Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR - What’s The Verdict On Rank Daddy

Rankdaddy Review

Alright, let's cut to the chase for those who are thinking, "Should I drop cash on the Rank Daddy training?"

Well, the short answer is NO. I don't recommend Rank Daddy.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Brandon Olsen was running a scam when he created Rank Daddy. Or you can't make money with his "Trust Based Ranking" model.

Sure, offering SEO services to local businesses has its perks, but this isn't exactly the top-notch lead generation business model.

Remember, Brandon's strategy is solid, but the downside is you won't own the digital assets, making your financial ground a bit shaky.

It's like attempting to build a skyscraper with a toolbox filled with just a hammer. You've got potential, but you're missing the essential gear for the big job.

But, here's the real talk. If you're dead set on mastering SEO, snagging a few clients, and cruising into the sunset with an "okay" business, Rank Daddy can get you there.

Personally though, I'd drop my bucks on learning a more comprehensive skill set. Why?

When you bring more value to your clients, that means you can charge them higher.

If you want to know about the program that I'm partnered with, you can check it out here.

Now, let's dive into who's in the sweet spot for Rank Daddy courses and who should probably give it a pass.

Who Benefits From Rank Daddy And Who Should Stay Away From Brandon Olsen?

Rank Daddy Reviews

This article is based on a lot of opinions. These are all from my own experiences running a local business and being part of programs with exclusive Facebook groups.

Now, the whole point of this Rank Daddy review is to be your guide in the decision-making arena.

If you identify with any of the following, this program might be for you:

  • You are already skilled in online marketing and considering adding another skill to your tool-belt.
  • If you've got those high-ticket clients in your back pocket and you're not really in the mood to dive into a sea of new skills.

That said, you might consider staying away from the program if:

  • If you have high expectations. As this Redditor said, "Some of the students are really sad. He promises the moon and no one is making any money except maybe him."
  • Your goal is to have the full suite of skills to bring top-tier value to your clients without outsourcing a ton of work.
  • You want the best mentorship available. This course feels more like a bargain buy for digital marketing skills rather than snagging the elite, cream-of-the-crop courses in lead generation and digital marketing.

Brandon Olsen Review: 1,000 FT View Of Rank Daddy Program

Business Model

Brandon Olson teaches you how to kickstart and grow a local SEO agency with his "Trust Based Ranking" model. It's all about boosting your client's website on Google by adding valuable info.

Sounds good, right? But, here's the catch – you won't own your digital assets, adding a bit of financial uncertainty.

Now, let's talk about Brandon's mentor, Dan Klein. In 2014, Dan, an SEO expert, taught Brandon the secrets of the local lead generation business.

Think generating free organic traffic for local small businesses. Dan's a big deal with a net worth over $30 million. He's responsible for having coached 7,000+ students in the program, all building their digital empires.

In my opinion, Dan's local lead generation model with free traffic is better than an SEO agency, even if Dan's relaxing a bit more these days and not coaching as much as he once did.

About The Guru - Brandon Olson Review

Brandon Olsen Review

Brandon Olson is an online entrepreneur hailing from New Braunfels, Texas. This guy's been a a coach for more than 2,500 individuals, helping them kickstart and grow their SEO agencies.

Now, rewind to 2010 – that's when Brandon hit his first million dollars with a dropshipping site. The deal was good, but then competition increased. They had to spend a lot on Google ads to stay in the game. Game over for that venture.

But Brandon didn't just sit around. He dove into the world of online courses, dropping tens of thousands of dollars. Dan Klein and Brad Campbell came up with a course called the Job Killing coaching program. Brandon joined in December 2014. Brad Campbell, by the way, is the guy who helped Dan behind the scenes. This program was the spark that set Brandon on the SEO agency journey he's cruising on today.

Let's skip ahead to January 2, 2015. That's when Brandon got the first Google My Business verification code. And you bet he reached out to Dan Klein for a helping hand when an account suspension threw a wrench into the works.

He raked in a whopping $383,921.26, all in under two years of soaking up in lead generation.

Why Did Brandon Olson Quit Dan's Job Killing?

Brandon Olson decided to bid farewell to Job Killing. He said the business model there was difficult and also expensive because of upfront costs. Now, he went ahead and broke the rules in the group. Selling services within the private JK group? Not allowed. Did he do it anyway? You bet.

Since he broke the rules, Brandon was kicked out. But, being the entrepreneur he is, that didn't slow him down.

Instead, he kicked off the Rank Daddy SEO Academy coaching program. The focus? Teaching people the ropes of doing SEO for local businesses, instead of just generating leads for them.

Why the switch? Brandon was all about that upfront money you get with SEO, not keen on waiting weeks or months for your site to climb the ranking ladder like you do in local lead generation. It's all about that fast-track cash flow, baby!

How Much Does Rank Daddy Cost?

To dive into the Rank Daddy Elite program, you'll need to whip out $1,947.

They also offer an SEO Agency Mini-Course. You can try it for free!

Personal Opinion

Let's wrap up this Rank Daddy review with a dash of personal opinion, straight from my own experiences in the online marketing realm, and yes, I've laid eyes on Rank Daddy.

When you're looking for an online course like Rank Daddy, there are things to keep in mind.

First off, when you start scouring the web for reviews, remember that most are coming from people who've had a negative experience. It is very seldom that you see highly successful students writing reviews on online forums.

Now, even more crucial than the training content itself is the mindset you bring into the program. If you're expecting Rank Daddy to be your personal money raincloud, think again.

So, how do I size up a program like Rank Daddy? Here's my checklist:

  1. Guru's Real-World Street Cred: What's the guru's real-world experience? Are they legit or just spewing theory?
  2. Coaching and Community: Does the program offer coaching, like a private Facebook group? Community support can make or break your journey.
  3. Course Material Value: What's the meat of the course like? Is it practical, applicable, or just a bunch of fluff?
  4. Update Frequency: How often does the course material get a facelift? In the fast-paced online world, stale info won't cut it.

My Recommendation On Rank Daddy

Rank Daddy Reviews

Having said my personal yardstick for sizing up a program like Rank Daddy, let's apply it to Rank Daddy itself.

Let's start with the positives:

If you work hard, overcome obstacles, and join the Facebook group, you will succeed in the program, even if it takes time to see results.

Now, running an SEO agency isn't exactly solving quantum physics equations. If Rank Daddy gave out free passes, I would gladly encourage you to try it, especially if you're new to SEO.

And now here are my top three reasons why I do not give a glowing recommendation to Rank Daddy:

  1. Some students aren't seeing the kind of results they hoped for.
  2. The whole deal about not owning your digital assets adds a layer of financial insecurity.
  3. The investment might feel a bit steep for what's offered. This Redditor said that the guys at Rank Daddy are just outsourcing their services. So, in effect, you're just the salesman.

No, I don't recommend buying Rank Daddy.

Rank Daddy appears to be positioned in the middle of the pack among many digital courses.

Yes, it has benefits, but after considering the cost, other programs may offer more skills and less risk.

There are other programs that might give you more bang for your buck and a broader toolkit for your digital journey.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

I have spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: With Rank Daddy, they will teach you to outsource SEO services to free yourself from those tasks. You know why? Because you will spend all your time for getting clients. You will work hard to get leads, write proposals, schedule calls, etc.

That is far from chill. That's why I prefer digital leasing.

Got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Rank Daddy, you don't own any digital assets. it's like building a sandcastle but not being allowed to keep it.

Unlike other lead generation models, Digital Leasing gives you full ownership over every single asset, which means you have all the power and all the control.

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

4) Easy To Duplicate: With Rank Daddy's system, your income depends on how many clients you have. If you want to increase your income, you have to get more clients. It's impossible to do it on your own. That's why they encourage you to hire freelancers.

This is not the case with digital leasing.

Once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

Now, the choice is yours.

You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Rank Daddy which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
