Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Chances are you heard about Immunotec because someone - a friend or family member - introduced you to the company. Maybe you attended an online workshop or webinar, or maybe an in-person information session.

Your head’s probably spinning. This might be the first time you’ve heard about a real way to make money outside of a typical job.

So first off, congratulations!

You’ve just entered a whole new world...the world of making money on your own terms.

However, you came in through the wrong door.

Because Immunotec is - plain and simple - an MLM. Throw whatever fancy name you want on it...multi-level marketing (MLM), network marketing (NWM), direct sales, or anything else, it’s the same concept:

You pay some money upfront for the “opportunity” to sell products.

The products are typically low-quality but with high price tags (because fancy labels and stuff).

You’re told that the key to building your own successful business is selling these products to friends and family, and getting them on a subscription (so you get “monthly recurring revenue”).

Unfortunately, like most people who get taken in by these types of schemes, you’ll quickly discover that the well runs dry faster than you imagined.

After all, they make it sound really simple. “Just get 5 people you know onto this magic widget, and things will just grow from there.”

And in your head, you think “How hard can it be? I know plenty of people, 5 will be easy.”

But then you do it, and you realize people look at you like you’ve joined a cult. You’ve become “that person”, who joined an MLM, and is now trying to sell questionable products or services to everyone they meet.

It puts a strain on your relationships, and you end up stuck between two worlds.

But it’s not your fault. These companies spend millions of dollars each year figuring out exactly how to brainwash and recruit people. And that’s why we’re here.

To help you find a better way before it’s too late.

So, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Inventory
  • Selling to friends and family
  • Selling to strangers
  • Recruiting people
  • Dealing with questionable products that weigh on your conscience

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

TESTIMONIAL - Still Getting Paid

This is nothing like MLM, and that’s probably a good thing.

However, if you’d still like to know more about Immunotec, keep reading.

MLM Review: What Is Immunotec?

Immunotec is a health and wellness multi-level marketing business that sells skincare and nutritional supplements.

Their flagship product is Immunocal, a high-quality bioactive protein that aids in maintaining optimal glutathione levels.

According to the Immunotec website, the product has undergone extensive research and has been clinically proven to support a healthy immune system, aid in the development of lean muscles, and improve workout performance.

Dr. Gustavo Bounous and Dr. Patricia Kongshavn discovered the benefits of this specific protein isolate in the 1980s.

In 1996, the two scientists teamed up with network marketing veterans Chuck Roberts, John Molson, and Dieter Beer to establish Immunotec.

Today, the company has operations in countries such as Canada, the USA, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, Puru, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain.

Immunotec is one of the few MLM companies that have a (non-drug) nutritional product listed in the PDR (Physicians Desk Reference) and the Compendium of Pharmaceuticals and Specialties (CPS).

Immunotec is a Direct Selling Association member who is dedicated to ethical business practices and consumer protection. The Code of Ethics is the cornerstone of that commitment.

As a DSA member company, Immunotec agrees to follow the Code's standards and procedures as a condition of membership in the Association.

The Code ensures that member MLM companies do not make statements or promises that could lead to consumer or salesperson misinformation.

All MLM companies agree to follow the Code, which is enforced by an independent administrator with authority.

As an MLM company based on the concept of "social selling," Immunotec provides its distributors, also known as Independent Consultants, with a fully developed product line, training, marketing tools, and other support services to help them start and grow their own home-based business.

Immunotec History: How It All Started

More than four decades ago, Dr. Gustavo Bounous, Dr. Patricia Kongshavn, and Dr. Wulf Dröge, all of Montreal, Canada, discovered the role of a specially prepared whey protein isolate in raising glutathione, the body's master antioxidant.

By the mid-1990s, the scientists had formed Immunotec with the help of veteran network marketing entrepreneur Chuck Roberts, Dieter Beer, and John Molson, a member of the famous Canadian Molson family.

Immunocal, Immunotec's flagship product, has received global recognition thanks to patents issued in the United States, Canada, and other countries, and is listed in reputable medical publications, backed by official government health claims, and used by elite professional and amateur athletes around the world.

Immunotec History: Who Is Dr. Patricia Kongshavn?

Dr. Patricia Kongshavn

Dr. Kongshavn earned an Honors Degree in Natural Sciences as a Major Scholar at Cambridge University, and after immigrating to Canada, she completed her doctorate in Immunology at McGill University.

She then joined McGill University's Faculty of Medicine, where she held positions in the Departments of Physiology and Medicine before becoming a Full Professor in 1986.

Her research was supported by grants from the Medical Research Council of Canada, the National Cancer Institute of Canada, and the United States National Institutes of Health.

Her main research interests were in improving basic immune system knowledge, with a focus on cellular immunology, host/parasite interactions, and natural resistance genetics.

In the mid-1970s, she began working with Dr. Gustavo on a project to investigate the impact of various dietary proteins on immune responsiveness.

They published their first paper on this research in 1978 and worked together until 1989, co-authoring 14 papers during that time.

This research led to the discovery of a specific whey protein concentrate that controlled glutathione levels and improved immune function. This eventually led to the creation of IMMUNOCAL, a high-quality natural product.

Immunotec History: Who Is Dr. Gustavo Bounous?

Dr. Gustavo Bounous

Dr. Gustavo was born in Luserna, Italy in 1928 and received his education at the Universities of Turin and Genoa. He began his distinguished career in medical research as a Research Fellow in surgery at the Indiana Medical Center in Indianapolis, which led to his appointment as Professor of Surgery at the Universities of Sherbrooke (1973-1985) and McGill University (1985-present) (1985-1993).

Dr. Bounous received the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada medal in 1965. He was named Career Investigator of the Medical Research Council in 1968, an honor that he received again in 1993, the year he retired from McGill University.

Dr. Bounous and colleagues from the McGill University Faculty of Medicine started a new research program in 1978 to find a dietary protein source that would boost the immune defense system.

Their research resulted in the isolation and preparation of an undenatured milk concentrate that aids in the maintenance of normal glutathione levels and a healthy immune system.

Following the identification of the active ingredients in this protein mixture, Immunocal was developed as a high-quality bioactive material that was trademarked in 1993. "Discoveries are not made by scientific committees; they are made by individuals who have been lucky and persistent," Dr. Bounous later said.

Immunotec History: Who Is Dr. Wulf Droge?

Dr. Wulf Droge

Dr. Wulf Dröge is regarded as a redox pioneer because he co-authored an article on antioxidant/redox biology that has been cited over 2000 times and has authored over 10 articles that have been cited over 100 times.

The stimulatory effect of superoxide radicals and hydrogen peroxide on lymphocyte functions was one of the key discoveries in 1987, and it sparked a flurry of research into the role of reactive oxygen species, glutathione, and its precursor cysteine in physiological and pathological processes.

In patients infected with the human immunodeficiency virus, he discovered abnormally low cysteine and glutathione levels, as well as an age-related decline in the postabsorptive plasma cysteine concentration, which is thought to cause age-related oxidative stress.

He developed a theoretical concept of the mechanism of aging and death, which is outlined in his book Avoiding the First Cause of Death, and Challenging the Limits of the Human Lifespan. Antioxid. Redox Signal. 14, 2319–2323.

What Are The Products In The Immunotec Product Line?

immunotec reviews

While some companies start with a business idea looking for a product, Immunotec began as a product looking for a business to put into the hands of millions who could benefit from it.

The Immunotec product line includes a variety of multivitamin products, probiotics, Omega-3, shakes, personal care products, products that support mental alertness, weight management products, joint health, and even accessories in addition to their flagship product.

Immunotec products can be grouped into three categories:

  • The Products That Power Our Brand (Immunocal, Platinum, Booster Superfood Reds & Greens, Booster Energy, and Performance).
  • Dietary Supplement Products  (Multi + Resveratrol, Omega Gen V, Calcium-D from Milk, Daily Essentials Pack, Probio 3+ with Cranberry).
  • Specialized Products (Seren-T200, Contralenta, Toothpaste with SynerG, Magistral, and so much more)

What Is Immunocal?

This Immunotec product is a patented natural food protein concentrate from the United States that helps the body maintain optimal glutathione levels by providing the precursors needed for intracellular glutathione synthesis.

It has been scientifically proven to increase glutathione levels (Lands et al, 1999).

Glutathione augmentation is a treatment strategy for glutathione deficiency, high oxidative stress, immune deficiency, and xenobiotic overload, in which glutathione is involved in the detoxification of the xenobiotic.

Glutathione deficiency has been linked to HIV/AIDS, infectious hepatitis, certain types of cancers, cataracts, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, radiation, acetominophen and related agent poisoning, malnutritive states, arduous physical stress, and aging.

Many clinical pathologies have been linked to oxidative stress, and numerous medical references have been written about it.

Low glutathione levels have also been linked to wasting and a negative nitrogen balance, as seen in cancer, AIDS, sepsis, trauma, burns, and even overtraining in athletes. Supplementing with cysteine can counteract this process, resulting in improved survival rates in patients with AIDS, for example.

Is Immunocal FDA Approved?

The FDA has classified Immunocal as a GRAS product (generally recognized as safe).

This means that, as a natural food supplement, it is prohibited from making medical claims.

The FDA has not reviewed the statements made by the company about the product. This means this product isn't meant to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease.

Is Immunotec MLM A Legitimate Business Opportunity?

Many ask, “Is Immunotec a scam?”.

My answer is definitely a No.

Several products of Immunotec have U.S. patents, and their founding scientists are very respected and renowned in the scientific industry.

Is Immunotec A Pyramid Scheme?

Immunotec is not a pyramid scheme. Some may believe it is because Immunotec Consultants are compensated in a pyramid-like business model.

This company is not a pyramid scheme because a pyramid scheme is a program that focuses solely on recruiting new members.

Pyramid scheme companies have no products or services to sell to customers or promote to make money for their affiliates.

Network marketing (also known as multi-level marketing) is a program that includes recruitment, but it is not their only source of income.

Immunotec has products and/or services to sell, and its distributors can make money from the promotion of their products.

With that said, Immunotec is not a pyramid scheme because it sells real products that its consultants can sell to make money. It has been compared to a pyramid only because it has a pyramid-style recruitment system.

Reviews: What The Customers Are Saying

Immunotec has only 1 complaint filed in the last 3 years, and only 1 complaint in the last 12 months, on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) web page.

The complaint was an issue about a refund which did not include the shipping fee. The case was eventually resolved by Immunotec refunding the shipping fee even if the company is not obligated to include shipping expenses in their policies and procedure.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Immunotec falls short is in scalability.

There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.

MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline...you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!

Sounds too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:

  • Your upline getting paid before you
  • Begging your friends and family to buy from you
  • Recruiting people all the time

Remember Immunotec? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota...

The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Immunotec group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Immunotec, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

TESTIMONIAL - Scott Lead Gen

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Immunotec, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital Leasing allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
