Pampered Chef MLM Review (2024): Is This The Right Business For You?

By: JosiahDec 08, 2023Network Marketing
Pampered Chef MLM Review ([year]): Is This The Right Business For You?

It’s another one of those making money online programs that is centered around selling a clapped out membership that supposedly makes you money by selling other people’s shit.

It is promoted by damn near every high level course member who only gets paid through their affiliate links to the course. Yep, you read that right…

Sellouts, it’s promoted by sellouts.

It’s supposed to show you how to become a “6 figure network marketer” but most members don’t make money promoting other products.

That’s just the truth...you won’t get rich off a shitty $6 commission

If you want to really get rich online, (at an average of $1,500 per sale PER MONTH), check out our #1 recommendation here.

And while we have to be honest for this review…

Pampered Chef does come with some very helpful information to make money online and land some massive commission checks…

But it’s outdated AF!

At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Pampered Chef and cheap affiliate marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off network marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

But more on that later.

For now let’s hop into all things Pampered Chef!

But, we want to be completely honest in this review, so...

DISCLAIMER:

This Pampered Chef review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

What Is Pampered Chef?

pampered chef

Pampered Chef is an mlm (multi level marketing) company founded by Doris Christopher. It began taking the markets by storm in 90's and has continued to grow to this day.

It's not all that shocking that it has been financially successful either...Doris Christopher has a professional background in economics and money.

The company focuses on selling kitchen products directly through friends and families at their network marketing get togethers coined "pampered chef parties" or in text language "pc party".

Some of these products are neat, other products are mediocre, and some products you can find for cheap at wal-mart on the clearance rack.

How Does Pampered Chef Work?

sell pampered chef

Pampered Chef makes a lot of it's money through its consultants selling their kitchen products directly to their friends and families. It also makes the occasional dollar off guest spots on TV shows.

During a Pampered Chef party or TV appearance, their plan is to demonstrate the pampered chef products usefulness in every day life. Some products are life changing...other products not really.

It is cool to see how a product works though when there is a team of people on TV cooking and demonstrating the product and its functionality.

At these events you will likely be given some form of a Pampered Chef Catalog where you can buy some of these products.

Another way Pampered Chef consultants make money is by starting up an affiliate styled website where they get commissions based of the sales. People have had success with amazon as well.

Lastly...and this is where the multi level marketing comes into play...consultants can recruit new consultants to work under them and help them earn even more based of the sales they make.

Honestly, that part isn't fun and it's one of the reasons why the mlm company gets such a bad wrap.

Pampered Chef Products

One thing we can say positively about the Pampered Chef mlm is that they offer a wide range of products!

We're talking kitchen products, tools, food products, Pampered Chef cookbooks, and more!

One of the types of products that Pampered Chef focuses on is multi-use utensils. They appeal to someones desire for an all in one kitchen tool.

They stand behind all their products as well offering a full 1 year warranty on all of them!

Some of the most popular products Pampered Chef offers are as follows:

Stoneware Bakeware

  • Teak Wooden Spoon
  • Cut-N-Seal Maker Tart
  • Pizza and Crust Cutter
  • Mini Tart Shaper
  • beer bread mix
  • gardening tools
  • kitchen tools
  • food products

Even though the menu Pampered Chef offers for their products is certainly thorough...it's exhaustive. On top of that some of the prices for these kitchen products are just unreasonable in our opinion.

However every single catalog / menu Pampered Chef offers for their products contains as much information as you need to know to make a well informed purchase.

How To Join Pampered Chef

If you want to become a team member and join Pampered Chef, you're in luck because they make it super easy! All you need to do is simply go to their website, fill in your information, and wait for a sponsor or person who told you about it to reach out to you.

To complete your registration as a Pampered Chef consultant, you will need to sign a consultant agreement form and buy a Pampered Chef consultant kit.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Pampered Chef?

Some of the different Pampered Chef consultant kits are listed below:

Starter kit: This kit costs $99 and comes with over $400 worth of products. The starter kit is great for those who want to test the product line for themselves.

Deluxe kit: This kit costs $159 and comes with $700 worth of products. The deluxe kit is great for those who want to make money faster than those with the starter kit since you can sell more products.

Ultimate kit: This kit costs $259 and comes with $1000 worth of products. The ultimate kit is great for those who go at a business opportunity with 100% effort all the time.

These kits are business tools that should help you make more money by giving you access to product.

pampered chef is a pyramid scheme

Is Pampered Chef Overpriced?

In our opinion it is difficult to see how a multitude of products purchased for just $259 can be flipped upwards of $1000.

For that reason alone it is hard to see how a regular person would be able to make money with Pampered Chef on a regular basis without some high level sales training.

Although we may think the products themselves are overpriced, the price to enter the berkshire hathaway company affiliate team is reasonable in our opinion.

After all, you can't just expect to not pay anything for the products they give you to sell.

How Much Does A Pampered Chef Consultant Make?

Pampered Chef pays it consultants based on different sales levels. Below is a complete breakdown of their compensation plan, please review it:

  • 20% commission rate for $1 to $749 monthly sales.
  • 22% commission rate for $750 to $1249 monthly sales.
  • 23% commission rate for $1250 to $2449 monthly sales.
  • 24% commission rate for $2500 to $3999 monthly sales.
  • 25% commission rate for over $4000 monthly sales.

When it comes to any other network marketing mlm company, Pampered Chef offers a pretty solid compensation plan that will hold its own compared to a compensation plan from any other network marketing company.

But it is HARD AS HELL to make money.

No one wants to buy that overpriced low quality crap anymore.

NEWSFLASH: It isn't 2005 anymore! Amazon exists and stores have better cheaper products.

If money is what you're really after, you owe it to yourself to check out our #1 Recommendation!

Is The Pampered Chef MLM A Pyramid Scheme

By definition, no, Pampered Chef is not a pyramid scheme. There are real products that bought and sold by friends and family.

If you treat Pampered Chef company like a real business opportunity, then you can make money legally without worrying about getting caught up in a pyramid scheme.

Now more than ever companies that are under the mlm classification have to follow strict guidelines that clearly prove their business is not a pyramid scheme.

A business that is found to be a pyramid scheme will often face large legal problems that nobody should ever want to deal with.

Even though your friend may think that the Pampered Chef mlm is a pyramid scheme, your friend would be wrong because everyone at every level of the company can make money whereas with a true pyramid scheme, only those at the top make money while the rest lose it.

Pyramid schemes suck and if we could say that Pampered Chef is pyramid scheme, then over here at Scam Risk we wouldn't think twice about it.

Why Pampered Chef Looks Like A Scam

When most people get started with Pampered Chef company, they mainly get started so they can receive cookware and a multitude of other product at a lower amount of money than a regular customer.

When this happens and you talk to another person who's also a "Pampered Chef Distributor" about it, you'll both find that you probably haven't made a lot of money. Usually because of both of you lacking sales skills.

The Pampered Chef compensation plan may look enticing, but you only get the most out of the Pampered Chef compensation plan if you have a good sales process.

Just like any other mlm and network marketing company most of the people will be left with only family members and friends to sell to. If anything you might get enough sales to break even.

Although the business model and company can look like a scam, it's just as simple people not understanding everything about the business model and how to make it popular.

There are some very higher earners among consultants and they will tell you from personal experience that it is not a scam and anyone can make money from the company if you have a good sales process and can communicate well with people.

Lastly, the commission rate is about on par with all the other network marketing programs, this helps with legitimacy of the company.

At this point, you probably realize that the amount of effort, coupled with the monetary return, is never going to be worth it.

Why People Aren't Fans Of Pampered Chef

No different from any other mlm company, the training you will receive will be in essence a sales pitch that you are supposed to go to friends and family members with.

No one is a fan of company business models that require you to push a product down the throat of your family, community, and old lady down the street.

In fact, if you were to look at Pampered Chef mlm review online from actual consultants, you'll find a lot who can't make a full time income out of it and are unhappy.

If a company consultant who buys a consultant kit, and is arguably the first true customer, is unhappy, what do you think will be the opinion of most people about the company?

Sure throwing an occasional part is nice...but not all the time. Parties can actually become quite expensive if no one buys.

You can have the coolest kitchen gadgets, but at the end of the day, you can't just give away kitchen tools for free to anyone who stops by the parties.

Unfortunately, Pampered Chef has a lot of complaints for them listed in the Better Business Bureau even thought they have an A+ rating.

Another reason why people don't like this type of business model and company is because of how much these products show up on amazon for much cheaper! Why would someone go to a Pampered Chef party when they can just click a social media ad that takes them to amazon and offers the pizza stone at the consultant rate?

Anyone would have to be crazy to spend more money at a party on products they could get for super cheap on amazon.

This concludes our Pampered Chef mlm review...

What Is Our #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Multi Level Marketing falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

But as it is with Pampered Chef… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Pampered Chefgroup in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike MLMs, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

LG-proof-Josh-King-1.png.webp

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Pampered Chef, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
