Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Reliv MLM Review: Is Reliv International A Legit MLM Company Or A Scam?

Scam or Legit

Reliv International is definitely a legitimate MLM. Here’s why:

  • It has been a proud member of the Direct Selling Association for a long time.
  • View the Code of Ethics that members must abide by, for more information.
  • On the Better Business Bureau's rating scale, the company received an "A" rating.
  • Forbes, Fortune, and BusinessWeek have all featured Reliv International as a top small business.
  • The manufacturing process complies with the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration.

Reliv MLM Review: Is Reliv International A Pyramid Scheme?

Some MLM companies are outright pyramid schemes, while others only have pyramid scheme elements. Reliv International belongs to the second category.

Try to take a look at the image below:

Is Reliv International A Pyramid Scheme

This is why Reliv International has elements of a pyramid scheme. When recruitment is the only way to make money with a company, it's a pyramid scheme.

MLMs and Reliv International both rely heavily on recruitment.

Distributors get a commission on every sale their recruits make, which is why recruitment is so popular.

If the member's recruit enlists others, the member will be paid commissions on their sales, and so on.

This type of system only rewards those at the very top of the pyramid, and commissions are constantly flowing upwards.

When the member is at the bottom, it's nearly impossible to succeed.

But because a member can sell the products himself and earn a commission on each sale, this company isn't an outright pyramid scheme.

However, anyone from a network marketing company will say that real profit is in building a downline.

Reliv MLM Review: Can You Really Make Money?

Yes, You can!

But...

There's a lot that comes along with Network Marketing that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out these Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.

Now, don't get the wrong idea...

It's not impossible to make money with MLMs, but if you're gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn't easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you're learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket many online businesses to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Now, the Reliv International compensation plan offers five different ways to earn money.

  • First: When one shares Reliv with customers, the distributor earns an immediate profit known as retail profit, ranging from 10% to 40%.
  • Second: When Distributors sponsor other Distributors and earn the difference between that Distributor's profit level and their own, they can earn wholesale profit.
  • Third: As a Distributor's organization grows and more overrides are created, they earn percentages from the overrides created by the organization.
  • Fourth: The company rewards business performance with incentive travel and monthly cash bonuses.

Distributors are paid to help others grow their Reliv businesses at the Ambassador level.

Reliv International Compensation Plan Review

There are only two things a member should be aware of when it comes to the Reliv International compensation plan:

Retail Commissions

This is the point at which one actually sells something to a customer.

When a person purchases products from Reliv International, he will receive a 20% to 40% discount.

He can then resell the items at full retail price and profit.

Downline Commissions

It may have been told that the majority of one's income from MLM companies will come from his downline. This is true in the case of Reliv International.

This is, however, what makes MLM businesses so sketchy.

Remember that a pyramid scheme is a business model in which one's income is based on the number of people he recruits.

Building a downline is just that.

If one wants to work with Reliv International, he will need to know how to recruit people to sell for himself.

How Much Money Does A Reliv Distributor Make?

Earnings will differ from one to another.

Some people use Reliv International as a way to supplement their income, earning enough money to pay for things like a car or a mortgage, for example.

Others work full-time at their Reliv company as their primary source of income.

Each person's earnings will vary, as they will in any business.

What Are The Steps To Joining Reliv International?

There are 2 ways to join the company:

Join As A Customer

Retail Customer

People who are occasional buyers of Reliv products can enjoy the convenience of having them shipped directly to their houses.

Preferred Customer

A customer will get a 15% discount when he signs up as a Preferred Customer.

Following this initial purchase, all subsequent orders will receive a 10% discount, subject to yearly renewal.

Join As A Distributor

One can get a 20-40% discount/profit level on products upon joining as a Distributor.

To get started, the fee to pay is $20.

What Is The Difference Between A Preferred Customer And A Distributor?

Both receive a 10% discount off the Suggested Retail Price when they order products.

Simply put, a Preferred Customer is just that - a customer.

They use Reliv products on a monthly basis and have registered with the company.

They pay a $10 annual registration fee and complete a registration that requires only simple contact information.

They get a 10% discount on products they use when they become a Preferred Customer.

They may receive information about the products, science, and wellness on a regular basis.

They don't "accumulate" volume points, and anyone they talk to about Reliv International is directed to their Distributor.

A Distributor, on the other hand, is also a consumer of Reliv products, and they buy products at a 10% discount off the Suggested Retail Price.

They get a Distributor Kit that includes everything they need to get their business up and running, as well as a quarterly magazine and support.

The cost of their kit is included in their $40 enrollment fee.

A Distributor can buy Reliv products and then sell them to others, making a 10% profit.

One other benefit for the Distributor makes a significant long-term difference.

They accumulate volume over their lifetime.

This volume includes any products they order as well as any products their customers and Distributors order.

They will advance to the Affiliate level once the total product ordered reaches $750 and they have at least ONE customer or Distributor registered with the company who has also placed an order with Reliv International.

The Affiliate level allows you to earn money in a whole new way: wholesale profit!

One can get a 25% discount on Reliv products when he becomes an Affiliate.

He will get a quarter-percentage point for every dollar spent by retail customers.

On items ordered by Preferred Customers, the member will also make a 15% profit.

In addition, any products moving through any Distributors in one's group will earn him a 15% Wholesale Profit.

This equates to a 15% profit on products they buy and a 15% profit on products their customers buy.

Reliv MLM Reviews: How Much Does It Cost To Join The Reliv International MLM Company?

To get started, one needs to spend between $100 and $1000. Here's how it works:

Sign-up Cost:

MLMs charge a fee to become a distributor so you don't just try to buy at a discount. This is usually a small fee, less than $100.

Starter Packs:

This is where the majority of the startup costs are incurred.

To make money, one needs products, which he must purchase from Reliv International.

The product packs typically range in price from $100 to $1500.

Always opt for the less expensive pack before purchasing the more expensive one.

Reliv International Employee Reviews

According to research, happy employees are more productive.

A team from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford has found proof of what many people have long suspected: happier people do better work.

Do you realize that happy employees also equal happy customers?

Your business will fail no matter how good your product or how brilliant your idea is if no one wants to buy it.

According to a study conducted by a pharmaceutical company, customer loyalty increased when employees were happy and engaged.

Consider how you would feel if you had to meet with someone who is unhappy and dislikes their job.

The meeting becomes tedious and unpleasant as a result of this attitude.

You may find yourself looking forward to the meeting if the salesperson or account manager is genuinely cheerful and pleasant.

You'll find that customers who want to work with your company are more likely to buy your products.

Now take a look at the Reliv International Employee Reviews on Indeed.com to see how happy their employees are.

Reliv International Review: Pros and Cons

Pros:

Reliv International Review Pros and Cons

Reliv has been in existence for 30 years.

MLMs come and go in droves, with hundreds launching each year and hundreds disappearing. The company has been in business for 30 years, which is a good sign that it won't suddenly disappear and leave you high and dry.

They have good products that have health benefits for the body.

Reliv's products have a lot of positive feedback, and could be just as good as what you'd find in the store.

It also has a more than average commission.

When you buy from Reliv, you also get a substantial discount, and when you sell Reliv's products, you can earn anywhere from 20% to 40%.

Cons:

Reliv International Review cons

Reliv has a low success rate.

Reliv distributors make around $100 per year on average, which is a low success rate. $100  is not worth the effort, and only about 3% of those who work in Reliv make an average American salary.

The Health and Wellness market is crowded.

MLM and non-MLM health companies can be found almost anywhere. People will have their favorite brands and it will be difficult to persuade them to switch.

Expensive Products.

Again, health and wellness is a crowded market, and convincing people to buy your high-priced health products when there are less expensive alternatives will be difficult.

Self-promotion.

One disadvantage of an MLM is that self-promotion and spam selling on the internet will be a usual way to sell and share the product. It's embarrassing to say the least.

History of lawsuits.

Reliv has faced lawsuits in the past alleging that their products contain more lead than the legal limit allows.

Reliv International MLM Review: Final Thoughts

Reliv International is not a scam.

There's a distinction to be made between a scam and a bad business opportunity, and Reliv International likely falls into the second category.

The success rate is low and making any real money will be difficult, but at the end of the day, it's up to you.

There are far better ways to make money than to do the Reliv International business. But if you are an avid user of their products and just after a passive income, then there is something to gain in this business opportunity for you. Just do not quit your day job.

What Is Our #1 Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Reliv International falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline...you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember Reliv International? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota...

The program we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Reliv MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Reliv International, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

TESTIMONIAL - Scott Lead Gen

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Reliv International, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
