The first step is to identify a profitable product niche and source products from manufacturers or wholesalers. This is usually done through sites like Alibaba until you’re successful enough to source products yourself and develop relationships with suppliers. 

Sending Inventory to Amazon

Once you have your products, you send them to Amazon's fulfillment centers, where they handle the storage, packaging, and shipping. The products will come directly from your supplier to the fulfillment centers. 

Creating Listings

You create attractive and optimized product listings on Amazon, complete with compelling descriptions, high-quality images, and competitive pricing.

Marketing and Advertising

To drive traffic and sales, you employ various marketing strategies, including Amazon PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising, social media marketing, and influencer collaborations. This is a standard process to try and compete against sellers who already have a lot of reviews. You can get reviews quickly this way.

Once all of this is done and a product sells, you’ll need to pay Amazon fees for hosting your products and fulfilling them for you. This can result in razor thin margins as you try to compete against larger sellers that can purchase their products in higher quantities.

One thing that concerns me about this guru is his lack of consistency on social media. He goes weeks and months posting new content and sharing things and then disappears for months at a time. 

This could be because he maxes out his course and then shuts it down until he needs to find new students but either way, most financial gurus maintain some level of consistency with their personal brand. 

AMZ Fastlane Cost

The AMZ Fastlane cost typically ranges from $997-1,997 depending on if it’s on sale or not (that's probably just a perceived value thing... it's likely always $997). This is a pretty standard cost for a program like this and a lot of them roll out for less but gradually increase in cost as they become more desirable. 

Alec also offers a three month installment plan of $397 per month. 

The refund policy is 14-days after purchase and you must have consumed less than 40% of the coursework. You need to provide proof that you attempted the program and haven’t had success… but I’m not sure how you could determine that in 14-days. 

What Makes This Different From Other FBA Programs?

While the AMZ Fastlane program promises to provide a comprehensive blueprint for building a successful Amazon FBA business, it's not entirely unique in the market. Many other courses and programs claim to offer similar training and guidance.

However, one potential differentiating factor could be Alec John's hands-on experience and claimed success in the Amazon FBA space. 

He positions himself as someone who has walked the walk, faced the challenges, and overcome the obstacles – an aspect that could resonate with aspiring sellers looking for a mentor with real-world experience.

The problem is, there’s very little proof of that. Like I said, he doesn’t share a lot on social media and dips in and out so it’s unclear if he can actually back up these results. 

If you want to take practical advice on creating wealth worth dumping your life savings into from this guy, I just recommend being very careful.

As long as the program covers the steps involved in Amazon FBA and alerts you to the potential issues and pitfalls you can fall into, I can’t necessarily say it’s “bad” - but there’s still nothing unique about it. It falls in line with other FBA courses like FBA Roadmap and Freedom by FBA.

The Instructor's Credentials: Alec John claims to have over a decade of experience in the Amazon FBA space, but it's essential to thoroughly vet these claims. From what I can see, there’s not a lot to back up his claims of success.

Program Comprehensiveness: Successful Amazon FBA businesses require mastery of various aspects, including product research, supplier negotiations, listing optimization, advertising, and scaling. I think AMZ Fastlane provides just about what you’d need to get started.

Community Support: Building an Amazon FBA business can be a lonely and challenging journey. Look for programs that offer a strong community of like-minded individuals. This program has something called the “backroom community” Facebook Group. 

Realistic Expectations: Be wary of programs that promise overnight riches or make outlandish income claims. Building a sustainable business takes time, effort, and perseverance. While Alec John doesn’t say it’s easy, I don’t think he prepares you properly for the challenges you’re about to face. 

AMZ Fastlane program appears to tick some of these boxes but not all of them.

Don't be swayed by flashy marketing tactics or inflated promises; instead, seek out verifiable proof of the program's effectiveness.

When I evaluate an online program, I always approach it cynically - and you should too. There’s plenty of vultures out there waiting to dive down and pick away at the first person who lets their guard down. 

Am I saying that Alec John and the AMZ Fastlane Program is like this? 

Definitely not, there’s no AMZ Fastlane scam. 

But there are several factors that raise my red flags. 

First and foremost, the sales page for the program comes across as somewhat spammy and overhyped, which is a common red flag in the world of online marketing. 

Additionally, there is a notable lack of verifiable information about the program's guru, Alec John, and his claimed success in the Amazon FBA space.
