What Is Clout Pay?

Clout Pay is an online platform that hires people to become social media influencers through using their own social media accounts to make a ton of cash. Known as Paid 4 Clout today, it works on a GPT or “Get Paid To” business model and claims that making money is easy breezy by doing simple tasks.

It’s another one of those making money online programs that is centered around selling a clapped out membership that supposedly makes you money by selling other people’s shit.

It is promoted by damn near every high level course member who only gets paid through their affiliate links to the course. Yep, you read that right…

Sellouts, it’s promoted by sellouts.

It’s supposed to show you how to become a “6 figure affiliate marketer” but most members don’t make money promoting other products.

That’s just the truth…you won’t get rich off a shitty $6 commission

And while we have to be honest for this review…

Clout Pay does come with some very helpful information to make money online and land some massive commission checks…

But it’s outdated AF!

At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Clout Pay and cheap affiliate marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off affiliate marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

The Clout website lures you into the program through the $25 you get upon signing up with them, which is probably the one thing that causes a lot of people to sign up without first doing some research or reading reviews online about it.

There is more to Clout Pay than meets the eye. They say you can make money – $500 per day – by being a social media influencer (using your own social media accounts!) without really putting in a lot of effort. Sounds ridiculous right?

Making money is just but a front for a much worse scheme. The thing that Clout Pay is really after is your personal information…

It isn’t a surprise at all to find out that Clout Pay operates the same ways like these money grubbing schemes. You’ll notice the similarities in the structure and layout design of their website. They can be from the same company, but Clout Pay website owners would like you to believe that they are totally different websites.

Clout seems to trick people into entering the program, that’s why. If they get exposed, all they have to do is change the Clout website name and content into a different one and they’d be running in no time again.

$25 Sign Up Fee Is a Red Flag!

The Clout Pay site has a $25 sign-up bonus is one major red flag.

If you are that person who is considering to sign up, be weary!

I mean, just think about it: 100,000 members would mean a payout of $2.5 million. Clout should be earning more than this amount to be able to maintain and sustain the members.

Of course, the only reason they say they’d give you $25 is to make their site more attractive and make you believe you are signing up for a profitable opportunity.

Upon signing up, a referral link will be given to you. Posting these referral links across the web is one of the tasks Clout will ask you to do.

How Does Clout Pay Work?

I’m pretty sure some people still want to know how it works.

Clout Pay says you can make $10-15 for every friend you refer, and also that it’s easy to do so!

Step 1: Create Your Clout Pay Account

As soon as your Clout account is created, you will be part of the Clout community right away. You will also get a referral link so you can start posting it everywhere.

Step 2: Share Your Referral Link & Start Earning Money

You then share the link everywhere, except in Facebook (Facebook blocks the affiliate links.) and WhatsApp (WhatsApp couldn’t recognize it.).

Step 3: You Get Paid (Pay is sketchy!)

You then share the link everywhere, except in Facebook (Facebook blocks the affiliate links.) and WhatsApp (WhatsApp couldn’t recognize it.).

Clout, according to their website, says you will get paid through a payment app such as PayPal, Cash App, Bitcoin, or Mailed Check.

But before you get payment through any of these apps, you will be asked to subscribe to their YouTube Video Channel and upload a YouTube video of yourself telling people why Clout Pay is such a great program.

You have to put up a video speaking positively before you get paid? Sounds like a little bit of blackmail to get your own money…

Who Is The Owner Of Clout Pay? Where Is It Located?

You won’t find the names of the owners of Clout Pay in their website. In fact, you won’t find any name at all – simply because the company owners are clearly hiding.

There is no CEO nor any human staff mentioned anywhere in the web. No phone number or business address either.

If Clout Pay is a legit site -not a scam- why aren’t they disclosing their company info as any online business, or any business in fact, would do.

Break Down Of Clout Pay Earnings

Some of the tasks that Clout will ask you to do is upload a YouTube video in exchange for $50 and refer friends for $10.
This isn’t of course the only way you can get paid as Clout claims. The Clout Pay dashboard will tell you that you can get paid via the following:

Finishing Wall Task for $30.00
Getting Clicks To Your Links for $2.00
Downloading Apps for $10.00
Completing Surveys for $25.00

Is Clout Pay Legit?

Clout Pay is legit, but take that with a grain of salt because most of the reviews that we could find were either fake or they were from affiliate marketers who want you to click on their links and sign up with the program so that they can get a paycheck. There are much better programs out there.

Who’s Clout Pay For?

Definitely no one!

Clout is clearly a sketchy site where only its creators seemingly benefit from the program.

Clout Pay Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 They Won’t Pay You!

You will find in Clout Pay members’ feedback and third party reviews online that they do not pay. One perfect example of this is found in Twitter below:

Possible scams like Clout Pay are only after your personal information, including all of your important financial details. What they will do is sell these info to market research companies that make cold calls.

People are coming out to expose this outrageous and shady company and I’m not surprised at all.

#2 Clout Pay Terms of Service

Majority of the earning part comes from the referral program. However, there seems to be something funny going on in their ToS or Terms of Service:

In the ToS, Clout Pay is saying they have all the rights to cancel all of your earnings without letting you know.

And just when you think it’s not gonna get worse than this, you’re wrong. Another part is saying that they will not be responsible for terminating your credits or points. See excerpt below:

#3 No Owner Information And Support Provided!

As I’ve mentioned earlier, you will not find any information about its owners or key people behind it. This is a classic red flag for any possible scam business, especially for online platforms like the Clout Pay site.

What’s more, there is no customer support available for people experiencing issues, which again is another telltale sign of a possible scam.

Remember, any site that is legitimate will NEVER withhold this information from you and that this information is in fact verifiable.

So when you sign up for them, you are basically left to deal with whatever you got yourself into – because there is no one there!

Sad but true.

#4 Fake Testimonials!

By now, we could all agree that everything about Clout Pay is fake – including the testimonials you’ll find online. People are just furious because they are not getting paid.

If you don’t get paid as promised and advertised, you would readily hop in and give a negative review about the site.

Just check below out the testimonials I found online about Clout Pat and Paid 4 Clout:

These sites want you to believe – or deceive- you for one reason: for you to think that people are indeed making money out of joining them.

And of course you will find that there are more people complaining about Clout Pay than those who are praising it, which indicates clearly that the testimonials in their site are most likely fake.

#5 Fake Payment Proofs

As expected, any proof of payment you might find in their website or any site would be fake too! And the total amount paid of $44 million is just outright ridiculous, if not just hilarious.

#6 Payment Restrictions

Clout Pay also restricts you from getting paid without first recruiting new members and doing the “tasks” they ask you to complete.

There is no legit GPT site that I know which employs such stupid measures.

#7 Multiple Cloned Websites

What legit website would have multiple cloned sites? Only those whose goal is to fool you and others. Similar Clout Pay sites display the same content and Terms and Conditions, with exactly the same offers.

Clout Pay Ridiculous Income Claims

No company or business would offer you a ridiculous amount of pay without doing anything that’s substantial and with value to benefit them in return. There’s just no way it’s gonna happen.

You need to work at a certain degree to receive payment that’s commensurate to that effort you exerted. It’s how you make money the right way.

Even on online sites, you will owe a tax higher than a certain threshold; that’s why you’ll never be able to make a lot of money on survey sites.

So, do you still think you can make $ 500.00 today with Clout Pay without doing virtually anything?

I hope you have a different perspective now because, no, you won’t be paid as much as they claim you will.

Sure, your dashboard will show $ 500.00, but you’ll never get $500.00 wired to your bank account.

I did sign up with Clout Pay to test it and even my dashboard is displaying $40 for something I don’t remember working for.

So believe you me when I say that Clout Pay is lying to your face and I have no reason to lie about it.

Alternatives To Clout Pay

The only good thing you’ll get from any of these is that they are actually legit alternatives to Clout Pay that can earn you money. Some of those are:

Online Paid Survey Sites

As you may already know, online survey sites don’t pay that much. But if you want something legit and an easy way to earn money, online paid survey sites could be a good start for you

Make Money From Any Receipt

Yes, you can earn from receipts via the CoinOut app, that is if you live in the US.

There are a lot of extra ways to earn too such as sweepstakes, partners sign-ups, trivia, etc.

Get Free Stuff From Amazon

Getting free stuff from Amazon is as good as earning. It’s for sure a good alternative to Clout Pay. This is for those living in the US only.

Yeah, that might sound cool, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become an survey taker (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $50,000+ per month teaches some of the survey skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.

Clout Pay Support

Clout Pay boldly claims in their website that customer support is available. But we all know now that this isn’t true.

When I tried reaching out to their customer support, no one responded, most likely because there is none.

And to prove this even more, you will be directed to a non-responsive page that displays, “Not Found,” after clicking the Contact Us page.

You want more proof? None of their social media icons in their website work.

All these should give you a lot of the obvious hints how fraudulent Clout Pay is.

Stay away from it! In fact, warn your friends even.

Clout Pay Review: What To Do If You Have Already Joined Clout Pay?

This is where things could potentially go from bad to worse.

If you have signed up with Clout Pay, chances are they might have already gotten hold of your personal and financial information and sold them to third parties.

If you start receiving promotional emails, try to block the senders or unsubscribe from them. If this doesn’t work for you, changing your email address can be your next option.

But the worst scenario people may find themselves in is when scammers would try to hack your PayPal account and steal your funds. If you are using the same email and password for your PayPal, immediately change your PayPal account’s password!

Clout Pay Review: Is Clout Pay a Scam?

We can’t come right out and say its a scam…and we wont….but it does check a lot of the boxes.

It’s a scammy looking site backed by numerous negative reviews from members who have been deceived.

They promise to pay people a lot of money which is a lie. They are not a legit influencer network. And if you would just do due diligence, you’d find out all of these on your own.

A lot has been said to convince you that Clout Pay could be a fraud but let me say it again -be weary of this program!
