Viral Ecom Adz Review (Updated 2024): Who Are The Real Owners?

By: Joel & Josiah
Viral Ecom Adz Review

What’s up, hustlers? Today we’re diving into the world of ecommerce video ads with a Viral Ecom Adz review.

If you’re in the dropshipping game, you know how crucial those eye-catching video ads are for grabbing customers and boosting sales.

But creating killer ads that actually convert isn’t easy. You could spend hours tinkering with editing software, only to end up with a dud video that falls flat.

That’s where services like Viral Ecom Adz come in – they promise to deliver high-converting video ads for your products, taking that headache off your plate.

But as someone who has heard this offer before, I know that a lot of companies:

  1. Overpromise and underdeliver
  2. Show only the best 1% of results
  3. Take their time and consistently fall short of expectations

Regardless, do their ads live up to the hype?

I’m going to break it all down for you in this no-BS review. We’ll look at their services, pricing, examples of their work, and most importantly, whether they can actually help drive sales for your ecommerce business.

Since this is a “done for you” service, there isn’t much of a curriculum or explanation behind the services they provide. It’s clear they want to keep the “secret sauce” as secretive as possible. There’s little in terms of mentorship and guidance but they do have a pretty active Discord group as well as a VIP community section that you can join for discounts and other perks.

Viral Ecom Adz could be a great way to scale your ad creation if you already have successful ecommerce products.

If ecommerce and dropshipping is your business model, creating social media ads can be a fast track to getting a lot of attention to your products.
Overall, the videos they create are not the best quality nor are they unique in any way. They’re just regurgitated Alibaba product videos and other clips found online.

The business model of dropshipping can be a consistent race to the bottom as people are always going to try and undercut your pricing to offer the same product for less.

Why Listen To Us?

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online
  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it
  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR – Is There Actually Potential with Viral Ecom Adz?

Is There Actually Potential with Viral Ecom Adz?

Alright, let’s get straight to the point – is Viral Ecom Adz worth checking out for your ecommerce video ad needs? Here’s the too long; didn’t read version.

No, it’s not.

Simple right?

Viral Ecom Adz is a video editing service that specializes in creating ads for ecommerce and dropshipping products. Their whole deal is using a “proven formula” to craft video ads that are specifically designed to convert viewers into buyers.

They’ve made over 40,000 video ads for more than 15,000 clients, which is a pretty impressive number. And they offer different ad styles like traditional video ads, TikTok ads, user-generated content (UGC) ads, and more.

But the problem is, their ads simply don’t convert according to many Viral Ecom Adz reviews on sites like Trustpilot.

It’s like waking up on Christmas morning after staring at a big box under the tree only to open it and find a small tie inside.

You get this beautifully packaged series of ecommerce videos designed to convert and everything looks fine on the outside but in the end, you’re left disappointed.

But you might be saying, “what about all the screenshots of everyone’s Shopify store income”?

Then I would say “these results aren’t typical.” There are so many variables that go into creating successful ecommerce ads on social media like:

  • Target Audience Precision: Inaccurate or broad targeting can result in ads reaching irrelevant audiences, decreasing the effectiveness of the campaign.
  • Ad Content Relevance: If the ad content is not engaging or relevant to the target audience, it may fail to capture their interest or drive conversions.
  • Platform Variability: Each social media platform has its unique algorithm. Not optimizing ads according to these algorithms can result in poor ad visibility and engagement.
  • Competition Analysis: Failure to analyze and adapt to the strategies of competitors can lead to a lack of differentiation, causing ads to be less compelling to the target audience.

Without understanding these factors, no agency can truly provide you with a successful ecommerce ad.

So, why not jump skip and hop over all of this to Digital Leasing?

It’s a simple concept built around providing people with what they need. Local businesses need a website and traffic and you need revenue. It’s a match made in heaven.

Now you don’t have to worry about audiences, ad relevance scores, different social media platforms, ad cost, and whether or not you’re being taken by some company overseas overcharging you for social ads.

This is a straightforward business built on providing value to brick and mortar businesses in your community.

Who Benefits From Viral Ecom Adz and Who Doesn’t?

Who Benefits From Viral Ecom Adz and Who Doesn’t?

When it comes to a service like Viral Ecom Adz, some ecommerce businesses and entrepreneurs will be a better fit for it than others.

Let’s break down the types of people and businesses that are ideal for using their video ad creation services, and those who may want to look elsewhere.

Who Benefits

  • Established Ecommerce Businesses: If you already have a successful ecommerce brand or dropshipping store, but you’re struggling to create video ads that really move the needle, Viral Ecom Adz could be clutch. Their whole thing is taking that video ad workload off your plate so you can focus on other areas of your business.
  • Those With Some Video Ad Budget: Let’s be real, hiring video editing services isn’t cheap, especially if you want quality work. While this is more a “budget service”(their packages start around $40-$100 each), it’s worth considering if you’re looking to invest in video ads for socials.
  • Hustlers in a Time Crunch: Putting together a single video ad from scratch can take hours, even days of work for a solid video editor. If you simply don’t have time to spare creating ads yourself, outsourcing to a service like this could be a lifesaver.

Who Doesn’t Benefit

  • Beginner Dropshippers on a Tight Budget: If you’re just getting started in ecommerce with little to no revenue coming in yet, shelling out even $40 for a video ad might be too much of an investment. Focus on getting sales and utilizing free traffic from SEO and social media first.
  • Those Who Want to Learn Video Editing: While convenient, using Viral Ecom Adz means you’ll never actually learn the skills of creating video ads yourself. If that’s a capability you want to build long-term, you may be better off taking a video editing course.
  • Ecommerce Brands Looking for Virality: From what I’ve seen, Viral Ecom Adz creates solid product ads, but nothing that screams “this is guaranteed to get millions of views!” If you’re really trying to hit the viral video marketing jackpot, you may need to search elsewhere.

I think the most important note here is that you need to have a semi-successful ecommerce store for this service to make sense to you.

You won’t want to spend money driving ad traffic to pages that are broken, products that are out of stock, or ones that aren’t already selling somewhat well.

If you’re still struggling to get your dropshipping store off the ground, there are some programs like Full Dropshipping Course and Dropship Lifestyle that could help you increase sales.

Let’s take a high-level look at Viral Ecom Adz and see if they’re one of the best providers of video ads and creative services for ecommerce businesses, or just another copycat.

We’ll overview their business model, the people behind the company, how their pricing works, what makes them unique (or not), and my candid personal take after digging into their offerings.

Business Model

The Viral Ecom Adz business model revolves around creating video ads, images ads, user-generated content (UGC), and other creative assets to drive traffic and sales for ecommerce and dropshipping stores.

They claim that the “secret sauce” is taking existing video clips and product footage and then editing it together with persuasive copy and calls-to-action that are tested and proven to convert.

These video ads are designed specifically for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and other social media sites where ecommerce brands spend heavily on paid advertising and influencers to promote products they use themselves.

If you have a product that could be somewhat controversial or eye-catching, I think this type of marketing could work. This is also something that Jordan Welch focuses on in Viral Vault

About Noah Brewer and Anthony Napolitano

about the gurus behind the service

Viral Ecom Adz was co-founded by Noah Brewer and Anthony Napolitano, two young ecommerce entrepreneurs with inspiring rags-to-riches stories.

Noah got his start in dropshipping at just 16 years old in 2017. With a lot of hustle and help from the ecommerce community, he was able to generate over $1 million in sales in his first year.

Between 2017-2022, Noah replicated his dropshipping methods across dozens of stores, amassing over $30 million in total revenue from Facebook and TikTok ads.

In 2019, Noah partnered with one of his top students, Anthony, to launch Viral Ecom Adz. With so many people asking where he got his high converting ads, they saw an opportunity to provide that service to the wider ecommerce world using Noah’s proven ad formulas.

What started as a video ad company has evolved into an entire ecosystem under the “Viral Ecom” umbrella. This includes an educational arm with over 2,000 paid students, a creative agency for ecomm brands, and a media platform sharing free content from industry leaders.

Noah and Anthony position Viral Ecom as a community for underdogs looking to replicate their ecommerce success stories.

My overall opinion is that these guys have definitely had some success and their goal is to help you match it.

Viral Ecom Adz Cost

viral ecom adz cost

In terms of pricing, Viral Ecom Adz cost comes at different price points. Their basic “Video Ad Package” for a single video ad starts at $40. If you need multiple variations for split testing, they have bundles like the “Split Testing Ad Package” with 4 organic video ads for $60.

For the increasingly popular UGC-style TikTok ads, a single UGC video will run you $100, or you can get 3 variations in their “UGC TikTok Split Testing Package” for $300. They also offer services for image ads, Snapchat ads, and more.

As you can gather, Viral Ecom Adz pricing is incredibly cheap for an ads agency running ads for ecommerce.

If you become a VIP member, it makes buying video ads even cheaper. They are selling ad packages as well as other perks with a VIP membership.

One downside is their short refund window. Since they have such a quick turnaround on purchased video ads, you need to request a full refund within 1-3 days otherwise you’re out of luck.

What Makes This Service Different?… Or Not Different?

To be frank, there isn’t anything particularly unique or revolutionary about the Viral Ecom Adz service model. Video ad creation for ecommerce and dropshipping brands is nothing new. There’s people doing it all over social media with the help of influencers as well.

Everyone has what they consider to be their “proven formula” for success.

Viral Ecom Adz’s whole process seems to be taking existing video clips and product footage that’s already out there, then editing it together with punchy copy and calls-to-action. While effective video editing and copywriting are important, they aren’t exactly reinventing the wheel here.

Their portfolio of work looks solid, but I didn’t see anything mindblowingly creative or innovative compared to what other skilled video editors are producing.

In fact, some of the videos look like they’re taken directly from the Chinese suppliers so it looks like something you’d see on Alibaba or Temu.

Which is basically what dropshipping is anyway and why it’s not a solid business model to start.

My Personal Opinion On Viral Ecom Adz

My Personal Opinion On Viral Ecom Adz
Area of ImportanceScoreTakeaway
Time Investment4/5Since this is a done-for-you service, there isn’t much of a time investment on your part.
Upfront Cost4/5These ads are cheap compared to many of their competitors but remember, you get what you pay for.
Learning Curve2/5I think there’s a steep learning curve because you can’t just throw an ad up and expect to have success. You need to know what to do when the traffic actually comes to your site.
Profit Potential4/5Potential is high in both ecommerce and dropshipping if you have some successful products already on the site. Otherwise these ads aren’t worth anything.

After digging into Viral Ecom Adz, here’s my personal take: They seem like a reasonably affordable and competent video ad creation service for ecommerce businesses.

Their portfolio demonstrates they have skilled video editors on staff who can put together clean, persuasive video ads following proven direct-response principles.

But as someone who has reviewed countless offers very similar to this one.

That said, there’s no “secret sauce” here.

I’ve seen too many services make similar claims, only for the results to be hit-or-miss. A lot still comes down to having a great offer, attractive creatives, intelligent targeting, and continual optimization.

While Viral Ecom Adz could definitely produce you some high-quality video ads, I wouldn’t take their income claims and testimonials as gospel.

There’s a good chance at least some cherry-picking is going on to present their most successful cases. I’d love to see more widespread, verified evidence that their ads consistently crush it for a majority of clients.

Especially when you can find a series of negative reviews on sites like Trustpilot

Can it work? Sure. Will it work? Maybe.

My overwhelming impression is that Viral Ecom Adz is just one video ad service among many in a crowded, commoditized space.

They aren’t doing anything particularly innovative – just budget-friendly work with quick turnaround times if you’re an ecommerce brand looking to outsource video ads.

With so many video ad creation services out there, how do you choose one for your ecommerce business? Here are my top 3 criteria:

  1. Look for verified case studies and income testimonials from real clients, not just hypothetical “commit and you’ll get rich” promises.
  2. Evaluate their portfolio of work critically – does it actually look innovative and fresh, or just a rehash of the same old stuff?
  3. Make sure they have transparent, reasonably affordable pricing with no tricky upsells or hidden fees. You shouldn’t have to deal with shady sales tactics.

Weigh the potential benefits of outsourcing your video ads against the realities.

Is This a Viral Ecom Adz Scam?

Let me be clear right off the bat – there is no Viral Ecom Adz scam, that’s the truth.

From what I can tell, they do seem to provide the video ad creation services they advertise. You pay them, their editors put together video ads for your ecommerce products, simple as that.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean I’d wholeheartedly recommend using Viral Ecom Adz or similar services, especially if you’re just starting out in ecommerce.

Here’s my skepticism.

While video ads are undoubtedly important for driving traffic and sales to an ecommerce store, they’re really just one small piece of the much larger ecommerce puzzle. Having slick video creatives is practically useless if you don’t have a few other critical bases covered first, such as:

  1. A legitimately good product that provides value (not just dropshipped junk)
  2. A brand that customers resonate with and trust
  3. Sophisticated targeting to get your ads in front of the right audiences

The reality is, the dropshipping business model that a lot of these video ad services cater to is extremely oversaturated and unsustainable for most people.

You’re selling cheap, undifferentiated products in a blazing red ocean competing on price and shady marketing tactics.

Profit margins are razor thin even when you do make sales.

While Viral Ecom Adz’s video ads could potentially help you attract some customers initially, what happens when your first big win is replicated by a thousand me-too competitors with the same generic products? You’re back to square one in the relentless rat race.

Rather than spinning your wheels on yet another dropshipping course or service, I believe budding entrepreneurs are better off exploring more reliable, defensible business models from the start.

This is why I recommend Digital Leasing.

It lets you leverage digital assets to create semi-passive income based on your own evolving efforts.

Once your assets are built, profits flow in month after month. And you own everything. You don’t have to rely on social media ads, product checking, quality assurance, returns, complaints, or any of that.

Expecting any sort of video marketing to make me rich just isn’t realistic if you ask me. Digital Leasing is a better and more reliable alternative in the long-run.

What’s Inside Viral Ecom Adz?

What’s Inside Viral Ecom Adz?

Viral Ecom Adz provides a variety of video ad creation services tailored specifically for ecommerce and dropshipping businesses. Here’s the scoop on what this really means:

Video Ads

Their bread-and-butter service is crafting traditional video advertisements for products. This includes short 30-45 second videos edited together from existing product clips/footage along with persuasive sales copy and calls-to-action. You can get a single video ad or bundle packages with multiple variations for split testing.

Image Ads

In addition to video, Viral Ecom Adz also creates image-based ads in square and vertical formats ideal for platforms like Facebook and Instagram feeds or stories. Similar to the videos, these assemble product images/graphics with on-brand text overlays.

TikTok Ads

With the rise of TikTok as an advertising channel and conversion rates around 1.1%, they’ve expanded into making TikTok-friendly video ads that are sized correctly for the platform at 15-20 seconds long. You can get single ads or split test packages with multiple creatives.

UGC Ads

User-generated content or “UGC” style ads have become all the rage on TikTok and other platforms. Viral Ecom Adz offers individual UGC video ads or split test packages, all using real creators to give the ads an authentic, organic feel.

Snapchat Ads

They also provide Snapchat-specific ad creatives in vertical video format, appealing to brands who advertise on this particularly channel.

In addition to these different ad styles and formats, Viral Ecom Adz includes services like unlimited revisions, various turnaround times (standard is 1-3 business days), and agency-level resources if you’re an established brand in need of high volumes of creatives.

Is It Time for Viral Ecom Adz?

Time to settle the score. If you made it this far, you’re serious about your ecommerce and dropshipping marketing and you want to know if these dudes and their videos can help you attract more attention and revenue for your ecommerce business.

Can they? Sure, they CAN.

I think it goes something like this.

Running these ads is better than running no ads at all.

There’s no guarantee that you’ll experience any results at all from these ads. In fact, a lot of reviews that you find off the site express the disappointed in their conversion rates.

As a result, I can’t recommend Viral Ecom Adz.

It’s just regurgitated content available all over the internet thrown together with some copywriting and there’s a very good chance they are just outsourcing this work anyway.

You’d be better off bringing someone in from freelancer websites and just hiring them to do this for you to cut out the middle man.

What is My Top Recommendation for Making Money Online in 2024?

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online - Digital Leasing

After taking a deep dive into Viral Ecom Adz and evaluating their service offerings, pricing, and overall positioning in the ecommerce space, I have some reservations.

My biggest concerns lies with the ecommerce and dropshipping model that Viral Ecom Adz caters to.

I’m just not convinced that dropshipping undifferentiated products from China in an oversaturated market is a reliable, future-proof way to build a sustainable online business, especially for newcomers.

The ecommerce world is becoming hypercompetitive, with razor-thin margins and slimy marketing tactics becoming the norm.

That’s no way to build a sustainable long-term business that you can be proud of.

This perpetual rat race from one product to the next might work with high-quality video ads and compelling copywriting. But in reality, Viral Ecom Adz is just giving you content found all over the internet smushed together into a short video.

Even if you have success, what happens when:

  • Your products are no longer in demand and your sales drop off.
  • A competitor comes in and undercuts your price and now you can’t make any sales.
  • The supplier increases the price of the product and now your narrow magin won’t cut it.

It’s a vicious cycle.

There has to be a better way to create long-term wealth online without playing by those kinds of rigged rules, right? Well, I believe there is – it’s called Digital Leasing.

The concept is simple: build digital assets that attract the right audience then lease those assets to businesses and collect residual income month after month. This is hands-off, simple, and reliable over a long period of time.

No more spinning your wheels on product fads and ad fatigue.

Some key advantages of digital leasing over ecommerce:

  1. True passive income streams. Ecommerce brands always have to stay on the marketing hamster wheel. With leased digital assets, the money keeps flowing even when you take your foot off the gas.
  2. High profit margins and low overhead. Just because your costs are low doesn’t mean your prices have to be too. You can command premium rates for access to your valuable assets.
  3. Model longevity and scalability. It’s relatively simple to replicate your success by replicating your digital leases and assets. No infinite product void to get trapped in.
  4. Legitimate value creation. You’re providing quantifiable marketing solutions to real businesses, not peddling cheap commodities through shady tactics.
  5. More fulfilling work. Who wants to spend their life chasing ecommerce fads and literally selling crap to people at a markup? With digital leasing, you can build assets with impact that customers feel good paying for.

Don’t get me wrong, dropshipping and ecommerce can be lucrative for the savvy and persistent operator. But most newbies get chewed up and spit out by the industry fairly quickly when their initial motivation runs out.

Digital leasing provides a simpler, more sustainable path to online success in my opinion. You get to build assets and income streams while learning skills with longterm equity.

There’s no sleazy race-to-the-bottom marketing required, lower risk overall, and a chance to genuinely provide value.
