Millionaire Closer is a sales training course that promises to show you how to earn a 6-figure income by being a “closer”.
In other words, taking sales calls for high-ticket coaching programs.
Honestly, it’s not a bad premise…
If you’re looking to trade in one job for another, with even less security.
Ok, all snark aside, sales isn’t a bad industry. Salespeople are always in demand, and – if everything is aligned – you can earn a good to great income.
Unfortunately, that relies on everything actually working properly. And in 99/100 organizations, that’s just not the case.
The biggest problem with being a “closer” is that – no matter how much money you make – you’re entirely at someone else’s mercy. If it’s not your program or your business, then your income can always be taken away.
Hard to live that work-from-the-beach lifestyle so many gurus promote.
The second biggest problem is lead flow/quality. The average no-show rate for most coaching programs is 50-70%. That means if you get 8 calls on your calendar per day, 4-5 of them won’t even show up. In other words, half your day (and half your potential income) is wasted.
The third problem is the actual commission rate. Now, this isn’t actually a problem, except that most of these training programs tell you you can land a $1,000+ commission check every day.
The thing is, the average commission rate for an online coaching program is $500. So, to hit that $1,000 commission, you’d have to close at least two sales a day.
But if 4-5 of your calls no-show every day, that means you have to close 2 out of 3/4 calls. Giving you a 50-75% close rate. And frankly, if you’re that good of a closer, you should have your own training program.
The final problem here is consistency. Sales is and always has been a cyclical industry. You’ll have great months and terrible months. If you can stomach that, great.
But what if, instead, you could have a consistent stream of income with a reliable amount of cash coming in every single month?
What if you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
- Being on the phone all day
- Wasting hours of your life when people no-show
- Trading your time for money
- Financial stress during a bad month
- Letting someone else control your fate
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing prospects and reciting the same sales pitch over and over again?
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.
However, if you’d still like to know more about Mike Barron, keep reading.
Who Is Mike Barron?
Mike Barron claims to have made approximately $1.9 million in sales per month.
And if you want to make a lot of money while working from anywhere in the world, all you require is your phone and a laptop – or so the story goes.
Mike claims to be your go-to guy. He’ll teach you how to earn big commissions by conducting phone sales for coaches in his program, the 6-Figure Inside Closer.
But can it really be that simple?
Well, Mike Barron does have an incredible story.
He was born in a difficult neighborhood to a 16-year-old mother. He was engrossed in street life as an adolescent and aspired to be nothing more than a dangerous criminal.
But somewhere along the way, he decided to change.
Mike had a strong desire for achievement and decided to enroll in college. Apparently, he was eventually offered the position of president of the institution where he attended college…
…things took a turn for the worse when the college where he worked lost its accreditation.
It makes me wonder what kind of “college” this really was, but at least he was off the streets.
His money vanished, and he was having difficulty finding another job.
Then, by luck or fate, Mike was able to connect with billionaire Grant Cardone on a live call. Grant called Mike to his office, and to make a long story short, Mike became Grant’s inside closer and learned the ins and outs of high-ticket closing.
Mike is now the owner of Limelight Media, a multi-seven-figure marketing company aimed at fitness professionals. His business assists in the generation of leads and sales.
Under the Limelight Media banner, he manages several programs like Mike Barron’s Closer Academy (sometimes known as Mike Barron’s Closing Academy), which trains people on how to close sales.
If you’re wondering how you can also become a closer for a coach with a high-ticket product, Mike has you covered there as well.
Mike has a personal network of online entrepreneurs with whom he can put you in touch. I’m sure there’s more to it, but that’s what he says.
What Is The Inside Closer Program?
The Inside Closer Program appears to provide adequate training for acquiring high-ticket clients and learning how to close for them.
Remember that there are no promises. You are not guaranteed high-ticket clients, and even if you are, there is no assurance of income.
It is a sales role, and you must work hard to close leads to earn commissions.
The benefit of this training is – apparently – that you will learn crucial sales abilities, especially for closing high-ticket items.
These abilities or skills could be helpful for future sales positions or even selling your own items if you become a product creator yourself.
What’s Inside The Inside Closer Course?
Does the prospect of earning $1,000 to $2,000 or more in commissions appeal to you? That’s what a high-ticket inside closer can do.
Or at least, that’s Barron’s sales pitch when advertising his “Millionaire Closers Club” – the end result of making big-time sales from within his Inside Closer program.
Mike does an decent job of outlining the high-ticket coaching business strategy.
In his webinar, he explains how these coaches close leads and sell their programs for tens of thousands of dollars.
Essentially, it works as follows:
- Coaches run advertisements and produce leads.
- These leads schedule appointments with team members (closer).
- To close the lead, the inside closer follows a script.
- The closer receives a commission when a sale is made.
Basically, you’re a salesman.
The Insider Closer curriculum covers all of the skills required to close these high-ticket coaching leads.
What makes being a closer for a high-ticket item appealing is:
- You are not required to stock your own product.
- You’re dealing with leads who are sometimes zealous about the product.
- High commissions (10% – 20% in the majority of cases)
- Another advantage is that it is not like a typical sales position where you have to clock in and out and achieve quotas.
Instead, you reserve times that work with your schedule. That implies you may perform a few hours per week and earn several thousand dollars per week if you can close enough deals.
High-Ticket Selling
The main advantage of working as an inside closer for high-ticket items is that you can earn substantial commissions.
According to Mike’s Inside Closer webinar, he tells students that they’ll earn 10-20% of the price they paid for the program – on each commission.
Some coaches charge $5,000 to $20,000 or more for their services. That implies you might earn $1,000 to $2,000 or more in commissions on average.
You can see why this is an appealing offer to some people.
The majority of people dislike their work and desire to boost their overall income.
Talking on the phone or via Zoom for potential big commissions does not appear to be that difficult when you hear Mike Barron talk about it…but it certainly comes with its obstacles.
Downsides
Only the best closers stand out and are acknowledged for their successes in the sales department, which often has a high turnover rate.
Inside closing for high-ticket items is slightly different, but it’s still sales. Training and scripts help the novice, but some flourish as closers more than others.
If you are uncomfortable talking to strangers, let alone trying to sell them a product, this may not be the job for you.
Prospects reject even the most skilled salespeople. You’ll need strong skin for those situations.
There is no guarantee of obtaining a high-ticket client.
Although Mike appeared to suggest this in his webinar, there was no guarantee that you would be able to become a closer for a high-ticket coach.
He states that he will educate you on how to be irresistible to these coaches, but I’m not sure how likely you will land a closing role if you have to compete with every other “closer” that Barron has ever trained.
The great news is that there are many product owners out there. As I previously stated, you can’t go on any social media platform without seeing advertisements for these courses and coaching.
Other Programs
I gotta say – most of these programs are all the same, just with different quantities of material based on how much you’re willing to pay.
Also, I typically find it to be a red flag when a guru keeps switching the names of his flagship program…but that’s not quite the case, here.
Usually, a course will get a bunch of bad reviews and a bad rap, so the coach keeps essentially the same program under a new name, pretending the old name never existed.
But in this instance, Mike Barron just creates a new course, with very similar material, so he gets the legacy clicks from SEO as well as fresh excitement for a new offering.
I gotta say, it’s not a bad idea.
What Does The Internet Have To Say?
Let’s hear what the people have to say:
$7500 to be an appointment setter?
“This program is a total scam and these people are criminals. The government really needs to get involved. Who charges innocent unsuspecting people $7500 to be an appointment setter when digital marketing companies train you for free? They got my $500 and every contact detail always was unreachable or disconnected.
Please anyone reading this do not lose your money on buying this fake program. I feel sorry for anyone that actually paid $7500. They will not get no more money from me and they will be getting reported to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. Omg as smart as I thought I was in this case I was a total [censored]. Normally I do my research but this time I did not and lost $500.
Word of mouth advertising is very effective so anyone that is reading this please spread the word about this man and this scam before more people get their hard earned money taken from them. I really wanted to believe the hype. You live and you learn. Smdh.”
Not good. Let’s try one more:
“I did not invest. I was tempted to, but ultimately I know to do research before investing in “get rich quick” schemes. Reading these reviews as well as others elsewhere online sealed the deal for me. The red flags I saw were first, I had to give my email and phone number before I could watch the 30 minute video. But before that, I read the comments section on Facebook that led me to the link, none seemed bad and all were asking for more info, admins were directing those to their inboxes for further info.
When I clicked the link and went to where it sent me, I instantly wondered what all those comments were even talking about, because the web page I was sent to was obviously giving me all the info I was going to need. Then I got a phone call from out of state that I promptly ignored. I knew it must be in connection to what I literally just started investing time into. I was not about to talk to somebody on the phone when I hadn’t even had the chance to watch this video that was promised to explain it all. Now I’m happy I did not answer, as I’m sure they would have aggressively tried to sell me on their scheme.
And now for the actual video.. at more than one point I wanted this guy to stop droning on about what he already made clear in the first 5 minutes. It seemed all too obvious that he was trying a little too desperately to sell me on this venture. I was a little too desperately giving him the time of day because I want to be rich…and easy like. Then I scrolled down the page while he was talking and boom, there is an initial investment…I no longer remember why I thought it would be free, the nature of how he tried so hard to sell himself quickly disabused me of any notion that this service would be anything but.
And then I saw the email for a refund if unsatisfied…it did not match the email address he stated toward the end of his video. His long winded video. I must stress to those who barely found this forum in time..or even found it naturally from already having been scammed, to just type into your chosen search engine the name of whatever you suspect, followed by “scam?” Or “fake?”. Doing that has saved me a time or few.”
Is There A Mike Barron Scam Going On?
So, is there a Mike Barron scam going on?
Not technically.
You can make money with this program, and if you want to take the first step into the world of online business/marketing, this isn’t a bad way to go.
But at the same time, sales is a job, not a business. You’re not going to reach time freedom or financial freedom if you’re always trading your time for money.
Remember, there’s a good chance you’ll be spending most of your day on the phone.
However, since you’re looking at a 50% no-show rate, you’ll also have a lot of dead time. And that’s time you can use to build a more reliable, more passive income stream.
What if you could use a couple hours a day of free time and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?
And what if you could double it next week?
Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing.
Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.
Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:
- A camper in the middle of the woods
- A beach chair on the water in Mexico
- A small villa in Greece
They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.
Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.
So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.
And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

How Much Do The Programs Cost?
The Millionaire Closer review wouldn’t be complete without pricing. Let’s dive in.
Apparently pricing was a little sketchy in the past, and is still hard to find on Barron’s main site.
Luckily, his “shop” now features everything much more plainly.
Here are some of the prices:
- Inside Closer: $1495
- High Ticket Closer Mentorship: $7500
- Sales & Closing Academy: $7500
There are a couple items for sale ranging from $19-97, but it’s important to highlight these more expensive programs.
Why?
Well, you’re learning about high-ticket sales from a high-ticket salesman…so don’t be surprised if you’re going to be pushed to buy these high-ticket items.
Now, as long as there is actual value to be found, then that’s a fine price tag. But if it’s mostly information you can find for free on YouTube – you’re out of luck, and out of money.
Mike Barron Refund Policy
“In the event that you decide your purchase was not the right decision, contact our support team. Unless we clearly state otherwise in our offer, there are no refunds for products of Limelight Media LLC and all sales are final.”
Not exactly sounding like Barron wants to give your money back!
While there is mention of a 14-day deal for some products, that is precluded by the legal language the states any refund will be decided by his team in every case.
Are There Alternatives After Reading The Millionaire Closer Review?
Yes, there are plenty of sales programs to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?
The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.
Why?
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: As a commission salesperson, you don’t own anything. You have no control over lead quality, commission rates, or even your time.
With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income as a salesperson, you’d have to double the number of calls you take OR double your close rate. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. As a salesperson, your boss might convince you that what you’re selling improves people’s lives, but in reality, you have no control over what happens once they fork over the money.
But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Mike Barron which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.

This program is definitely a scam. The closer academy is charging people$7500 for training that is so low quality it should be offered for free. His is being paid by these companies to find appointment setters and closers then going to charge you a fee to watch hours of videos that does not teach you anything. You still have to be trained on the product after losing hours of your time on low quality training. This is a total scam and very unethical on Mike Barron’s part.
I am so sorry to hear about your experience, thanks for sharing your story. Hopefully hearing this helps others. Any time someone decides to charge for training it should be high quality. Were you able to get your money back?
Ya Man. I got close to giving these guys my cash. They will say ANYTHING. I even called them out saying , Bro you better not be wolves in sheeps clothing, preying on those in Poverty and Stealing money. He assured me. Im pretty sure Barron pays Youtube to keep former students from giving him a bad rep and exposing. Watch his videos on Youtube .. they literally say nothing bit tell you to Trust the process AND they are all people who work there!! No students giving testimonials on Success. On the hows. Every video is identical with a lot of Nothing said.
Oo and Yes. You could make a lot of money probably . If Your OK selling his program and Lying to blue collar, honest folks..l
I have a young tenant who go sucked into this. (Mike Barron’s Closer Academy) Has been sending in $500 a month for “tuition” for several months now. Says he is suppose to get his first commission check soon. I told him to quit sending them money as he is being scammed.
I would like to say I’ve been scammed by Mike Barron. I was working in the Biotech industry & making $2000 a week. I was told by one of his closures I’d make more money working from home then what I was making& they made is seem so good. They were persistent on calling & trying to get me to sign up. Eventually I did… and that was my biggest mistake. After completing the academy they make you work for a month for free, and you only make 2% commission (if you make a sale) I lose my job over Mike Barrons $7500 Academy & have tried to get my money back. But they won’t give me my money back. DO NOT JOIN IT IS A SCAM! The only people who make money are his close friends no one else! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HIS PROGRAMS!
