Cory Long Review: Is His Digital Storefronts Course Really All It's Cracked Up To Be? ([year] Update)

Lead generation is pretty much the #1 online industry on the upswing for entrepreneurs.

There’s just one problem: you still have to do it right.

Cory Long, as far as we can tell, seems to have some holes his local lead generation business plan.

It’s a fantastic opportunity if you have the right strategy – a strong program and mentor is invaluable. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true – a bad guru can cost you thousands in return for very little value.

But don't let us tell you how to feel - we'll walk you through our review to see what Long is all about, and if there are any stronger alternatives out there. After all that, you'll know enough to decide for yourself.

Let's dive in.

DISCLAIMER:

This Cory Long review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Lead generation is a strong industry
  • Possible to make money with the right guidance
CONS
  • Cory Long's reputation is not great
  • Some mentors give terrible advice
  • Seems like a "so close, yet so far" situation

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Cory Long's Digital Storefront is a lead generation program. And frankly, this is probably one of the better business models out there.

However, Cory Long's Digital Storefront isn’t our #1 choice here. Joshua T. Osborne’s Digital Leasing program is.

There’s a right way and a wrong way to do things in lead generation.

The wrong way involves chasing clients, and using either outdated templates or poor-performing Facebook ads to get cheap leads that never buy or even answer the phone.

This creates a ton of client turnover, forces you to do a lot of selling, as well as experimenting with different types of ads and campaigns.

It’s a very active business model, and is more of a self-created job.

However, the right way to do lead generation involves building assets that YOU own and control.

Assets that attract high-quality, ready-to-buy customers to YOU, that you can then flip to the client for a fee.

The lead generation program ScamRisk recommends shows you how to do this in a way that creates passive monthly income, instead of forcing you to work round the clock to keep things going.

This program shows you how to create an income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Leasing.

Still Getting Paid

However, if you’d still like to know more about Cory Long and his services, keep reading.

Who Is Cory Long?

Digital Storefronts Review Tenant Attraction System Lead Generation Group

Cory Long is a digital marketer who aims to educate people on how to make income online through lead generation services.

He is known for his coaching business online and known to have produced multiple businesses from scratch.

He even says he was a local business owner at what point, which he thinks gives him the inside edge on the lead generation business model.

While it's certainly good to have boots-on-the-ground experience, it still takes a lot to make this business model work.

What Is Digital Storefronts?

Digital Storefronts A Successful Lead Generation Business A Local Lead Generation Model

Digital Storefronts is basically a lead generation program that provides an online business the ease of having a constant source of leads.

He shows your how to "rent digital storefronts" in order to provide a service to real-life businesses.

The problems only arise when he pushes you to use outdated SEO tactics and sketchy “black-hat” Google My Business listings to send phone calls to local businesses.

This leaves you at the mercy of Google’s search algorithm updates, which has a history of ruining lead generation empires in a single day.

I have friends that have gone from $50K/mo in passive income down to nearly $0 because their listings got suspended (and they never got them back)!

Every guru out there has “their secret method” to “ensure” Google doesn’t slap you down with a huge penalty. Well, to that I say: good luck fighting a $200 billion per year tech giant.

The good way to do lead generation, is building assets that YOU own, while playing by the rules and giving companies like Google and Facebook what they desire most – relevancy.

In this model, you build high-converting digital assets (like a landing page), and push high-quality customers through them. You then flip these customers to a client that’s willing to take them, and charge a fee for making the connection.

Digital Storefronts fails on most of these fronts by not making the appropriate connections with local business owners.

How Does Cory Long Teach The Program?

cory-long-course.jpg.webp

Long's company runs an active business model where once the program works to provide you with substantial source of leads, you will have quick client turn over.

That means more sales and more opportunity on exploring different ways to market.

He starts you off with "free training" that is a springboard into his private facebook group, where he will push a few upsells.

How Much Does Digital Storefronts Cost?

Digital Storefronts

Cory Long is suspiciously silent on how much his course actually costs.

There's hardly any information on its pricing, which doesn't bode well for Cory earning anyone's trust - especially since he is a pastor, and Christianity promotes honesty.

I know a big church nearby that offers all their financial numbers to anyone who asks.

All that said, the word on the street is that Cory Long's Digital Storefronts course costs anywhere between $1997 and $10,000...although we can't say if that is before or after certain upsells.

What Value Does Cory Long Provide?

cory long screenshot

So, other than sketchy Webcam video sessions, what else does Cory Long provide?

Hopefully, he provides leads.

We all know that all businesses must have leads in order to function – leads are the source of potential clients.

That is why it really is a valuable service to become a lead generator. The modern businessman understands the importance of marketing and attaining new clientele, and will surely pay you for it.

You just have to go about marketing yourself and your clients' companies the right way.

Cory Long: Is He A Real Pastor?

Cory Long DSF

Apart from talking about his business, Cory Long claims to support the Christian community by helping pastors and ministers and the community through giving back.

With his successful career as digital marketer, he is able to pay it forward.

For me that’s a great inspiration and motivation to do business – something that is purposeful which can add value to community.

I just hope that he’s telling the truth – Christianity is great, but there are too many pastors who become rich and famous and then forget what the Bible is all about.

Honesty should be a key trait for people in general, but Christians especially profess this as a virtue.

There are some indications that Cory Long isn't always transparent in his dealings.

The Character Of Cory Long

Digital Storefronts Review Cory Long

Cory Long claims to be honest, ethical, and exerting Christian values.

Such characteristics may seem like unrelated to making money, but often a man of strong character will bring about profits to his mind, body, and soul - and if those are all improving, it's likely one's bank account will be increasing as well.

However, there are several online complaints about his behavior.

It is common knowledge among those in the lead generation world that Cory Long was kicked out of Job Killing. Apparently, it was because he started poaching other members of that group, in order to go off and copy his mentors' course ideas.

If he was so confident that people needed his program, why did he have to start turning on those around him?

If the rumors are true – his actions may be more reminiscent of Judas than Jesus.

Cory Long Online Reviews

Long Cory

Let's hear what the people have to say about Cory Long and his Digital Storefronts program.

"I took their booked zoom meeting yesterday (09/14/22). The approach was low-pressure; however, at the end of the hour-long meeting, they asked for a financial commitment. The price was $7500, but $1000 off if you signed up within 48 hours of the meeting.

They offered two ways to finance it. You could get a third-party loan/credit card payment, or use PayPal credit. With Paypal credit, you can put the payments off for 6 months interest-free, but if you don’t pay in six months, the interest is retrofitted (?) to your account. You pay all the accrued interest from the beginning. That is Paypal’s policy regardless of what you use the money for. It is not DSF policy.

I applied for the PayPal credit line as I already had a PayPal account. I only qualified for $5000, which means I will have to use another credit source for the other $1500 if I decide to buy."

Sounds like high-pressure sales tactics. Not a great start.

"This is a complete scam, they just want your money. Untruthful sales people and poor customer service. I was told that the google my business map listings were a non issue by a sales person before purchasing the program.

After purchase I see all kinds of issues that members are having in the program with Google Business Map listings. I contacted the customer service to let them know I was not told the truth about their program and they refuse to issue cancel my membership and issue a refund even though I wasn’t told the truth and I haven’t used the program materials.

Not a Christian organization, non Christian businesses have better morals and customer service. Stay Away"

Digital Storefronts Reddit Reviews

It seems some of our suspicions may be confirmed here. Let's look for a more positive review.

"In my opinion Digital Storefronts is an amazing group that I highly recommend. There are many experts that share the knowledge that they have and just keep pouring value into the training in a way that is easily understood with step by step instructions for beginners all the way through to expert level.

They promise more and more and ALWAYS deliver on those promises. I am involved in other groups and trainings as well and while i have to say that some of those trainings are very good, they just don't come close to delivering as much as this one! Digital Storefronts surpasses them all bringing on more value all the time and new trainings without the up sell.

This is my honest opinion and if i could do it over I would only choose Digital Storefronts and save the thousands that I spent everywhere els."

Well...that sounded like someone was paid to write that. Let's find one more for the road.

"Is there a chance of a class action lawsuit for people that gave DSF a boat load of money? FYI, you mentioned they have a 90 day money back. They didn’t for us. We were in this less than 3 weeks and ask them to refund our money. Which at that point was $4,000.

They refused to give our money back so we are, and will be paying for something we never received. Such a scam. Way too expensive for what you get. Everything they offer after the initial 6 grand is even more money. This definitely was not a wise choice on our part. One of the biggest mistakes in our life."

Is Cory Long Running A Scam?

Scam or Legit

So, is Cory Long running a scam?

Not technically.

It might be a decent lead generation program.

It’s just not our #1 choice.

Because Digital Leasing has taken the lead generation model and put it on steroids. It innovates on every part of the business model and makes it so accessible that pretty much anyone can succeed at it.

What if you could put in a couple hours a day (in your spare time) to build a single digital asset, and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Leasing.

You can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

Saying Goodbye To Our Jobs

They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.

Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.

So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.

And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Final Thoughts

Digital Storefronts

I recommend the business model of lead generation – but I just find it hard to Cory Long in particular if the rumors of him stealing clients from his friends are true.

There are plenty of other gurus out there who don’t come with nearly as much baggage, and have many more metrics of success.

I think Cory Long may be competent in what he does, and his program may be effective…however, there’s a lot of competition out there – and it takes a lot to be #1.

It really just seems like there are stronger alternatives.

Are There Alternatives To Cory Long's Digital Storefronts?

Yes, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

What Is My #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.

Why?

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

JUMP ALL IN

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: Unlike other lead generation models, Digital Leasing gives you full ownership over every single asset, which means you have all the power and all the control.

Feeling Blessed

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket...even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

Scott Lead Gen

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

Lance Lead Gen

5) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. With Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either...a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

BOSS OF MY FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours.

You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Cory Long which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality.

At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Leasing.
