Lead Lightning serves as a sales funnel for the Power Lead System. It's packed with video training, tutorials, and even a Facebook group for its members. It's a go-to for beginners looking to start earning. Lead Lightning's reputation sits somewhere in the middle. Not particularly stellar, but not entirely negative either. User reviews tend to lean towards the positive side, but they often lack specific details and are a bit vague.

PROS

  • Joining Lead Lightning won't break the bank, making it ideal if you're a beginner and hesitate to invest big bucks upfront.
  • You get access to useful tools like landing pages, email templates, and a contact management platform, so you can streamline your marketing efforts.
  • If you're into MLM, the hefty 85% compensation rate might catch your eye.

CONS

  • Lead Lightning operates on a multi-tier structure similar to MLM, meaning your commission depends on the package tier you sell and purchase.
  • The training provided for generating leads isn't top-notch. You'll mostly learn how to promote Lead Lightning itself rather than broader lead generation strategies.
  • Since commissions are tied to tiers, there's a push to buy higher-level packages or additional upsells to maximize earnings.

Why Listen To Us?

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online
  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it
  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

TLDR: What’s The Verdict On Lead Lightning?

Verdict On Lead Lightning

Before we dive into our verdict, let’s break down Lead Lightning’s claims:

Claim 1: Lead Lightning is the most powerful lead and money-grabbing system.

Claim 2: LL promises to deliver a surge in leads, subscribers, and buyers in no time.

Neil Guess touts Lead Lightning as the ultimate lead and cash magnet. He backs this up by highlighting the system’s structure. Starting with just $7 and potentially earning $6 in commission sounds enticing, right?

So, why might Neil Guess’ claims fall short?

Well, Lead Lightning isn’t exactly the powerhouse lead and cash magnet it’s cracked up to be. To generate leads, prospects need to purchase before they’re redirected to your business. No LL purchases mean no leads to nurture.

While the cash-grabbing aspect holds some truth, the low entry price and high commissions come with a catch—upsells and a strong MLM structure.

Why am I not convinced? According to a survey, over half of MLM participants find company profit explanations misleading.

Take Lead Lightning, for instance.

You’ll see the $7 price tag plastered everywhere. But if you’re serious about making money and generating leads, shelling out for the higher-tier affiliate packages is a must. Those cost more than $7.

My main gripe with Lead Lightning is its lack of emphasis on teaching effective lead generation strategies. Instead, they focus solely on promoting LL itself.

But what if you could create your own products instead of promoting theirs?

Enter Digital Leasing—a game-changer that combines the allure of affiliate marketing with full control in your hands.

Imagine a recurring income stream that brings in thousands monthly, all on autopilot, and entirely on your terms.

It gives you the power to scale your income as you see fit, without being at the mercy of someone else.

If that sounds intriguing, Digital Leasing might be worth exploring.

With that said, let’s dig into our Lead Lightning review.

Who Can Benefit From Lead Lightning and Who Should Think Twice?

Who Can Benefit From Lead Lightning

Lead Lightning might be a good fit if:

  • You’re new to multi-tier affiliate marketing and want to give it a try.
  • You’re okay with investing a bit more for monthly memberships to boost your commissions.

However, it’s best to avoid Lead Lightning if:

  • The MLM aspect makes you uneasy, considering the negative stories surrounding MLMs.
  • You’re seeking passive income. Multi-tier affiliate marketing requires active involvement and effort, so it’s not exactly passive.
  • You’re in search of comprehensive lead generation training. Compared to other programs, Lead Lightning primarily focuses on promoting Lead Lightning itself rather than broader lead generation strategies.

Business Model

Lead Lightning is a hybrid of affiliate marketing and MLM. Unlike some courses that might not explicitly mention their multi-level marketing approach, Lead Lightning is upfront about it.

Multi-tier affiliate marketing, sub-affiliates, or network marketing, is a marketing strategy where affiliates are encouraged to recruit new affiliates.

Affiliates are incentivized by earning a percentage of the commissions generated by the affiliates they recruit, and this process can continue for multiple levels or tiers.

While this combination may attract customers, I advise against MLMs due to the high likelihood of financial loss.

Research from the Consumer Awareness Institute suggests that 99% of MLM participants end up losing money.

Here are some other programs and experts that teach affiliate marketing, with no attached MLM features:

  • Wealthy Affiliate: Kyle and Carson claim that Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to learn affiliate marketing and make money online.
  • Zach Crawford: His Secret Affiliate Marketing Hacks program is all about building your own brand and becoming an expert in your field to succeed in affiliate marketing.
  • Online Blueprint: Created by Matt Graham, this program is all about building a solid business. Graham talks about making digital products and using sales funnels for long-term success.

About The Owners – Neil Guess And Michael Price

Neil Guess As A Former Student Of Michael Price

So, who’s pulling the strings at Lead Lightning Funnels Project? Well, Neil Guess and Michael Price are the masterminds behind it all.

Lead Lightning’s sales funnel does not explicitly shout about its creators. A little digging reveals that it’s an offshoot of the Power Lead System (PLS), which Neil Guess and Michael Price own and founded.

Let’s get to know Neil Guess:

Neil Guess calls Washington home and wears the hat of an internet marketer. He’s not just any marketer though—Neil is the co-founder and co-owner of Power Lead System.

Before PLS, he was a Solavei affiliate, dipping his toes into the world of mobile phone service MLM.

Based on the customer testimonial from Priceless Possibilities, it appears that Neil Guess was once a customer of Michael Price’s primary business.

And now, meet Michael Price:

Michael Price, the other half of the Lead Lightning brain trust, is the co-owner of Power Lead System. He’s no stranger to success either, having been crowned Sales Rep of the Year at a Fortune 100 Company. He also nabbed multiple awards in the sales and MLM arena.

Michael is also the founder of PricelessPossibilities.com and the Priceless Possibilities Marketing Platform.

What’s My Personal Opinion On Lead Lightning?

Personal Opinion On Lead Lightning

If you’ve been following my journey here at ScamRisk, you know I’ve been into various affiliate marketing programs. My insights come from that experience, including a closer look at Lead Lightning.

When you search for reviews of affiliate marketing programs, you’ll come across plenty of negative ones on platforms like Reddit, Trustpilot, or BBB.

Why the negativity, you wonder? Well, typically, folks who’ve had a rough go are more inclined to speak out.

But it’s worth noting that a bad experience doesn’t automatically mean the course creator is a scammer.

If you’re feeling unsure about which reviews to trust, here’s my method for evaluating affiliate marketing programs like Lead Lightning:

  1. Check if the person behind the program has real hands-on experience in affiliate marketing.
  2. Look for support options like a private Facebook group or coaching to assist you when you hit roadblocks.
  3. Consider what you’re actually getting for the price, not just the upfront cost.
  4. Ensure they’re transparent about any additional costs or items you might need to invest in.
  5. Lastly, take a peek at how well folks in their Facebook group are faring financially. Pay attention to what they’re sharing, but always remember the factors I mentioned earlier.

My Recommendation On Lead Lightning

Here’s my take on Lead Lightning, weighing it against our criteria:

Neil Guess brings years of internet marketing experience to the table, which is a definite plus.

The presence of a dedicated Facebook group community is another positive aspect.

However, here are the main reasons why I don’t recommend Lead Lightning:

  1. Upsells Galore: Despite the low entry fee of $7, be prepared for a barrage of upsell offers.
  2. Tiered Commission Structure: Your commission hinges on the package tier you sell and purchase, which can complicate earnings.
  3. Outdated Material: Some of the materials may be outdated and obsolete, as the platform has been around since 2013.

Is Neil Guess Running A Lead Lightning Scam?

Is Neil Guess Running A Lead Lightning Scam

When you hear “multi-tier affiliate programs,” you might instinctively roll your eyes, associating it with scammy tactics and people trying to pull a fast one on you.

But the truth is, many people are earning a decent living in the multi-tier affiliate marketing industry.

Some are pulling in a steady $100 every week, while others are hitting the jackpot with $10k per week.

So, where does Lead Lightning fit into this equation? Is it just another scam?

Well, technically, Lead Lightning isn’t a scam. Neil Guess won’t just take your money and disappear into thin air without giving you access to the course.

But here’s the thing: affiliate marketing, despite what Neil Guess may imply, isn’t as simple as it seems. It’s easy in theory, but it takes time—a lot of it. You must be willing to grind daily, even if you don’t see tangible results for months.

While putting in the hard work now for future payoff is admirable, success isn’t guaranteed, and the commissions might be modest at best. It’s a scenario where everything needs to align perfectly for you, leaving much up to chance.

But what if you could generate monthly checks ranging from $500 to $2,000 each, almost on autopilot? Within just one week?

What if you could learn this from someone who’s already mastered the art of driving profitable traffic?

Better yet, imagine doubling or tripling that income within the next month or two. This has been my experience with Digital Leasing.

Some friends run six-figure Digital Leasing businesses from their favorite vacation spots. They prioritize enjoyment over work, thanks to this program. They can take weeks or even months off, and money keeps pouring in.

If this sounds like the life you want, check out Digital Leasing. It could be your ticket to living life on your terms.

What’s Included With Lead Lightning?

Conclusion: Should You Hop On Lead Lightning?

In wrapping up, my advice on joining Lead Lightning leans towards looking at other options. While Lead Lightning talks up its affiliate marketing opportunities, it’s not without its challenges and drawbacks.

Putting your time and effort into Lead Lightning might not bring the results you’re hoping for. There’s tough competition and potential frustrations involved.

Instead, I suggest considering different paths, like Digital Leasing. It offers stability, good earning potential, and a simpler approach to success.

Take charge of your future and focus on avenues with better chances for satisfaction. That way, you can build a steady income while enjoying more freedom in your life.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online - Digital Leasing

<insert digital leasing image here>

I’ve personally tried all of the major online business models:

  • I’ve sold women’s health supplements via Clickbank affiliate marketing
  • I’ve sold fidget spinners through Amazon FBA
  • I’ve drop-shipped a toilet-bowl putting green on Shopify

And I made money with all of them, so trust me when I say: there is no “perfect” business model.

That being said, my #1 recommendation for making real money online is, hands-down: Digital Leasing.

Whether you’re a complete newbie, or you’ve been around the block before but have never had that “big win” to propel you forward, Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1)Time commitment: Multi-tier affiliate marketing requires dedication and consistent effort for success. Building trust, creating quality content, and growing your audience all take time and hard work.

It’s a whole different ball game compared to Digital Leasing. If you have an hour or two per day, you can do this. Even if you want to drop everything and commit fully, that works too.

You don’t have to be constantly working to make money. The income you generate is recurring.

Imagine taking off for a month to places like Hawaii, Paris, National Parks, & other spots people only dream about – all while collecting dozens of little $500-$2,000 checks. It’s like a dream come true.

But it’s only possible to do it when you’ve separated your income from your time.

2)You Own & Control EVERYTHING: In affiliate marketing, you don’t own or control the products or services you promote. Your main job is to boost sales for the merchant, which means you have limited say in their overall business decisions.

With Digital Leasing, you own everything, so you have ultimate control.

3)It’s Effectively Copy-Paste: Here’s my favorite part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up, you can literally copy-paste another version of it and find another willing “renter” in a few days. DOUBLING your income doesn’t get much easier than that…

If you wanted to double your income as an affiliate, you would need to sell twice as much inventory, or double your profit margins. And I can guarantee you (from my days selling women’s health products as an affiliate), that’s a lot harder than a few clicks & a phone call.

4)Great Margins: Profits from affiliate products are typically thin, unless you’re dealing with high-priced items. However, this also means facing stiff competition, which can drive up the costs of acquiring traffic.

In Digital leasing, your profit margin is nearly 100%. Watch here to learn how.

Just a reminder: these Digital Rental Properties are worth (at a minimum) $500/mo in semi-passive income. And each time you create another one, your income increases, and the effort put into creating the next property decreases.

Best case scenario, you have properties bringing in over $3,000+/mo on auto-pilot.

5)You’re Helping REAL People: My biggest gripe with affiliate marketing is that you’re selling products that will bring you the biggest commission, not the products that will help people the most.

It’s cool in the short term to make a quick buck, but in the long-term, it eats away at your soul.

But when you’re talking about Digital Leasing, you’re helping solve REAL problems that people are ASKING for help with:

Small local businesses around the world need one thing: customers. Without them, their business would fall apart. If we can provide those customers, they’re going to be really happy – and they’re going to pay you for it.

You’re helping a struggling mother or father put FOOD on the table for their families, put their kids through college, or simply live life a little bit more comfortably.

Having this type of impact on the world is what will help you sleep soundly at night.

So, the rest is up to you. You could keep looking at other affiliate programs like Lead Lightning, which might make you money 12 months from now.

You could keep researching and researching for the next few months (or few years), never making a concrete decision.

OR, you can look deep inside, think about those dreams, hopes, & desires, and make the decision to ACTUALLY make it happen, just like it has for thousands of other students before you.

Making a fortune while actually helping real people that need it.

If this sounds like you, click here to see how it all works.
