It used to be that when people ran a business from home, they had to stock inventory in their garage or convert one of their rooms into an office.

But with the services provided by most of today’s technology, you can avoid some of those hassles altogether.

Heck, you could even run a home-based business from a simple little 2 bedroom apartment.

In this short review, we’ll go over some ideas for home businesses AND whether starting a home business is the right thing for you.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own home based business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

So let’s jump right into it…

What Are The Pros And Cons Of A Home-Based Business?

As I’m sure you’ve probably already guessed, a home-based business is either a full-time endeavor or something that you can do as a side hustle.

But the beauty of it is that you work at home.

A good handful of these home businesses require very little when it comes to stocking products or having employees.

But as with any type of home-based business, there are pros and cons…

Pros:

  • Small business tax write-offs
  • Very little overhead costs
  • Selling services locally, nationally, or overseas
  • Your relatives can help with your business
  • Your work/life balance is great for stay at home parents

Cons:

  • Converting space in your home for business use
  • Creating a home office for inventory if needed
  • Disrupting home life
  • You could still be subject to business regulations
  • Your business might expand beyond your home accommodations
  • Working from home can make you feel a bit lonely when you’re not around other people

So, let’s take a look at 10 home business ideas that can jump into right away…

1) Web Designer

If you have any web design experience, you could start a business either building or updating websites for your clients.

Most web designers today use tools like WordPress, Weebly, or Wix to knock out a quickly designed site.

Other web designers with coding experience may choose to build a site from the bottom up, but don’t be discouraged if you’re a web designer with more graphic designer experience than coding/web design skills.

2) Running A Daycare Home Business

If you love kids, then running a daycare business from your home could be the right fit for you.

However, you’ll want to make sure that your home is up to code and child-proof.

You’ll also to be licensed caregiver since looking after someone else’s child is a huge responsibility.

And know that communication with parents is crucial for a daycare home businesses.

3) House Cleaning

Are you like most people and have an uncanny knack for cleaning houses?

Well, maybe it’s a learned skill, LOL!

OK, let’s face it, nobody loves to clean their house, so offering a house cleaning service is definitely a way for a business to tap into a market with a lot of potential.

4) Personal Trainer

If you’re a fitness-minded entrepreneur and looking for ideas to start a business, then being a personal trainer could be ideal for you.

You could meet with your clients either at your home gym or travel to your clients’ home.

Some people even take doing business online with Zoom and Skype. Just remember that word of mouth is a great way to build a home business, so keep those clients fit and fabulous.

Now, I know you may be thinking…

“But I’m not in good enough shape to be a fitness trainer…”

I get it… but you can certainly make money with just about any type of business out there.

In fact, my #1 pick proves this.

With this home business, I have been able to create a passive, $40,000 monthly residual income all from the comfort of my home office.

5) Dog Groomer

If you care for cute little canines, then dog grooming is a great business to start on the side.

You could either do this out of your home, or you could get a van retrofitted with the tools you’ll need.

And since pet owners are in the market for other services like dog walking and pet sitting, you could propel your income through your current clients.

One thing is certain, when it comes to pet owners, they are very protective of their little fur babies.

So, be sure to provide good customer service… because word of mouth advertising can be a double-edged sword.

6) Pet Sitter

Who doesn’t love to walk their dog?

Well you would be surprised.

There’s a huge market for dog walking and pet sitting. The great thing about it is that there is very little overhead.

Maybe a good set of leashes and some dog treats.

Now you will need to go to your client’s home for pet sitting and dog walking business, so it would be a good idea to keep your clients close.

7) Photographer

There is a wide array of photography businesses that you can do from home, such as…

  •         Portrait Photography
  •         Wedding Photography
  •         Nature Photography

Some photography businesses even give lessons in photography. A great way to get new clients is to offer your initial services for free, then upsell them on the backend.

8) Join A Food Delivery Service

Have you ever worked full-time or even part-time for a Pizza delivery place?

As you know, on a busy night, you can make a boat load of cash when it gets really busy, especially on the weekends or during sporting events on TV.

But what if the pizza place doesn’t get enough orders on the rest of the nights of the week to justify hiring someone even part-time.

This is where the next great business idea comes into play…

With Food delivery, you and the restaurants get the best of both worlds.

With companies like DoorDash and UberEats, you can pick up and deliver food on your own schedule and the restaurants don’t have to worry about hiring (and/or firing) employees.

9) Drive For Uber Or Lyft

If you are taking into consideration driving for companies like Uber or Lyft, then just know that you will be required to leave home for extended periods of time and you will likely need to have a newer and more reliable vehicle that meets quality standards.

What is our top recommendation for making money from home in 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where all these other models fall short is in scalability.

You can’t realistically expect to be able to work all hours of the day at these different models, you’d run out of time.

But what if you leverage it?

With this digital real estate program, you will be getting clicks from multiple sites at every minute of the day and never have to pick up a phone once!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to answer the phone…all you have to do is get the phone to ring.

Remember all these other business models making small amounts of money in the margins?

This one actually allows you to collect big sums without being on the internet all day. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group that is so much better than any of the groups you’ll find for other models in our opinion.

This group is much more active.

Unlike these other business models, where you’re just a slave to time…these websites turn into your employees and they work 24/7. A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike these other business models, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent OFF the internet.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.
