It’s another one of those making money online programs that is centered around selling a clapped out course that supposedly makes you money by selling shitty products from China.
But hey, if you wanna risk throwing your life savings into a business model that just got wrecked by Chinese Wholesalers…
Then by all means, don’t let us stop you from creating yet another screw up your parents give you shit about.
It’s supposed to show you how to become a 6-figure ecom king…but it’s truly out of reach for most people like you constrained by budgets and student loans.
That’s just the truth…you won’t get rich by chasing the next hot product that only lasts 3 months.
And while we have to be honest for this review…
Ecom Kings does come with some very helpful information to make money online and land some massive ecom profits…
But it’s outdated AF!
At the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Ecom Kings and pussy footin’ around with selling chinese products in general.
And most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.
This system made me swear off Ecom Kings for good, because it uses some of the same skills but in a much more powerful and profitable way!
But more on that later.
For now let’s hop into all things Ecom Kings!
Mohamed Kamil Sattar was born May 10, 1999. He is a popular British E-commerce entrepreneur coined as “The Ecom King.”
Sattar became the youngest Forbes Business Council member in history. He made this possible just before his 21st birthday.
If that’s not impressive, I don’t know what is! And as you might have guessed, Kamil Sattar’s net worth is enormous for someone his age.
Kamil Sattar founded and partnered with over three companies in different fields – from luxury goods to digital media, and dropshipping to e-commerce. Kamil’s companies made more than $3,000,000 in total net sales.
For the past two years, business owners together with their staff have been under his mentorship with whom he shares his expertise in e-commerce. Sattar has been actively involved in the industry since 2016.
It would appear that he has helped several businesses scale to 6-7 figures in revenue. And for this reason, The Ecom King’s net worth has increased significantly in a relatively short amount of time.
There is no website for Ecom King (although Sattar does have one under his name.) Everything points to his YouTube channel if you’re looking for his instructional materials.
The product’s Instagram page has 21.8k followers, which is a decent following. This is, however, a small number compared to successful dropshipping gurus and experts out there.
Based on Kamil’s various social media profiles, he was a graduate of Shrewsbury College in 2016 at the age of 17, after completing a two-year Merit BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.
That means Sattar met the minimum requirements and so in 2014, he began his Diploma at only 15! It’s not surprising then that at the age of 18 in 2017, Kamil began Ecommerce Mentoring.
That is just insane! In the business world, he could play the role of Sheldon.
Let’s take a closer look at the course outline and see for ourselves whether it’s just the industry protégés that can make big bucks in the dropshipping, or if it can be possible for ordinary people like us.
It really doesn’t take long to realize that Kamil Sattar isn’t your usual dropshipping mentor. From the very start, I noticed some great signs about this guy.
In the eCom King program, you are going to learn the fundamentals of the dropshipping business model and the ecommerce business in general to give you a solid foundation of the industry.
You are going to learn how to identify winning products and vendors. Branding and App selection for your Shopify store are also covered in the course.
Sattar spends a significant amount of time on marketing. He discusses this subject in detail, as well as, gives you advice. The module focuses on only two ways, however – email marketing and SMS.
You are given the necessary tools and tips on how you can produce one-of-a-kind videos including thumbnails that could potentially set your product and store apart from the competition.
Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager setup is provided. You’ll also get to know how your Facebook Ads can be launched, tested and scaled.
Finally, Kamil demonstrates a flawless method how to get influencers to promote your product.
If you have any experience or know about Influencers, you’d know what I’m talking about. It’d be easier for you to herd cats than get those influencers to respond to you.
You’ll learn how to persuade them to respond – willingly.
But first, download the free cheat sheet because there is a lot of information in this lesson, and some are discussed very briefly.
This will make everything so much simpler and would be particularly useful for people who are more prone to being distracted and confused.
This part introduces the course and the business model. It also provides you with an overview of Shopify dropshipping and eCommerce in general.
Kamil recommends starting with about $1k.
He also discusses the amount of money you need to spend as well as how you spend it. I do think this is going to help you in a lot of ways especially if you’re a newbie because this is when many beginners get overwhelmed and confused.
As a review team…we agree that we don’t see $1,000 really being enough to start your ecommerce biz. Realistically you’ll be closer to $5,000.
Half of that will be used to buy product and the other half for ad spend.
Not to mention it will literally take at least 6 months to do your full launch and see results (if any).
If you’re looking for something that you can get started in right away, see results in weeks instead of half a year, and only cost a couple hundred bucks to get started at most…
Section 2 teaches you how you can find a profitable product. Here, he talks about the various niches that he thinks are the best in the market.
If you land on the wrong suppliers, you are up to some big trouble. That is why, in this section, Kamil teaches you how you can find, not just any supplier, but a good one.
Section 3 gives you the link to Kamil’s recommended list of vendors, including 300 more.
When looking for a supplier, there are things you need to consider before deciding on one. Below are Kamil’s criteria for suppliers:
In section 4, Kamil discusses store name selection and branding. He also talks about the following:
Section 5 provides you with a guide to every one of Kamil’s apps which is needed to efficiently run your eCom store.
These apps are for the following functions:
Just keep in mind that these apps are not free of charge.
In section 6, Kamil takes you deeper with marketing campaigns. Here, you will be taught how an email marketing campaign works and how you can effectively run it.
Things like which clients should be in your email list, the content of your email, and the timing are going to be discussed here.
The various client types and the circumstances that come when dealing with each one are covered in this section.
Sattar explains how you can connect your clients to your SMS campaign and tells you the perfect time to send them.
You will also be given a cheat sheet using simple copy and paste options.
Section 8 teaches you how to create video ads, including text, filters, colors, and effects. He also discusses here about the importance of having multiple ad copies run simultaneously.
Kamil walks you through the setup of your Facebook Business Manager, as well as some useful advice about your profile can be maximized.
He also teaches you how you can improve the efficiency of your Ads manager columns. Kamil demonstrates how you can launch Facebook Ads using his own strategy.
You will be guided through the entire process of:
If you’re curious how to get started with dropshipping, then pay close attention…
Kamil drops loads of information, so it would take some time to apply the techniques.
But the thing is you won’t have any form of support, like a Facebook group to exchange ideas with… so you’d have to be cool with learning on your own
Nonetheless, if you run into a snag, you can schedule a consultation call any time.
In my opinion, Kamil’s expertise here is better than the majority of dropshipping gurus whose courses are mostly expensive.
In terms of the value you get from a free course like Kamil’s, that’s just unbeatable.
There is a lot to get started with, such as choosing a product, creating a store, including using Facebook Ads.
It’s not always that you hear someone tell you upfront that dropshipping isn’t easy and overnight success is just not possible with this type of business model.
Kamil’s advice, in fact, is to put down a minimum of $1,000 to launch your dropshipping career. Otherwise, it’s not going to be worth it.
Kamil is honest when it comes to the amount of investment needed to start in this dropshipping business and the likelihood of success in the first year… which isn’t much.
In fact, take a look at the top 5 reasons why dropshippers fail.
Furthermore, he emphasizes that it would take up to 3 years to see the amount of money you’re actually going to make, plus a lot of self-learning in between.
But what he didn’t mention is the need to get money for your vendors.
The majority of the ecommerce training courses overlook the fact that you would need to purchase the goods from your vendors before selling them to your clients.
You need to be highly cautious about those offering a course when they don’t have sweat equity in the business model any longer.
Now, take a moment to think about that.
There’s an explanation for it, and statistics show that most of them ultimately sold their businesses and got out of the industry completely.
Sattar and his team are actually in the dropshipping business themselves!
So, you’re probably wondering why they might want to reveal their secrets despite the fierce competition in the industry.
I’d rather put my trust on these people to get ahead of the game than on a self-professed guru whose focus is solely on his mentoring service and selling his courses.
If you’ve ever worked in the dropshipping business, you’ve definitely read about the 4th quarter.
eCom King has also given training video – free of charge – how to run a dropshipping store during the busiest sales season.
Kamil is also forthright on whether or not you are putting yourself up for failure by attempting to compete.
Specifically, if your finances are not large enough to cover for Q4, it’s not a smart move to pursue in the game.
Ad spending is considerably higher, supply chains strained, competition fierce, and you definitely don’t have much time to sort out your vendors.
In other words, he comes off as someone who is actually working to support others rather than just giving his opinions or hyping people up.
Sattar states that it takes about five days to create these courses, so I applaud him for making a Q4-specific YouTube video provided that the majority of the factors in dropshipping are different from the rest of the year.
Everyone in their right mind would admire him for creating such an absurd amount of knowledge for free!
Of course it’s just totally fair that he’ll throw in lead magnets or affiliate links here and there.
This is pretty acceptable in the world of online business, so you need to get used to it
It’d be useful to have access to a community of users and like-minded people and connect with them as social proof.
But then again, the entire course is free so I can’t really complain.
There has been a lot of discussion about how much eCommerce evolved since the pandemic started in 2020.
It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful dropshipping business, but there are better options.
Because unlike The e Com King, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.
Sure, whether you’re Amazon, Walmart, Target, or another big name, the Covid 19 outbreak aided in shifting further purchasing preferences online.
And as such, consumers are increasingly purchasing goods online rather than in physical stores.
However, with so many eCommerce stores now to compete with, the dropshipping business model has a lot more hurdles to clear.
On Shopify alone, there are more than a million stores already. We haven’t yet gotten started with the other eCommerce sites like Amazon FBA.
When there is fierce competition, any store would be willing to drop their prices just to bring in more sales.
Take a look at this, for example. These figures are from 2020, so it’s likely that they’re much smaller now.
It’s no surprise that profit margins have declined, and most of the stores are fortunate if they generate $1,000 in a year.
In dropshipping, it’s extremely tough to find reliable information about actual earnings. We’re talking about money that goes straight to your account to cover your bills and daily expenses.
Another thing that is just getting started to take place and has the potential to destabilize the eCommerce landscape is Apple’s latest privacy alerts on IOS 14.
Yes, users have always had the choice to opt out of data tracking.
I don’t think many users care because for starters, it isn’t clear how much they are being tracked by companies like Facebook.
They would be horrified when information that shows the amount of data our Facebook friends gather appears on their phone, even well after we have stopped scrolling through our Facebook feed.
But what is it for dropshippers?
You see, Facebook monitors their users in order to learn about all of their preferences and collect as much data as possible in order to build an accurate picture of the kind of person you are, what your motivations are, and the rest of your interests in life.
Facebook will either market this information or use it to serve targeted advertisements.
Drop shippers would not be able to target interests and demographics with the same degree of precision. It will result in less successful advertisements for your product.
I do think it’s about what’s coming for Facebook. I mean, many people would be disgusted, for sure, to hear how much of their online activities Facebook has spied on for years.
That’s how people like Mark Zuckerberg have amassed vast fortunes.
Did you know his net worth is reportedly projected to be $90 billion?
I’m pretty certain some consumers like targeted advertising and don’t care to serve as pawns in the marketing industry’s winner-take-all game.
If you’re about to start a new dropshipping company, it’s well worth your time to watch this guy for a little more than 4 hours and 20 minutes.
While it isn’t that comprehensive as other dropshipping courses, it pretty much includes the fundamentals and even gives you cheat sheets, a supplier list, and some cool live tutorials.
The course provides you with a step-by-step guide in dropshipping. The basic information is laid out which is perfect for someone who is just starting in the drop shipping business.
Since it is such a brief course, it’d be best to use it as a checklist for your store.
His content is not exactly new or unique. I’m pretty sure you have come across other dropshipping courses before that are more encompassing than this.
Fortunately, Kamil makes no mention of producing a ‘quick buck.’ He’s telling the truth when he explains how this business model takes time, and which only a phony guru might claim otherwise.
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where e Com Kings falls short is in scalability.
You can’t realistically expect to be able to make passive income when you have to watch your store and manage ads all day.
But what if you leverage it?
With this digital real estate program, you can have the ability to completely walk away from the laptop because there is no ad management!
Sound too good to be true?
Of course it does!
But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business like:
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now?
That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to answer the phone…all you have to do is get the phone to ring.
Remember e Com Kings and all the SMALL PROFIT margins?
This one actually allows you to collect that without being on the laptop managing a store all day.
Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the e Com Kings group in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike e Com Kings, where you have to run ads all day and worry about getting a $5 profit off a $50 product 1,000 times over…. A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike e Com Kings, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent OFF the laptop.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions… So, check this out to learn more.
