Everyone today is looking for ways to make money – passively. And the majority of these people are shifting to the digital world in an attempt to create a lucrative business online.
In this review, let’s take a closer look at Jon Mac’s Store Formula to find out if this dropshipping course will deliver or disappoint.
Store Formula is a step by step tutorial on drop shipping spread out in a four-week online coaching video modules.
Jon Mac claims that he has the “winning formula” to help you succeed in eCommerce.
Could Store Formula be the dropshipping course that will make you a successful online entrepreneur?
Let’s find out if this is your way out of the 9-5 job!
Also included in the review is Commerce HQ which is also one of Jon’s products that acts as an alternative platform to Shopify.
We’ll talk about whether eCommerce is the right online business for you.
At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Jon Mac’s Store Formula and eCommerce in general.
And most important, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $50,000 a month in mostly passive income.
This system made me swear off ecommerce for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

Store Formula is a video learning material that provides people a way to make money in the eCommerce industry.
Also known as Store Formula 3, the program employs a process that’s specific to the program.
Store Formula’s method involves working hand in hand with commerce HQ and dropshipping. The combination of the two aims to create a self-sufficient dropshipping system for your store.
It’s perfect for the newbie who wants to start an entrepreneurial journey with e Commerce and make money full time.
And for someone who has no experience nor background on dropshipping, can this program really deliver when failure rate in dropshipping is rather high?
But I have to say, its coverage on traffic sources is pretty limited. It would have been more helpful if they covered more.
Jon Mac is a successful marketing strategist, mentor, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur who is behind several online courses, books, and platforms. Store Formula, Formula, and CommerceHQ are some of them.
He claims that the reason why he does what he does is because he wants to contribute to his students success – kinda like paying it forward.
Then again, that could just be another sales tactic to draw potential subscribers.
Also, Jon Mac does not have a large following on Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms and channels which I find odd. Most dropshipping course creators boast of a large social media presence which obviously enhances their credibility and authenticity to potential users.
Store Formula, or also known as Store Formula 3, is an online course that uses dropshipping and CommerceHQ (which Jon Mac co-founded) to employ different methods in making money through an online store.
Jon Mac, through his Commerce HQ platform, is essentially trying to compete with Shopify.
The course will be carried out in several formats: Ultra HD videos, webinars, mp3 recordings, and transcripts.
It’s important to emphasize, as I’ve mentioned previously, that this course focuses on dropshipping and assumes that the dropshipping is within the United States only.
Store Formula is a step by step video instruction on drop shipping spread out in a 4-week course outline, 53 videos to be exact that run for a total of 9 hours and 17 minutes.
Store Formula is perfect for anyone who is a newcomer in eCommerce. It promises to help you build your online store from the ground up.
The method is done in a step by step fashion which I think is really great for someone who is not familiar with dropshipping.
What’s great about its design and structure is that where there is internet connection, it is accessible anywhere via a mobile device or desktop. More importantly, it’s updated regularly which I think is very crucial when it comes to running an online business.
When you become a member of Store Formula, you automatically gain access to CommerceHQ which is another course by Jon Mac that tries to mimic the functions of Shopify.
The entire course focuses on how you can build a maximum of six online stores with the use of Store Formula’s methods, as well as Jon’s Commerce HQ.
When you become a member of Store Formula, you get a free subscription for 1 year!
That means you get to use what Jon calls as the “highest converting eCommerce platform in the world.”
The 1 year free access is valued at $3,588. And within 24 hours, you can expect some conversions happening for you.
Store Formula’s course package includes access to their alumni community. Get to enjoy nonstop and unlimited interaction with more than 3 thousand students through their private Mastermind Facebook Group.
Jon Mac boasts of his proven results with his program. In his very own words, he says it quite accurately:
Thousands of successful students, 32 millionaires and 256 6-figure earners. My biggest goal with this program is to create as many successful students as possible. I stop at nothing to give my students the tools they need to push through and make it in Ecommerce.
He says this to challenge potential users with bold confidence:
Simply signup for the program, watch the content, launch a store and ads and if you’re not completely satisfied you can request a full refund as long as you send proof that you launched a store and ads.
Store Formula has a total of 53 video modules, all in Ultra HD, with a viewing time of exactly 9 hours and 17 minutes.
Total Video Length: 8 minutes & 58 seconds
The Welcome video gives you an introduction to the course, pretty much what to expect in the entire program.
Jon also introduces himself briefly and says that he created the course for these two:
Total Video Length: 2 hours & 37 minutes (10 modules)
Week 1 is all about helping you shift to the “right mindset” and quickly set up your Commerce HQ stores.
Mindset is central if you should become successful in eCommerce, so this part is something I’d like to commend them for.
Jon Mac’s alternative platform to Shopify, Commerce HQ, carries all that you need to put up an online store with high conversion rates.
It has several different apps and themes to choose from, and you create up to 6 online stores for one solid year.
Jon suggests that you begin with a general store, then when you find some winning products, you get to learn next how these can be added to Commerce HQ. And down the line, you will learn how to build your niche stores too.
Commerce HQ is a pretty straightforward tool that’s easy to use by anyone, even a newcomer. As a matter of fact, it’s so easy to set up that you can launch it within 24 hours – sometimes even less!
As expected, this is where some issues circle around the Shopify and Commerce HQ platforms. Presumably, the latter is supposed to be more streamlined than Shopify.
But since I don’t intend to put up a dropshipping store anytime soon, I have not tried Commerce HQ yet.
If you encounter any glitch or issue, Jon Mac Store Formula has a decent support team that addresses your concern through their email client support system.
You should expect though that majority of the modules talks about the right mindset. Being a business coach himself, this is kinda expected.
As such, Jon Mac gives this “equation” to his students:
Current State + Plan and Daily Execution x Time you put into it = Your Dream Life.
Total Video Length: 2 hours & 17 minutes (14 modules)
Week 2, as the title implies, is all about finding the winning products for your Commerce HQ store.
Jon shares that reinventing the wheel in this type of business is risky so he recommends to go for proven products in the market. Here, he shows you exactly how to find them through Facebook feeds.
Additionally, Mac Store Formula uses a unique software that enables you to go through all active ads on Facebook. And this makes identifying winning products so easy.
Jon Mac also highlights the fact that you can make 6 figures a month with only one product per store.
Other equally important topics he covers here are profit margin and pricing for your products.
Total Video Length: 1 hour & 55 minutes (11 modules)
Week 3 of Store Formula focuses heavily on Facebook Ads.
According to Jon, Facebook is key to quickly advance your eCommerce business, claiming that they cracked the code on how to effectively use Facebook Ads. And if you don’t know this, you’ll be missing out on a lot of money.
This module walks you through the step by step process on how to put up and run a successful Ad campaign with the use of Jon’s formula.
Total Video Length: 1 hour & 29 minutes
Week 4 is all about outsourcing.
Here, Jon teaches you the importance of building your own team so that you can realize the “dream lifestyle” you want. After all, this is where you should arrive in your entrepreneurial journey.
With a team, your online store can run with the needed support without you micro-managing the operations.
By doing this, you get more time. And more time means you get to focus on other stuff that you also want to do or pursue.
Jon Mac recommends to hire people for the following:
The problem with this though is that he isn’t completely clear on the how to’s of these suggestions. If the students are newbies, they definitely need more concrete guidance than just talking about it vaguely.
I could think of a dozen of other things that he could have added here.
Total Video Length: 48 minutes
I’ve recently had the chance to access 5 Q&A sessions with Jon Mac.
The following are what I like about these modules:
Judging by the students success stories and testimonials you find on their website, it seems that it is!
But we all know that we can’t be entirely sure about these testimonials, simply because there is no way to verify if they have been manipulated and faked.
And then of course, it could be a part of an CommerceHQ affiliate program for all you know.
Below are some features you would find in CommerceHQ:
I do think that the course is well structured, and that enough to keep you rolling for the week.
However, I don’t think that the content is worth the price tag. Given the extras and other support you get from the team, things get a little better though. CommerceHQ alone valued at $299 a month.
So I say, it’s really up to whether or not you want to try and take the risk on this business model which, if you ask me, isn’t the best for this year.
You can certainly make money with dropshipping, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to become a dropshipper (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $50,000+ per month teaches some of the same dropshipping skills, but shows you how to monetize them in a much, MUCH more profitable way.
No, John Mac isn’t a scam at all. He and his program are definitely legit.
The more apt question would be, “Is it worth the price?”
In my opinion, the coverage is rather limited and just not sufficient enough to get your dropshipping business up and running.
Although according to Jon, in his very own words, says, “thousands of successful students, 32 millionaires and 256 6-figure earners,” there is just no way this can be verified.
I do appreciate Jon’s bold attempt to “replace” Shopify. But to be honest, it isn’t at par, not even close, to the standards that Shopify operates on.
So the question is, is there an alternative where you can make money from?
It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful online business!
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where Store Formula falls short is in scalability.
You can’t realistically expect to be able to make passive income when you have to watch your store and manage ads all day.
But what if you leverage it?
With this digital real estate program, you can have the ability to completely walk away from the laptop because there is no ad management!
Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to answer the phone…all you have to do is get the phone to ring.
Remember Jon Mac and all the small profit margins?
This one actually allows you to collect that without being on the laptop managing a store all day. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Store Formula group in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike Store Formula, where you have to run ads all day and worry about getting a $5 profit off a $50 product 1,000 times over…. A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike Store Formula, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent OFF the laptop.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.
