Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.
Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.
All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.
Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.
So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…
And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).
I didn’t really want to be “rich”.
The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.
Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.
I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.
Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!
Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:
I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The flashy flagship aspect of GoodLife USA is the FREE $200 VIP Club Card.

Good Life USA Compensation Plan
Basic Level members can earn from the VIP cards, shopping network, and recruitment. Personal purchases are not counted. And if you enroll new members, their fees are not counted for commissions, too.

When VIP cards are used, you earn rewards. But purchases on the VIP cards are not commissions. VIP cards give acquisition bonuses based on discounts and not on the purchase.

GoodLife USA has one of the more complicated compensation plans -- your first $60 in commissions goes straight to your enroller.

Given this scenario, it shows that GoodLife is a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Not many people are searching for this brand on Google. This indirectly shows that people are not interested in the company. As such, it will be difficult for you to sell their products.
Poor Customer Service
It’s true that the discounts are awesome, but this community has poor customer service. Some have experienced that there’s no one to talk to in case of concerns and complaints.

VIP Cards
These GoodLife VIP Cards are great in encouraging people into the company’s services. These also allow seamless purchases with your membership code.
Bottom Line: Is GoodLife USA a Scam or a Legit MLM?
It’s clear that this community is not a scam basically for using a legit MLM system that sells travel services.
I wouldn’t mind recommending it to a friend -- especially to one who enjoys travel perks and discounts.
However, with its business model, IBOs are left with no other option but to recruit more to cover expensive monthly fees. This focus on recruitment is indeed a big red flag. This somehow makes the company a pyramid scheme in disguise.
Also, in reality, only a few people are luxury travelers who can afford the hefty monthly fees. How many people can you find who are willing to spend as much on luxury travel nowadays -- other than your family and friends?
And with all the negative points I mentioned that outweigh the positives, it’s important to think twice about joining.

But when it comes to building a business, you have much better options than MLM.
