Mike Barron claims to have made approximately $1.9 million in sales per month.

And if you want to make a lot of money while working from anywhere in the world, all you require is your phone and a laptop – or so the story goes.

Mike claims to be your go-to guy. He’ll teach you how to earn big commissions by conducting phone sales for coaches in his program, the 6-Figure Inside Closer.

Is it legit, though?

Seriously, can it really be that simple?

Do high-level digital marketing companies train with him?

Or are you going to regret spending your hard-earned money?

Let’s find out.

The Bad

Inside Closer is a sales training course that promises to show you how to earn a 6-figure income by being a “closer”.

In other words, taking sales calls for high-ticket coaching programs.

Honestly, it’s not a bad premise…

If you’re looking to trade in one job for another, with even less security.

Ok, all snark aside, sales isn’t a bad industry. Salespeople are always in demand, and – if everything is aligned – you can earn a good to great income.

Unfortunately, that relies on everything actually working properly. And in 99/100 organizations, that’s just not the case.

The biggest problem with being a “closer” is that – no matter how much money you make – you’re entirely at someone else’s mercy. If it’s not your program or your business, then your income can always be taken away.

The second biggest problem is lead flow/quality. The average no-show rate for most coaching programs is 50-70%. That means if you get 8 calls on your calendar per day, 4-5 of them won’t even show up. In other words, half your day (and half your potential income) is wasted.

The third problem is the actual commission rate. Now, this isn’t actually a problem, except that most of these training programs tell you you can land a $1,000+ commission check every day.

The thing is, the average commission rate for an online coaching program is $500. So, to hit that $1,000 commission, you’d have to close at least two sales a day.

But if 4-5 of your calls no-show every day, that means you have to close 2 out of 3/4 calls. Giving you a 50-75% close rate. And frankly, if you’re that good of a closer, you should have your own training program.

It’s not that easy to “work from the beach”.

financial freedom

The final problem here is consistency. Sales is and always has been a cyclical industry. You’ll have great months and terrible months. If you can stomach that, great.

But what if, instead, you could have a consistent stream of income with a reliable amount of cash coming in every single month?

What if you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Being on the phone all day
  • Wasting hours of your life when people no-show
  • Trading your time for money
  • Financial stress during a bad month
  • Letting someone else control your fate

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing prospects and reciting the same sales pitch over and over again?

TESTIMONIAL - STILL GETTING PAID

However, if you’d still like to know more about Mike Barron, keep reading.

Who Is Mike Barron?

Who Is Mike Barron

Mike Barron has an incredible story. He was born in a difficult neighborhood to a 16-year-old mother. He was engrossed in street life as an adolescent and aspired to be a mobster.

Mike had a strong desire for achievement and wanted to change his life by enrolling in college. He was eventually offered the position of president of the institution where he attended college.

Things took a turn for the worse when the college where he worked lost its accreditation – which, great story aside, makes me wonder how legitimate this “college” was.

His money vanished, and he was having difficulty finding another job.

Then, with great timing, Mike was able to connect with billionaire Grant Cardone on a live call. Grant invited Mike to his office, and to make a long story short, Mike became Grant’s inside closer and learned the ins and outs of high-ticket closing.

Mike is now the owner of Limelight Media, a multi-seven-figure Facebook marketing company aimed at fitness professionals. His business assists in the generation of leads and sales.

He also manages Mike Barron’s Closer Academy (sometimes known as Mike Barron’s Closing Academy), which trains people on how to close sales.

What Is The Inside Closer Program?

What Is The Inside Closer Program

Does the prospect of earning $1,000 to $2,000 or more in commissions appeal to you? That’s what a high-ticket inside closer can do. Or at least, that’s Barron’s sales pitch.

Mike does an excellent job of outlining the high-ticket coaching business strategy.

In Mike’s webinar, he explains how these coaches close leads and sell their programs for tens of thousands of dollars.

Essentially, it works as follows:

  • Coaches run advertisements and produce leads.

  • These leads schedule appointments with team members (closer).

  • To close the lead, the inside closer follows a script.

  • The closer receives a commission when a sale is made.

Basically, you’re a salesman.

The Insider Closer curriculum covers some of the skills required to close these high-ticket coaching leads.

What makes being a closer for a high-ticket item appealing is:

  • You do not require your own product.

  • You’re dealing with leads who are zealous about the product.

  • High commissions (10% – 20% in the majority of cases)

  • Another advantage is that it is not like a typical sales position where you have to clock in and out and achieve quotas.

Instead, you reserve times that work with your schedule. That implies you may perform a few hours per week and earn several thousand dollars per week if you can close enough deals.

How Much Does The Program Cost?

local lead generationThe Inside Closer curriculum costs $97 to get introduced…but students have named all kinds of other prices – one customer said he told them he only had $500, and then later on the sales team demanded another $5000 to continue.

Someone else said it cost them $7500 to join.

It seems the company may simply charge whatever you have in the bank account.

Not great.

If you’re wondering how you can also become a closer for a coach with a high-ticket product, Mike has you covered there as well.

Mike has a personal network of online entrepreneurs with whom he can put you in touch. I’m sure there’s more to it, but that’s what he says.

What Is High-Ticket Selling?

The main advantage of working as an inside closer for high-ticket items is that you can earn substantial commissions.

According to Mike’s Inside Closer webinar, most coaches with high-ticket items provide closers ranging from 10% to 20% on average.

Some coaches charge $5,000 to $20,000 or more for their services. That implies you might earn $1,000 to $2,000 or more in commissions on average.

You can see why this is an appealing offer to some poeple.

The majority of people dislike their work and desire to boost their overall income.

Talking on the phone or via Zoom for potential

Mike has a personal network of online entrepreneurs with whom he can put you in touch. I’m sure there’s more to it, but that’s what he says.

does not appear to be that difficult when you hear Mike Barron talk about it…but it certainly comes with its obstacles.

Is This Course Worthwhile?

mark barron scam or legitI’m well aware that nothing is ever as straightforward as it appears. When I was younger, I was surrounded by a lot of salespeople.

Only the best closers stood out and were acknowledged for their successes in the sales department, which had a high turnover rate.

Inside closing for high-ticket items is slightly different, but it’s still sales. Training and scripts help the novice, but some flourish as closers more than others.

If you are uncomfortable talking to strangers, let alone trying to sell them a product, this may not be the job for you.

Prospects reject even the most skilled salespeople. You’ll need strong skin for those situations.

There is no guarantee of obtaining a high-ticket client.

Although Mike appeared to cover this in his webinar, there was no guarantee that you would be able to become a closer for a high-ticket coach.

He states that he will educate you on how to be irresistible to these coaches, but I’m not sure how likely you will land a closing role if you have to compete with every other “closer” that Barron has ever trained.

The great news is that there are many product owners out there. As I previously stated, you can’t go on any social media platform without seeing advertisements for these courses and coaching.

Can You Trust Inside Closer?

Inside Closer Review

I don’t feel the Mike Barron Academy or his Inside Closer Program is that shady, unlike some of his former students online.

The Inside Closer Program appears to provide adequate training for acquiring high-ticket clients and learning how to close for them.

Remember that there are no promises. You are not guaranteed high-ticket clients, and even if you are, there is no assurance of income.

It is a sales role, and you must work hard to close leads to earn commissions.

The benefit of this training is that you will learn crucial sales abilities, especially for closing high-ticket items.

These abilities or skills can be helpful for future sales positions or even selling your own items if you become a product creator yourself.

Can You Make Money With Inside Closer?

Sure, I guess.

Inside Closer can help online entrepreneurs earn high commissions.

But…

There’s a lot that comes along with sales that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea…

It’s not impossible to make money with sales, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

Let’s hear what the people have to say:

“$7500 to be an appointment setter?

This program is a total scam and these people are criminals. The government really needs to get involved. Who charges innocent unsuspecting people $7500 to be an appointment setter when digital marketing companies train you for free? They got my $500 and every contact detail always was unreachable or disconnected.

Please anyone reading this do not lose your money on buying this fake program. I feel sorry for anyone that actually paid $7500. They will not get no more money from me and they will be getting reported to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. Omg as smart as I thought I was in this case I was a total [censored]. Normally I do my research but this time I did not and lost $500.

Word of mouth advertising is very effective so anyone that is reading this please spread the word about this man and this scam before more people get their hard earned money taken from them. I really wanted to believe the hype. You live and you learn. Smdh.”

Ouch. Not good. Let’s try another.

“Personally, I know I’ve just joined them. And I was doing ibc training with the Welch brothers. And in the ibc mastermind where you go for support and positivity, every third post would be bashing limelight and Barron as a competitor. I know that before I even paid for limelight they were already accepting me into the group, already giving opportunities within their organization but outside the lesson plan to make money.

I know a couple of the guys used to work with Ibc and even the guy who got me into it went I to the 9000 dollar idc program where they’re supposed to match you up with a gig and he had been 3 months in with no leads whereas mike Barron’s company doesn’t guarantee you money or anything, they tell you that the opportunity is there and that the guarantee that they’ll work with you until you find a client as well as there’s positions offered within the industry to become a coach or something with a base bay and commission.

Ik there’s zoom meetings a couple times a day and at least once a week, but sometimes even 3-4 times a week with millionaires that they often time partner with. For me I found it as a more connected and hands on mentorship where I have direct support and ask questions at anytime and the zoom meetings are very inclusive compared to sitting there and listening to the end. There’s also a 14 day full refund period and after it’s half. Idk many “scams” that refund people. It’s definitely not a pirating scheme like some email or “IRS” phone call. I really think it comes down to what you need personally yk.

Just because something doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean it’s a scam because it’s working for others. It’s just everyones different. Not everyone’s meant to play basketball or go pro or make it to college or even high school varsity. But think of how many people and kids get into and pay all this money and how many drop out of it by college or pro ball and no one’s over here saying that or any other sports a scam. I mean people say college is a scam. I’ll say for me it’s not worth it. I don’t need it or it’s not for me. But yk, a degree in neuroscience doesn’t guarantee you a job as a neurosurgeon 🤷🤷”

Again, not great! Let’s try to find something more positive.

“I had already been looking for a resource that would connect me with inside closing. After investing in a few online income opportunities, I found only a couple that were legit but they were not worth it because of the amount of time I had to put in just to complete a program/task/opportunity whatever they wanted to call it. Secret shopping is where its at if you live in a bigger city, which is not my case but I still did it and still do sometimes. I wanted to make bigger earnings without having to travel that far.

I saw the section 8 housing to Millionaire clip on ******** and the former CEO was very skilled with the use of his words. He really is offering a chance for the left behind to catch up and blow up their wealth. You are told from the beginning that if you want to feel this opportunity’s worth, then you must sacrifice time, **************doubt. You have to reach out and follow up. You must have the mindset of a winner and use the academy training. I do think that students should have more testing on the training information itself because a lot of them are unable to sell something they have no knowledge or experience selling.

I was a lucky one, and followed my gut intuition and landed myself with a site that I am very familiar with the product they sell and it is definitely different than what I was practicing selling the academy, but it was exactly what I wanted in the beginning when I showed my interest in high ticket closing. When people want to quit because they decide it’s not for them, I call bs.

They knew it was for them at one point but then it wasn’t easy for them to get the next big dollar so they quit. The support they offer is superb and as long as you do not quit, they will never quit. Life is not easy, if it is then your doing it wrong & you arent happy with what you have no matter how rich you are. People who object on here know at the end of the day who quit on who. This is a pain point they must handle to ever succeed!”

That’s a different experience! Let’s get one more for the road.

“I did not invest. I was tempted to, but ultimately I know to do research before investing in “get rich quick” schemes. Reading these reviews as well as others elsewhere online sealed the deal for me. The red flags I saw were first, I had to give my email and phone number before I could watch the 30 minute video. But before that, I read the comments section on Facebook that led me to the link, none seemed bad and all were asking for more info, admins were directing those to their inboxes for further info.

When I clicked the link and went to where it sent me, I instantly wondered what all those comments were even talking about, because the web page I was sent to was obviously giving me all the info I was going to need. Then I got a phone call from out of state that I promptly ignored. I knew it must be in connection to what I literally just started investing time into. I was not about to talk to somebody on the phone when I hadn’t even had the chance to watch this video that was promised to explain it all. Now I’m happy I did not answer, as I’m sure they would have aggressively tried to sell me on their scheme.

And now for the actual video.. at more than one point I wanted this guy to stop droning on about what he already made clear in the first 5 minutes. It seemed all too obvious that he was trying a little too desperately to sell me on this venture. I was a little too desperately giving him the time of day because I want to be rich…and easy like. Then I scrolled down the page while he was talking and boom, there is an initial investment…I no longer remember why I thought it would be free, the nature of how he tried so hard to sell himself quickly disabused me of any notion that this service would be anything but.

And then I saw the email for a refund if unsatisfied…it did not match the email address he stated toward the end of his video. His long winded video. I must stress to those who barely found this forum in time..or even found it naturally from already having been scammed, to just type into your chosen search engine the name of whatever you suspect, followed by “scam?” Or “fake?”. Doing that has saved me a time or few.”

Is Inside Closer A Scam?

scam or legit scamrisk

So, is Inside Closer a scam?

Not technically.

You can make money with this program, and if you want to take the first step into the world of online business/marketing, this isn’t a bad way to go.

But at the same time, sales is a job, not a business. You’re not going to reach time freedom or financial freedom if you’re always trading your time for money.

Remember, there’s a good chance you’ll be spending most of your day on the phone.

However, since you’re looking at a 50% no-show rate, you’ll also have a lot of dead time. And that’s time you can use to build a more reliable, more passive income stream.

What if you could use a couple hours a day of free time and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2023?

Digital Real Estate

The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL - JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: As a commission salesperson, you don’t own anything. You have no control over lead quality, commission rates, or even your time.

With Digital Real Estate, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

TESTIMONIAL - FEELING BLESSED

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

TESTIMONIAL - SCOTT LEAD GEN

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income as a salesperson, you’d have to double the number of calls you take OR double your close rate. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

TESTIMONIAL - LANCE LEAD GEN

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. As a salesperson, your boss might convince you that what you’re selling improves people’s lives, but in reality, you have no control over what happens once they fork over the money.

But with Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

TESTIMONIAL - BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Mike Barron’s courses which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

  1. This program is definitely a scam. The closer academy is charging people$7500 for training that is so low quality it should be offered for free. His is being paid by these companies to find appointment setters and closers then going to charge you a fee to watch hours of videos that does not teach you anything. You still have to be trained on the product after losing hours of your time on low quality training. This is a total scam and very unethical on Mike Barron’s part.

    • I am so sorry to hear about your experience, thanks for sharing your story. Hopefully hearing this helps others. Any time someone decides to charge for training it should be high quality. Were you able to get your money back?

      • Ya Man. I got close to giving these guys my cash. They will say ANYTHING. I even called them out saying , Bro you better not be wolves in sheeps clothing, preying on those in Poverty and Stealing money. He assured me. Im pretty sure Barron pays Youtube to keep former students from giving him a bad rep and exposing. Watch his videos on Youtube .. they literally say nothing bit tell you to Trust the process AND they are all people who work there!! No students giving testimonials on Success. On the hows. Every video is identical with a lot of Nothing said.

Oo and Yes. You could make a lot of money probably . If Your OK selling his program and Lying to blue collar, honest folks..l

  2. I have a young tenant who go sucked into this. (Mike Barron’s Closer Academy) Has been sending in $500 a month for “tuition” for several months now. Says he is suppose to get his first commission check soon. I told him to quit sending them money as he is being scammed.

  3. I would like to say I’ve been scammed by Mike Barron. I was working in the Biotech industry & making $2000 a week. I was told by one of his closures I’d make more money working from home then what I was making& they made is seem so good. They were persistent on calling & trying to get me to sign up. Eventually I did… and that was my biggest mistake. After completing the academy they make you work for a month for free, and you only make 2% commission (if you make a sale) I lose my job over Mike Barrons $7500 Academy & have tried to get my money back. But they won’t give me my money back. DO NOT JOIN IT IS A SCAM! The only people who make money are his close friends no one else! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HIS PROGRAMS!

  4. YES HE IS SCAM STILL NO REFUND

  5. I tried him out, made a few bucks. Notthing close to what was promised, which is unsurprising.

You basically pay to get thrown into a huge pool of other sales-people (CLOSERS is just a fancy phrase for it) that Barron keeps churning out. Then you have to all compete for the same few bucks.

    Not for me. Good review

  6. ya cant do sales too much pressure will try the recommendation seems more paced to when i am ready to get down to work
