Usana Reviews (2023): Is The Usana MLM Opportunity A Good One?

How important is your family's health to you?

You may be reading this because you put the highest value on the importance of health, especially for your family, and you are in constant search of products that will help you reach your goal.

It is noted that "Health and wellness" is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing sectors.

Now, I want to be completely honest here, so let's see if any of the Usana review complaints are legit...

DISCLAIMER:

This Usana MLM review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Maybe you'd want to take advantage of this surge and boost your finances? Many businesses are capitalizing on this enormous potential, and USANA Health Sciences is one of the industry's and the world's leaders.

But did you know that there is a significant variation in the quality and efficacy of nutritional supplements and personal care products?

Your decision is significant in terms of both your personal health and your earning prospects.

What To Expect From This Usana MLM Review

This article will review Usana MLM to see if it really is the best MLM course out there.

You'll learn whether network marketing is the right online business for you.

And at the end, you'll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Usana and MLM in general.

But most importantly, you'll see the exact system many others have used to build their own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made them swear off MLMs for good because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

What Is Usana?

What Is Usana

Usana is a wellness MLM company that manufactures pharmaceutical-grade nutrition products, as well as meals, energy, and personal care items.

All of Usana's products are science-based, and as their motto states, they are "The Cellular Nutrition Company," having been established by double Ph.D. scientist Dr. Myron Wentz, a specialist in human cell cultures.

Usana's business plan is based on direct selling, network marketing, and multi-level marketing.

Usana review

The ability to provide high-quality items to customers while avoiding retail markups and other inefficiencies in conventional distribution routes is a significant benefit.

As a result, Usana products are not available at retail shops since they are sold directly by Usana "independent distributors" known as "associates." They are essentially the sales force in their network marketing distribution business.

Usana is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the company stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: USNA).

Usana MLM And Founder History: Who Is Dr. Myron Wentz?

Usana MLM

"Dr. Myron Wentz is a world-renowned microbiologist, immunologist, and pioneer in the advancement of human cell culture technology and infectious disease diagnosis."

Dr. Wentz started Gull Laboratories in 1974 and created the first commercially accessible Epstein-Barr virus diagnostic test (commonly called Glandular Fever).

He received the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Life Sciences in June 2007." (Source: DrWentz.com)

Dr. Wentz is a bonafide scientist, with a Ph.D. in both microbiology and immunology. He is really interested in improving the health of as many people as he can reach throughout the world.

Dr. Myron Wentz

The fact that all Usana products are supported by sound research is a key factor in the "Usana MLM distinction."

Since the inception of Usana, science-based innovation has served as a solid basis for Usana.

What Dr. Myron Wentz began in 1992 has developed into a team of world-class scientists from several disciplines devoted to the continuous development of the world's greatest nutritional products.

USANA MLM has a team of scientists committed to innovation, science, and research and development (R&D) in order to provide the greatest products for everyone that operate at the cellular level.

The R&D team of Usana MLM consists of highly skilled chemists, molecular and cellular biologists, nutritional biochemists, pharmacists, and sports science specialists.

USANA MLM is constantly upgrading and producing new products based on nutritional scientific findings.

The quality of Usana products is unquestionable, as seen by the many honors and successes USANA MLM continues to acquire.

Usana MLM Review: Why Usana's Products Are The Best?

This is significant since the quality of the products is what distinguishes a totally legitimate company from a typical scam opportunity. Notice how the word "strength" rather than "quality"?

USANA MLM manufactures approximately 50 products ranging from Usana dietary and nutritional supplements to personal care items. Usana's products also include healthy snacks like this chocolate below.

Usanas Products

Usana MLM products such as Usana supplements seem to have largely positive product ratings on Amazon.

If you're reading this because you want to use Usana MLM products, this might be a solid sign that they're of high quality. However, if you're reading this review because of the Usana opportunity, you may want to wait a bit longer before getting too excited (or forever).

A handful of Usana products were advertised on eBay for less than their full price. It's reasonable to believe that they are desperate USANA distributors who have been compelled to accept less.

Is Usana Health Sciences an MLM company?

Usana Health Sciences an MLM company

Yes, Usana is an MLM.

Despite the fact that the products marketed by MLM companies differ, there is no disputing that they all work in the same manner.

Why, you could ask?

MLMs and pyramid schemes are often confused.

This is due to the fact that MLM companies utilize the same business strategy as the pyramid scheme: recruiting members.

Have you ever wondered why hunbots approach individuals on social media at random?

It's not only for the sake of advertising and getting people to purchase their products.

Their first objective is to recruit new people. This is due to the fact that the more people you attract, the more people you will have working for you, the more commissions you will earn.

The emergence of social media has made this practice easier.

MLMs are increasingly reliant on social media to grow their companies.

Usana Health Sciences an MLM company

Usana Review Complaints: Is Usana A Pyramid Scheme?

Usana members make money through selling services as well as recruiting new members, thus it is reasonable to state that Usana is not a pyramid scheme.

Remember that Usana is an MLM, thus its primary emphasis is on recruiting new members rather than selling.

You will also make substantially more money if you recruit.

This gives Usana the appearance of a disguised pyramid scheme.

Usana Review: Is Usana Legit Or A Scam?

Scam or Legit

No there is not a Usana scam going on.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful network marketing business... But there are better ways to build a business other than with network marketing.

Our #1 pick proves this. Because, unlike Usana, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

Usana MLM Review: Let Us Review Usana Business Opportunity

To be honest, there isn't much reason to be enthusiastic about the Usana opportunity.

The Usana company, like other multi-level marketing companies, has products to offer. But, the only way to generate any kind of meaningful money from Usana MLM is to recruit individuals to join the company.

To participate in this, you must acquire the Usana Business Development System for $29.95. This provides you with the fundamental information you'll need to get your USANA company up and running.

To be honest, selling the idea of the Usana opportunity is far easier than selling the products. You will discover a greater number of people who are receptive to the idea of earning money than those who are prepared to splurge on personal care products that are readily available elsewhere.

The Usana products may be of good quality, but are they sufficient to support USANA MLM without the need for recruitment? It is highly questionable.

Furthermore, wouldn't you prefer to buy a Usana multivitamin mix from a reputable pharmacy or business than from a random individual?

start a business with Usana

How do I start a business with Usana?

Usana may be used to produce money in two ways: Product sales and Recruiting of members.

You will need to establish your downline if you want to rank up and start enjoying some rewards.

How do you do it, you may wonder?

That is when the recruitment factor comes into play and where people think "usana scam"

And although there is no Usana scam going on, that's where MLMs get a bad wrap.

The more people in your downline you have, the more money you earn.

This is due to the fact that you will be receiving commissions on their sales as well.

The business model of an MLM is similar to that of a pyramid scheme business model. To be successful in an MLM, you will need to recruit hundreds or thousands of new members.

Can I Make Money With Usana MLM?

Yes, You can!

But...

There's a lot that comes along with MLM that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out the Top 5 Reasons Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don't get the wrong idea...

It's not impossible to make money with MLM, but if you're gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn't easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you're learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket many online businesses to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Usana’s Compensation Plan

usana compensation plan

So, is Usana legit? Let's look at the compensation plan.

The compensation plan of USANA is much more convoluted than that of typical MLM companies.

The concept behind the business is to fill up your left and right arms with individuals you recruit into the company. Following that, it is your responsibility to ensure that your downline is continually replenished with new members.

Let's look at some truths:

To have a possibility of long-term success, you must have at least two working persons (one for each arm) who are successful in the company.

Being successful today is insufficient for long-term success. They must remain successful indefinitely.

Your own work ethic and devotion play just a little role in your future success.

There is a limit to the number of people who can fill your arms. There is a limit for each arm.

It is obvious that the recruitment strategy they propose is for you to target your friends and family, who would then target their own friends and family, and so on.

There is so much wrong with this opportunity.

Pros And Cons Of Usana?

usana multivitamin mix

Pros

It Is An Established Company

Most MLM businesses do not even survive five years.

This suggests that Usana has outlasted the typical MLM's lifetime.

Usana has been in business since 1992, and they still make a lot of money.

It Is Trusted By Athletes

Usana seems to have some excellent products since elite sportsmen trust the brand.

Athletes have been using them for their health supplement requirements for quite some time.

Positive Product Reviews

This is understandable given that the originator, Myron Wentz, has received multiple accolades for his scientific achievements.

Usana's products are all scientifically supported, giving its consumers the confidence to continue utilizing them.

usana multivitamin

Cons

Expensive goods

MLMs with high-priced products are a significant red signal that the company might be a "pyramid scheme in disguise."

Instead of offering effective and affordable goods, the emphasis is on recruiting...

Usana's health supplement products are more expensive compared to those available on Amazon. There is a large price disparity.

You Have to Pay Before You Can Earn Commission

To earn commissions, you must purchase a particular number of products each month. This is either 100 or 200 points each month, which corresponds to around $130 - $150 per month as a starting point. Furthermore, you must make an initial product purchase of at least 200 points, which may cost up to $280.

If you don't make these purchases at least once a month, you'll forfeit any points you've earned and won't be able to earn commissions. So, like many others in the sector, you must pay to get paid.

Continual investments every four weeks

Despite promises that acquiring your welcome kit costs just $29.95 to "get started," that is simply the beginning. You must buy a particular quantity of stuff each month to keep your business centers "alive."

This may seem like an extra expense to you and most others, but USANA representatives will assure you it's not. Why?

Because you may sell them to others or consume them yourself.

This would not be a problem for people who can afford the continual investment. You may think of it as "substituted spending" (you'd have purchased Usana vitamins and such anyway, so you might as well buy from your own "store"). That's great for folks with those kinds of resources.

However, for individuals who are suffering from day-to-day expenses, this may be a very serious concern.

Usana Review Conclusion

The system at USANA is designed to help the owner and his friends at the top earn more money, not to help you make any money at all as a distributor.

The worst thing is that your success is heavily reliant on a vast number of people, most of whom you will not know personally.

Why not generate money in a system where your success is totally dependent on you?

Build your own lucrative online business and market whatever you want. There is no need for recruiting, no downlines, and no pyramid scheme.

When it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.

And even if you're dead set on becoming a network marketer, you've got way better options than Usana.

Keep in mind, we don't get paid to promote any of the programs we review. We personally think MLM is a great business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Usana falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline...you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now?

That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember Usana? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota...

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS.

Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Usana MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Usana, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Usana, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
