TLDR – What’s The Verdict? Is Christianna Hurt Scam?
Alright, some of you just want to know if it’s a good idea to buy Wealthy College Kid or not, so let’s talk about that.
Dropshipping and eCommerce would’ve been good if you started five years ago. Joining now means competing in a vast sea of competition, often requiring spending on paid ads for visibility.
With that in mind, I don’t recommend joining Wealthy College Kid.
Christianna may have her own successful online business, but being successful doesn’t make someone a good mentor.
For instance, a talented guitarist might struggle to explain how to play to a beginner.
I’m not saying she aimed to scam you when creating Wealthy College Kid.
What I mean is there are other programs teaching real skills for building a profitable online business.
I’d suggest investing in learning a wider range of skills. This will allow you to charge higher prices to your clients and provide more value.
If you’re interested in a program like this, one that I’m connected with, you can find more information about it here.
If this isn’t what you’re looking for, let’s talk about who might benefit from Wealthy College Kid and who should think about other options.
Who Benefits From Wealthy College Kid And Who Should Stay Away From Christianna Hurt?
In this section, I want to help you understand who should consider this and who should not.
If you fall into any of the following, it could be a good match for you:
- You already have an existing online store, and you want help to boost your sales.
- You have tens of thousands of dollars for establishing an online store, especially if you want an automated one.
With that in mind, if any of these apply to you, you might want to stay away from Wealthy College Kid’s programs:
- You are expecting a quick ROI. This customer complained about spending $15,000 in an automated store and only got over $200 in profit after almost a year.
- You want efficient and helpful customer service. Lots of students reported that they never heard back from Christianna and her team when they reached out.
- You want your store up and running right away. This client said he paid $26,500 and it took eight months to get one store going.
If you are looking for an alternative that only competes with around 20 local companies in your area, check out digital leasing.
Wealthy Colledge Kid Reviews: 1,000 FT View Of This Online Business Opportunity
Business Model
Wealthy College Kid operates under the eCommerce and dropshipping business model. It offers different courses that help students build their first online store.
The most popular course from Wealthy College Kid is called the “Learn To Sell On eBay” digital mini-course. It teaches you the skills you need to be successful at selling things on eBay, which is one of the biggest online marketplaces after Amazon.
It’s important to note that eBay has been facing some financial challenges. They reported a net loss of $1.2 billion last year, and their revenue went down by 9.3% compared to the previous year. This might make you wonder if eBay dropshipping is still a profitable business.
Yeah, it would’ve been profitable if you started half a decade ago, sure. By now you’d have a solid customer base and tons of reviews. If you start now? It will be hard to navigate through the competition and stand out.
If you’re looking for a different way to make money with a high-profit margin (80%-90%) and the potential for passive income, you might want to explore something called “digital leasing.”
This involves creating and ranking websites on Google and then renting them out to local businesses. It can provide you with a steady stream of money every month, and it’s a scalable and resilient business option, even during economic downturns.

Personal Opinion On Wealthy College Kid Reviews
If you’ve been following my posts for a while, you know I’ve reviewed many programs like this one. So, my advice and thoughts here come from that experience and from personally checking out the Wealthy College Kid course.
Now, when you’re looking for reviews of businesses that promise to make you money online, you’ll often come across a lot of negative comments. You see them on places like Reddit, Trustpilot, the Better Business Bureau, and in comments on ads.
The reason for all the negativity is pretty simple: people who had a bad experience are the ones who usually leave reviews. But because someone had a bad experience doesn’t mean the person selling the course is a scammer.
So, if you can’t trust all those reviews out there, how do you decide if a program like Wealthy College Kid (or any other business idea) is right for you? Here’s how I think about it:
- Check the guru’s real-world experience: Does Christianna Hurt have experience running an eCommerce business?
- Look for support and coaching: Running a business can be tough, so having a private Facebook group or other support system is important.
- Consider what you get for your money: It’s not about the program’s price, it’s about what you get in return, like videos, templates, and bonuses.
- Check for transparency: Make sure the program leaders are honest about any ongoing costs, upsells, or other expenses. You want to know what you’re getting into and not be pushed into buying more stuff.
- Look at the financial success of people in their Facebook community: Pay attention to what others are saying publicly, but remember that not everything you read may be entirely accurate.
My Recommendation On Wealthy College Kid Reviews
So I talked about how I assess a program like Wealthy College Kid. Now, let’s use those guidelines to look at the program.
First, the good stuff:
If you put in the effort, work hard, and are patient, you’ll probably at least make your money back.
While their system for setting up your own online store isn’t super easy, it’s doable.
Christianna Hurt has actual experience in this business, which is a positive sign.
If they were giving this training away for free to help you make money on the side, I’d say, “Sure, give it a try.” But when it’s more than a $10,000 investment, it’s a bit of a different story.
Now, onto the not-so-good stuff:
Here are the three main reasons I wouldn’t suggest the Wealthy College Kid program to people. I’ve based these reasons mainly on feedback from public sources.
- “The communication and customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE,” according to this Trustpilot reviewer.
- It doesn’t teach actual skills. As one student reported, “It’s literally a webinar on how to create an eBay account. Also shows you to go to freelancer and HIRE someone to run your eBay. Never actually teaches YOU how to sell on eBay on your own or not even recommended products.”
- This woman from BBB claims that she made no money and lost money instead. She said that the team ghosted her after she handed the money.

Conclusion – To Buy Or Not To Buy
I’ve looked into the Wealthy College Kid program, and here’s what I think:
I wouldn’t suggest to buy it.
Selling things online through eCommerce can be a good way to make money, but it usually means spending money on ads and buying a lot of stuff to sell.
If you want a simpler way to do business that doesn’t involve selling products and is easier to manage, think about digital leasing.
This means buidling a website that gets free visitors (no ad cost needed), and then you can connect the leads you get to business owners. This way, you won’t have to spend a ton on advertising.
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2025
I have spent years researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Digital Leasing is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Leasing is for you.
Why?
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Leasing business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: In dropshipping, it’s tough to have full control. You can’t keep the products since they go straight from the supplier to the customer.
Also, others might sell the same things for cheaper, making it hard to stay competitive. The competition is strong, as there were more than 1.7 billion listings on eBay last year.
With Digital Leasing, you truly own the assets, giving you a lot more authority and control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Leasing with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) No Inventory: Dropshipping might seem like a good way to avoid having many products on hand, but it still has its own set of problems, just like regular stores. You’ll have to deal with suppliers, wait for deliveries, and handle customer refunds and returns.
Here’s a scenario to think about: You put in a lot of effort to get your first customer, but then they want their money back or ask their bank to cancel the payment because their order took six weeks to arrive.
On the flip side, Digital Leasing, an online business, doesn’t have these issues. You won’t have to worry about these problems when you go this route.
5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you’d have to double your inventory, your profit margins, OR your average order value. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
6) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. 99.9% of the time, dropshipping provides no value to anyone but the seller.
In a lot of cases, it has a negative impact on the customer because of poor product quality and an overall bad experience (i.e. waiting 6 weeks to get your order).
And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.
But with Digital Leasing, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Leasing, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Leasing makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Wealthy College Kid which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Leasing.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
