It's the perfect analogy for the business model I'm about to talk about.

So check this out.

Imagine a toll booth...

Alright good.

Now imagine the cars coming from a road, paying a few bucks, and passing through.

Great!

Now tying this back to business, imagine that each road is a referral, each car is a customer, and the money paid at the toll...

Goes straight to your pocket.

But how?

Local Businesses.

You see, businesses are always after any way that can get more people calling, emailing, and submitting forms on their website.

And they're always willing to pay a pretty penny to someone who can do exactly that.

Now this might not work for some businesses...like Walmart for example...they just don't need it.

But we're not interested in what doesn't work right?

We're interested in what DOES work.

So the types of businesses that could really benefit from what you're offering here are service based businesses.

Businesses that mainly rely on phone calls and people submitting forms on their website. You'll want to target these businesses because this is where you'll earn the most amount of money for the least amount of work.

Take what I'm doing here for example...this is much more competitive because I'm literally competing with millions of other sites just to be in front of you eyes right now.

It's tougher, takes longer, and requires much, much, more money.

Till you’re advanced, like me, you typically wanna start with low-hanging fruit. Things like:

• Snow removal Colorado Springs, Colorado
• 24 hour towing Rochester, New York

By going after what I'm showing you, you'll only have to compete with a few different small businesses for that exact job in mid sized cities.

And believe me, this is how I got my start...it's freakin' cake.

Please don't take offense to this, but most local companies just don't know what the hell they're doing so it's like knocking out third graders.

Just think about it for a second, there are thousands of cities you could do this in compounded by multiple businesses in each of those cities!

You're not limited by national borders either, you can do this for any city in the world.

It's not stretch to say that there's literally a million + niches you can hop in and be successful right away. You'll never find saturation being an issue with this virtual toll booths business.

Why Am I Telling You This?

So if I'm making so much money from it myself, why am I bothering telling you?

After all, aren't I just creating more competition for myself?

The truth is, I want money...

But not yours, I could honestly care less.

You see, I'm good at what I do, and businesses pay me handsomely for it.

Now do me a big favor here...open up a new incognito window and log out of anything Google related (youtube, gmail, etc).

This will ensure that the search results you get are unbiased.

Now Google the following phrase:

• popcorn ceiling removal New York City

If you copy and pasted that word for word, you should see their "toll booth" at the very top of the map pack and google's organic section.

Now go ahead and click that listing, it should look like this:

Pretty freaking ugly huh?

It's arguably not even complete, it doesn't have an about page or even a contact page. Yet what it lacks doesn't even matter.

This simple cookie cutter website took only a few hours to build, launch, and ranked in just about 2 weeks time. As a result, this little virtual tollbooth generates 160 leads per month (form submits & calls).

This drywall contractor he sends these leads to pays him $4 for each lead. If you do the math, that's $640 every month he pockets for something he doesn't even have to touch!

Talk about mailbox money.

Keep in mind, that's all organic...no ad spend at all.

The only ongoing expenses this student has for his "virtual toll booth" is his domain, hosting, and local phone number for tracking purposes.

All that combined is about $40...so that's a 93.75% profit margin!

So what happens if this contractor decides to stop paying? He'll just move on to a different drywall contractor who's hungry and looking to dominate the competition. All he'll have to do is switch routing around with MAYBE three clicks.

Besides, it's highly unlikely that someone will stop paying for the #1 maps listing. Personally, I've only dealt with that when my first guy retired.

Get the picture now? Once you're up and running, each of these little "toll booths" will pay you every 30 days for many years to come. In fact, my best record is 7 years and still going strong.

Now what better way to make money with this than to duplicate it over and over again?

You made a big dollar in one market with these methods, what if you create another one of these websites in another location?

Don't worry about not having a phone number for these areas either, there are several different cheap options that will give you personal access to the types of numbers you need. These softwares will give you the tracking you need for each lead that comes through.

Just take a minute to imagine what it would be like if you had a bunch of these sites going to work every day so you don't have to. The only conversations you'd need to have would be a with another business owner like yourself, and even those can take place over text or email if you're a bit introverted like yours truly...

So if this stuff is all so easy and soooo profitable, why don't these businesses just do it themselves?

The truth is some do. There have been countless business owners who join the virtual toll booth group and hire someone to run it full time for them.
