If you are being invited to join the LifeVantage business opportunity but are not sure whether it is a pyramid scheme scam to avoid, this review is just right for you.
The reason that the majority of MLM distributors fail is that they enter the business blindly.
This LifeVantage review will reveal to you the benefits and drawbacks of working with the company.
That way, you’ll be able to decide whether it’s the right business opportunity for you or not.
So, we’re going to review LifeVantage to see if it really is the best MLM company out there.
We’ll talk about whether Network Marketing (MLM) is the right business model for you.
And at the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding LifeVantage and MLM in general.
But most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.
This system made me swear off MLM for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!
LifeVantage Corporation is a science-based multi-level marketing (MLM) company dedicated to innovative science that seeks to revolutionize health, wellness, and anti-aging on the internal and external cellular levels while creating a business opportunity for its distributors.
The LifeVantage company is the creator of Protandim®, the Nrf2 Synergizer® patented dietary supplement, the TrueScienceTM Anti Aging Skin Care Regimen, Canine Health, and the AXIOTM energy product line.
LifeVantage was founded in 2003 by Darren Jenson and is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
LifeVantage was founded on the ProTandim dietary supplement, which is a blend of botanical ingredients that includes ashwagandha.
The company now offers a more comprehensive product line, including PhysIQ-branded sports nutrition and weight-management products, as well as a line of beauty topical products.
The 5 categories of LifeVantage products are:
On July 21, 2015, Justin Rose was appointed as the Chief Sales Officer for LifeVantage as has remained in that position since.
Mr. Rose has a long and successful career in the direct selling industry, having worked in senior sales and marketing roles for companies such as Nu Skin Enterprises, USANA Health Sciences, Melaleuca Inc., and Aveda for the past 26 years.
Prior to joining LifeVantage Corporation, Justin Rose worked as Shaklee Corporation’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Development, where he was in charge of regional sales development, sales incentives, distributor events and recognition, call center operations, and field training and support for North America.
According to the McCord Newsletter, In 2018, LifeVantage company was the subject of a class-action lawsuit regarding an allegedly illegal pyramid scheme.
The lawsuit also named Justin Rose, as Chief Sales Officer, and other executives:
Despite the fact that all but one of the claims were dismissed due to a lack of evidence, the case is still ongoing.
In 2011, the company announced that the Banned Substances Control Group (BSCG) had certified its flagship product, Protandim, as being free of substances prohibited by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and other professional and amateur sports associations.
Protandim, a patented dietary supplement made up of five highly synergistic herbal ingredients, has previously been shown in studies to activate the transcription factor Nrf2, which sends a signal to the cell’s DNA to regulate a network of protective genes.

The company achieved 4.5 stars out of 5 ratings based on the reviews of 274 customers.

Five stars is the highest rating a customer can give.
Yes, LifeVantage is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company.
LifeVantage Corporation chose to distribute Protandim through multi-level marketing for a variety of reasons, including the compelling fact that product sales through network marketing have grown into a multi-billion dollar industry.
After extensive research, LifeVantage determined that this business model is an excellent way to sell Protandim because Protandim users are typically ardent supporters of the product, which motivates them to share the product’s numerous benefits with others.
A key advantage of this distribution model is that a multi-level marketing company allows distributors to fully explain the benefits and uses of a product.
Technically speaking, LifeVantage is not a pyramid scheme.
This is mainly because LifeVantage Distributors can make money by selling LifeVantage products.
However, others have claimed that LifeVantage is a “pyramid scheme in disguise,” because the only way distributors can make good money from their business opportunity is through recruiting new individuals into the company.
The pyramid scheme, as the name implies, is built in the shape of a pyramid.
It usually begins with one individual at the top of the pyramid – the original recruiter.
This individual recruits a second person who is forced to “invest” a large amount of money, which is then paid to the first recruiter.
To recoup his or her investment, the new recruit must recruit additional individuals beneath him or her, each of whom must likewise contribute.
If the recruit can get ten additional individuals to contribute, he or she will benefit from a little investment.
Furthermore, the newcomers become recruiters, and each one is obliged to enlist an extra ten individuals, for a total of 100 more people.
Each of those new recruits is likewise required to pay the individual who recruited him or her.
Recruiters earn on the entire amount of money collected, less the initial investment given to the person who recruited them.
The process is repeated until the base of the pyramid is no longer strong enough to support the upper structure and there are no more recruits.
The problem is that the scheme cannot continue indefinitely because there are only a limited number of people who can participate in it (even if all the people in the world were to join).
People are duped into thinking that giving money will result in more money.
However, no wealth has been created, no product has been sold, no investment has been made, and no service has been provided.
Most Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) companies do provide legitimate products or services.
However, some companies use their products to conceal the fact that their primary focus is on recruitment.
LifeVantage operates in a manner akin to a “pyramid scheme in disguise,” as demonstrated in this 5-minute video.

LifeVantage makes big promises that its products would make you healthier, live longer, and even make you wealthy. However, there is little evidence that it will be successful in all three categories.
Not only does LifeVantage follow the pattern of other MLM companies by monetarily rewarding just a small percentage of its members, but the clinical studies proving the supplement’s efficacy should elicit only lukewarm feelings at most.
In my opinion, being a LifeVantage distributor makes sense only if you love their products and want to buy a monthly supply for the foreseeable future.
You’ll save 20% on each order and may make a little more money if you can sell some to people around you as well.
Anyone with higher hopes of making money by selling LifeVantage is going to be disappointed unless they are prepared to put in the effort required to beat the odds and join the 1% of company success stories.
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where Lifevantage falls short is in scalability.
There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.
MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?
With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!
Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:
Remember Lifevantage? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…
The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Lifevantage MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike Lifevantage, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 50-100X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike Lifevantage, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
