What Is Trades Of Hope?

Trades of Hope is a multi-level marketing company founded by Christians to provide a business opportunity for women in impoverished countries to earn a living and improve their living conditions by becoming artisans, and for women in the United States as compassionate entrepreneurs.

When Was Trades Of Hope Founded?

Trades of Hope was founded in June 2010 in Bunnel, Florida, United States of America.

Who Are The Founders of Trades Of Hope?

Trades of Hope Review: What Is the Story Behind the Founding Of Trades Of Hope?

In June 2010, two mothers had an idea: What if we could collaborate with our daughters to create a business that would improve the lives of women all over the world?

Both women had reached a crossroads in their lives.

Holly Wehde, a pastor’s wife, had just recovered from a heart attack at the age of 40. Gretchen Huijskens was frustrated with the small impact she felt she was having through a nonprofit she co-founded in Haiti.

The two met at a homeschool co-op meeting and instantly bonded over their shared faith and commitment to service.

Soon after, Wehde attended a house party hosted by one of her friends. As she looked around at everyone having a good time eating and looking at jewelry, her thoughts returned to the women Huijskens had described to her.

She had an instant vision of how she could build a home party business that would have a long-term impact on the lives of Haitian women.

She quickly shared her vision with Huijskens, and they decided to invite Wehde’s daughter Chelsie and Huijskens’ daughter Elisabeth to join them.

Trades of Hope was launched soon after with the mission of “empowering women out of poverty through sustainable business.”

The company now has approximately 2,000 distributors known as “Compassionate Entrepreneurs” in 49 states across the United States.

Is Trades Of Hope A Non-Profit?

No, Trades of Hope is not a charity or a non-profit organization.

Trades of Hope believes that sustainable business, rather than charity, is a long-term solution for change.

They are a mission-driven company that serves as a link in the chain to create sustainable businesses for both women in developing countries and women in the United States. Women assisting other women.

Their artisans make approximately 3-6 times what they would normally make in their home country.

They pay their artisans 100% of the asking price of their products so that they can make a living.

They do not include the shipping costs and the 25% for the Partner and business expenses until after they have paid the artisans and are in the United States.

This ensures that the artisans receive the price they set for their products, which is a fair wage.

Trades of Hope Review: BBB Rating and Accreditation

Trades of Hope is not BBB accredited. However, they were still given an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.

What Fair Trade Organization is Trades Of Hope A Member of?

Companies can be certified by or become members of a number of Fair Trade organizations. They each have their own set of requirements, values, and objectives.

Trades of Hope is a member of Fair Trade Federation. This is not to be confused with the Fair Trade Certification.

The Fair Trade Federation is a membership organization rather than a certification organization.

The requirements for membership in the Fair Trade Federation do not appear to be nearly as stringent as those for Fair Trade Certification.

Is Trades Of Hope Legit? Or Is Trades Of Hope A Scam?

To those who ask “Is Trades of Hope a scam?”, It is not a scam. It is a legitimate and legal business. They sell high-quality jewelry as well as fashionable women’s clothing.

Is Trades Of Hope A Pyramid Scheme?

Trades of Hope does not operate as a pyramid scheme.

A pyramid scheme is against the law.

As a Direct Selling Association (DSA) member, Trades Of Hope supports legislative efforts to eliminate pyramid schemes in the United States.

They jeopardize the opportunities that 6 million legitimate direct sales women rely on every day. (Source: DSA)

According to Forbes, who cites the DSA,

“… a pyramid scheme is illegal, and the vast majority of their participants lose money.” A pyramid scheme relies on recruiting new representatives to profit (rather than product sales), charge reps large upfront fees, and persuade them to purchase large amounts of non-returnable inventory. In general, their products have little or no actual value.”

Whom Does Trades Of Hope Work With?

Trades of Hope collaborates with artisans from all over the world.

Some women have been rescued from the practice of sex slavery. Others are raising handicapped children on their own.

Some are in war-torn countries, while others are infected with HIV/AIDS and leprosy.

Unlike us, these women have never had any exposure to any business opportunity.

These women cherish their families and wish for a better life for them.

Trades of Hope assists by marketing their products through the home party model, allowing them to put food on the table, a roof over their heads, medical care, and education for their children.

Can You Make Money With Trades Of Hope Compensation Plan?

There are two ways to make money with Trades of Hope: as an Artisan or as a Compassionate Entrepreneur.

Along with a focus on lifting its artisans out of poverty, Trades of Hope provides its Consultants (Compassionate Entrepreneurs) with a competitive compensation plan in the direct selling industry.

These Compassionate Entrepreneurs (CEs) can earn up to 37% on their own personal retail sales, on top of what they can earn by building a team.

According to Huijskens in a DSN article dated September 2015, the company has already identified women who have replaced their full-time salaries through Trades of Hope.

But there’s a lot that comes along with MLM (Network Marketing) that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

It’s not impossible to make money with Trades of Hope, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Make Money As An Artisan

Although the process for becoming an artisan is not readily available on the website, the owner has disclosed the process for determining earnings.

She explained that as an artisan, they are asked how much money is required to meet their families’ needs, and Trades of Hope ensures that artisans are paid more than what is required to meet their needs.

Artisans are even given the opportunity to earn a significant profit from their work and Compassionate Entrepreneurs’ sales.

Trades of Hope provides the following services to artisans:

  • Raw materials for products
  • Shipping
  • Any business-related expenses to ensure artisans can profit and build long-term incomes
  • Job Skills Training

As a result, the money they earn can be used solely to support their families.

Make Money As A Compassionate Entrepreneur

As a Compassionate Entrepreneur, there are only two ways to make money:

Make Money From Product Sales

As a Trades of Hope partner, you can buy cheaper warehouse products and then market and sell them for a profit.

Make Money By Building A Team

Because recruiting is the primary goal of the majority of MLMs, you can expect to see it in every MLM you come across.

Earn a 1% to 7% commission on your downline member’s sales. The level of your downline member determines this.

How Can I Become A Member Of Trades Of Hope And How Much Does It Cost?

The official website makes it simple to sign up. Visit the website and select the appropriate start-up kit.

The larger kits offer more value and a greater variety of products. The $24 mini kit is ideal for those looking to get started on a budget or if you already have a lot of products!

As a compassionate entrepreneur, you pay $99 to join and receive materials for hosting home parties or vendor events, a 30-day custom website trial ($13.95/mo after 30 days), and products from around the world.

Can I Sell Online? Or Do I Have To Do In-Person Events Or Home Parties?

You can fully run your entire business online, as some partners do.

You can sell using Facebook parties, Instagram, blogging, Pinterest, email marketing, and YouTube, among other methods.

Some people even use TikTok!

Trades of Hope provides a comprehensive back office as well as a personal replicated site.

When you sign up for this site, you will be given the option of creating your own URL. When you direct customers to this URL, any purchases they make will be credited to you.

Can I Advertise Online?

Yes. Trades of Hope provides personalized replicated websites that are easily linked to social media. Other websites are not permitted.

Can I Sell On eBay, PoshMark, Etsy, Or Similar Sites?

No, Trades of Hope does not permit their products to be sold on eBay, PoshMark, Etsy, or other similar websites.

Can I Sell At Fairs And Events?

Yes, Partners are permitted to sell their wares at local events and expos.

You have the option of purchasing inventory to resell at the event or taking orders to be shipped directly to your customer.

According to their policy, Trades of Hope can only allow one Partner per event unless they are doing it together. The first person to register and pay for the event has a chance to sell there.

What Are The Requirements For Being An Active Member Partner With Trades Of Hope? Is There A Monthly Cost For A Member?

To be a Partner, you must actively sell Trades of Hope products and have a minimum of one commissionable order of any value within the previous 12 months.

If you have no commissionable sales for 12 months in a row as a Partner, you will be deactivated.

If you choose to enter the career track and collect your success line, you must meet a $300 monthly personal retail volume sales (PRV) requirement. This is to ensure that you can train your team in personal sales and are not solely focused on sponsoring.

If you do not produce a minimum of $300 PRV for at least one month in a six-month period, your success line will roll up in accordance with our Roll-Up Policy. This compression has no effect on your personal account.

Trades Of Hope Review: My Recommendation

One thing that stands out about Trades of Hope is that you can’t see the compensation plan online unless you join.

This is not encouraging. It is critical to be able to evaluate the plan in order to estimate costs, expenses, and revenues and determine whether the business opportunity is right for you.

According to the compensation plans, we did find in other sites, in order to advance in Trades of Hope, you must recruit others to sell the products. Those recruits must also purchase starter packs and meet personal volume requirements.

It is possible to make money from selling Trades of Hope. However, replacing career-level income is extremely difficult and unlikely.

To comply with FTC regulations, Trades of Hope should share how likely it is that you could earn a “full-time income” if someone tells you that you can.

Recruiting tactics such as talking about free vacations and quitting your job are a scam. Request real data to back up the CE’s claim (or that of someone ‘sharing’ the opportunity with you).

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Trades of Hope falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this!

Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember with Trades of Hope… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Trades of Hope MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Trades of Hope, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike Trades of Hope, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
