Julian Sherman & Mathieu Jang Global Affiliate Zone Review [year]

First let me say that I think it’s great that you’re wanting to improve your current financial situation, even better that you’re doing your due diligence before jumping into something blindly.

So, in light of that I would like to talk to you about Global Affiliate Zone (aka: Affiliate Institute) and whether or not it’s a scam.

Now, I know there will be a few members of GAZ that will likely read this review and have a few things to say about it, whether in favor or against.

But let me say that I do review something lightly, I try to be a thorough as one can be.

That being said…

I want you to know that I’m not GAZ affiliate member and have seen anything that’s behind the curtain. However, I have gone over 100’s of courses and products on this site, so I have a pretty good grasp on what is legit or not.

In this Global Affiliate Zone Review, we’re try to determine if GAZ really is the best Affiliate Marketing course out there.

We’ll talk about whether Affiliate Marketing is the right online business for you.

At the end, I’ll address some concerns regarding Global Affiliate Zone and Affiliate Marketing in general.

And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off Affiliate Marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

So, let’s jump in…

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Initial Personal Summary:

When you first take a look at Global Affiliate Zone, I would have to say that it's a relatively good program that's primarily designed (with with knowledge of their coaches) to help people who want to make money online with affiliate marketing. Unfortunately, I would have to say that it falls a bit short.

What is Global Affiliate Zone (aka: Affiliate Institute)?

global affiliate zone review

The makers of GAZ tout themselves as having the most thorough programs, resources and coaching call events when it comes to online marketing strategies.

At least this is what they have on their homepage.

Unfortunately, this doesn't really go into detail about the type of business it is.

The only thing that you can really determine about the company is that is an online digital business with coaching calls, training and other resources.

That's really about it.

Kind of covert if you ask me.

When you go to their website, there really isn't much information there to research or have any questions answered.

So, let me take a crack it... who knows, maybe you'll find something that I missed.

Who are Julian Sherman & Mathieu Jang?

people

Mathieu Jang and Julian Sherman are the co-founders of Global Affiliate Zone. I have to say that Mathieu and Julian certainly are experts in their craft and have spent the last few years successfully improving upon their brands and social media presence.

Recently they have been living abroad availing themselves of fine dining, fast cars and nomadic living.

How Does Global Affiliate Zone Work?

global affiliate zone login

As you may have already guessed, Global Affiliate Zone must have something to do with Affiliate Marketing.

Now, I whole-heartedly believe that Affiliate is a really great business model that has provided many people the opportunity to make money online, mostly in the form of passive income.

But with that being said...

There's something about this affiliate program that just doesn't sit well with me.

When you take a good look at GAZ, their flagship product is what they call GAZ Pro. It's a membership service priced at $99/month.

It's this membership tool that they say has taught so many people the art of making money online.

They'll tell you that their program is so finely tuned that all you have to do is get customers to the sales funnel, convert them into members, and the money will start flowing in.

Sounds a little fishy, right?

Now, far be it from to judge, but when a program starts throwing out a message like:

  • "All you have to do"
  • "Use our simple process"
  • "Money will start rolling in"

...I tend to get a little skeptical.

So What's The Catch?

business

Well, let's just say that there isn't anything extremely FRAUDULANT about the company... I mean they do have video training and coaches to help you get "your" online business up and running.

But you really nave to read between the line and understand what kind of "business" you're doing.

All you're really doing is promoting their Membership for GAZ Pro!

In fact, they even admit it...

"All you have to do on your part is advertise the GAZ done-for-you (D4U) system where we offer our services."

When somebody decides to purchase GAZ, then they pay you a 30% commission (of the $99 monthly membership fee) every month for life, or at least as long as they're still a member.

That's $29.70 month after month.

Now, I suppose if you're able to get 10, 20 or even 50 people signed up, then that could be some decent money... but I honestly can't imagine people are going to be paying that much every month for the opportunity to sign up other affiliates.

Global Affiliate Zone Underbelly Exposed!

global affiliate zone scam

1. Pyramid Scheme!

Now, I may be going out on a limb here, and I'll probably have someone call me a few choice words when I say this...

But, I'm going to take one for the team anyway.

Global Affiliate Zone is a pyramid scheme in sheep's clothing

There, I said it!

In a nutshell, a pyramid scheme is a type of program that has no actual products services. In fact, recruiting other people into the system is the ONLY way for members to actually make money.

Now, I will admit that GAZ does (in part) have products and services to sell, which is why I didn't come out and flatly say that GAZ is a pyramid scheme. I only said that it's a pyramid scheme IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

As far as the other part goes, the only way a GAZ member can make money (like with a pyramid scheme) is by getting more people signing up for the system to sell the GAZ Membership.

For example, look at MOBE and Digital Altitude.

These two programs were set up pretty much just like GAZ with "products and services" to sell.

What happened to them?

The FTC lowered the axe on them for being scams.

When you take a in-depth look at those business models, it's eerily similar to Global Affiliate Zone. Which is why I believe that GAZ is a pyramid scheme in sheep's clothing.

2. "Pay-to-Play" System

global affiliate zone reddit

Without a doubt, however, Global Affiliate Zone is at bare minimum a pay-to-play program which means that in order for you to make money, you first have to spend money.

There are many affiliate marketing programs out there that do not require you to pay anything in order to make money with their programs. When you come across one that does... my advice to keep walking.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What does Global Affiliate Zone sell?

products

On paper, Global Affiliate Zone (GAZ) is an affiliate marketer program that sells training and education.

What are GAZ’s most popular products?

membership

They only sell one product which is the GAZ Pro Membership program. In this program, you get access to sales funnels, marketing materials and sales presentations in order to hit the ground running and start making money right away.

How much does it cost to join GAZ?

information

The GAZ Pro membership costs $99 per month. As a member, when you sell a membership, you make 30% ($29.70/month) for as long as they are a member.

But at this point, I'm sure you realize there are much better programs out there that can help you make A LOT more money.

Is Global Affiliate Zone a Scam?

Scam or Legit

For the most part, it's really a matter of interpretation... at least until the FTC gets involved.

In my opinion, if an affiliate marketing company has to hide the fact that there's an MLM aspect to their business with shades of a pyramid scheme, then I'd have to say it's a scam.

Plus, keep in mind that other companies with the same business model (Digital Altitude & MOBE) have gone the way of the Dodo thanks to the FTC. Unfortunately, very few if any people were able to get their money back.

But don't people actually make money with Global Affiliate Zone?

Look, just to be clear...

Yes, many people have made way more money with the program than going the traditional route of affiliate marketing. But, don't let that be a deciding factor.

If you really want to know... there are thousands of people who make money online using these methods. In fact, many people are making millions selling crap products like this.

In fact, one of the company's upsells is to a company called Enagic, which sells a $5,000 water filter.

I just want you to know that, as a consumer, Global Affiliate Zone is really not the kind of program you should be involved with.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful online business without affiliate marketing however.

My #1 pick proves this. And unlike Global Affiliate Zone, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where Global Affiliate Zone falls short is in scalability.

You can’t realistically expect to be able to set up a bunch of different Affiliate Marketing blogs and get NATIONAL traffic to them.

It just takes too many resources (money included) for any regular person to bootstrap.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend tens of thousands to set up an affiliate blog?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can profit off LOCAL traffic to your website every single day!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about spending boatloads of money on a single traffic source to get CRUMBS in affiliate income.

Remember Global Affiliate Zone talking about their little 10% commission off a $50 product?

This one actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Global Affiliate Zone group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Global Affiliate Zone, where you’re getting maybe $5 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

TESTIMONIAL - Lance Lead Gen

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike Global Affiliate Zone, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.
