Dean Holland Review ([year] Update): Are His Tips Really The Best For Building A Successful Online Business?

Dean Holland is an affiliate marketer based out of the UK.

His main product is the Internet Profits Affiliate Program, so you'll find this is just as much an "Internet Profits Review" as a review of Holland himself.

You probably found out about him before coming here, but I'm sure you still have some questions like...

...what's actually inside this internet marketing course? And how much does it all cost, anyway?

Let's find out.

DISCLAIMER:

This Dean Holland review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Dean Holland is well-known in the UK
  • Possible to make money with his tips
CONS
  • Price may outweigh the value received
  • Affiliate marketing is oversaturated
  • Plenty of better alternatives

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

In this Dean Holland review, we’ll dive deeper into the pros and cons of the program.

But before that, let’s ask ourselves: Is affiliate marketing even a worthwhile business model?

On the one hand, the promise is great…

You don’t have to create products, worry about fulfillment, customer service, or bad reviews.

Your only job is to get the right customers in front of the right offer, and take a commission when they buy.

And – theoretically – you can do it all in an hour a day from the beach.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, not really. Driving traffic (that’s internet speak for getting customers) is single-handedly the hardest part of the entire marketing process.

Later in this review, we’ll talk about all the different skills you need to drive traffic successfully.

For now, let’s just say the promise doesn’t really match up with reality.

At best, affiliate marketing is a job. You’re working for someone else, selling their products, and at any time, they can change your commission structure or block you from selling their stuff entirely.

In this business, you don’t really own or control anything. Since – for the most part – you’re driving traffic (again, the hardest job of all) and sending it to someone else, you don’t even get to keep the customers, who are the most valuable piece of the puzzle.

At worst, affiliate marketing is a pyramid scheme. There are certain – ahem – programs that charge you a monthly “membership fee”, under the guise that you will learn how to be a “wealthy affiliate marketer”.

Once you join, however, you find out the only way to really make money is by being an affiliate for that program.

That’s pretty much the textbook definition of a pyramid scheme.

Now, let’s say you really want that hour-a-day-work-from-the-beach lifestyle.

Living The Beach Lifestyle

What if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours before seeing your first dollar
  • Doing all the hard work of driving traffic to only get a tiny commission
  • Running your business on someone else’s terms

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day testing, tweaking, and risking your money in the hope you can finally start making sales?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

Still Getting Paid

This is like taking all the good parts from affiliate marketing (however few there are), and putting aside all the bad.

However, if you’d still like to know more about Dean Holland, keep reading.

Who is Dean Holland?

who is dean hollandHave you seen Dean Holland popping up in search engines, pitching his high-ticket affiliate program?

Are you searching for ways to earn an online income - or perhaps specifically for information about Dean Holland?

Well, you're not alone. This guy is good with the sales pitches, even if he uses pictures that look like they're from MySpace in 2007.

Dean Holland is a successful online marketer who has achieved considerable success.

As a result, he has made just shy of $1,000,000 selling other people’s products since he began doing so in 2004.

Apart from his affiliate business, he now works as a motivational speaker and author. Dean Holland comes from a family with a long history in the business world.

Dean Holland created one of the very first online coaching programs that went viral, and has been involved in creating information products in affiliate marketing for several years.

He is one of a few people who have developed courses of this nature and have demonstrated some level of expertise they possess in the process. As a result, you will likely gain some knowledge from him - not a total scam.

Alternatively, you can watch some of his free training videos on his YouTube channel and save a buck or two.

Seems to me like he would not have created such a detailed blueprint unless he had actually ‘lived’ the model.

Hopefully, at least!

Dean Holland's Book: The Iceberg Effect

Dean Holland's Book: The Iceberg Effect

It is possible to live the life of your dreams with affiliate marketing and achieve financial independence. However, only a select few are successful, and most are left frustrated, overwhelmed, and out of pocket.

Why? According to Dean Holland, the Iceberg Effect reveals the bleak reality of affiliate marketing today and what he called the “next generation of affiliate marketing.”

As an affiliate marketer, Holland has achieved some solid success, but it is nice to see him admitting the difficulties of the industry.

In The Iceberg Effect, he outlines his approach to building a long-term and highly profitable internet business as an affiliate marketer in today’s economy.

He bases his approach on his own success as an affiliate marketer. And if you get lucky, you might also have a shot at building your own affiliate enterprise**.**

This book is recommended for entrepreneurs, internet marketers, and direct marketers.

What is Internet Profits?

What is Internet Profits?

If I had to sum up Internet Profits in a single sentence, it would be: a training program and an affiliate program all rolled into one.

By generating more traffic and filtering the visitor through a sales funnel, you will learn how to sell high-ticket products on a commission basis...this is affiliate marketing in a nutshell.

On the affiliate marketing side of things, you will have the opportunity to promote Dean's course and gain a commission on each sale of the program you prefer.

Having said that, you are under no obligation to promote Internet Profits if you do not wish to do so at all.

There are far too many courses available online that force you to promote the course itself rather than what makes sense to the user. It’s incredibly inconvenient, and kinda sleazy.

Throughout Internet Profits, you will be guided step-by-step (over 30 days) through the process of creating a website, generating traffic, creating sales funnels, and creating email marketing lists, as well as information on email sharing.

Only one blueprint is focused on getting you to make as much money as possible from high ticket items. Still, it is a model that has been proven to be rewarding.

What's Inside Dean Holland's Courses?

whats inside dean hollands course

Most of what you get here is a 30-day blueprint for setting up your online affiliate marketing business for the first month.

As previously stated, this will cover a wide range of topics related to marketing, including creating websites, sending emails, and so on.

For those who plan to promote Internet Profits, Dean decides that they will get promotional materials, live coaching and mentoring, and some funnel-building software.

In addition, you'll receive "bonuses" geared to generate traffic through various means, including social media. In addition, you'll have access to a discussion forum where you and other Internet Profits Partner Program participants can exchange ideas about the course.

For the complete package, Internet Profits offers you the opportunity to become an affiliate. Still, you can customize the funnel to suit your needs if you don't want to.

Who Is Internet Profits' Audience?

Who Is Internet Profits Audience

This program is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of affiliate marketing and work their way up with intermediate affiliate marketers who want to change their marketing strategy.

It is intended for those willing to devote time to learning a particular system. If you are unwilling to learn, this product is probably not for you.

The Internet Profits program is also not for you if you’re not interested in affiliate marketing, obviously.

Internet Profits contains helpful information that can be applied to various online businesses. Still, I don’t think it’s worth the money just for that. It lacks in some areas.

High-ticket products, which can be challenging to sell, are inappropriate for this beginner audience. Consider looking elsewhere if you’re looking for starter affiliate programs, or alternative industries dedicated to passive income.

Likewise, if you’re hoping to make quick cash, I’d advise you to stay away from it. You won’t see your first payment for weeks or even months in many cases.

And that's assuming you see profits at all.

As a kicker, you’ll need to spend some money on marketing during this period. If you’re on the verge of running out of funds, you should avoid using Internet Profits - you'll be in debt for a while.

What Does The Internet Have To Say?

What Does The Internet Have To SayLet's hear what the people have to say:

"Ah. This is another one of those marketing gimmick pyramids. And apparently it has a name; affiliate marketing.

Basically, the ultimate secret to market networking and success in many avenues is confidence and enthusiasm. There’s a technique involved with how to rope people into these things and basically offer advice on generating ideas. Yes, literally worm your way in to get paid to think of ideas. Pitch it, baiting other human beings to believe in your services, and they dump money into it. The idea works, you make money. Rinse and repeat.

...

It’s not a scam in the same way that money is being outright stolen or through blatant lies of misinformation. But it is a scam in that they’re trying to bait you into generating revenue for themselves through their own method that baited them from another person who knew ‘the secret’ before they did. The genius, devious part of this is that every time somebody promotes the concepts and reviews the material positively, it self-boosts itself to grow as a monster until you realize everyone giving a good review is doing the exact same thing in a circular rut.

Even so, assume it doesn’t work out for someone, it’s easy to say the person didn’t work hard enough or follow all the steps all the way, even if they don’t say failure has to do with buying a better packaged deal.

Notice, nobody other than myself even actually answered your question directly. Reason being, it’s not good network marketing to just say it plainly if you want to recreate it as legitimate; I’m not an affiliate marketer, I believe useful and important information should be freely available, or at least the core basics plainly understood and you can pay for extra details, examples, and the service of direct coaching if you wish.

I basically figured it out myself by simply reading enough product information, free brochures, and finding YouTube links from all the people trying the exact same marketing techniques. Enough people gave small tidbits of information that I could piece it together."

Oof, not the most endorsing review. Let's read one more:

"Hi,

I'm another one who nearly got suckered in but (luckily) couldn't afford it so put it on hold. However, I'm a bit confused by your point about the 6-month guarantee? Do you mean that Paypal has a 6-month limit on buyer protection? Also, even if you missed Paypal's deadline, wouldn't the seller making the guarantee still pay you the money (in this case £20000) in accordance with this guarantee?

I'm also not sure how this qualifies as a scam? What's wrong with creating a business empire by recruiting others (to recruit others etc) to sell your product? I recently attended one of Michael Cheney's webinars and if I remember correctly, he said quite plainly that this was exactly the busines model.

Admittedly I'm a newbie to IM so may be missing something therefore I'd really REALLY appreciate your response.

And lastly, a humungous thank you for this site - this is exactly why I spend more time combing the net for genuine reviews of these endless get-rich IM programs than I do listening to the marketers themselves."

Is Dean Holland Running A Scam?

Scam or Legit

So, is Dean Holland running a scam?

Not technically.

My honest opinion is that some of the claims about how much you can earn with Internet Profits are a little too far-fetched. To expect a steady flow of cash is unrealistic.

At least not this fast anyway.

Those who are fortunate enough to achieve this level of success online will be the ones to benefit.

However, if you’re prepared to put the time and effort into your own business, I believe you could earn some money with this system. You just need the right mindset.

This program is just not our #1 choice.

Heck, affiliate marketing is not even our favorite industry anymore.

Because Digital Leasing has taken the lead generation model and put it on steroids. It innovates on every part of the business model and makes it so accessible that pretty much anyone can succeed at it.

What if you could put in a couple hours a day (in your spare time) to build a single digital asset, and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing.

You can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

TESTIMONIAL Saying Goodbye To Our Jobs

They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.

Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.

So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.

And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

How Much Does it Cost to Join the Internet Profits Partner Program?

It seems inflation has hit Dean Holland's program just like most other things in this world.

It used to be that you'd spend $1997 to join the Internet Profits Partner Program - but it appears as of our most recent investigations, you will now spend anywhere between $2997-4997!

This is a one-time payment for membership in the program that will last for life, but it can be too expensive for some who don't see the value in it. Not to mention, there could always be upsells.

Internet Profits does not offer any Free Account, but does offer some form of refund policy...

Does Dean Holland Offer A Refund Policy?

dean holland internet profits cost refund policy

As one can see, there is a refund policy for Holland's programs. Some reviews say he honors it, fair and square...but I always feel like I should highlight the portion that mentions that he's legally permitted to decline any refund if he wants to.

Are There Alternatives To Dean Holland?

Yes, there are plenty of Affiliate Marketing programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:

What Is Our #1 Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: Unlike other lead generation models, Digital Leasing gives you full ownership over every single asset, which means you have all the power and all the control.

Feeling Blessed

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

Scott Lead Gen

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours.

You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Dean Holland's course which could one day make you money.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
