Viral Vault Review (Updated [year]): Is Jordan Welch Legit?

Intro to Jordan Welch's Viral Vault

Jordan Welch's Viral Vault eCommerce program is a throwback to the golden era of dropshipping, but he's not giving up on the industry just yet.

You might have stumbled across this guy's ads on YouTube, Instagram, or other social media platforms, and I'm guessing you liked what he was a pitching - since, you know, you're here, searching up Jordan Welch, or maybe even some of his competition like the eCom Good Life program.

It's tricky with these guru-types. Some of them make it all sound so easy...and sometimes that's true, sometimes it's not.

Well, I have good news.

I've been digging into these online courses for years, and I've seen my fair share of stellar programs, as well as ones that...well, they kinda suck. I've written up everything from a detailed analysis of dropshipping niches to how to become a real estate investor.

After grinding out review after review, I've realized that there are certain green lights and red lights when it comes to figuring out who the good guys are.

So what I'm gonna do for you is highlight those pros and cons, figure out how much all this stuff costs, and even go over some alternatives to compare this program up against.

Now, let's get rollin' with our Viral Vault review!

DISCLAIMER:

This Viral Vault review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • People have made money from dropshipping in the past, which means it could still be possible today.
  • More people are buying online than ever, which could mean you can get some of them to buy from you.
  • Jordan Welch has a very popular YouTube channel, which means he must have some charisma as a marketer.
CONS
  • Dropshipping has been on the decline for years now, which means you may be fighting an uphill battle.
  • Jordan Welch's program has some bad reviews online, which might mean he will charge your credit card even if you cancel.
  • Since it's been around for a while now, drop shipping has become oversaturated - and that means your competition will be super high.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - What's The Verdict On Viral Vault?

what is viral vault jordan welch

Viral Vault is a dropshipping program designed to help students navigate online marketplaces, finding the best deals and making the right connections to score some financial freedom.

There's a pretty solid sell for Jordan Welch to make off the top: more people are selling more things online than ever before.

But does that mean it's a can't-miss opportunity?

No.

It actually means there's a lot more people trying to directly compete with you. And since dropshipping is known to be a "race to the bottom" in terms of pricing, you'll have to sell a lot of cheap things to make any kind of profit.

And unless you're living in China, or friends with some middlemen over there, you're gonna find yourself up against other stores who are able to cut corners and sell for way cheaper than you.

This doesn't sound like my idea of financial freedom, personally.

As for Jordan Welch, it's pretty obvious he knows a thing or two about marketing himself, as he has over a million subscribers on his personal YouTube channel...but does that mean he can teach a course?

Some of the best athletes make awful coaches, for example.

His personal Instagram page has over 100k followers, but his Viral Vault IG only has around 1,500...and that one has been around for 5 years, so part of me wonders if Welch just got lucky at the right time.

There was a sweet spot around 2015-2019 where dropshipping was killing it, but I think 2020 just got so many more people looking online for ways to make money, so now there's way more competition.

At the end of the day, is Viral Vault worth it?

I don't know.

But there are enough red flags for me that I'd try out another industry first, one that you can bank on.

Personally, I just stumbled onto something called Digital Leasing the other day, and it seems to be working well for a lot of their students. Apparently you just bring in customers for local businesses, and you do it all online.

A nice monthly paycheck from a local business sounds a lot better than fending off thousands of other dropshippers from China.

Digital Leasing Legit

Anyway, feel free to check it out before we move on with our Viral Vault review.

Who Benefits From Viral Vault...And Who Should Move On?

AreaScoreDescription
Time Investment1/5Dropshipping requires basically all of your time...unless you're not getting any business, I guess.
Level of Control2/5It seems like Jordan will strongly suggest you sell products he chooses for you, which lowers your control even more.
Ease of Implementation3/5Kind of easy to set up with Jordan doing a bunch for you, but keeping the business running is far from easy.
Profit Potential2/5Tricky to make money with the low profit margins of dropshipping.

Viral Vault might be for you if...

  1. You've done some other eCommerce courses (like Skup) and had a good time
  2. You know some wholesalers in China
  3. You have no problem working 7 days a week to grind your business to the top

On the other hand, it probably doesn't make sense to join up if...

  1. You're looking for something with passive income
  2. You don't like the reviews about Jordan Welch not honoring refunds
  3. You'd prefer less competition, so you can set more profitable prices

eCommerce as a whole isn't the worst - it's just the idea of selling stuff online. But dropshipping?

It's not for me.

These days, people are used to Amazon prime, where they can get their stuff sometimes as soon as the same day!

Dropshipping often requires you to have multiple connections, and sometimes one customer will make an order for several different items that you'll have to go to a bunch of different suppliers for.

If your product takes over a week to get to your customer...good luck with that.

That might work if it's a very special, ultra-customized piece of jewelry or something, but realistically you want to be able to compete with Amazon as best as possible.

Personally, I just don't see the appeal of quitting a 9-5 just to work a job that makes you ALWAYS on the clock.

Find something that'll take a little bit of work to start, sure...but the goal should be financial freedom. Freedom to spend time with family, friends, and take care of the things that matter most to you.

There are never any guarantees in life, but if you master lead generation and work with a solid mentor, then who knows? You might actually be able to do your job from the beach one day...

Who Is Jordan Welch?

who is jordan welch viral vault

Jordan Welch started hustling as a 14 year-old youngster...and unsurprisingly, his first five businesses failed.

A lot of people would have quit after all that, so I have to give him credit for sticking to it. That kind of thing can really build character, and clearly it ended up working out for Mr. Welch in the end.

Eventually, he found out about making some money through the dropshipping business model, and started cranking out a bunch of cash per month. Some people think he got lucky and joined up right at the peak of dropshipping - and that is true - but you won't just magically get rich with any online hustle.

Hard work will help just about anyone achieve their goals, and I don't think Welch made it totally on luck.

However, it does seem his Viral Vault social media accounts are struggling to gain the same kind of following that his personal accounts have gotten, which is a sign he may have worked hard and also timed his efforts well.

How Much Does Viral Vault Cost?

how much does viral vault cost

It appears that Viral Vault will set ya back $67/month, which comes to $804 every year.

Apparently, the company will offer you upsells that can set you back over on extra $1,000.

They promise that they'll do the store for you if you pay that extra money, although some customers report buying the upsell and not receiving the extra Done For You help.

Viral Vault Free Trial/Refund Policy

viral vault refund policy

Jordan Welch has a bit of a complicated refund policy: his site states that within 7 days, you will get a full refund, no questions asked.

Sounds good.

However, between 7-14 days, you will have to jump through a bunch of hoops to show you "made an effort" in his eyes before you can get any money back. These ones are always tricky.

If this is honest and Jordan really just wants to see an effort, then that's cool...but unfortunately, there are a bunch of reviews out there from former students stating that their refunds were denied no matter what they did.

Even worse is the whole "free trial" that's supposed to take pressure off the prospective student...but a bunch of them have been complaining about having their credit cards charged, even after the trial was cancelled.

Be careful!

So, is Viral Vault legit?

It depends what you mean.

I don't really think Jordan Welch is trying to run a scam with absolutely no product or service behind what he's doing. The program seems to have modules, coaches, a community, etc.

But is it worth your time?

That's a whole 'nother question.

Personally, I don't think dropshipping in general is worth it these days...it's a 24/7 grind, the opposite of financial freedom. I think Jordan offers a decent course that isn't too overpriced, but it's just hard to go over the fact that dropshipping sucks.

And then there's the whole side of things where a Viral Vault member might not even get their money back just because Jordan Welch doesn't believe they deserve it, even if it's within 14 days.

If you're gonna put all that work into an eCommerce business, you might as well just look into SEO and Facebook targeting lessons, and then use that knowledge to help you develop a sold grasp of lead generation.

It's the easiest way to make money online, at least as far as options that actually have high upside.

Jordan Welch is no scammer, but I'll always steer students toward a stronger industry, especially if there are great mentors teaching it.

Personal Opinion On Viral Vault

market testing viral vault scam or legit

You can pick the best industry in the world, and it'll still be a bad course if the mentor isn't right for you.

So, how do you choose the right program?

  • Make sure you get along with the mentor's energy
  • Think about yourself doing this for the next ten years of your life
  • Ask yourself if the work really seems like something you can handle

I don't think Jordan is the worst guru.

In fact, how about a quick 3 things I like about his program:

  1. Relatively transparent website, explains the costs and what's in the course
  2. Offers a daily product spotlight to help students every day
  3. Some of his video ads on YouTube have over a million views

...and, to be fair, 3 things I don't really like:

  1. There's a ton of free eCommerce training out there by now
  2. Since dropshipping has already peaked, now there's more people but less opportunity
  3. Sketchy refund policy

What's Inside Viral Vault?

whats inside of viral vault

Here's some of what Jordan Welch offers in his Viral Vault program:

Get 2 Winning Products Daily

In this portion of the training, Jordan gives your two daily trending product suggestions on what you could sell. At the very least, you'll have a bunch of free stuff sitting around!

Training Program Access

Well...I figured access to the program was a given, but here we are.

Jordan boasts of his coaches being industry experts who have made millions of dollars in sales. This is where Welch claims you'll get all the knowledge you need to run a great "Jordan Welch Shopify store".

Personal Coaching

Again, I'd hope this was the case! Apparently that team of wealthy eCommerce coaches will always be ready for your questions, every day of the week.

Plug And Play

This area focuses on video ad templates - apparently the marketing tools Jordan Welch's online course has to offer will also include instruction on how to market every product he suggests you sell - even including Facebook targeting suggestions.

I don't really like the idea that you won't have much room to pick your own products, but maybe Jordan knows best. He says once you get access to the material only Viral Vault can offer, then you'll be racking up money every month, long-term.

Big promises!

Work With Jordan

Apparently Jordan Welch will make himself available every week to coach everyone in a group, taking questions and answering them as best as he can.

24/7 Support Team

If these guys are really available at 3am on a Friday night, that'd be impressive! If true, the Viral Vault customer service would be highly impressive.

Conclusion: Viral Vault Review

is jordan welch viral vault worth it

So, should you hand all your money over to Jordan Welch's Viral Vault program?

Probably not.

Listen, if you're gonna pick an online course creator to lead you, you should at least make sure it's in the right industry.

At Jordan Welch's price point (not too expensive), and if he is really available every week for a coaching call...well, that's not the worst program.

However, I just have a hard time recommending dropshipping to anyone at this stage of the game.

It's oversaturated, there's no financial freedom since you'll have to be addicted to your work if you wanna keep up with the competition...it's just not for me.

If you really want the "next big thing" (what dropshipping was back about 5-10 years ago), then you have to check out Digital Leasing. It's gonna give you control, it'll strategically reduce your competition, and you'll be able to stack cash before you know it.

Like I always say, there's always another way...

What's My #1 Way To Make Money in 2024?

Digital Leasing

I have spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business,” the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online or been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full-time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Viral Vault, you don’t really own anything. You have limited control over the products you sell - you can't sell large items unless you wanna spend a ton of money on storage, so you're likely stuck selling spatulas and cheap little mugs.

Does that sound like you're really your own boss?

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) No Inventory: Even if you don't have to actually store products in your garage like with other ecom courses - someone else in your supply chain WILL have to deal with those physical products.

And physical products always have physical limitations. Even if you don’t have to manage the inventory, you still have to deal with supply chain shortages that cause major delays.

This is especially true if you sell anything that's customized, because it will have to be "made-to-order".

Imagine finally landing your first customer, and losing them after one sale because they had to wait 6 weeks to get their order...and then they leave bad reviews, scaring off all future business. Sometimes, that's all it takes to end your reputation.

With Digital Leasing, a 100% online business, you never even have to think about that risk.

5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple of keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call). Nothing like Print on Demand.

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 monthly in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with Viral Vault, you’d probably need to double the number of hours you spend working, double the orders, and double the budget you're spending on ads. Because, again, this program doesn’t scale.

6) Make Money Helping Real People: With Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Viral Vault, which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms, thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
