If you’re interested in dropshipping, you’ve probably heard of Matthew Lepre. He promises to be able to help you develop a profitable 6-figure eCommerce site with incredibly low risk & begin making sales within 30 days even if you have no experience with an online business.

Is the promise too good to be true? Is Matthew Lepre a con artist? I’ve spent some time completing an extensive study to assist you in delving into his course, eCom Warrior Academy.

This review will go over Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy to see if it really is the best dropshipping course out there.

You’ll learn whether dropshipping is the right online business for you.

Now, just to be completely transparent here…

This eCom Warrior review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

And at the end, you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy and dropshipping in general.

But most importantly, you’ll see the exact system many others have used to build their own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made them swear off dropshipping for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!

Table of Contents

1. Who Is Matthew Lepre?

Matthew Lepre is an Australian entrepreneur. Matthew claims to make six figures a month from building successful eCommerce businesses.

Matthew appears to be no different from other gurus in that he claims to have found success in a short period of time.

What concerns me about his claims is that he claims to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to develop a formula that worked for him. If he claims to be broke, where did all this money come from?

Matthew is quite active on social media. However, the videos on his YouTube account that I discovered are not really educational. They are vlogs about his lifestyle and travel.

2. Where Does Matthew Lepre Live?

Matthew Lepre has been back in Australia, working on a new training program to show individuals how to make six figures from home with various types of online enterprises.

3. Is eCom Warrior Academy Free?

No. eCom Warrior Academy is not a free training. The course will set you back $4,000. At least that’s the price I see most commonly reported online.

4. What Is Matthew Lepre Selling?

Matthew Lepre currently earns more than $120,000 a month from his e-commerce sites, which sell a variety of beauty products for men & women, as well as educational books.

According to him, he knew there was a demand for it because a lot of students struggled to locate resources. He himself struggled to find tools to help him when he first started.

5. What Is Matthew Lepre Business?

eCom Warrior Academy’s founder and CEO is Matthew Lepre. He focuses on encouraging people to break free from the 9-to-5 grind through eCommerce. He teaches people about the e-commerce business and assists them in setting up their own e-commerce store and making a lot of money. Today, several people reach out to Matthew to learn more about setting up an e-commerce business.

6. What Can You Expect To Learn In The eCom Warrior Academy?

This training is intended for people who are new to dropshipping. If you are already familiar with dropshipping, you won’t gain anything from eCom Warrior Academy.

As a newbie, you may learn how to create up a Shopify dropshipping store from scratch and utilize social media marketing to drive traffic to your website from Matthew. Branding, shipping & logistics, and customer service are also popular subjects.

As with other online training programs, you will have lifetime access to the course videos and subsequent updates.

Matthew Lepre decided to build up an education program for novices and those suffering from their eCommerce business & need a coach to assist them in sorting things out after being in the field for some time and having had fantastic success in his eCommerce business.

Let us move on to the next part of my eCom Warrior Academy review to see how much it will cost you to get into Matt Lepre’s program.

9. How Much Does Matthew Lepre's Course Cost?

The minimum investment necessary to have access to Matthew Lepre’s training is $4,000.

Expensive, right?

I believe that this course is expensive compared to other similar training programs in the Dropshipping or eCommerce industries that provide courses at a lower cost of entry than this one.

But, because he didn’t provide any information other than the basic stuff on his course, I can’t say whether it’s a good value for money. You’d have to get on a phone call for that.

I know that he has been successful in this field and has some essential information to share with you. Is it worth the price?

If you’re a beginner and you’re dead set on dropshipping…it might help. But as you’ll see later, dropshipping isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

10. Is Dropshipping Business Still A Viable Business Model In 2021?

What I can tell you that the dropshipping business model has become increasingly difficult. If you want to establish a six-figure dropshipping business, you’ll have to put in some sweat, blood, and tears to figure out how it works.

Here are some of the reasons why I would not endorse dropshipping:

Financial risk

If you don’t advertise, your dropshipping store will not sell anything.

Also, the cost of Facebook ads is growing and will eat away your profits.

It could take weeks or probably months to just break even before you notice any profit.

In other words, dropshipping requires a large financial risk.

Facebook advertising is expensive and difficult to set up

Based on the findings of most dropshippers, the total Facebook ad expenditure should account for at least 30% of your overall sales.

However, Facebook advertising is rarely effective for an extended period. When your ad has exhausted the viewers, it is no longer effective.

Your total revenue will be significantly lower, and you may even incur a net loss.

According to Forbes, Facebook’s ad expenses increased by 90% year on year.

Worse, the learning curve for Facebook ads is particularly steep because Facebook’s algorithm changes all the time. You must devote plenty of time and money to learning and testing Facebook Ads.

If you run Facebook ads without prior expertise, your ad account will be suspended for breaking Facebook’s rigorous regulations…which increase every day it seems.

Customer service

Dropshipping business model requires a significant amount of effort spent communicating with suppliers and dealing with customer support.

If your client has a problem with the product, you must wait for your supplier to assist you. If your supplier is unhelpful, you must suffer the loss on your own. As a result, many dropshipping stores have negative customer reviews and no returning customers.

In the worst-case scenario, you should expect a high number of credit card chargebacks, which could result in your payment gateway being shut down.

A lot of time is spent on product research

To keep your store profitable, you must always locate a product that can become viral to cover the expenditures of advertising.

Most dropshipping products achieve their peak in 1-2 months, if not weeks. This is because numerous competitors will steal your product and produce a better advertisement. Or boost their Facebook ad spending to outbid you.

As a result, you must continue to identify fresh substitutes to generate cash flow.

People may post revenues online and have success stories, but they do not always disclose the profit.

Some of them may be profitable, but it is not sustainable.

The dropshipping business concept is not as passive as you would believe.

Most individuals who thrive at dropshipping do so full-time because it demands you to constantly source new products, open new stores, try different marketing, and seek out new suppliers to maintain a consistent income.

Can You Make Money With eCom Warrior Academy?

Yes, you can make money through a successful ecommerce business! But contrary to popular belief, dropshipping will not give you a PASSIVE income online. It involves a lot of work!

Like affiliate marketing, there’s a lot that comes along with dropshipping that many people struggle with.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea…

It’s not impossible to make money with dropshipping, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust us, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket many online businesses to over $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Is eCom Warrior Academy A Scam?

No. The eCom Warrior Academy is not a scam in and of itself. However, I do not suggest this course for two reasons:

First, Matt didn’t say much about his training. Personally, before I go into something that involves an investment, I want to know what I get for my money.

The only way to find out what you’ll get for your money is to schedule a call with him.

Second, the course is prohibitively pricey. And, in my opinion, if you’re just starting out, spending money on training while also knowing you’ll have additional expenses relating to your business, such as tools and a marketing budget, takes guts.

In fact, you will incur additional costs such as a domain name, a shopping store fee, and so on.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful dropshipping business… But there are better ways to build a business other than with dropshipping.

Our #1 pick proves this.

Because unlike Dropshipping, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

Is eCom Warrior Academy Legitimate?

Yes, Matthew’s mentorship program is definitely legitimate and you can learn a thing or two from it for sure. However, this online course is pretty expensive.

But, when it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options and we have a better business model below.

And even if you’re dead set on becoming a dropshipper, you’ve got way better options than Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy.

Keep in mind, we don’t get paid to promote any of the programs we review. We personally think dropshipping is a great business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.

What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2021?

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Real Estate!

Where Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy falls short is in scalability.

You can’t realistically expect to be able to make passive income when you have to watch your store and manage ads all day.

But what if you leverage it?

With this digital real estate program, you can have the ability to completely walk away from the laptop because there is no ad management!

Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to answer the phone…all you have to do is get the phone to ring.

Remember Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy and all the small profit margins?

This one actually allows you to collect that without being on the laptop managing a store all day. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy, where you have to run ads all day and worry about getting a $5 profit off a $50 product 1,000 times over…. A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.

Unlike Matthew Lepre’s eCom Warrior Academy, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent OFF the laptop.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.

I am a former student of Matthew Lepre’s program and I would like to share my experience. I felt their service was unjust. I was simply interested in their program and cost so filled up some detail. I got a call from a guy named “Josh”, he was a good salesman and persuaded me to join them on the spot. He told me that the success rate of their students is high, almost no one fails and they also offered 90 days money guarantee. 2 months passed i did not see results, i followed their guides step by step, wasted so much money on FB ads, shopify etc, and i asked them if i can get a refund because i am financially struggling and seeing no result from their supports. NO REPLIES! 90 days passed and i sent another email and they told me that they cannot give me a refund because they do not care about my circumstances and also had to pay 800$ to cancel the membership. They promised people 90 days money back guarantee and when the time comes, they come up with all these excuses and agreements to NOT GIVE YOU MONEY. I spent over 2000$ on their program and i wasted 1000$ on FB ads for no sale. This is the reality. I saw many students who had the same experiences as me and i wished someone told me about this.

  2. Just wanna shoutout the review above mine for saving me a lot of money

  3. I got sucked in by a guy called Josh who told me that students do really well in the course and that only one student had been unsuccessful. He misled me and no doubt has misled others. It’s very difficult to get a refund. I wasted 3.5K on the course and a further 1.5K on other expenses, namely FB ads, and got appalling results. I even tested their shoddy handpicked products. STAY AWAY from this dodgy business.

  4. Had a similar experience in that ‘Josh’ told me that all students do well in the course except for one student who hadn’t. Only one student who didn’t succeed! That’s a 99% success rate! What BS! I tested their handpicked products, followed the course material closely, constantly engaged with the mentors and my stores still failed. They mislead students then make it difficult to get a refund. The refund policy has conditions attached and very difficult to execute. STAY AWAY from these people. They engage in dodgy practices.
