you did. Fortunately, this review will provide you with a better knowledge of what you are about to embark on.

What Is Course From Scratch?

What Is Course From Scratch

This is an 8-week program that will teach you how to design and launch your own course.

The course is available on the Teachables website, which she also recommends you utilize to begin your study. The sales page stated that you could create your course for free. However, this is only for the first three months & later costs $97 each month. You will, however, save $197. Teachables offers a free one-month trial to anyone.

The course is broken down into step-by-step instructions for creating and launching your own course in 60 days.

You also gain access to a private community where you may interact with other course developers.

Then there's a 7-day email list development training that's reportedly worth $497.

Then there are group coaching calls, which are essentially large webinars where you can ask questions and get assistance with launching your course.

Who Is Danielle Leslie?

Danielle Leslie

In the webinar, we are given a little introduction to who she is. If you come into her Instagram Ad by chance, you may have no idea who she is.

Prior to 2017, it appears she was somewhat unknown, but she then established her course, Course From Scratch, which earned $85,000 in its first calendar year. Then in 2018, she made $1.2 million.

I'd be surprised if this was from free social media traffic, so I wonder if her income was anywhere near that much, but it's a solid sales pitch.

Early traces I could discover indicated that she began selling on Udemy and launching a few courses there. If you want to generate substantial money from your course, Udemy is a no-go because they frequently have $10 specials, which means you'll get less than $5 for it. They decide when they have sales, and you have no voice in the matter.

She formerly worked as a marketer for Silicon Valley firms and is now a speaker and content specialist assisting businesses in making money from their content.

The actual money comes from her course, which teaches individuals how to establish their own courses.

It's logical.

You could most likely do the same.

Bonus For Full Payment

If you want the two premium incentives, you must immediately pay $1,997 for the course.

These include a live call with Danielle Leslie, during which she will ostensibly sit down and develop material with you. The $100k course launch breakdown follows, which includes a worksheet with the launch timeline, emails to send, advertising to generate, and methods she utilized in her $167k launch.

Given the importance of this for establishing a course, I thought that would have been included for all subscribers.

Training Materials

danielle leslie reviews

The course is divided into five parts, including supplementary material modules and weekly webinars.

From what I can tell, the content was originally published in 2017 and I'm not sure how frequently it's updated.

The fundamentals of beginning a course should have been the same then as they are now.

Module Zero: Welcome to #CourseFromScratch

Module One: Minimum Viable Course (MVC)

Module Two: Course Topics & Clients

Module Three: Content & Culture Add

Module Four: Conversions

Module Five: Advanced Course Launch

In my opinion, the videos are confusing & hyped; it's not very straightforward; and I'm now battling to provide enough information for a review of each lesson. To add to the confusion, videos are titled using acronyms.

The content is lengthy, but there are some areas that might be expanded, such as traffic creation, where there is currently no content. Now that you've received a course, what should you do? If you already have a business, you're in a great place, but how do you generate money from your course as a newbie?

Below are the other modules:

  • Success Series
  • Tech Tools
  • 3-Month Teachable Trial
  • Webinar From Scratch Series
  • Email Optins
  • Squeeze Pages
  • Live Q&A Sessions
  • Live Calls & Coaching

course from scratch reviews

I'm surprised by how complicated the course layout is for someone who claims to teach people how to create a course. There are videos scattered around the site, modules that could be integrated, and others that might be included in the introduction.

To me, it's evident that stuff has just been added and added without being transferred to the proper location.

Following the course, all live coaching calls from June 2017 through February 9th, 2019 are available. That means it looks no live coaching has occurred since February 2019.

To be fair, there were well over 25 coaching calls in those two years, ranging in length from 30 minutes to 120 minutes. There's a lot of value in there somewhere; you just have to sift through it to find it.

How Much Does Danielle Leslie's Course From Scratch Cost?

danielle leslie course from scratch

You must spend $2,000 to enroll in this course. If you want to obtain bonuses after completing this course, you must pay more.

This course will likewise demand 60 days of your time to finish.

The value you're getting for a high charge of two grand is a huge question mark. You can see by the name that this course is aimed at novices. How many newcomers can afford to spend this much money to gain this information? Are there any other reliable but less expensive resources for learning about course building and selling?

Refund Policy

danielle leslie review

To be eligible for a refund, you'll need to demonstrate that you followed the course, completed all of the work, time, and date stamped everything you did, run traffic and failed, and completed all of this within 30 days.

Personally, I think it's a fairly weak guarantee for a $1,997 course.

Can You Make Money With Course From Scratch?

reviews danielle leslie

Yes, you can make money online from creating courses.

There's a lot that comes along with coaching that many people struggle with.

Now, don't get the wrong idea...

It's not impossible to make money with coaching, but if you're gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn't easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you're learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket many online businesses to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Is Course From Scratch A Scam?

Scam or Legit

I've written hundreds of reviews of various programs, money-making schemes, courses, apps, and so on. I am aware that all scams share several obvious signals.

There are several reasons why I cannot label this training a scam. This course's designer is well-known, and scams typically do not name their inventors. There are also some testimonies from real people that we have no reason to doubt. Furthermore, Danielle Leslie's brand has been around for a long time.

They also provide a 30-day money-back guarantee, and I have yet to find anyone who has complained about not receiving their money back.

However, I disagree with their aggressive pricing and course material, which is of little value. That's just how I personally feel about it.

So, in my honest and objective opinion, this course is not a rip-off. By enrolling in this program, you'll receive some value, but not the kind of value they promote, and you will not be able to start making money right away.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful coaching business... But there are better ways to build a business other than with coaching.

Our #1 pick proves this.

Because unlike Course From Scratch, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

Is Course From Scratch Legitimate?

Is Course From Scratch Legitimate

Yes. It is a legit course that teaches how to build online courses from scratch.

But, when it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.

And even if you're dead set on becoming a coach, you've got way better options than Course From Scratch.

Keep in mind, I don't get paid to promote any of the programs I review. I personally think coaching is a great business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Course From Scratch falls short is in profitability.

You can’t realistically expect to be able to make any REAL passive income when you’re actively coaching and running ads to get more students.

But what if you leverage it?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can have the ability to completely walk away from manual labor!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 20 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $1000 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to answer the phone…all you have to do is get the phone to ring.

Remember Course From Scratch and all the small profit margins with ad investments?

This one actually allows you to collect that without working in a brick and mortar business all day. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group where you can ask questions and be in a community with others on the same journey as you.

Unlike Course From Scratch, where you have to keep trading your time for money over and over…. You can finally get on the financially free side of life. A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Course From Scratch, more people have been able to become financially free as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have passive income with most of your day being spent OUT of the brick and mortar landscape.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.
