Unicity Scam: 7 Things You Should Know Before Joining

Is Unicity A Scam? Health And Wellness MLM Company In Review!

Today I will guide you in deciding whether Unicity is right for you.

Founded in 2001, the platform is legit, but it doesn’t mean you should jump on board right away.

Because it’s multi-level marketing (MLM), you have to invite more people to join you in order to make money.

We’re going to review multiple aspects of Unicity to decide if it really is the best network marketing platform out there.

We’ll talk about whether or not you should join Unicity and if it’s the right decision for you.

In the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Unicity and MLMs in general.

But most important, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off network marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

What Is Unicity About?

Unicity is a multi-level marketing company that develops, promotes, and conducts research on health and wellness products. This brand was formerly known as Enrich International and has established a reputation for providing consumers with cutting-edge essentials.

The company is based in Orem, Utah, and was founded in 2001.

Over the years, the business has expanded into various countries like Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Greater China, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Germany, Venezuela, Sweden, Columbia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Korea, the United States, and others.

It is under the umbrella of Rexall–a group of American drugstores and Enrich International, an MLM brand that sells nutritional supplements and herbal remedies. The two brands merged in 2001, creating Unicity, which was acquired by Stewart Hughes in 2006.

Unicity Product Line

Unicity Bios Life Slim claims to support healthy cholesterol levels.

Unicity falls under the health and wellness niche, as mentioned earlier. They have supplements which they claim to help you lose weight, reduce signs of aging, detoxify, provide nutrients, and promote overall well-being.

Unicity Core Products has over 20 products to choose from and they are divided into six categories under the Unicity Core Products:

  • Matcha
  • Complete
  • Cleanse
  • Balance
  • Unimate
  • Core Health

As with any network marketing company, these products are marketed as their flagship products.

The essentials can be bought individually or in bundles or packs. In terms of price, it’s a typical MLM rate where the price is much higher than what you can get in the market.

Unicity Product Review

It is difficult for me to assess if Unicity products actually work since I haven’t used any. But Amazon provided me with some useful feedback, which I will be sharing below.

Their product, specifically Balance, has been criticized for its taste and quantity. It apparently tastes bad and is costly. There are several positive reviews outweighing negative ones, but it still needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

It’s because the product won’t suit everyone, no matter how efficient it is. What works for them may not work for you.

How To Make Money With Unicity

The program used by Unicity is an MLM platform and as such, there are two main ways to make money from it – selling the products and recruiting potential members. It is in this way that network marketing becomes a legitimate business model.

To start with, they’ve got real products or services to offer. Additionally, they try to recruit people to join the platform, but they won’t receive commissions unless the individuals they recruit turn a profit.

Basically, what I am saying is that some people don’t realize the difference between an MLM and a pyramid or Ponzi scheme, so I decided to point this out.

The difference between an MLM and a pyramid scheme is that the former has legitimate products to offer, while the latter pushes you to recruit more and more people.

You are then compensated directly for doing so. Simply put, you pay for an investment and earn money from other members or your invites, so if you don’t recruit any successful members, you won’t make money at all.

Plus, Ponzi schemes are illegal in most states and countries.

Unicity’s compensation plan explains the potential earnings and benefits of members and provides guidance on how to attain them. In Unicity, there are nine major revenue sources. They are:

  • Retail Profit
  • Personal Rebate
  • Fast Start Bonus
  • Unicity Lifestyle Bonus
  • Infinity Bonus
  • President’s Club Bonus
  • Additional Franchise Positions
  • Chairman’s Club Bonus
  • Founder’s Club

Price

You need to pay $40 for the affiliate membership and cover shipping and handling fees to join Unicity. For your business to get off the ground, you’ve got to buy Distributor packages.

Note that they charge a lot for their business packages, too. Here’s what the membership kit looks like:

  • Build Your Own $40
  • Unicity365 Packs $369 up to $495
  • Basic Pack $242 up to $421
  • Best U Packs $315 up to $369

PROS

Legit, Long-Time Operating MLM Company

Being in business for more than 10 years is a good thing. MLM companies aren’t likely to last for very long unless they are profitable and legitimate. Therefore, it might be a great option for those who are passionate about their products.

CONS

Expensive Products And Membership Fee

The cost of a protein meal replacement from Unicity is $89.99, and it is possible to find products with similar formula under various brands for a lower cost. While looking through Amazon, for example, I found that there are similar product ranging from $19.99 to $59.99

Products Are Not Unique.

In the MLM industry, the health and wellness niche is one of the most common. Therefore, there are many products available in this niche. Having said that, a distributor will find it hard to sell its products unless it has a great marketing campaign behind it.

You should also be aware that, as mentioned above, there are cheaper alternatives that can offer you the same quality or even superior.

Who Is It For?

The products are good for people who have tried them personally. Only they can effectively market it, I believe. Since there are many brands that produce similar results, I don’t see the benefit of joining a brand and selling their products unless you can guarantee its efficacy.

Training Tools/ Support

A positive aspect of Unicity’s business is that their distributors can receive training and support. The members have the opportunity to learn more about the product they are selling as well as how to effectively market it.

Is Unicity Legit?

Unicity is not scamming anyone.

It’s been around since 2001, which is pretty long for an MLM company. It’s not surprising why some still believe it’s a scam.

As with all multilevel marketing companies, Unity makes many promises to its members and distributors, like how it can help them build wealth.

People who fall for this kind of business usually do not know how tough it is and in the end, when their expectations are not met, they paint it as a scam.

It’s unfortunate that this is the case, as it’s due to the way the business has been marketed. In their programs, they focus primarily on what people can get out of them.

However, they neglect to describe the process. There’s no mention of how hard it is to sell expensive products and get people to sign up.

Final Opinion/ Verdict

It’s good to know that Unicity is not a scam. The reviews I found online indicate that many people really like their products. Even so, their membership fees and essentials are a bit expensive.

It would not be a great idea if you are a newbie looking for ways to make money online or even offline.

This is an expensive and impractical way to earn money, especially if you don’t have the right skills in network marketing to convert it into profit.

You have to invest a lot to make a good return on your investment in MLM programs.

As I mentioned before, commissions do not just come from selling products. It also comes from inviting people to join the platform.

That means you will need to send messages and make calls to strangers, which in my opinion is extremely annoying.

Are There Other Business Models? How About Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is just one of the many other business models which, in my opinion, is better than an MLM business model.

But the question you should be asking, I believe, is, “Which business model can actually generate a significant income for me?”

I will tell you in the following sections.

Can You Really Make Money With Unicity?

Yes, You can!

But…

There’s a lot that comes along with Network Marketing that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

It’s not impossible to make money with Unicity, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Unicity falls short in helping you make money online is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

Unicity knows this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business:

  • tree service
  • plumbing
  • towing
  • painting
  • landscaping etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with Unicity… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS.

Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Unicity group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Unicity, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website… they see it as it is… You helping them make more money.

Unlike Unicity, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
