David Dekel Reviews: Best In Affiliate Marketing?

David Dekel is an online guru in the affiliate marketing industry, hailing from Canada.

His programs seem to be basically the same in their nature, going by titles such as Profits Passport , Funnel X ROI, and his newest endeavor: Leads Tornado.

It seems that his program is basically about sending you to other affiliate programs.

So what exactly separates him from the pack? What's inside these programs? And how much is he charging for his teachings?

Let's dive in and find out.

DISCLAIMER:

This David Dekel review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Possible to make some money with affiliate marketing
  • David Dekel is a somewhat recognizable name
CONS
  • Misleading sales pitch - hard to do anything for free here
  • Much better alternatives out there
  • Keeps shifting brand names, running from something?

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

In this David Dekel review, we’ll dive into the pros and cons of the program.

But before that, let’s ask ourselves: is affiliate marketing even a worthwhile business model?

On the one hand, the promise is great…

You don’t have to create products, worry about fulfillment, customer service, or bad reviews.

Your only job is to get the right customers in front of the right offer, and take a commission when they buy.

And - theoretically - you can do it all in an hour a day from the beach.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, not really. Driving traffic (that’s internet speak for getting customers) is single-handedly the hardest part of the entire marketing process.

Later in this review, we’ll talk about all the different skills you need to drive traffic successfully.

For now, let’s just say the promise doesn’t really match up with reality.

At best, affiliate marketing is a job. You’re working for someone else, selling their products, and at any time, they can change your commission structure or block you from selling their stuff entirely.

In this business, you don’t really own or control anything. Since - for the most part - you’re driving traffic (again, the hardest job of all) and sending it to someone else, you don’t even get to keep the customers, who are the most valuable piece of the puzzle.

At worst, affiliate marketing is a pyramid scheme. There are certain - ahem - programs that charge you a monthly “membership fee”, under the guise that you will learn how to be a “wealthy affiliate marketer”.

Once you join, however, you find out the only way to really make money is by being an affiliate for that program.

That’s pretty much the textbook definition of a pyramid scheme.

Now, let’s say you really want that hour-a-day-work-from-the-beach lifestyle.

Living The Beach Lifestyle

What if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours before seeing your first dollar
  • Doing all the hard work of driving traffic to only get a tiny commission
  • Running your business on someone else’s terms

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day testing, tweaking, and risking your money in the hope you can finally start making sales?

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

Still Getting Paid

This is like taking all the good parts from affiliate marketing (however few there are), and putting aside all the bad.

However, if you’d still like to know more about David Dekel, keep reading.

Who Is David Dekel?

David Dekel, The Funnel X Roi Review

David Dekel is the owner and founder of Funnel X ROI, Profits Passport, and Leads Tornado. All of these programs aim to teach the average Joe how to make some money via affiliate marketing.

If you're sick of the corporate grind and the long hours away from home, he knows exactly how you feel - because this is what drove him to let go of his job and become an affiliate marketer full time.

David is from Canada, seemingly the Toronto area. He often features his daughter in his social media posts, which could be smart and risky at the same time.

On one hand, it's smart, because an innocent child makes Dekel seem more trustworthy and genuine. On the other, there are a lot of nasty people on the internet, and I don't think I'd want to plaster my child's face all over my controversial business practice.

He seems to be a decently experienced affiliate marketer, and offers several courses...although they seem to all basically feature the same details, which is odd.

David had built an "admiringly profitable marketing business**"** when he built his own affiliate program, and now he wants to share his tricks for making money online.

What Is Funnel X ROI?

David Dekel Funnel X ROI Funnel X Roi is an invite-only sales funnel valued at $1997, but it is "FREE" to join...but you'll get basically nothing worth your time for the free trial, of course.

When you go to their website, you will be greeted by a video from David where he seems excited to turn you into a “commission magnet”.

He requires no experience to join Funnel X Roi and looks very eager to share how easy affiliate marketing works.

On the Funnel X Roi website, David says that you can even make money while you sleep.

He claims that he can help you build multiple streams of income in his sales video.

Work for 15 minutes and get $300 a day!

Seems like a pretty bold claim.

This "experienced affiliate marketer" claims that you can get full access to his formula of sales funnels, leads that might generate a traffic boost.

It may be free to join Funnel X Roi, but you're gonna have to shell out a few thousand for anything of value.

And that's not even including the other affiliate/MLM programs he forces you to join, which cost thousands themselves...

How Does Funnel X ROI work?

david-dekel-is-it-a-scam-or-legit.jpg.webp Funnel X Roi System is a comprehensive affiliate marketing business that can help you start your online business.

Unlike other programs like Wealthy Affiliate, Funnel X ROI will unfortunately not pay you commissions.

The money you get will not come from Funnel X ROI, but instead from the additional tools and programs or the third-party affiliate marketing programs. The third-party affiliates will be paying you your commission, so it’s not your standard affiliate program.

When you get to the member’s area and click on the “Start Here” button, you will see the steps to set up your funnel and a link to promote your funnel.

...and that's when you might realize that not much value will be found for free.

You realize that David’s game in lead generation is through solo ads, which also means paid traffic.

Whenever you run solo ads, it only means money coming out of your pocket or bank account.

Also, you may soon come to realize that David Dekel's entire business model involves setting you up with other companies that he has an affiliate relationship with...and if you want to advance within his program, it sounds like he forces you to join them, too.

Not my idea of a good time, but let's investigate further.

What's Inside David Dekel's Funnel X ROI?

While they say it is free with no strings attached, you will soon hear about monthly or yearly membership costs, followed by the five additional tools and programs that you have to buy in order for the "making money online" system to work.

Here are the 5 additional "tools and programs", all of which David surely makes money off you joining.

Easy1Up

Easy1Up Compensation Plan

Easy1Up appears to be a blend of MLM and affiliate marketing, created by Peter Wolfing. It is pushed as an easy system to unleash the internet’s earning power.

A commission system encourages newcomers to sell high-ticket items for those big paydays.

And of course, they want you to recruit as many other people into the program as possible.

Now Lifestyle

now lifestyle cost

Now Lifestyle is another affiliate program you can join. It is also blended with multi-level marketing, this time involving the health and fitness industry.

Joel Therien leads the company, and the commission is based on how many products you sell...or how many Lifestyle Representatives you recruit under you.

Membership can range anywhere from $49 a month to $299 a month, or annual payments from $441 to $2691.

Hope you're ready for the investment!

3. ROI Panel

roi panel program

ROI panel is an online business set up by David Dekel himself.

So you are paying David to promote his business. A spreadsheet calculates your ROI to ensure the advertising campaigns you run are optimized.

This panel comes in packages you can choose, and as you can tell by the sketchy website, they are probably not great.

Paying someone to make money for him...this Dekel guy really has a wild business model going on.

4. Udimi

Derek's Secret Technique, Solo Ads

Once you set up your sales funnel, David’s next step is to offer you marketing tools that he believes would work. Udimi is an online platform for buying and selling solo ads and is rumored to have a monthly $19.95 fee.

5. Advertising Boost/Marketing Boost

marketing boost advertising boost david dekel

Lastly, Advertising Boost is a vacation incentive program that helps businesses sell by giving customers a chance to win a trip around the world.

These "tools and programs" just keep getting worse, in my opinion.

It appears to have recently shifted its brand name to "Marketing Boost"...something I always raise a red flag over. After all, if you've built up a strong brand, why would you want to hide from it?

Not good.

David Dekel's Other Programs

david dekel profits passport

You may have noticed that while David hasn't formally retired his "Funnel X ROI" branding, he seems to be using other names for his program these days.

But whether it's "Profits Passport" or "Leads Tornado", trust me when I say: it's all the same thing.

It is likely that David gets a bad rap from his strange business model, and tries to hide under a new company.

A strong brand does not change its name unless absolutely necessary.

What Does The Internet Have To Say?

What Does The Internet Have To Say

Let's hear what the people have to say:

"Profits Passport is an online affiliate marketing system that has recently updated its income streams for members. The previous income streams have mainly changed, and now the company wants to earn money by charging admin fees. Profits Passport has now moved towards owning and branding their products to gain admin fee payments themselves.

The first level of the new affiliate program costs $2,000, and it includes software that helps members give away gifts on social media to build a social media following and generate free traffic from social media. This product comes with an additional one-time admin fee of $750.

The second level is the ROI panel, which is a tracking software that allows members to track up to 65,000 visitors per month. This product costs $4,000, and members can earn a commission of $4,000 if they resell the product. This level also comes with the giveaway software included in the first level.

The final level is the scalable webinar offer, which includes both the giveaway software and the ROI panel. It also includes webinar software that allows members to run unlimited automated webinars, promoting their own or affiliate products via the automated webinar system. The cost for this level is $6,000, plus a one-time admin fee of $1,250.

To earn commissions as part of the Profits Passport affiliate program, members have to purchase each product first as a customer. It is a pay-to-play program where members have to purchase the products to qualify for resell rights. Members cannot join the program for free and generate commissions by promoting an affiliate link without first purchasing the product.

In conclusion, although the software in each level has value, the price for each product seems to be high for internet marketing software tools. There are plenty of other tools in the market at much lower prices. However, members have a chance to earn commissions ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on the level they purchase, and resell to others."

Is David Dekel A Scammer?

Scam or Legit

Funnel X Roi seems to be a comprehensive online marketing system but it is a pay-to-win system. You earn by how much you are willing to put in.

So, is Funnel X Roi a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but making money with affiliate marketing definitely isn’t as easy as the company makes it sound.

Driving traffic is extremely difficult. In order to do it successfully, you need to at least understand all these things, if not be a ninja at them:

  • Copywriting
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook Ads
  • Content Writing
  • Website Building
  • Conversion Optimization
  • Automation
  • Email Marketing
  • Click Tracking
  • Retargeting/Remarketing
  • SEO
  • Backlinking

And a lot more.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and - most importantly - the actual commissions are pretty small.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months and then your reward is a $50 commission, it’s not really worth it.

What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you only needed 1 or 2 of the above skills to get started, instead of mastering all 12 before seeing your first dollar?

And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.

Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.

So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.

And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

How Much Does David Dekel's Program Cost?

By now I hope we've made it clear that you're not really getting anything here for free, no matter how tasty the bait may appear.

His exact pricing is hidden, but it seems his program alone will cost you thousands.

In fact, if you join all these other programs like David forces you into, you are certainly looking at a price in the thousands, if not clearing $10,000 in yearly expenses.

Again, it all comes down to the question: is it worth the risk?

Experienced affiliate marketers may be able to avoid the problems here, but it's easy to see an affiliate marketing newbie racking up debt with David Dekel.

Do you really want to get caught up in this rag-tag web of affiliate marketing, along with some Multi-Level-Marketing?

Seems complex and expensive.

Does David Dekel Offer A Refund?

david dekel refund policy

David's own terms of services simply state that each program he directs you to will have a different policy, which is vague and probably keeps him out of legal trouble.

The screenshot above shows a decent policy from Marketing Boost, but other sites typically all have a line stating something like "all refunds are up to our discretion", which is legal-speak for "we can do anything we want once you give us your money."

Are There Alternatives To David Dekel?

Yes, there are plenty of Affiliate Marketing programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:

What Is My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With Affiliate Marketing, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own customers.

Look at the fine print for most affiliate agreements. At any point, the company can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

With Digital Leasing, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

Feeling Blessed

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

Scott Lead Gen

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with affiliate marketing, you’d have to double your traffic, double the average order size of each customer, OR double your commission rate. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.

Lance Lead Gen 1

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With affiliate marketing, you’re selling the product with the best commission rate, NOT the one that’s going to improve the most people’s lives.

And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.

But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like David Dekel which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
