What Is It About?
Is Ruby Ribbon scam or just another network marketing program that simply wants people to sign up, buy a product kit and get their family and friends to do the same?
Let’s face it — most multi-level marketing companies show people how to succeed as a network marketer but in reality, most members barely earn anything promoting their products.
Do you think you will get rich with just a 40% commission from expensive clothing items that you can get otherwise from MaryKay or Avon?
If you want to really make money online, you have much better options!
But to give you an honest and fair review…. Ruby Ribbon does provide helpful ways for people to make money online and get commissions.
For now, let’s look into Ruby Ribbon!
Is It A Scam? Can You Really Make Money Online By Selling Innerwear?
You’re reading this article because you most likely want to make money, right?
And since many people fall for scams, I’ve committed myself to review companies like this. This article will give crucial information and will show the benefits and disadvantages of joining the company.
So let’s boil things down you a couple questions:
Is it a scam or a pyramid scheme?
Can you really get rich selling clothing?
We will look at the various aspects of the company to help you determine if it’s best for you. And I will give recommendations in the end — so you can truly make a wise decision.
Who Owns Ruby Ribbon?
The organization is owned and founded by the reputable Anna Zornosa. She’s professionally experienced by working with various companies (Glam.com, Chloe, Trulioo.com, Motista, and Isabel).
Ruby Ribbon MLM Overview & Rankings
- Name: Ruby Ribbon
- Website: www.rubyribbon.com
- Founders: Anna Zornnosa
- Product Type: Clothing – Multi-Level Marketing
- Price: $149 To $549 For Their Start Kit
Ruby Ribbon is a clothing multi-level marketing company that sells innerwear (cami and bra), shapewear, leggings, swimwear, and collections for women.
It’s fairly new, being founded just in 2011 by Anna Zornosa, but it’s making waves online in the clothing niche. It is unique for the product types it sells.
It also provides ways for people to make money via network marketing.
Overall Rating: 5/10
Recommended: Sure, if clothing is your thing… otherwise, NO!
Is it a Pyramid Scheme or Scam?
The company is no scam.
It’s a legitimate multi-level marketing business that offers real products. It is also NOT a pyramid scheme because, although there’s recruitment involved, it focuses on making a sale.
The question is — is it the best company for YOU?
Now, don’t get me wrong…
It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful business with multi-level marketing… but there are much better ways to do it.
And unlike Ruby Ribbon, it provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.
What is the Product Line?
The company is known for its high-quality products like intimates, swimwear, and leggings — which come in many women’s sizes (XS up to XXXL) all for the same price.
Their items help in shaping and enhancing the contour of women’s physique.
Stylists sell items online and in-person via parties called “trunk shows.”
Online shoppers are encouraged to buy products through a stylist to ensure the correct fit. Buyers enjoy FREE shipping for orders $100 or more!
The products are unique since the full support bras are WIRE-FREE. What a big relief for women who suffer from wired brassieres!
Do Their Products Really Work? Are They Worth the Price?
Let’s face it, when it comes to any clothing item, it will always receive both positive and negative feedback. These Ruby Ribbon reviews also include both.
Here’s an example:
I’ll show you some more feedback later on…
Can You Really Make Money Online with Ruby Ribbon MLM?
Now comes the important part of this Ruby Ribbon review. I assume that you’re reading this article to see if you can really make a living out of the company (part-time or full-time). So here goes… Just like any network marketing, you can make money in two ways:
- Product Sales
- Recruitment of people
There’s a lot that comes along with multi-level marketing that many people struggle with.
In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with Network Marketing, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.
Make Money via Sales
Step One – you earn from sales. Your commission can be from 20% to 40% based on sales and rank/level.
I like this quick start.
Without recruiting, you can jump up to the 25% commission rank via sales. And should you recruit someone, you earn 3% from their sales upfront.
Mind you, 20% commission is fairly good as compared to other companies. Plus, you simply need to sell $300 of products every 3 months — which is fairly easy to hit.
Make Money - Build a Team
Beyond the first 2 levels, you need to build your team with the 1st team rank as Senior Stylist.
Senior Stylist = 1 Active Stylist + $1500 sales
Their system can work well. And should you work hard enough to build a robust team, you can really earn big bucks, notwithstanding regular sales.
But it’s not quite easy.
Rank progression has extra requirements along the way.
Check out these requirements:
How Much Does it Cost to Join?
To become a “stylist”, you’ll need to buy a starter kit which includes all you need to make money.
The Four Types of Starter Kits
- Mini Start Kit: $149 = 2 camis, 1 demiette, business tools, and a website.
- Cami Starter Kit: $249 = 6 camis, 2 demiettes, business tools, and a website.
- Ultimate Start Kit: $399 = 6 camis, 2 demiettes, leggings, and additional products, business tools, and a website.
- Ultimate Plus Start Kit: $549 = 6 camis, 2 demiettes, leggings, and additional products, business tools, a website, and $300 in credit you can use to buy more items.
The Ruby Ribbon Compensation Plan
Let’s see if the Compensation Plan is actually worth it…
Stylists can increase in rank while having higher personal and team sales goals, plus, the need to recruit active stylists. They can enjoy a 40% commission on sales and incentive bonuses for team performance.
To remain active at the lowest level, stylists need to sell for $300 minimum in 3 months. They gain 20% sales commission here.
Beyond $750 sales, they enjoy a 25% commission. And if there’s a new active recruit, stylists earn a 3% commission on their sales.
However, you have the option NOT to sign up as a stylist.
You can host a trunk show instead.
At these parties, hostesses are rewarded according to the total sales during their party — discounts, free shipping, and incentives. What do you think?
Ruby Ribbon Review: Ugly Truths Revealed
Here comes the ugly part. Let’s go through some of the cons.
Poor Customer Service
Sadly, the company suffers several customer service complaints on social media. It will be difficult to sell their products if issues on refunds, return products, and ignored calls destroy their reputation.
$1600 — that’s the average yearly earnings for 2018. Seriously, can you live with THAT? Perhaps for a side hustle or part-time work. But you better study your options well.
New in the MLM industry
Since the company is young, we cannot project how long it would last in the network marketing industry. Heads up on this.
Expensive Product Kits
It can be surprising that the product kits can go beyond $500! Whoa!
Ruby Ribbon Review: The Pros
Legitimate MLM company
The company is no scam. It may be young but people do earn from it.
Great Income Potential
Clothing is always an evergreen market — what could be better for a company with high-quality and unique items. You just need to choose your market since the items and startup fees are expensive.
Their products will be easy to sell for clientele who value quality over cost. Their items are of good repute and enjoy positive feedback. And check out their new arrivals for great designs and style.
Ruby Ribbon Positive Reviews
Looking at customer feedback, I’ve seen good ones. One person (cup size 40 DD) said the products were effective. And others claim that the bras are great even for bigger sizes. Most reviews are quite impressive.
Perhaps because of the uniqueness of the items. And that’s crucial in selling.
Bottom Line: Is Ruby Ribbon MLM Worth Trying?
With all things considered, is this company worth trying?
Is it a good idea to be a consultant?
We can clearly see that Ruby Ribbon is not a scam. It sells real clothing products and pays their members a decent amount of money.
It also uses a legit multi-level marketing system. It’s not a pyramid scheme in disguise since it focuses on making a sale and not on recruitment.
I wouldn’t mind recommending it to a friend — especially to one who likes good quality clothing.
But is this the best business opportunity for YOU?
How many people are willing to spend as much on overpriced innerwear, swimwear, and collections — other than your family and friends?
And by weighing the negative points with the positives, it’s important to think twice about joining.
The decision is yours.
I hope that this review has helped you decide whether to invest in it or not.
When it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.
And even if you’re dead set on becoming an MLM marketer, you’ve got way better options than Ruby Ribbon.
Keep in mind, I don’t get paid to promote any of the programs I review. I think Ruby Ribbon is a decent business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.
What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where Ruby Ribbon falls short is in scalability.
There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.
MLM companies know this!
Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?
With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!
Sound too good to be true?
Of course it does!
But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
So, how much money can you really make?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:
- Your upline getting paid before you
- Begging your friends and family to buy from you
- Recruiting people all the time
Remember Ruby Ribbon? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…
The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS.
Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Ruby Ribbon MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike Ruby Ribbon, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 50-100X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike Ruby Ribbon, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
