Let’s talk about Matt Lloyd
When Australian entrepreneur Matt Lloyd began as an online marketer in 2008, he didn’t have enough knowledge regarding the internet, let alone managing an online business. It took him a couple of years to get the business up and going and to really earn some profit and live a wealthy lifestyle.
As he put his online business together he saw something missing in the marketplace. He realized that there were not enough reliable training products to educate and instruct people on how to establish one’s online business the proper way. Thus, the MOBE program and course came to be.
My Online Business Empire Review: The Pros And Cons
The upside and downside of joining My Online Business Empire will all depend on your answers to these questions:
- Do you want to make money online?
- Do you like learning new things and start their implementation?
- Do you want to own your time?
As you try to figure out the answers, you will get an idea about how the My Online Business Empire program works —also why it can’t be that easy. After all, there is no such thing as a get-rich-quick scheme.
If chance upon one, be wary of it!
My Online Business Empire is meant for people who desire to know more about Internet marketing and the internet business, including affiliate marketing and email marketing. Even though a large number of people who have joined MOBE have made most of their money selling off the program, you have the option to use the training information there to sell your own products online on your websites.
The downside is most of the products are costly and are high priced. But the upside is when you purchase the resale license you have the potential to make some possibly hefty commissions most especially if you are well-connected in the marketplace.
Once you join MOBE you will get capture pages from the web host as well as its official sales to funnel where you can send potential customers or prospects to sell the program.
Aside from having a business opportunity by joining MOBE in its affiliate program, you will be a part of a community of entrepreneurs and empower networks. This group can make your journey to success more fun. There’s a strong community support. On the other hand, it entails a lot of work and time in front of your PC to establish a successful and highly profitable online business. But if you have a community to link with, the experience gets better.
This brings us to the next question —
Does Matt Lloyd Offer Support?
Now, here’s where the problem lies and perhaps the biggest downside to MOBE. Several MOBE reviews seem to indicate that something just isn’t right.
They compared MOBE to other MLM companies with MLM schemes and other pyramid schemes.
Some MOBE reviews have directly called Matt out as the biggest scammer there is. Those are heavy accusations. And they’re not something without a solid backing.
FTC's Judgment on MOBE
The Federal Trade Commission or the FTC has officially and authoritatively judged MOBE a scam. The FTC has received over a thousand complaints, which led them to go about an undercover investigation. And on June 4, 2018, the FTC filed a civil lawsuit against MOBE and its people and other entities.
The FTC alleges that MOBE
“falsely claim that their business the education program will enable people to start their online business and earn a substantial income. They claim to have a “proven” 21-step system for making substantial sums of money quickly and easily from internet marketing, which they promise to provide to those who join their program.
“The FTC also alleges that the defendants offer refund and money-back guarantees to further mislead people to believe the program is risk-free, but they often refuse to honor refund request, or they provide refunds only after buyers make persistent demands or threaten to complain to the Better Business Bureau or law enforcement agencies.”
Is My Online Business Empire a Scam?
Some MOBE reviews say — it’s a scam.
One MOBE review categorically said NO. My Online Business Education is neither a scam nor a fraud. It has paid out oodles of millions of dollars in commission to affiliates who have succeeded in their online business. MOBE’s CEO is not hiding from anyone in terms of what MOBE creates and sells to its network. Some members stand by Matt and do not consider him a bad guy.
You can certainly make money with MOBE, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become an Affiliate Marketer (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.
But there’s a lot that comes along with affiliate marketing that many people struggle with. In fact, check out our top 5 reasons why affiliate marketers fail.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month teaches some of the same skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.
Despite the FTC ruling, others believe it’s not a scam. They believe the company stands by its catchy name – it helps people build their online business empire. Perhaps they say the program and services may not work for everyone. It takes a great deal of work and tough grind and a lot of time to be able to set up successful sales portals and businesses online.
Furthermore, they believe that although one will have access to company capture pages and can use their sales funnels, one may have to work more and try to get a tad more creative in order to stand out from the other affiliates who are doing the exact same thing. It’s not an easy business opportunity really. But according to them, it doesn’t make it a scam. Regardless of what the FTI says.
There are a ton of individual testimonials that are presented out there — from successful business persons who have applied the MOBE content to make highly lucrative and profitable online businesses. They based all their endeavors on the MOBE system. They say in a society of too much negativism, negative information spreads like wildfire through Social Media. But sometimes you do get to find some praiseworthy comments regarding My Online Business Empire.
However, for all those who filed a complaint against MOBE, some reviews say that contrary to what their name says — one cannot build an empire through MOBE. They alleged that MOBE is a pyramid scheme — you are simply asking people to sign up and recruit them. MOBE reviews mention that all you’re actually doing with MOBE is introducing MOBE to others so they can sell MOBE to others.
Does it give you a feeling that something is fishy?
Are you really paying just 49USD?
Furthermore, MOBE claims that you only need $49 USD to be able to sell MOBE products to others. But the truth is there’s more to it. If you keep looking, you will discover that there’s really more than just that. It does sound like your regular pyramid scheme. And MOBE reviews say, the reason for that is because it is a pyramid scheme.
When you join the training, you are simply being taught to buy more products, entice other people to sell. Essentially, it’s a bit of a fraud. It has nothing to do with helping people. It’s all about taking money from customers and building his own empire from people’s money. It has all the ingredients of a scam. One caustic review said so.
Do you like to see how other online business owners create successful businesses and create more wealth for themselves?
But at this point, I’m sure you realize there are much better programs out there that can help you make A LOT more money.
According to a My Online Business Empire review, the entity purports itself to be an MLM. It is not because, with network marketing, there is a physical product. Having a product means that MLM is not a pyramid. The customers can succeed. But My Online Business Empire was totally different.
There was no product. They say — they sell the education. The whole business model was about reselling the same education and program and Matt had a cut out of everything. As they say, it’s a pyramid scheme to the highest degree.
The anatomy of Matt Lloyd's success
Some say it shouldn’t be called a success. He earned his millions through a scheme. They employed a deceptive form of business model. They have failed the MOBE community. There is no recovery action for the complainants and the victims. From all angles, it should not be called a success.
The Australians are not proud of him. The FTC or perhaps even the FBI is now searching for him. Many people have been mesmerized by the glitzy promises MOBE gives. Over thousands of people got sucked into the scheme and a great deal of them made no money at all.
For the thousands of members that were involved in its program – you should know this, it is not a sustainable business model and it is not fundamentally sound. If you examine it closely, MOBE promised a quick buck and fast riches. Red flag! They take advantage of people who are desperate at making money online.
They encouraged the clients to buy their high-priced programs to advance their businesses. They promoted their so-called “secrets.” What secrets? They were basically false promotions. They want you to keep upgrading your businesses and thereby asking for more money from you.
The infrastructure cost is low and the margins for ROI is 100%. Fishy. Their advertising on social media is very minimal.
Is the company hiding something?
There was a pretty strong cultish frame of mind among some of the members. They claimed that it was avant-garde training but in fact, it was just useless recycled material. One review pointed out, because an Australian pitched it and people trust them and believed in its program.
That’s a form of betrayal.
Conclusion and Take Home
MOBE claims legitimacy and yet many people were duped. Unfortunately, there is no refund. If you have been a victim of MOBE and seeking for refund, this will take a little more time.
Be wary of gurus out there. If they’re trying to sell you something, be leery. Do your own research. Find out if their company is legit. Check out their program. Look for stories of successful people who will validate their business model.
And when you think it’s clear.
Then go for it.
What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where MOBE falls short is in scalability.
You can’t realistically expect to be able to set up a bunch of different Affiliate Marketing blogs and get NATIONAL traffic to them.
It just takes too many resources (money included) for any regular person to bootstrap.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend tens of thousands to set up an affiliate blog?
With this digital real estate program, you can profit off LOCAL traffic to your website every single day!
Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now?
That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about spending boatloads of money on a single traffic source to get CRUMBS in affiliate income.
Remember MOBE talking about their little 10% commission off a $50 product?
This one actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the MOBE group in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike MOBE, where you’re getting maybe $5 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike MOBE, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
