What is Cutco Cutlery?

Cutco Cutlery is a manufacturer of high-quality kitchen cutlery. The name Cutco comes from Cooking Utensils Company and was established in 1949.

Cutco manufactures a variety of everyday and specialized kitchen equipment. They are mostly known for their knives but they also have utensils, shears, flatware, cookware and sporting knives as well.

There used to be hundreds of small independent sellers back in the day. Cutco is a 65-year-old company that works out of Olean, New York.

It wasn’t until 1981, that Vector Marketing was founded and became an independent seller for Cutco and because they sold more than any other independent seller Cutco Cutlery Corporation decided to purchase them in 1995.

And just like that Vector Cutco became one.

You won’t find Cutco products sold in just any store.

The only way to purchase these products is through in-home sales demonstrations, local events, or Cutco retail locations. As well as from their website.

Which is why you’ll often see a slew of ad’s for them. Positions such as a sales manager, and salespeople.

They need help with sales. And they hire a ton of people to train so that they can sell cutco products.

It’s likely you’ve seen their ad’s before when looking for a job. There are a ton of recruiting manager positions for Vector Cutco in various locations.

No. Vector Marketing is a single-level direct sales marketing company. They don’t have levels, you don’t have to recruit people.

With multi-level marketing company, sales representatives make money by building their downline and getting more sales representatives.

With Vector Marketing all of the reps are going to make base pay.

But you’ll make more money when you sell products.

Vector Marketing does recruit people and is actually one of the largest recruiters of undergraduate students in the United States.

They send out job and interview “offers,” which is very similar to MLMs.

You don’t need any work experience so basically anyone is able to become a distributor.

This is one of the reasons why they are often looked at as an MLM company by many people.

Some would call this a smart recruiting strategy, but others consider it predatory.

Short answer yes.

Vector Marketing has been helping college students and older high school students earn money.

What lawsuits Have Been Filed?

There have been a few lawsuits filed against Vector, and it seems like they get sued every couple of years. Each one being worse than the last.

In 1990, the Arizona Attorney General sued them for their recruiting techniques, calling them deceptive.

Then again in 1994, they were ordered to stop deceptive recruiting practices in Wisconsin.

In 2008, they got hit with a class-action lawsuit. They weren’t paying their sales representatives minimum wages and this case settled for $13 million in 2011.

In 2014, they faced another class-action suit for unpaid minimum wage in various states, including New York, California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, and Ohio.

And also in 2014, they were sued by one of their distributors for not getting proper training. She was drugged and raped while on a sales call.

Then in 2017, Vector Marketing had to pay $6.75 million to settle another class-action lawsuit. They didn’t pay sales representatives that attended the training. In this same year, another class-action lawsuit was filed by division managers. They believed they should be compensated as employees, not contractors.

Conclusion: Is Vector Marketing A Scam?

Vector Marketing is not a scam. You can make money working as a sales rep going door to door selling knives, kitchen cutlery, and sports knives.

The first thing you want to ask yourself is this question, “Do you really want to go door to door selling people knives for a 10% commission?”

How much money do you think you can really make with a 10% commission?

But on the other side of the coin,

You’re getting training and experience for future work. And this might be a good option for you if you’re looking for a career in sales or just need experience talking to people.

But if your a college student looking to make money selling knives isn’t going to be your best option.

Is Working For Vector Marketing A Good idea?

Listen, I’m not knocking Vector and Cutco has quality products.

But with all of the law-suits dealing with payment, I wouldn’t risk not getting paid.

And even if you do get paid it’s not going to offer you any type of substantial money, unless you’re able to book showing after showing and make sales.

And to do this you’d have to be doing more than part-time work. With a base pay of just $15-$18 per showing won’t be sustainable.

How many showings will you have to do just to make $100 for that week?

How many Cutco products will you have to sell?

We Recommed Something Better Than Vector...

What if you could do part-time work, making full-time money right from your kitchen table.

We uncovered a system that doesn’t involve selling a ton of products, doesn’t have you going door to door or showing in person or on zoom.

And you’ll create progressive passive income much like owning rental properties.

This allows you to take a week off while cramming for exams without losing out on money or sleep.

What We're Talking About Is Called Lead Generation?

But better…… local lead generation.

Here’s how it works,

You’ll start with your local city and choose a local business that needs leads.

You’ll build a website.

But you’re not going to choose just any business.

You’re going to find a company that literally has no idea how to get their phone ringing.

Most of these businesses will include tree services, roofing companies, electricians, plumbers and limousine companies.

They need leads and have no idea how to utilize the power of the internet to do it.

But you will.

And you’ll be able to provide them a lead generating website that ranks in Google for the exact searches that people are using right now.

We all know that the first few listings in Google are getting all of the clicks.

This is going to get that business’s phone ringing and they’ll be willing to pay you monthly or per lead to keep the phone calls coming.

These leads are gold to the business owner.

So how can you get started?

How Can I Learn More About lead Generation?

We found a training course that we highly recommend.

It’s helped people go from not knowing what SEO stands for to ranking websites to the number one listing again and again on Google.

It will walk you through exactly how to find businesses that need your services, how to build them a lead generation website and how to get the site listed in Google so their phone will start ringing and you can start profiting.

Here’s the thing,

You’re not just given information and left to figure it all out on your own.

You’re shown step-by-step how to do this and if you have a question you’ll get answers from support or the active Facebook group that you’ll have access too.

This group is filled with people eager to help. They’ve been through the program themselves and have built a successful business of their own.

They’ve been where you are. They understand the confusion, fear and want to help.

This training is going to far exceed the training you’ll get from Vector Marketing.

And the pay will surpass it tenfold.

You won’t have to worry about selling kitchen knives or doing showings…all you have to do is focus on building websites that will generate leads for business owners that need help and willing to pay.

Leads is the only product that you’ll need to sell.

And in reality this isn’t something that is going to be difficult to sell.

Every business needs them.

And this course is going to teach you exactly how to do this.

Here's How Much You Can Make

Remember leads are like gold to companies.

They are willing to pay anywhere from $50-$200.

So let’s say that the website gets just 10 calls a month…that means you can make $500-$2000 that month from one single website.

You’ll be making $500-$2,000 a month without having to lift a single finger.

Here’s the thing.

If you follow the exact process that this program lays out for you, you’ll be able to repeat this process again and again.

You’ll learn how to find the right niche in the right city. So you can get a lot more than just 10 calls a month.

That’s what makes this program so great.

They want you to succeed.

You’ll have control over your income.

Because you can continue to build more and more lead generation websites for people in other states.

You may live in Florida, but you found a city in New York that has a need for your services.

This works for any city in the United States.

You’ll even learn how to get the business owner to beg you for more leads.

So you won’t have to sell anything.

How Do I Get Started Today?

Are you ready to finally have control over your future and create your own company rather than going from job to job doing something that you hate?

Learn how you can start building, ranking, and generating leads for local businesses and making a full-time income doing it.
