TLDR – What’s The Verdict On Creative Testing Mastery?

Creative Testing Mastery is a relatively new program from Will Perry, and it’s all about helping businesses thrive with paid social ads.
However, Perry separates himself from the pack by not just offering tips on how to launch your ad campaign, but also something known as “ad creative tests”.
Before investing tons of money into ad spend that might not be worth it, you can “test” it out on a smaller scale. From there, Perry divides the results into “Win Ad creative testing” and “Losing Ad creative tests”.
Makes some sense to me.
After all, it doesn’t matter how many ad creatives you have, or how great a creative concept your advertisement is if it doesn’t test well to your target audience.
So, Will Perry founded his Elite Media Buyer company, which serves as an umbrella corporation for the Creative Testing Mastery course. This way, he can teach ad agency owners how to boost a creative performance, or even help other gurus with their own ads.
While I’ve seen plenty of SMMA programs out there, this is the first that seems to really focus on the testing process through multiple ad elements, which might set it apart as a differentiator.
That said, there is a little confusion in the marketing for Perry’s program, which is a bit of a red flag for me since…you know…he’s supposed to be a marketing specialist.

Anyway, the confusing thing for me is that he seems to refer to this 30-day course as both “Creative Testing Mastery” on one of his websites where he is also pitching an 8-week program, but then he refers to it as a 30-day “Creative Testing Masterclass” on another website.
While this is not a deal-breaker, like I said, it does concern me that Perry isn’t being more careful when it comes to his own ad messaging. Makes me wonder if he’ll be any more diligent when it comes to yours!
Beyond that, I also have some concerns that Perry’s program won’t teach you much about organic SEO growth, which is typically regarded as the most inexpensive AND fruitful way to direct traffic to businesses.
It can take a little longer to establish than a paid ads campaign, so it’s good to blend the two effectively, but ignoring organic growth altogether isn’t a great idea in my opinion – especially when social media can be so volatile.
For example, if you’re specializing in TikTok ads, you run the risk of congress going after the Chinese-owned platform again and crushing your investment.
With Facebook and Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg has a long and complicated relationship with advertisers.
All in all, I’d put my eggs in a different basket if you wanna take your digital marketing game to the next level.

It can be pretty tricky finding the right mix of program and guru. Sometimes we find a really cool guru, but it turns out their business model just can’t deliver profits effectively. And then other times there are great business models, but the guru just has zero in common with you.
In this case, I think Will Perry is very close to a solid business model, but let’s figure out if his course really makes sense for you.

Creative Testing Mastery At A 1,000 FT View

Starting up your own SMMA can be very rewarding when it’s done right.
And while I’m sure Will Perry’s business model can still help agencies, I also think it leaves meat on the bone.
On one hand, I think his business is stronger than others because of its “testing” differentiator, but on the other hand, I think missing out on organic growth could hurt your agency in the long run.
The testing process is important before launching any big-money marketing campaign. Why? Because losing a hundred bucks now is a lot better than losing 10 grand later.
Testing allows you to see how your paid ads reach the people you want them to. If the test doesn’t do well, then you have to re-adjust your strategy. But if it does well, then you likely have a good chance of success if you invest even more funds into the move.
The thing is, paid ads typically give you a great short-term boost, but the leads are not as sustainable as they’d be if you attracted them organically, through SEO or otherwise.
In fact, killing it with organic SEO can get you on the front page of Google, which can completely change the game for your clients, making you downright irreplaceable. And there’s nothing worse than letting clients down – they’re not giving you money for nothing ,after all.
Can Will Perry’s Elite Media Buyer’s business model help you out?
Sure, I think it can. But there are flaws in it.
Just be careful of any unrealistic claims, and keep your mind open to other ideas when you’re going down the path of an ad agency owner. You have to keep your mindset focused on making some big bucks, but also overcoming struggles in the short term.
I still have to recommend Digital Leasing above all else when it comes to elevating your game. You won’t be guaranteed much, but they will equip you with the knowledge and mentorship you need to start taking control of your life.

Take a look at Will Perry’s face and tell me what sport you think he played the most…
…yup, that is the most golfer-y face I’ve ever seen in my life. And he actually managed to make a career out of it, kinda.
He graduated from the University of Central Florida, and then became an intern for web communications at the American Junior Gold Association (as well as Golfweek) for a couple years. After that, he was employed by Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy for a while, working in their marketing department.
It was here that he found his love for marketing and generating sales leads, and he founded Unicorn Traffic in 2015.
But it wasn’t until 2021 that Perry created his Elite Media Buyers Academy and started transferring the knowledge he picked up over to students in an educational program. He claims to have helped steer over $65 million in ad spend, so hopefully that all led to solid growth!
Some other companies he owns include REASON and Future Kontent, both different sorts of agencies.
How Much Does Creative Testing Mastery Cost?

This is a little bit of a weird spot. Will Perry’s website advertises the course as being struck down from $1,997 to only $47…but anyone who knows anything about economics knows that makes no sense.
It’s just absurd. Vehicles don’t go on sale from $10,000 to $100, you know? that’s the kind of “sale” being promised here, and it makes me wonder where Will Perry is going to make up the difference.
If you hop on a sales call with his team, just be sure to ask about the fine print, and any upsells/hidden fees you might run into.
What Is CTM’s Refund Policy?
It appears that there is a 30-day refund policy for Creative Testing Mastery, which is nice.
Just be sure to read the fine-print, as there can often be tricky language in there that makes it tough to get your money back.
Personal Opinion On Creative Testing Mastery

Creative Testing Mastery is an interesting company overall, with highs and lows to be expected like any other. I’ve sure got plenty of opinions on ’em, and I’ve read up enough on similar companies for my opinion to carry some weight.
It’s a tricky world out there…how exactly should you go about finding the right course for you?
- Think about doing this for the rest of your life
- Ask yourself if you can really see yourself vibing with the guru
- Check out some other student reviews to see if there are any honest ones out there
It’s hard to say if CTM is the best at what they do – they certainly don’t seem like the worst, for what that’s worth.
To be fair, here’s a quick 3 things I like about the program:
- Social media keeps getting more and more popular
- Will Perry is a hungry young coach
- Starting an agency can be really good when done right
…and, to be fair, 3 things I don’t really like:
- The price is suspiciously cheap, to the point it can’t be accurate
- Will’s program has only been around since 2021

“Creative Testing Mastery scam” shows up a lot when you’re searching up Will Perry’s course…
…but does that really mean he’s running a scam?
I don’t think so.
You see, a scam is only technically when some guru boasts about all these huge promises, takes your money, and then gives you no service or good in return.
Even if you’re not a fan of Will Perry’s outdated-looking website, you’re still pretty much guaranteed to get SOME kind of service for what you’re paying.
After all, does he look like the kind of kid who’d cheat on his golf score?
Alright, maybe. But that’s beside the point.
I think Will could very well assist agencies in their mission to maximize profits, but as I mentioned earlier, I also have to admit that you’re gonna be missing out on some fun if all you do is focus on paid ads.
Organic SEO growth is typically considered to be more sustainable, and it will save you potentially tens of thousands of dollars each month in ad expenses! Usually your best best is to combine the two, rather than choosing one over the other.
Only going with paid ads is like eating cereal without milk…pizza without cheese…drinking whiskey without a cigar?!
Okay, maybe that last one is just me.
To be fair if somehow Willy Perry really is delivering quality content for only $47, then that’s an absolute steal….
…but I just don’t buy it.
If I’m operating a major marketing agency, I’m not sure I’d even want to take a course for that cheap, just because it would feel like I’m not gonna get a ton of value back. I’m serious!

Developing Your Message
As you might guess from the title, this one is all about strategizing your core sales message, designing great pitches (copy), getting everything built up so that it’s so good Perry calls it a “cheat code” for Google ads.
This kind of stuff is super important, so it’s good that Perry is focusing on it as his 101 section. Without a solid sales pitch, you ain’t got nothin’.
Core Sales Message Framework
This part is an eight-step workbook that helps you figure out who your target audience should be. You’ll identify what they want in life, and what their obstacles are in trying to get to all that.
CTM 201
Offer Validation
“Validation” is a bit of industry jargon that basically means making your sales pitch better. Sometimes I wish folks would just talk plainly, right? Anyway, Perry says that something he calls “Power Images” will help, which I’m guessing just means sharp-looking JPEG’s that go well with your written/video pitch.
Beyond that, CTM offers something called “Ad Variable Isolation”, which can supposedly help with figuring out what’s working with your openers, thumbnails, text overlays, headliners, and hooks.

Creative Strategy
Okay, so it took me a while but Will Perry basically speaks a different language when discussing what his course offers. Whenever you see “High Intent creatives”, he just means videos and images.
Seriously.
That kind of silly talk is designed to make you feel like he knows what he’s talking about, but really it’s just unnecessary and creates a communication divide between the program and users.
Anyway, Perry claims that he will show his students 5 of the best “Go-To High Intent Creative Types” to help figure out which pictures and videos will perform the best on your sales funnels.
He also things this selection will attract more customers who are “ready to buy”
CTM 401
Single Variable Split Testing
This is Will Perry’s method of testing that he says makes things clearer for making decisions. It’s got 4 phases and “makes it easy to scale winners”.
The Big 5 Creative Tests
These are the main A/B tests you’ll be doing in order to test out your ads on a small scale, then make them into great marketing campaigns that bring in a ton of sales.
Perry also offers something called “Scroll-Frame Optimization” that helps fight against social media users being sick of seeing ads all the time, and learning how you could cut through all that.
Conclusion Of My Will Perry Review
So, should you go all-in with CTM?
Probably not.
Now, if you really need a solid program that specializes in testing, then maybe he’s your guy.
But I just think there are better investments out there.
Between the odd pricing that doesn’t seem realistic, and the overuse of fancy/made-up words to make everything sound better…it’s just not my thing. I also think it’s better to combine paid ads with organic SEO growth, meanwhile Will Perry’s course just teaches the paying side of things.
All in all, if you’re just looking for a way to make some big money online, hit up the guys over at Digital Leasing. They’ll maximize your income stream by showing you the best of both worlds of advertising, and there won’t be any meat left on the bone.
