Scam Risk is here to help you protect yourself and fight back
By: Scam Risk - Expert Reviewer

Are you an active day trader? Or are you perhaps someone considering to be one?

Either way, the very first step you need to do is look for a trading platform particularly built for day trading.

This can be daunting for most. But as soon as you find the trading platform fit for your style, you’ll quickly shift gear and love it.

In this blog post, I will carefully examine how Zacks Trade works to help you decide if it fits you.

Let’s get on with it!

We’re going to review multiple aspects of Zacks Trade to decide if it really is the best trading platform course out there.

We’ll talk about whether day trading is the right online business for you.

At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Zacks Trade and investing in general.

And most important, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off day trading for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

What is Zacks Trade?

Zacks Trade is a Chicago-based online brokerage firm whose highly complex trading platform is intended for both multi-security investors and day traders.

Well recognized in the investment industry for his efforts in ultra-detailed investment reports, Len Zacks is the genius behind Zacks Trade.

He was the author of the controversial paper that first showcased his genius in predicting stock movements.

And because of this, the ZIR or Zacks Investment Research was created and has been in operation for over 30 years now and is North America’s 2nd largest equity research company, together with its broker/dealer arm, LBMZ securities.

Zacks Trade is also managing over $5 billion worth of assets.

Zacks Trading is unique in that, like many other investing sites, it provides the opportunity to buy stocks and shares, but what really amplifies it is the access you get to two extremely elaborate and in-depth platforms from which you can make more risky transactions.

Who Is Zacks Trade Good For?

Zacks Trade is directed towards experienced investment professionals.

Zacks Trading is highly recommended if you are someone who has big investment dollars, knows how to trade at high speed, and needs access to various forms of investments in numerous countries.

Who Isn’t Zacks Trade Good For?

I would advise beginners to stay away from it because you can lose your money easily. This is not a platform for novice traders.

If you don’t know how to play it, margin investing, trading options, and playing with international currencies or in foreign markets become a risky game.

What Do Zacks Ratings Mean?

The Zacks Rank is a 1 to 3 month short-term stock recommendation that rates stocks from no.1, which is a “Strong Buy”, to no.5, which is a “Strong Sell.” Using forecasts of analyst earnings, Zacks rates about 4,400 stocks everyday.

Is Zacks A Good Rank?

For more than a quarter century, with an annual increase of +24.77 percent per year, the S&P 500 has more than doubled. A period spanning from 1 January 1988 to 30 November 2020 is covered by these returns.

The Zacks Rank is a valuable tool that lets you trade independently irrespective of how you trade or tolerate risks.

How Good Is It?

Zacks may be better known for Zacks Rank, which is a ranking system that is based around the premise that the S&P 500 will outperform stocks with rising earnings expectations.

It also has Mutual Funds and ETFs rating schemes. The S&P 500 has more than doubled in more than 25 years, according to Zacks.

What Does Zacks Strong Buy Mean?

Zacks Rank is one of today’s most effective stock rating systems in the market. Since 1998, it has been generating a +24.77 percent average annual return.

It’s over twice the S&P 500, giving you a broad selection of the 800 highest-rated stocks to choose from.

How Do I Cancel My Zacks Free Trial?

By contacting Zacks Trade at 1-800-767-3771 ext. 9339 or emailing your request to support@zacks.com, you can unsubscribe from Zacks Trade’s marketing deals at any time.

You will be included in their internal email and postal campaign lists if you apply to the Zacks Premium subscription program.

How Do I Cancel My Zacks Subscription?

Just go to www.zacks.com/my-account/alert-preferences/ on the subscription management tab and type your email address.

A new tab will appear that helps you to subscribe to email updates and newsletters or unsubscribe from them.

What Are Zacks Trade Offers?

Essentially, Zacks provides what Interactive Brokers also offers but in exchange for improved client experience, like free broker-assisted trades, at a marginally higher price.

Zacks is a decent fit for individuals who are reasonably savvy, committed buyers but are not yet able to go totally solo and may like their online trades to have a little hand-holding and/or a contingency strategy.

Which Is Better: Zacks Trade Or TradeStation?

Any of the two would be a good option if you plan to purchase and sell equities. Both firms offer per-share pricing, while flat-rate pricing is provided by TradeStation.

I recommend either broker if you’re interested in opening an IRA.

If you’re a newbie, we recommend Zacks Trade because of their customer service is better.

For mutual funds, opt for TradeStation. TradeStation’s transaction fee is smaller at $14.95 than Zacks’ at $27.50.

If you’re into buy and hold, it’s okay to choose either.

Does Zacks Trade Charge For Broker-Assisted Trades?

Zacks Trade is an online broker that provides penny-per-share trades and a comprehensive trading platform for both active traders and investors. Zacks Trade does not charge extra for broker-assisted trades, which is uncommon with other brokers. So if you need help making a deal, Zacks Trade may be a smart option for you.

How Many Trades Can A Day Trader Make?

If in a rolling five business day cycle, a trader makes four or more day trades, the account will automatically be classified as a “Pattern Day Trade” account. As per the account equity, certain limits would then be applied.

Yeah, that sounds like a dick policy, and if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become an day trader (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $50,000+ per month teaches some of the affiliate marketing skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.

How Zacks Trade works

Since Zacks Trade is a brokerage firm, they help you buy many kinds of securities. But, where it varies from most brokers is how this is achieved.

Zacks Trade has three separate platforms that you can use when investing, which I will discuss later. One is very simple and mostly not used, but the other two are solid and have a comprehensive range of tools that few other programs have.

The way Zacks Trade positions itself on the market is to attract buyers who have money to spend, are able to borrow on margin, and who are frequent traders.

The processes and prices involved are both consistent with this principle.

Exploring the Client Portal:

When you sign into the Client Portal, this is where you go to.

You won’t find a lot of features or tools here. It is designed for making simple trades, accessing your documents or gather account info, checking your balances, and just generally managing your account.

However, The Tax Optimizer seems good.

The Tax Optimizer enables you to measure the impact of your profit/loss impact of the tax lot matching methods that you’ve chosen, change it quickly, and immediately show the alternative tax lot matching method’ potential profit/loss effect, and match specific lots manually.

Zacks Trader

Zacks Trader has a few different tabs that are worth remembering, and will help you during the day when you trade actively:

Market. The Market is where you can build a watchlist of assets such as stocks and currencies that you want to monitor. It provides you a default list which you can change according to your preference.

Account. The Account tab in Zacks Trader provides you a one-stop rundown of where your trading situation lies when you use the Customer Site for account management.

Your purchasing power or how much money you have to trade and your maintenance margin or the minimum amount to maintain a margin account are the two key items you’ll find useful here.

Options. Designed for options trading, this tab will enable you to build a chain of options for any asset listed. For options traders, an option chain displays the calls, puts, strike rates, and other information on pricing in one view.

This is rather complicated, so before you get into it, read and review it first.

Products. This tab just shows you a graph of the trend of the stock for a given period of time.

Market Pulse. The Market Pulse tab is where you can have a high-level glimpse at the performance of markets across the globe.

To give you a brief look at market performance, it uses a clear red and green bar chart, but if you want more solid knowledge for individual stocks or indexes, you will need to dig deeper manually.

Additional Features

Zacks Trade places heavy emphasis on protection/ security. You need to set up secure log in details as with any brokerage account.

But with Zacks Trade, there’s another extra layer of security.

Just a step more, Zacks Trade makes it. You will get another security code that creates a secure, unique number that must also be entered every time you log in. They have the HandKey app that you can use in case you don’t have a physical card .

Moreover, Account Insurance Protecion comes with your Zacks Trading account. Your accounts are secured by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (“SIPC”) for a maximum of $500,000-coverage together with a $250,000-cash sublimit.

You are also subject to the excess SIPC policy of our clearing firm for up to an additional $30 million (with a $900,000-cash sublimit) under an aggregate limit of $150 million.

Customer support

Zacks Trade boasts of their excellent customer support team that’s available from Monday until Friday, at 9 AM to 6 PM EST closed on market holidays and weekends.

Or Zacks Trade can be reached via Facebook and Twitter , including email.

In most of the Zacks Trade reviews I’ve encountered, many are saying how responsive their customer service is.

Zacks Trade compared

Zacks Exchange is one of a kind because it doesn’t have a lot of competition. Interactive Brokers is the only broker that comes nearest. Currently, Zacks Exchange utilizes the trading platform of Interactive Traders, that’s why they kinda look nearly similar. The biggest distinction is that it’s a little cheaper than Zacks Trade, but doesn’t provide live broker assistance.

You are on your own with Interactive Brokers. This means you need to be an experienced trader and know precisely its ins and outs.

Because there’s someone “live” to support me with trading as an added benefit, I would go for Zacks Trade.

Zacks Trade’s other rivals include brokers such as:

Some of the other competitors of Zacks Trade include brokers like:

  • TD Ameritrade
  • Fidelity
  • Charles Schwab
  • Vanguard

These brokers are not designed for day trading. They, however, provide favorable rates and layouts that are more visually appealing.

If you are someone who does not prefer the “extras” that Zacks Trade offers, then these would be a likely option for you.

Zacks Trade would claim that they’re still cheaper. They have done a comparative calculation to prove that you’re going to save money with Zacks Trade.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Zacks Trade Has Low Trading Cost. Zacks Trade provides some of the cheapest deals for trading around if you’re a high-volume investor. Their fees are still very favorable for foreign trade.

Trade On International Markets. You seldom see a platform that helps you trade securities in over 90 different exchanges in 19 countries worldwide. Zacks Trade is doing it.

Customization. You can configure ZacksTrader and ZacksTrader Pro to look and sound the way you want. This is an outstanding feature for an active trader , because the info he needs is right away available.

Top-Tier Research. Zacks Trade offers extremely in-depth market analysis with top-notch research. You get to access 26 distinct researches. Although you will have to pay extra for additional 87 premium reports, you can utilize some of the industry’s finest research right inside the platform.

Trading Options. Zacks Trade lets you on their platform to trade stocks, currencies, bonds, and ETFs. Note that in various countries, all these can also be done, which pretty much multiplies the range.

Access To A Live Broker. You can work with a live broker to make free trades with you.

Cons

Slow Loading Time. The platform and website are slow.

Inferior User Experience: Substandard and outdated user experience.

For Expert Traders Only. To make sense of the controls and data available, you need to be a very seasoned trader.

Alternatives: What are the best online brokers and How to Know If They're For You?

They’re quite unique in terms of the features and software. On top of this, there isn’t much competition. The one that comes closest is Interactive Brokers or IB, as its features are inclined towards day traders and offers more competitive rates or pricing options.

In fact, Zacks Trade uses the trading platform of IB, but offers a more personal touch. You’re on your own with IB.

The more commonly known ones like TD Ameritrade, Vanguard, Charles Schwab, E*TRADE, and Fidelity are other rivals that offer a little less. They do not provide similar trading features found in Zacks trade, but they’re pretty decent for novice traders or those who do not require advanced research or tools for trading.

Is Zacks Worth Paying For?

The biggest question for many current Zacks Trade users who rely on the research and recommendations of the platform may be whether it’s worth the money to upgrade to a Premium subscription.

In the end, it’s about what you need from a stock recommendation platform. But keep in mind that the highly actionable tools that add value in trading are the premium screens, Earnings ESP filters, and style scores.

They can easily pay the $249 annual subscription fee if you plan to use these tools for medium-term trading. But note that with a free account, the premium screens can be recreated to some extent, and at least one selection from the #1 Rank List is made public by Zacks everyday.

Basically, the business model they teach is DEFINITELY not worth it.

But it is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful online business.

My #1 pick proves this. And unlike Zacks Trade, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

Is Zacks Trade Legit?

Yes, Zacks Trade is legit.

It has a long track record and is overseen by top-tier regulators via LBMZ securities and so Zacks Trade is considered safe.

In case something goes wrong, up to $500,000 in securities and cash will be returned to your investments. In addition, Zacks Trade offers another insurance coverage via private insurance companies to ensure your account’s safety.

In Conclusion

The main thing about this platform is that Zacks Trade is not for rookiess.

It’s a broker perfect for professionals who are frequent and active traders. The platform’s visuals are outdated, not to mention slow loading time.

Though this is terrible, the data and analytics you will find here are gold! What’s more, you can have free access to a live broker – something that’s really helpful in mastering the ins and outs of the software.

I would strongly recommend looking into Zacks Trade if you trade at high volumes, trade frequently, or trade large amounts of money at one go.

If you are into margin trading, trading options and currencies, and trading on global markets, you will also find the platform most suitable for you .

But if you’re just beginning to trade, then this platform is not the best fit for you. This is designed to cater to experienced investors and traders.

Zacks Trade, as I’ve mentioned earlier, is like how Interactive Brokers or IB functions with similar mobile app and platform. Zacks Trade is a bit more expensive because of two things: excellent customer service and free broker-assisted trades.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Zacks Trade falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so much money you have to start with.

Let’s face it, unless you have a lot of money to start with, you don’t stand to make much money with stocks.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to worry all day about losing your money in the blink of an eye?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without worrying about losing all your money overnight!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now?

That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about the constant and crazy market volatility that stocks entail.

So, getting back to Zacks Trade,  if you take one of their picks…you could lose BIG TIME.

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Zacks Trade group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Zacks Trade, where you’re profiting maybe $10 per trade, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

Nathan T

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike Zacks Trade, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have passive income with most of your day being spent ENJOYING your money, NOT losing it.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
