It can be tough to choose the right multi-level marketing business to work with. There is always someone who will try to recruit you on one hand, and try to discourage you on the other.
I’ve been on the receiving end of those recruitments and have also been the one doing the recruiting.
The reality is that there is no such thing as one single best MLM business for everybody.
What works for one person will not work for another, and that is just the way it is.
One individual may enjoy makeup/beauty MLMs, while another does not and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Another individual would benefit from weight-loss MLMs, while another would benefit from a weight-gain product instead.
For today’s report (as I did in my last MLM review on Young Living), I will be focusing on another essential oil company, dōTERRA.
For those who are not aware, the global essential oils market was estimated at $7.03 billion in 2018 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.65% from 2019 to 2026, reaching $14.6 billion by the end of 2026.
So anyway, as I was saying earlier, we’re going to do some doTERRA reviews to decide if it really is the best MLM business out there.
We’ll talk about whether multi-level marketing is the right online business for you.
And at the end, I’ll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding doTERRA and multi-level marketing in general.
But most importantly, I’ll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.
This system made me swear off MLM for good because it uses some of the same skills but does it in a much more powerful and profitable way!
DōTerra is a company headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, United States, that sells essential oils and other related products through a network of over a million independent Doterra sellers around the world called Wellness Advocates.
Former employees and executives from Young Living and other network marketing companies, led by David Stirling, Dr. David Hill, and others established a company in 2008 and named it DoTerra, a Latin word which means “Gift of the Earth”.
DoTERRA currently has offices in 17 countries in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, in addition to the United States.
In addition to its oils, which are used by both consumers (like your family) and health care providers, the company also sells oil-infused products, such as personal care and spa products, dietary supplements, and healthy living products.
It has approximately 3,000 employees in the United States.
When you learn more about dōTERRA in this report, you will see that the strategic approach of the company revolves around two major objectives:
The company was founded with a social enterprise mentality, according to Emily Wright, the company’s Founding Executive and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“DoTERRA’s central mission is to improve the lives of its customers through natural products and education,” she said.
The company has two social initiatives, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation (HHF) and the supply chain program known as “co-impact sourcing,” which was initiated in 2013, have also contributed to the company’s social purpose.
The doTERRA Global Corporate Headquarters is located in Pleasant Grove, Utah, United States.
It is a spectacular example of the company’s phenomenal growth and potential.
The campus, which spans over 610,000 square feet and is open to the public, is home to doTERRA’s 3,000 corporate employees.
DoTERRA essential oils are extracted in two ways: The Steam Distillation process and Expression.
A low-heat steam distillation process is the most common way of extracting essential oils.
Pressurized steam is circulated through plant material in this process.
The plant’s natural oils are released and taken out by the steam.
The water and oils separate automatically as the steam cools, and the oil is collected.
Temperature and pressure must be carefully controlled to ensure the best quality oil extract with the right chemical composition.
The oil would not release if there is insufficient heat or pressure; if there is excessive heat or pressure, the oil’s composition and potency will be compromised.
Expression, also known as “cold pressing,” does not use heat, unlike steam distillation.
Oil is extracted from the product under mechanical pressure in this process.
All of doTERRA’s citrus oils, namely Wild Orange, Lemon, Lime, Bergamot, and Grapefruit, are extracted from the rind using expression.
The demand for Doterra essential oils is largely driven by the strong trend of “green” consumerism, as well as the growing appeal of natural ingredients for use in food preservation and sensory aspects.
When it comes to product research, today’s buyer is much more savvy, especially in light of recent Doterra reviews about the risks of different chemicals and the use of artificial additives in our foods and household products.
Simply put, people are becoming more interested to purchase natural, holistic, and healthy alternatives to the products they consume. Sure your family is no exception.
Essential oil enthusiasts love the fact that these potent organic compounds are all-natural and can be incorporated into a variety of health, wellness, and skincare products.
DoTERRA has done a better job than other companies at capitalizing on this new mega-trend.
We’re not just referring to rubbing tea tree oils onto the skin or diffusing doTERRA Lavender oil from an aromatherapy diffuser.
It’s an entire line of essential oil-infused items, including shampoo, deodorant, skin cleansers, lotions, nutritious shakes, and dietary supplements (for adults and children), among other things.
They also have the doTERRA Kid’s Oil Collection, which is made up of gentle blends that are said to be suitable for children of all ages.
These kid’s oils are intended for use under the supervision of an adult. Keep these products out of reach of children under the age of three.
Numerous studies on essential oils and their therapeutic properties have been conducted. But, despite these studies, scientific research is still fairly young.
And, as far as I’m aware, none of DoTERRA’s oils have been included in any studies. However, according to customer reviews, there’s no reason to think they wouldn’t work.
The brand would not have been as well-known if the oils were of poor quality. Some people are doubtful about the assertions made on their products as being “therapeutic grade essential oils”.
For instance, there isn’t any evidence to suggest that their Onguard oil will help improve immunity.
But it isn’t because they have been proven false.
It’s just that no trials have been completed yet.
For so many years, practitioners of folk medicine, such as that of the Ayurvedic and Ancient Chinese Medicine systems, have promoted alternative health practices such as the use of essential oils.
They are repeatedly shown to be right.
Now that Western science is catching up with them, they are realizing that folk medicine, when used as part of a larger plan, can be very beneficial.
DoTERRA developed the CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade procedure to guarantee quality standards that each bottle of essential oil is pure and free of toxins, synthetic fillers, or pesticide residues.
To ensure accountability, the CPTG procedure involves a thorough inspection of each batch of oil, as well as third-party testing.
DoTERRA starts the CPTG testing procedure shortly after distillation, which involves examining each oil’s chemical composition.
The second round of testing is performed at the doTERRA production facility to guarantee that the oils distilled and tested in the first round are the same ones that arrived at their facility.
Before the oils are packed into bottles and delivered out to customers, a third study of the chemistry of the oils is undertaken.
Each test verifies that the essential oils are free of toxins and that there have been no unexpected changes throughout production.
In this report, we can say that whether or not doTERRA is a pyramid scheme is really just a matter of opinion.
According to Wikipedia…
“A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members by promising payments or services in exchange for enrolling new members into the scheme, rather than providing investments or product sales” .
Members are not purely reliant on recruiting for income because the business has a legitimate product to sell.
We can’t label this company as a pyramid scheme just because some aggressive doTERRA Wellness Advocates (who the company can’t always control) push ethical margins when recruiting.
Furthermore, the products are of exceptional quality and undergo extensive testing to ensure their purity.
That really is a lot of investment and effort to develop and grow their products.
Therefore, while many people believe all MLMs to be pyramid schemes, dōTERRA is not one.
Based on the company, it is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful MLM business.
However, people tend to have better success with business models that don’t involve MLM.
And unlike DoTERRA, it actually provides real proof of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.
There’s a lot that comes along with MLM that many people struggle with.
In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Most Network Marketers Fail.
Now, don’t get me wrong…
You can certainly make money with Network Marketing, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.
To answer that, let us take a look at their compensation plan.
In terms of compensation plans, Wellness Advocates, distributors, or prospected business opportunity participants can make money with doTERRA in four different ways:
The unilevel bonus is where true residual income is found. DoTERRA is unique amongst rival businesses in that the percentage of the unilevel commissions increases as you move down the ranks.
The Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) is a recurring monthly order. You can conveniently tailor your monthly order, earn points, get free products, and qualify for bonuses with it.
Below are quick facts about the doTERRA Loyalty Rewards Program:
Below are some customer ratings on doTERRA’S Lavender essential oil.
(Out of 3,711 customer reviews, 87% gave 5-star ratings, 7% gave 4-star ratings, 3% gave 3-star ratings, 1% gave 2-star ratings, and 2% of the customer reviews gave a 1-star rating.)
The following are a couple of customer reviews that you can find on Amazon.com.
With the amount of time I’m now spending at work, I’m in desperate need of some downtime when I get home. After some research, I decided to purchase both the doTERRA Lavender Essential Oil, 15 ml, and the Silent Mind Antique Design Tibetan Singing Bowl Set With Mallet & Silk Cushion For Meditation, Chakra Healing, Prayer, Yoga, and Mindfulness Perfect Gift. I dab a little amount of the oil on my temples, hit the singing bowl a few times, and close my eyes. I will open them feeling fully cleansed of the day by the time the bowl has finished ringing. Though it isn’t overpowering, it is the most authentic-smelling lavender essential oil I’ve bought. It makes it so easy for me to fall asleep, and it’s also perfect in the water!
I can only use Doterra essential oils. For several years, I worked for Doterra. I’m a reiki practitioner and natural fitness and wellbeing consultant. In contrast to most other brands, Doterra’s purity and efficacy are unrivaled. It’s true that a little goes a long way. You can smell the difference even with scent, so whether you’re using it topically or with other herbal therapies, Doterra is the way to go. Lavendar is something I put in lotion with cbd and their peppermint oil, and it helps with muscle pain and relaxation. It’s ice hot in a normal way. Lavendar also aids in my sleep and reduces my anxiety. Doterra is the very best! It isn’t the cheapest, but as I previously said, a little goes a long way and it works wonders.
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where DōTerra falls short is in scalability.
There’s only so much time in a day and there’s only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.
MLM companies know this!
Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one man/woman show.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?
With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!
Sound too good to be true?
Of course it does!
But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:
But as it is with DōTerra… You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…
The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the DōTerra group in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike DōTerra, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike DōTerra, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital Real Estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
