But How Did He Make His Money?

The one thing that’s well-known about ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWs) – the folks worth at least $30 million USD – is that virtually ALL of them have some part of their fortune in real estate.

Many of the more famous rich people and “celebrity entrepreneurs” actually got their start in real estate. And that’s great for them! Not so much for us…

See, more millionaires are created during recessions than any other part of the economic cycle. Which is cool, except the last real recession was 2008, when real estate prices were in the tank and you could buy a whole neighborhood with $100,000.

Now, though, real estate prices are through the roof, and interest rates are skyrocketing too. So how does the everyday person start building a massive net worth in an economy like this one?

Have you considered Digital Real Estate?

The internet’s been around for decades, but the possibility of actually owning high-value pieces of property ON the internet is fairly new.

In other words, it’s a wide open playing field…but it won’t stay that way forever.

Here’s a quick summary of how Digital Real Estate works:

You invest a little money (maybe around $100) to either purchase or build a piece of “land” on the internet.

You specifically place this “land” in a high-traffic area, where lots of people pass through (just like traditional real estate, it’s all about Location, Location, Location).

The folks who pass through your “land” all happen to be looking for a specific product or service, so you “rent” your land to a business owner who happens to offer that product or service.

The business owner pays you $500 to $2,000 a month to “rent” your Digital Real Estate, because it helps them connect with their ideal customers.

Think of it like buying a strip mall, or an office space, just on the internet, for WAAAAYYY less money and headache.

Eddie Van Halen is considered one of the most successful and well-known musicians of the 20th century. He founded the American hard rock band Van Halen with his fellow drummer and brother Alex Van Halen.

After forming in 1972, Van Halen sold more than 56 million records worldwide, with singer David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar leading the band. They were the most successful rock band of all time.

Eddie Van Halen met Valerie Bertinelli at a Van Halen show in Louisiana in 1980. They got married in 1981 and had their son Wolfgang Van Halen ten years later. Unfortunately, they split up in 2007.

He remarried in 2009 to Janie Liszewski, who was Van Halen’s publicist in 2007. His brother Alex officiated their wedding, and Wolfgang was his best man. His ex-wife Valerie Bertinelli was also there.

Just two years ago, the world lost a legend when Eddie Van Halen died on October 6 at the age of 65 from cancer.

Edward Lodewijk Van Halen was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands to Jan and Eugenia Van Halen. He has an older brother, Alex, and the Van Halen family moved to California at the beginning of 1962.

Eddie learned how to play the piano before he ever picked up a guitar. As kids, Eddie and Alex both had taken piano lessons, and although Eddie couldn’t read music, he was exceptionally smart to learn just by watching and listening.

Eddie was in fourth grade when he, Alex and three other boys formed their first band, The Broken Combs.

Before Van Halen became a big part of the music scene, Eddie and Alex Van Halen first put together the band Mammoth in 1972, but since Mammoth was already taken by another band in Los Angeles at that time, they changed it to Van Halen in 1974.

They played at well-known places like the Whisky a Go-Go before getting signed at Warner Bros.

Van Halen released their first album, “Van Halen” in 1978 and became one of the best-selling debut albums in rock music history. In the following years, they continued releasing albums such as “Van Halen II” and “Fair Warning” in 1981.

Their fourth album, “Diver Down” came out in 1982 and was on the charts in the United States for 65 weeks. Their next album, “1984” went five times platinum in less than a year.

Van Halen has made a total of 12 studio albums. “5150,” which was their first album with Sammy Hagar, “OU812,” “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge,” and “Balance,” which came out in 1995, were all number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

The band won the 1992 Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance for their song “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” in 1991.

In January 2007, Van Halen was put into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Eddie was voted the best guitarist of all time by readers of Guitar World magazine in 2012.

Eddie has made a lot of popular music, but one of his most well-known achievements wasn’t even because of Van Halen. Instead, it was the time when he played guitar on “Beat It” by Michael Jackson.
