Growth Cave Review: Introduction
You probably landed on this page because Lucas Lee Tyson is young and vibrant and you thought he might have some potential to help you grow.
Or maybe you want to ride the coattails of how he made his money online.
Sounds exciting, but how much will Lucas cost you in the end?
Is Lucas’ Growth Cave one of those sketchy online business courses?
Before we get into the details, I want to be totally up front here, so…
This Growth Cave review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.
Table of Contents
Pros: What I Liked
- It is a good business model from a reliable online marketer.
- Local marketing is good business.
- They offer good support to their clients.
Cons: What I Didn't Like
- The price of the course is high.
- Some of the digital marketing techniques they share are outdated.
- Paid advertising through Facebook ads is unpredictable.
Growth Cave is an ad agency course. The basic premise is that you’ll learn how to build your own ad agency, land clients, and get them results.
Running an agency (even though they’re a bit of a commodity nowadays) isn’t a bad way to get your feet wet in the world of online business.
That said, there are a lot of moving parts with this business model:
- Prospecting – you need to know how to find potential clients
- Sales – you need to know how to convince those clients to give you money
- Media Buying – you need to know how to run ads profitably
- Copywriting – you need to know how to tailor your ad messaging for the right customers
- Design – you need to know how to design ads/landing pages to maximize conversions
- Email Marketing – you need to know how to follow up with prospects and customers
- Automation – you need to know how to connect everything properly
Now, most course-sellers will try to make this easier on you by telling you they’ve managed to “automate everything”, offering “plug-and-play” campaigns, and “pre-built templates”.
Here’s the thing though:
Markets are always changing. They get more savvy as time goes on.
If you buy a program with thousands of other students, where everything is built out for you, there’s an almost 100% chance those templates don’t work.
Because if thousands of other students are using those exact same “plug and play” campaigns, tens of millions of people have already seen them, reducing their effectiveness.
Not to mention, with most agency programs, the templates are actually built by some virtual assistant in the Philippines or India, and have never actually been tested in real life.
And if they have, there’s a good chance they’re extremely outdated, since most programs don’t bother updating their templates after launching. The course creator gets too busy just trying to sell to more and more students, instead of focusing on quality education.
Now, here’s the most sinister part of this whole thing:
Most course creators market their agency courses as something you can do anywhere in the world. You might hear them say things like “The world is my office” or “This is a simple passive income business”.
That’s just plain false. Running an effective agency is in no way passive. Look at the list above, and remember that you can’t rely on pre-built templates. You’re responsible for every part of the process.
Does that really sound like a business you can do from a laptop on the beach?
See how this could be a problem?
Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
- Mastering 100 different roles
- Needing to be a technology wizard
- Working round the clock just to keep things from blowing up
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Real Estate.
However, if you’d still like to know more about Growth Cave, keep reading.
Who is Lucas Lee Tyson?
Lucas Lee Tyson has been into digital marketing since he was 15 years old.
He didn’t despise nor love the 9-5 job. But when he realized that there’s money in the digital marketing business, unlike an average person, this nerdy and ambitious kid had to do something, or at least try.
Aside from his internship experience, resources from Facebook and Google, he also learned online marketing on YouTube. After a successful client or two, he quit his job and started Growth Cave.
Growth Cave is a digital marketing agency helping local businesses to get new clients through Facebook ads.
His goal is to always build a profitable digital marketing agency – despite potentially questionable online business models.
Lucas’ Growth Cave introduced Productized Profits, and it is what he is most known for.
As ambitious as he is, he wants to be the biggest provider of digital marketing training and consulting on Facebook and Youtube ads in the United States within the next three years.
Why not? In the first place, he put up his marketing agency with $10 in his bank account and massive credit card debt. Nothing is impossible.
What is Growth Cave All About?
Growth Cave is a local marketing course. It involves six modules plus some bonuses for businesses to get more leads. It saves their clients the hassle of figuring out client acquisition, scaling clients, and growing the agency.
Through Growth Cave’s Productized Profits Program, Lucas helps businesses get more clients.
What is Included in the Productized Profits Program?
Productized Profits Program is a course about local marketing and how to build a successful digital marketing agency.
Module 1: Fundamentals And Foundations
In Module 1 of Productized Profits, Lucas Lee Tyson pounds on the mindset aspect of entrepreneurship.
There’s a lesson called Uniform of Failure where he talks about the everyday things people do that lead them to fail and what they should have done instead.
This part may be essential to some who are starting in entrepreneurship. Some reviews oppose the idea as they are only keen on the local marketing aspect of their training.
Module 2: Carving Out Your Niche And Irresistible Offer
After inspiring trainees and outlining the successful mindset, Lucas Lee Tyson will start to help you find your niche.
Here, they dive into usual marketing problems in a very engaging way. They discuss the common concerns people have about online business marketing.
Lucas also breaks through the preconceived ideas people have about this business model. Some of the things he talks about are digital advertising, paid traffic methods of lead generation, and Facebook and Google ads.
Part of his online training teaches and emphasizes the importance of choosing a promising niche. He shares many success stories of selecting a solid niche and how his students can position themselves to be successful.
Module 3: Your Automated Client Attraction Machine
This module talks about the different automation strategies your marketing team can employ to obtain contacts from your clients.
Lucas Lee Tyson‘s approach is to have that strategy call with clients. His main modes to contact clients are LinkedIn message, organic Facebook, and cold email. The more they send messages to clients, using his proven templates, the better.
This system seems to be successful for Lucas and many of his students.
Module 4: The Science Of Sales And Client Conversion
This module is the action part of the training that his students fear, especially those who have never made any sales yet.
But Lucas can change this mindset. He calls this part 2 Call Closure. He breaks down client calls into two parts where the client can digest and reflect on the investment offer. He finds that having two calls establishes a better client-provider relationship.
He shares samples of strategy phone calls in his online training where Lucas closes deals with clients. His students learn the techniques and can analyze the effectiveness of his methods.
Growth Cave’s principle that Lucas is driving hard on his students is that “The customer needs you more than you need them. They require your own services and products.
Module 5: Autopilot Service Delivery
This part of the training teaches you relevant tools and software for customer management, retention, and expansion.
Here, Lucas stresses the importance of maintaining a positive relationship with your customers.
Other things discussed in this module are practical things like Zapier, Loom, Google Sheets, et cetera.
Module 6: Automation, Systems, And Scaling
Module six is where Lucas Lee Tyson shares the fundamentals of scaling. For him, the best time to cut down and delegate parts of his business is when he feels that profits become secondary to time.
Time is vital to expand your own services. Lucas wants you to figure out what consumes 80% of your time and hire someone to do it for you. You can also find services online that can facilitate your processes.
You should know by this time what you should do, what you can delegate, and what software can do for you.
Lucas also stresses the importance of having a team, and they already have a database of contractors they can suggest for you to hire.
Aside from the modules, students get ClientBolt, a software that automates client acquisition. They also become a member of Mastermind Community where fellow members help and encourage one another as they meet adversities along the way. Lastly, you get support via email and access to two live calls.
Growth Cave Online Reviews
This first one ain’t so great.
Growth Cave program: $1,500
Growth Cave Elite program: $6,000
Growth Cave program gives you modules and steps on how to get started along with a complete walk-through. It is nothing that has not been said before, but it does make it easy to have all the information in a step-by-step program.
Growth Cave Elite program for $6,000 gives you exclusive access to Lucas and the Growth Cave team along with some additional features. It is a steep price! They stated the average person is getting 7-12 appointments per week based on roughly sending out 500 emails and LinkedIn connections along with using Facebook. They also stated that the average person is getting 5 clients within 45 days of using their Elite program.
My son and I bought into the program to start the digital marketing business and paid for both programs at a cost of $7,500. Not counting the additional cost of programs to run the business. We looked at the initial cost as a way to jump-start the business as we were getting direct access to Lucas and his team. This would give us an advantage in the business and allow us to hit the ground running.
With getting the Growth Cave Elite program we would be getting copy directly for Lucas and the team. We would have access to them for help and support as we needed it. They have provided support and have been mostly responsive to our communications in a timely manner.
We are getting all our copy directly from Growth Cave because we bought into the Elite program. For those who may not know what I mean by copy. Copy is the information within the correspondence. The email body, the LinkedIn and Facebook messages. Growth Cave even supplies us with the copy to follow up with any replies to try and help book those appointments. But we are still well below the average they lead us to believe.
Now here is where things are not seeming to match up. According to Growth Cave the typical open rate on emails should be 50% we are getting less than 30%. The reply rate, which is supposed to help you book the appointments, is supposed to be a 10-20% reply rate, we are getting less than 1%. We are getting the same type of numbers for the LinkedIn and Facebook connections as well. This is well below the average they had stated before we signed up with the Elite program.
We have followed the program directly. We followed their steps completely. Using the copy they have written specifically for us because we bought into the elite program. Also, we have used their feedback to make all adjustments they have suggested with all the communications but still have 0 results.
Now Growth Cave has come back repeatedly and suggested that we have to work on our conversations with potential clients in order to get better results. I would agree with that statement accept there is one BIG glaring issue, we are not getting the replies to any of the communications to even start the conversation. And this is where our issue and problem with this program comes to a peak.
This program is supposed to get you to the point of being able to have a conversation with a potential client. After that, it is on you to make the deal. But this program, especially the elite program, has never given us the reply rate that Growth Cave stated as their average or even close.
We have sent out over 3,000 emails and 3,000 LinkedIn connections and have had 6 replies in total. That is a .001% reply! They state the average reply is between 10-20%. So if the people who are running this program, where we are getting all our copy from and taking all directions from, cannot help us meet the average response rate then what good is the Elite program or the program itself.
Now to be fair, they have been working with us, but I do not think they have been listening to us. If we were getting the reply rate even close to the average and WE were not able to close the client or book the appointment, then I can accept that as the issue. But we are not even getting the reply rate close to the average.
This is less about our ability to close the deal than it is on Growth Caves ability to supply the materials that would help us be successful.
We closed the business. After 4.5 months and over $8,500 dollars invested, of which $7,500 went to Groth Cave.
Time: 4.5 Months
Sent 8,562 emails and Linkedin connections.
Open rate on emails was 27.5%. Lucas pitched average is 50% open rate.
Reply rate: .001%. Lucas pitched average rate is 10-20%.
A total of 9 replies: 3 of which asked us to stop emailing them.
ZERO appointments. Lucas blamed our conversation. We never got the reply rate to start the conversation.
Fact: Review the reviews. Every 5-star review on Trustpilot is 1 to 2 sentences with no substance.
(Almost like they are bots)
We feel it is a scam as the results did not even come close to the average and we used Lucas and his team.

What I Like About Productized Profits
1. You Get Access to Lucas. This is a good thing because it shows that he cares about the success of his students.
By being able to contact Lucas Lee Tyson, you can expedite the process that it takes to become successful.
You can get feedback almost on demand, and get help from the man himself, whenever you get stuck on anything.
2. There is a Unique Approach to This Training. Unlike many of the competing training courses, this one does not promote joining an expensive sales funnel software, just so that they can squeeze more money from you through their affiliate based structure, and I respect that.
The unique approach involves free outreach methods so that you can save as much money as you possibly can before you start making any.
3. The Training Covers Everything From A to Z. This means that even if you are a beginner, you can still make this work for you because you get all the scripts, templates, and funnels that you need to look professional.
What I Don’t Like About Productized Profits
1. Cold Outreach Yields Little Results. This means that you will have to rely on contacting a lot of people every single day, and even with the automation processes that you get access to, it can still turn into a tedious task.
2. Not Everyone Can Close Deals. At the end of the day, you will have to CONVINCE your potential clients that you have what it takes to help them, and if you are the type to freeze up under pressure, then maybe you should reconsider this business model, and look for something else.
Not everyone is made for that kind of stuff, and if you’re not, there are plenty of other ways to start an online business.
3. There is No True Formula For Facebook Ads. What that means is that running paid ads, especially on Facebook is an ever-changing topic.
Competition over there is fierce, and there is never a guarantee that you will manage to make more than you end up spending.
Top that up with the fact that they always change their rules and regulations, and there’s always the potential that you will get your ad account shut down.
Do I Recommend Productized Profits?
Maybe, and here’s what I mean by that. Productized Profits is a REAL business opportunity for anyone willing to work hard to achieve financial success online, but it’s also an expensive course.
That’s why you need to know that you can handle what’s being required from you, and hopefully, now you know what that is.
Since this is still a relatively new coaching program, this means that Lucas Lee Tyson can actually take time out of his day to personally mentor, and show you what to do.
Usually, I don’t recommend that people spend so much money on any given training course, but in this case, it may be worth it because of the unique approach that Lucas has taken with this particular business model.
The risks are big, but the rewards can be even greater, and if you know that you can pick up that phone, and close a deal, (or willing to learn), then you have a real opportunity of making something for yourself here.
If you are not up for investing that much, or you don’t feel that this is the right training program for you, then I can show you the way that I make money online, and how I started my own profitable online business.
FYI, I never get on the phone to close deals, and I don’t have to worry about customer service issues, refunds, or interacting with people. All my income is earned on a completely passive basis.
If that sounds interesting then you should see this blueprint that has helped so many people become financially free, using nothing but a laptop and an internet connection.”
How Much does Productized Profits Cost?
Productized Profits are available at $1497. Expensive? Yes.
Is Growth Cave A Scam?
Lucas Lee Tyson and his expertise in his digital marketing agency have a lot to offer.
Growth Cave as a Social Media Marketing Agency (SMMA) aims to help others build a profitable digital marketing agency.
Productized Profits, its training program has delivered a number of success stories.
The downside is the price that comes with it.
So, is Growth Cave a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as Lucas Lee Tyson makes it sound.
There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – running an agency is extremely active income (NOT passive).
Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.
But if you’re getting into this game to live life on your terms, travel the world, and generate passive or semi-passive income from anywhere, then this isn’t for you.
What if, instead, you could put in a couple hours a day (in your spare time) to build a single digital asset, and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
And what if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?
And what if you could double it next week?
Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate.
And, unlike a traditional ad agency, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.
Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.
Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:
- A camper in the middle of the woods
- A beach chair on the water in Mexico
- A small villa in Greece
They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.
Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.
So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.
And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Are there alternatives to Growth Cave?
Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:
What Is My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2023?
The ScamRisk team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With an ad agency, you don’t really own anything. You’re a hired gun for clients, and entirely at their mercy.
Sure, you own your agency, but if your business grinds to a halt once you stop working, all you really have is a self-created job.
With Digital Real Estate (a passive income stream), you own all the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income with an ad agency, you’d have to double your clients OR double the monthly payment of your existing customers. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Growth Cave which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality.
At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
